I'm not going to lie that this place seems like it's gotten a little run-down through COVID, but the food was surprisingly delicious. I walked in a little disappointed to see there were protein tubs on the counters, things stacked way high in the open kitchen, and the place looking just a little sad. There was only one staff member there and he tried his best to make our food quickly (5 items). While I didn't have high expectations after the condition of the shop itself, we were pleasantly surprised that the food was pretty good! We got the power omelet, chocolate chip protein waffles, and smoked salmon bagel. Everyone was pleased and it hit the spot, as we were struggling to find a quick breakfast spot near the Space Needle. Otherwise I'm finally able to confirm what I've always thought about this place and that is that it's a complete waste of money! Sorry to sound so harsh but this place isn't even subpar. The smoothie bowl you get at Costco is bigger, more flavorful, has many more toppings and most importantly is much cheaper. This place is up the street from my work, the reviews kept me from completely avoiding this place until today. Phew! Glad that's done. No one else seems to mind but Emerald City Smoothies which is average is 100Xs better than this place. It's so hard to give rough reviews to local businesses that have such nice customer service. This was one of the most flavorless smoothies I have ever had. I got the acai one and the hubby got the berry one, both were equally disappointing. The manager even added a free banana (So kind!) into the berry smoothie and that was the only hint of flavor that you could taste. Since we had just spent 17 bucks, we ended up popping a naked juice into it just to make it drinkable. Will not be going here again sadly. It just tasted like a cup full of ice with some vanilla protein powder. Super bummed. read more

The guy working the counter was fenomenal and he even made some small talk. Which was nice because I'm someone who doesn't get out very much. Came here during a heat wave that was happening in Seattle the first week of August. The smoothie was cold and refreshing. I got the Power Green and my partner got the PB Chocolate. I actually like the PB Chocolate, because it has more peanut butter taste to it. Both were really great on a hot day though so no complaints. So we managed to catch Seattle during a heat wave and quickly yelped a smoothie place nearby! Power Smoothie has a lot of great flavor options and the menu has the proteins and calories listed on the menu. I got the power greens because it has my favorite flavors - mango, pineapple, and banana. They also have a bullet coffee with extra ingredients that have you burning fat for longer. Love this spot. I really love places like this where the owner really cares about what they sell and serve. I am a healthy eater and its hard to find places that truly embody the meaning of health but also provides a good value. Its hard to justify paying more than $10 for a small glass of smoothie that practically has the consistency of water and with some questionable ingredients. I like this place because its simple and true to health. They even display the products they use (ie Orgain protein or was it Vega, I cant remember). We had breakfast here and it was great. We were able to customize some of the ingredients and they delivered delicious and healthy meals in fair portions. The service here is pretty good, very friendly and helpful. Im not sure if the middle eastern guy is the owner, his approach is very personal and very sincere. I never got a chance to try the smoothie but ill surely be back for that. Ordered the $4 hot chocolate and I know that I said no sugar and just almond milk but the cacao quality was not that good. I would skip that especially for the price. The ambiance is not that great, its just ok, maybe even just a tad bit drab but you cant eat ambiance can you? Maybe in the future when budget allows, they can freshen up the place understanding that most people are shallow and beauty is skin deep. This might help them get more business. Desperately trying to not think of food(the struggle is real) I kept going on about my tasks and that's when I remembered that I had to provide some snack to my gut or I would soon be reaching out for chocolates from the chocolate bowl . They don't really have a seating option other than the four chairs which enforces the point that they would like to be a "pickup your goods and have a good day" sorta place.They not only cater to smoothies but also have some snacks up for sale such as hard boiled eggs, energy bites ,nuts et al. I asked the staff what she would suggest amongst the smoothies and she said peanut butter with chocolate and blah blah. Well that's what it sounded like because my brain had already settled for PB and chocolate. They have the calories listed against each of their smoothies for the calorie conscious. I wish they would also have macros listed because that's what I was looking for but I am nit picking. They offer their smoothies in a single size so there is not much debate there. I asked her yet again on which snack she would recommend and she clarified that the blueberry muffins were made by them so she was inclined towards that. I chose it too because they had specifically listed what the ingredients were. The muffins are gluten and sugar free. I don't care for "gluten-free' but I do care significantly for 'sugar-free' considering I have a borderline addiction of sorts . Anyhoo, so the muffins are made of almond flour and from my quick assessment I gathered that they are keto and paleo friendly(for the diet conscious). They aren't soft and fluffy but are fudge-y because of the ingredients used so you might want to bear that in mind before making a purchase.The above cost me $13.x I can now safely say that the smoothie can substitute a meal. I am so full that I am sure I will be good until after my workout. So fellow foodies I would ask you to power through and get your smoothie fix here instead of settling for treats you will later regret. This place was a lifesaver while we were in town on an extended business trip! The service was great each time we went in, and the smoothies were always top notch. Our weekday morning routine at home consists mainly of meal smoothies for the fam, but when we travel, we just go with whatever we can manage to find that's gluten free and dairy free. We visited Pluto about 3 or 4 times on our trip since their smoothies were so good AND since they offer a HUGE selection of add-ins, flavors, milks, etc. They also have lattes, snacks, and I keep hearing people order waffles (choc chip or blueberry!), so those must be pretty dank too. The vibe is pretty chill too. I appreciate the selection of books scattered around and the variety of seating. The guy behind the counter is always asks how you like your stuff... he genuinely cares. If you like smoothies (or waffles) or healthy foods, you will like this place. Great for gluten feee, dairy free, vegans, vegetarians, and pretty much everyone under the sun. Do it! To echo another reviewer...it's really tough to give a small business a low rating, but I was disappointed that my smoothie was made with Hershey's chocolate syrup. I came thinking I was going to get something organic and healthy and Hershey's Chocolate syrup is the antithesis of healthy. It has corn syrup in it...If I would have known I would've asked to leave it out. I would be happy to try the place again and change my rating. I just recommend to the owner to maybe choose a healthier syrup option or method of infusing chocolate into the drink. read more

The name of the café has organic in it and the vibes of the place seem to be intended for a healthy group of people however when we went to go order my absurdly expensive smoothie I noticed that they used Jif peanut butter. Are you kidding me? This is probably the most unhealthy peanut butter there is out there and it's definitely not organic. Had I known this I would've never set foot in the shop because it is not truly an authentically healthy and organic place to eat it just seem like a cheap option to make a smoothie and sell it for overpriced.
