I do not eat a vegas diet nor do I support a strict vegan diet. That said, I am not opposed to the occassional vegan treat as long as it tastes good. Tonight I was looking for dessert. Something other than ice cream. Something different. I came upon Cinnaholics on Yelp and the pics looked pretty good. When I read into it I saw they are a vegan establishment. Ugh. But it did fit the bill. A different dessert and something other than ice cream. So, what the hell. After a 15-20 minute drive to Green Valley, I walked in and ordered an Irish Coffee and Cream cinnamon roll. I had seen it on their website and also there is a poster on the wall. It cost me $6.65. "This better be good" was what I was thinking at this point. A few minutes later my cinnamon roll was hot and ready. And let me tell you, they dropped a sugar bomb on me. It was covered in frosting and chocolate chips. I think even coffee grounds. It was rich. It was sweet. It was hot. And the roll was soft and chewy like a good cinnamon roll should be. Impressive. I am still not on the vegan band waggon. Never will be. But places like this are doing things right. They are making good food that all people can enjoy equally. Whether you are vegan or an omnivorous fatso like me looking for a sweet treat to end the evening, Cinnaholics can satisfy your sweet tooth. My sister introduced me to this place, and I was impressed with how tasty it is especially for being all vegan. She told me that this business was on Shark Tank. I didn't see any photos (like still shots) from the show or pictures of any of the sharks with the owners; but I later saw a small "As seen on Shark Tank" decal near the register. We ordered 2 cinnabuns both with cream cheese frosting - one with graham cracker pieces, almonds, fresh strawberry pieces, and coconut flakes the other one with chocolate chips and fresh strawberry pieces. Both were really good! Hard to believe it's all vegan! It does taste a bit more dense than regular cinnabuns, but the frosting and toppings help that. The establishment itself is clean, simple/easy-to-read menu, friendly worker - although she didn't seem to know a lot about the product. I asked if the owners ended up getting a deal with one of the sharks, she didn't know. I asked how many calories these have versus regular cinnabuns or their competitors like Cinnabon, she didn't know. I ended up looking up the Shark Tank episode online and watching it. The owners said it's about 1/2 the calories than their competitors' ones and vary from 400-500 calories depending on frosting and toppings. Also, they did in fact get a deal with Shark Robert. It would've been nice if the worker knew a little bit more about the product. Overall, pretty good. read more

Cinnamon rolls that are customizable! You pick the glazes you want and also which toppings. It comes out warm and the bun itself is not too sweet, it's the frosting or toppings you add on that really adds the sweetness. They also had a lot of set flavors that you can order from. I really like that everything here is vegan. This was my second time trying one of their rolls and I was a bit disappointed compared to my previous experience. The staff member was nice and the establishment was clean, but the roll was subpar. It looked promising- large roll, generous toppings, and it appeared fresh. I got a custom roll with cake batter icing, cookie dough, and brownie bites. I ate it as soon as I got home because I wanted it to still be fresh. The roll itself was stale as were the dry, crispy (eww) brownies. The only thing that tasted fresh were the cookie dough and frosting. It helped after popping it in the microwave but it just made it a soft stale roll (and I shouldn't have had to do that after having gotten it less than an hour ago). The rolls are good when they are fresh though you won't know if it will be or not. Quality control needs improvement. read more

This is my review for two separate visits. I heard about this place through a family member & decided to come try this place out Saturday night 8/31 at 9:06pm. Hubby and I ordered the Banana Foster & let me tell you... presentation deserves zero stars. This place was on Shark Tank too apparently, BUT the icing flavor deserves all the stars! It's so addicting & the flavor makes up for the lack of presentation. Disappointed about the two chunks of bananas. I was so hooked I came again Sunday night 9/1 around 8:56pm & ordered the Captain America & the young lady who was working was super helpful, polite, & even offered me a to-go bag even though I didn't need it. She deserves a raise because I know how tough it is to keep a smile at that time of night! Anyways, the presentation and the taste were superb! Will be coming back soon! I would have given five stars but the presentation of the banana foster bothered me & that bun wasn't big and it was semi-hard even with all the sauce on it. I still can't believe this place exists. A decadent cinnamon bun cafe that just happens to use 100% vegan ingredients? Sign me up. I remember seeing their pitch on Shark Tank some time back and even back then this was a place I knew I wanted to try. It is a counter service joint where you choose an icing variety plus toppings for your freshly baked cinnamon bun, almost like making a cinnamon bun sundae. The choice of icing flavors is a bit intimidating, as there are so many that seem delicious. I went with the classic vanilla icing topping, as that is what I picture when I want a cinnamon bun. The bun did not disappoint. It was hot, chewy, sweet, and covered with delicious icing. The cookie dough topping I ordered was obviously delicious but totally unnecessary, as the cinnamon bun was sweet and rich enough. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating as well. I made my own roll with bananas, normal frosting and a drizzle. The cinnamon roll was great with a wet/gooey/cinnamon bomb in the middle as it should be. The frosting and banana were fresh sweet and perfect. The drizzle I got tastes super artificial - I had to scrape it off. I'd stick to more basic combos with fresh ingredients. read more

OK, listen. Do not come here unless you are ready to develop a craving. If you're going to have a treat, consider this place. I like mine with Icing on the side with fresh berries and nuts. You can "kind of" lighten these up. You can also go ALL IN with mounds of sugar on sugar as well. I have actually kept one in the fridge for almost a week. it reheated really well. Let me preface this by saying, I don't normally like cinnamon buns. I was never drawn to the smells in the mall food court, and tempted by its sticky sugary ways. One day though one of my vegan friends was getting super excited this place was gracing las Vegas. I didn't think much if it until it appeared when I was searching for a sweet treat, and they looked totally different from the cinnamon buns I had been accustomed too. The unique toppings and combinations spoke to me, and finally last night a late night sugar craving struck. Luckily they are opened till 10pm, so off I went to fulfil my sweet tooth fantasies. When you order you pick a frosting flavor, and then you'd toppings. The selection is plentiful. They also have some set combinations they have already created for those who don't want to think that hard and need a suggestion. We tried the key lime pie one they had, and then made two of our own. Mine was cream cheese frosting and cookie dough, and his was cream cheese frosting and so many toppings it was mildy insane. Each topping is 50 cents. They had to make some fresh for us so they were toasty when we got them. These are super decadent. Like I maybe consumed about a third of a cinnamon bun total out of the two I was snacking on. They are delightful though. I enjoyed the key lime and my creation. The key lime notes are pretty subtle for sure, so don't be worried if you don't like things super tangy. It also has a cinnamon crumble on top. This place converted me for sure, and it's impressive that for how rich it is they are vegan. I use to promote this place nonstop; however, in the past year I've been three times and all three times the cinnamon roll has been old, hard and served cold. This last experience today really had me upset because I was trying to surprise my mother in the nursing home with a fresh cinnamon roll only to get here and have a stale roll! I stopped in recently thanks to the Yelp! elite perk they were offering, and I'm so happy I said forget the health foods; I'm going back! Every time I've gone, I stick with the classic (because it's a classic for a reason,) but this time I went all out with the Banana's Foster. I couldn't believe my tastebuds! Definitely gonna be my new go-to, although probably still going to have to stick with my "Cinnaholic in moderation" rule. I think it's amazing how this place is Vegan, yet so delicious. It was about the diameter of a grapefruit and it was served hot. The lemon icing tasted light and fresh. It wasn't overpowering. The fresh, slightly-mushy raspberries complemented the flavor nicely. I'm not sure if this was by design, but there was more icing in the box than on the roll. I ended up getting it in my hair and on my shirt as I tried to hit my mouth before it drizzled. No such luck! As the roll cooled the cinnamon hardened into a texture almost like the brown sugar on a pineapple upside down cake. It's interesting to get two distinctly different experiences in one sitting. It was REALLY good. And it's vegan. I couldn't taste a difference. Inside the seating area was a modern cafe style in black. Everything was super clean. Ok so this place is 100 percent vegan, despite that not being very obvious. Small signage. Place is very modern and clean- tons of special rolls with a good variety. Raspberry truffle was awesome and the classic roll was just as good. Overall very happy with my first vegan 'dessert' experience. Wait... What do you mean these are vegan? These cinnamon rolls are AMAZING, which makes it hard to believe that they are 100% vegan. But, it's true! Rest assured, all products at Cinnaholic are dairy and lactose-free, egg-free, and cholesterol-free. I was beyond excited when I found out that a Cinnaholic was coming to the Pebble Marketplace. It's just what this shopping center needed! My family and I came here for dessert after dinner at a nearby restaurant and although I was full, I couldn't resist this sweet treat. I love that Cinnaholic allows you to be creative. You can order an old fashioned cinnamon roll or you can live life on the edge and customize your own roll from start to finish! With almost 20 different frosting flavors and toppings, the combinations one could come up with are simply endless! The cinnamon roll itself was delicious. Our rolls were fresh and warm! Not dry, not too gooey, just right. It had the perfect amount of frosting and it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. First of all- absolutely delicious food. Everything on the menu is a home run and as someone with an egg allergy I love knowing it's all vegan! Secondly, and more importantly, the service here is incredible. My newborn daughter was going through open heart surgery. We came here as an escape from the hospital and broke down to the cashier about what was going on. He gave us complimentary treats and went above and beyond with well wishes and kindness. I was addicted to this place for about 3 months straight! The cinnamon rolls here are WAY better than Cinnabon's, to start. Plus, everything here is lactose-free, which is a plus for me. They are vegan also, so no need to be scared of eating the cookie dough! The service used to be amazing but it seems a bit off since the last time I visited. Maybe it's just a one time thing. I also noticed that they weren't putting as much icing on the rolls as they used to :( But no matter.
