I've see this spot every-time I'm and the area and was always curious to see if it was worth coming in. It was a no for me. The cinnamon roll was dry and the topping overwhelmed the actual bun itself. If you like a sugar bomb then this place is for you but if you're looking for a more balance taste then it's not. I don't do a lot of reviews usually so please keep that in mind! I chose to leave a great review for this place I had such a pleasant experience. I ordered a cake via their website for a co-worker who is vegan. I am not familiar with a lot of restaurants in town who offer fully plant based products so I was stoked to find one who fulfilled my order same day (within 2 hours at that!). I went to pick up the cake and the staff was so friendly and helpful with my many questions on the establishment as I had never heard about it before. Once my cake was done, the staff who assisted me took the time to ask about when the cake would be served and gave me helpful tips on storing it until the next day. The attention to that while they were busy was wonderful! On top of the nice service, I also bought a caramel apple cinnamon roll to try at home. My my my it was very tasty!! It was my first time there; definitely will not be my last. The ladies were patient with my indecisiveness and even gave me an insider tip that there are seasonal rolls. I've been here many times for cinnamon rolls and the dole whip and every time it's been great. In December my son was having a birthday and he is not a fan of traditional cakes or cupcakes so I decided to order a "cookie cake" I did initially order a double layer cake to accommodate the amount of kids at the party but there was a mistake on their end and I ended up with a single. I want to say I am very impressed with the customer service I received. I contacted the shop and they had the manager reach out to me swiftly and resolve the issue. Not only are the rolls perfectly baked at that puffy but not dry stage, but they are then blessed with a dollop of mother truckin' DELICIOUS icing. The four of us shared three flavors of icing; maple, cream cheese and vanilla. There are many others to select from and I feel the banana calling my name next time. Things I'm not a fan of in a cinnamon roll - a hard crust - a burnt bottom - an undercooked center - icing that is too sweet or too "cream cheesy" These cinnamon rolls were none of the above and we all really enjoyed them. There were 4 girls running the counter- not the best service, they seemed more in tune with chatting with each other than helping us out. Took a few minutes to get the roll (snoopadoodle)- was pleasantly surprised with the flavor but disappointed with the size (that's what she said). Seemed a little small for the price point, but flavor was pretty good and there are plenty of different options to customize your roll. Not sure if I'd hit them again (reading many comments about the poor service), but I guess if Sweet Jills is closed, this might fit the bill. read more

My family and I love to stroll down 2nd street to see what treats we can get our hands on after dinner lol! We usually stop at Sweet Jills to indulge in Cinnamon Rolls, but we decided to give this place a try. Ordering was easy and quick due to the friendly staff. We ordered an OG cinnamon roll that came with vanilla frosting, a 4th of July themed roll that had cream cheese frosting topped with raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries, the "raw" cookie dough, a black coffee with oatmilk and their mango/pineapple Dole whip. I must say I'm impressed. Before coming I was made aware this was a vegan establishment so I was curious how cinnamon rolls were going to taste without butter lol! But I was made a believer! Lol. The frosting tastes a lot like Cinnabon. The rolls were served hot, very soft and melted in your mouth. I must also say that they were overly sweet or sugary, and I think they do that by not sweetening the dough as well. The cookie dough was very good and something I'd recommend to chocolate lovers since it taste like they used dark or semi sweet chips, it made for a rich taste. My original every-once-in-a-while-spot in New Jersey is Auntie Anne's. After going Vegan, I'm glad about finding Cinnaholic. All options on the menu are Vegan! After trying the different creams (Raspberry tastes best to me that night), I decide on a savory option which I'm so grateful the establishment has--the Pizza Roll. The dough roll is tasty, and the toppings make the Pizza Roll taste like a pizza! Additionally, the Banana Bread and Plain Roll (cut bits on the plate in a picture attachment--cause I'm not intaking that much sugar in one sitting) are really good (chocolate chip and banana flavors are present well--the roll tastes delicious with the Raspberry cream). These are the most unique and delicious cinnamon rolls! One of the best parts is that you can customize your roll. I have already tried 3 different combinations, and each has exceeded my expectations. The rolls are the perfect size and sweetness, not overly sweet at all, and not too big for one person. I love having fruit frosting options, and fresh fruit toppings.
