Cinnamon bun was pretty good but it was a little too doughy and they put the frosting on while it was hot so all of the frosting melted. There's an obvious lack of leadership organization amongst the really young employees. This makes for slow service and lots of confusion. read more

First time at Cinnaholic I just decided to drop by while in a walk. I hardly ever find a cinnamon roll shop around.. So I had to try it. The staff were very kind and welcoming. I ordered the Tropical Bliss and Apple Pie cinnamon rolls. Perfect to share and really delicious! We also tried the Dole Whip and it was tasty, pretty close to the Disneyland favorite. Came here a while ago... was excited they opened a new location in LB. Thought I would have a better experience compared to Brea location, but this one was WORSE. The cinnamon rolls here were ok, better than the Brea location.... but customer service was horrible! The girls here need to get their eyes and attitude checked. They look at you like, "Why are you here?" Not welcoming at all. No greeting, and I had to talk to them first. First of all, the place was empty. When one of the female employees took my order, she seemed annoyed and at the end of the transaction where it asks if you want to tip, I put no and she gave me a dirty look. Of course no tip, check your face!! Who is running this place? It seems like a bunch of young adults with an attitude problem. This business is going to go down hill real quick if they don't make any adjustments to customer service. I just noticed the Brea one has already closed down. Sad. read more

Wanted to support an upcoming business but we were hugely disappointed. We got two cinnamon rolls with different frostings and they were doughy and under cooked. Seems like they like to camouflage it with their overly sweet frosting. Very disappointing! To add insult to injury, they were over priced! Incredible!! So delicious, fresh and unique, The store is clean, efficient and contemporary and the array of colorful delicacies is almost overwhelming. So much to choose from. Fan of Cinnaholic for a few years, this was my first time at the Long Beach location. I ordered a few items which included the LBC Cinnamon Roll and a scoop of the mocha chocolate cookie dough to go. It took a while for my order, but I didn't mind waiting. Note: it was not extremely busy and there were three associates. When the associate did call my name she only had two items for me, minus the dole whip swirl I had ordered and paid for. I indicated I had also paid for the dole whip swirl. The associate indicated it might've been put in the freezer, it was not. She made another, and handed it to me. This should've been a red flag that something was wrong with my order, but I thought nothing at the time. When I got home, I was hoping to sit down and enjoy my LBC Roll (which was supposed to have various toppings), instead I received a container with a plain wrap roll. I proceeded to check the container with the cookie dough and found another plain item, this was very upsetting as I had paid almost 9.00 dollars for a plain unappetizing cinnamon roll and 4.00 dollars for a plain scoop of cookie dough. I was extremely dissatisfied with my order and with the quality of service at this location. Worst experience, consumers please check your items when ordering to go. read more

One thing I'll mention is that although I ordered one roll (old school) I felt like I was awkwardly waiting a while ? I saw about 4 people total in the front of the store (I could tell two were occupied with some sort of training) but I was waiting at least 5 minutes. I wasn't in a rush or anything so I'm happy the bun tasted fresh and was warm. With melty (in a good way) cream cheese frosting :-) It was worth the wait Another thing - I saw another customer order coffee and I think they were told coffee is self serve (I could be wrong). I tried this establishment today with my mom, first off the employees, upon entering, turned their back to us, throwing back a mediocre hello as though not wanting to welcome anyone coming in and instead seemed embellished in their conversation and preferring to nibble on whatever they had in the back before providing service. 2nd STREET LONG BEACH LOCATION Horrible service and crappy attitudes presented by the employees. After waiting 15 minutes for my cinnamon roll, I was spoken to in a very impertinent way for pouring a cup of water with the provided pitcher that is for customers. With sincere confusing as to why I couldn't have the water, I questioned the employee for her comment and then was asked to leave the establishment. While waiting for my dessert, there was even a couple that had walked in, to purchase something and was clearly displeased with the employee's inferior demeanor that they walked out and did not even order anything. Despite the poor experience, the dessert itself was genuinely horrid. The frosting on the cinnamon roll tasted like buttered popcorn. I actually had to throw it away. I don't get how everyone likes the taste of uncooked plain dough. Gross! I am a huge fan of cinnamon rolls and got the Classic. Super gross and didn't take it back because I kept hoping it would get better. Big mistake and waste of the calories. I will say the icing is dope (but honestly tastes like sweet butter).
