Like a tourist, we got lost trying to find this place until we realized we needed to go to the third floor. All the staff we encountered were super friendly, and you even get a mug for checking in. We were only going to get coffee, but were recommended to get the cinnamon roll. OMG that cinnamon roll was sooooo good, almost like a cronut. If we hadn't already eaten food at Pike's market, we would've ordered a second cinnamon roll. They were also giving away slices of chocolate cake, which paired well with the coffee we had. At this point, I was on the verge of getting diabetes. The interior is very nice, lots of couches, tables, and counter space by the windows if you want to work or just chill. There are restrooms you can use but gotta get the key and go outside to use them. Even after we returned home from our trip, we were still talking about Storyville. It was a memorable moment for us to get away, and just relax with with coffee and pastries. Highly recommend!

You should absolutely go as far as Anchorhead for one of the best coffee experiences in Seattle. Yeah, that's right. I know it may be sacrilegious to write that but its completely accurate. I visited Anchorhead three times during my four day stay in Seattle and every cup was as my neighbor Kathy says, 'To die for'. Well maybe not quite 'to die for' but pretty close. The inside is such a haven of peace and tranquility and I absolutely loved the vibe. There's plenty of space to chill or work or do both. My service was attentive and efficient. There's also Adirondack chairs outside if you want to watch the city chaos unfold.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
