After what seems like years for this place to open, I finally popped in to check them out. They have a bunch of options, similar to choosing toppings for frozen yogurt or a sundae. Or you can pick a Signature Roll or Local Favorite. Service was very friendly, helpful, and fast. My roll was ready in a minute. I went with the Blueberry Pie Roll; the combination of cream cheese, pie crust, and blueberries sounded pretty good. My first impression was it was smaller than I thought it would be, especially for the price. But it's probably for the best that I don't eat a giant cinnamon roll. And it was very sweet. I mean of course it was, but I mean it was almost cloying, where the sugar overwhelmed the other ingredients. But ultimately, it was just okay. Something was off about it. The freshness, the flavor? I dunno, it didn't taste like a freshly-made cinnamon roll. Wait a minute. Hold on. This place is vegan? Oh wow, so that's what happened. Ok well then, for a vegan bakery this is 4 or 5 stars. Quite impressive for being dairy and egg free. But if you're looking for a classic cinnamon roll experience, then it doesn't quite measure up. The cinnamon rolls are pretty good and fresh but the service doesn't match up. I tried cinnaholic for the first time I got the apple pie cinnamon roll to go and they forgot the frosting. Today I came in to get another one so I can have the full experience and I told them about them forgetting the frosting last time, I showed her the transaction just to make the girls aware and she was like "that doesn't prove what you orders, if you want we can give you some frosting" What Am I supposed to do eat the frosting alone? my wife and I went last week sunday. it was bomb.com. we decided to go again this sunday the 4th. we were very disappointed. the churroroll and the small little bites size rolls. nasty hard asf and very cold and old tasting. Just ordered the old skool cinnamon roll. By far, hands down the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. The amount of icing that comes with it, get a fork or bring some wet wipes, the load it up. Came here a while ago... was excited they opened a new location in LB. Thought I would have a better experience compared to Brea location, but this one was WORSE. The cinnamon rolls here were ok, better than the Brea location.... but customer service was horrible! The girls here need to get their eyes and attitude checked. They look at you like, "Why are you here?" Not welcoming at all. No greeting, and I had to talk to them first. First of all, the place was empty. When one of the female employees took my order, she seemed annoyed and at the end of the transaction where it asks if you want to tip, I put no and she gave me a dirty look. Of course no tip, check your face!! Who is running this place? It seems like a bunch of young adults with an attitude problem. This business is going to go down hill real quick if they don't make any adjustments to customer service. I just noticed the Brea one has already closed down. Sad. read more
