The best cinnamon rolls I've had! I went in on April 19 and there was three girls who were getting down orders. The young woman with a dodgers hat was so lovely she gave me and my husband samples of the different choice of frostings there was. I've been to other Cinnaholic locations and always have had positive experiences, but they went above and beyond for my first time at this location! We had to wait a few minutes for them to prepare the coffee toppings for the glen-dough-ra, they explained why it would take a few minutes, were very apologetic, and even gave us a free cookie for the wait. It was so sweet, and everything was delicious!!! Such a nice vegan treat, we'll be back to this location for sure. There isn't dedicated parking but street parking is fairly easy and cheap. read more

We passed by this place during the 2nd street parade and just had to stop in. The shop was busy and you could tell the staff were hustling. Despite the pace the staff were super friendly and attentive. We ended up getting a little bit of everything. The Campfire S'mores roll was soft, warm, and absolutely delicious. The dole whip was amazing as was the hot chocolate. This isn't a place we will just stop in when down on 2nd street, this is now our reason to go to 2nd street! Realizing that this place is 100% vegan was just the icing on the cinnamon roll! We have a child with dietary restrictions and knowing that she can pick anything on the menu without concern made for a refreshing experience. We were so happy with our choices that we stood in line again to grab some of their to-go items. Cookies, brownies, a few of the wrapped cinnamon rolls, and some cookie dough. The second you step through the doors, you're immediately taken into bliss by the sweet smell of everything cooking. I got three rolls on my visit; the Spiced Apple Cobbler Roll, the Sweater Weather Roll, and the Cookie Monster Roll. All of them were amazingly decadent and some of the tastiest cinnamon rolls I've had. Y'all gotta get down there and show them some love. The Spiced Apple Cobbler and Sweater Weather rolls were limited time offerings during the winter, but be sure to check their menu for the revolving specialty rolls. read more

Cinnaholic also offers edible cookie dough scoops, brownies, cookies, and really fantastic coffee. This shop is in a prime location on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore. I ordered delivery via Postmates, and my order arrived carefully packaged. Cinnamon buns are usually not my thing, but the Caramel Apple Pie Roll was truly extraordinary. It arrived at my door still warm, oozing cream cheese icing. Topped with ample diced honeycrisp apple, toasted walnuts, and a thin caramel sauce, every bite of the golden, cinnamon scented pastry was a treat. The Cookie Dough Scoop was awesome as well. The portion is tiny, so it is not overly heavy or cloying. I opted for the Salted Elvis, which is topped with sliced banana, melted peanut butter, and pretzel pieces. Delicious. Just recently went to Long Beach location - word of advice, find side street parking if you are able to find somewhere to park. Okay, Cinnaholic, you're being reviewed. I don't know why, but when I moved back to Long Beach, I had no interest in trying Cinnaholic. I heard that they have vegan options and my girlfriend doesn't eat dairy, so that was enough reason to try it. Turns out everything they have is vegan, which made me extra skeptical. No offense to vegans, but they generally have to pretend that bland, uninspired food is actually great. Our first visit completely changed my tune when it comes to Cinnaholic. I had the caramel apple pie roll. The chopped, crisp apples were a wonderful compliment to the roll and I was immediately sold. But is their plain cinnamon roll good, or was all the accoutrement just a sufficient distraction? We had to go back. We grabbed two rolls last night, their plain Old Skool roll and the Cookie Monster roll. They were incredibly busy and working hard to keep up with the demand and accidentally made both rolls plain. When I brought the mistake up to them, they apologized and fixed it right away, which was more than sufficient. Then, they came out to where we were seated and gave us another roll and a coupon for a free roll, which was completely unnecessary in the circumstance, but speaks volumes about their customer service. The Old Skool sounds like it was named by some boomer who turned their REI hat backwards to prove that they are still cool and totally not lame, but it is the best roll on the menu. Fight me. On the other hand, the Cookie Monster is kind of a mess. The roll is great, but the chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, and cookie dough on top distract too much. But maybe you relish in the bad choices you make sometimes; maybe you secretly love dating train wrecks because you don't want to face the march of time and really embrace maturing; maybe you write "Skool" to feel like you're still relevant in this world. Whatever reason compels you to enjoy a monstrosity like the Cookie Monster roll, you're in a safe space at Cinnaholic. They won't judge you, they are your best friends. read more

So I've been eating vegan on and off for years. It's so hard to find yummy vegan desserts. The desserts here don't even taste vegan, which I love! Everything is delicious I have to keep myself from coming more than once a week haha. In all honesty this place gives Sweet Jills a run for their money! We had intended to go to Sweet Jill's, but they were out of cinnamon rolls and we'd heard from a friend that Cinnaholic was open now. We walked down there and walked inside. The line was a bit chaotic (no real organization) but we were able to get our orders in. We just wanted cinnamon rolls so we went with the classic. The wait was a little while, I'm going to assume they make them fresh/to order, so we waited outside. When I came back inside, I saw my order ready to go at the pick-up area so I walked over and asked if it was all complete. I was told that "I'm calling them in order, and I'm not at yours yet" so I stepped out of the way. No one came to grab the order the associate was calling, so she moved to my order and handed it to me. Strange interaction, but no big deal. We go home to eat our cinnamon rolls and holy cow. Not good. I don't know if it was on off day, or something was wrong with the dough, or what. But they were not good. We tried to power through, but there was no way. These were not good. I went with the Blueberry Pie Roll; the combination of cream cheese, pie crust, and blueberries sounded pretty good. My first impression was it was smaller than I thought it would be, especially for the price. But it's probably for the best that I don't eat a giant cinnamon roll. And it was very sweet. I mean of course it was, but I mean it was almost cloying, where the sugar overwhelmed the other ingredients. But ultimately, it was just okay. Something was off about it. The freshness, the flavor? I dunno, it didn't taste like a freshly-made cinnamon roll. Wait a minute. Hold on. This place is vegan? Oh wow, so that's what happened. Ok well then, for a vegan bakery this is 4 or 5 stars. Quite impressive for being dairy and egg free. But if you're looking for a classic cinnamon roll experience, then it doesn't quite measure up. Just ordered the old skool cinnamon roll. By far, hands down the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. The amount of icing that comes with it, get a fork or bring some wet wipes, the load it up. Today I came in to get another one so I can have the full experience and I told them about them forgetting the frosting last time, I showed her the transaction just to make the girls aware and she was like "that doesn't prove what you orders, if you want we can give you some frosting" What Am I supposed to do eat the frosting alone?
