    Chocolate dipped banana
    Stefany V.

Came here based on their social media account and signage- wanted a gelato on a stick creation, the s'mores version really had my interest. But I arrived and was told they no longer offer those products, despite a huge photo of them on the wall. Current options include ice creams (cones and cups), milkshakes, cheesecake, and frozen bananas. Luckily, I love frozen bananas so my visit wasn't entirely wasted. However, other spots in town offer them with sprinkles, nuts, and other add-ons that this spot doesn't. Really friendly and apologetic cashier. Cute space. Loyalty card with discounts- $1 off your next visit was a nice touch to bring people back in. But unfortunately I came here to get something different.

Cappuccino gelato stick with white chocolate dipping + pistachio topping&coconut gelato with half dip milk chocolate + sprinkles

Sadly, I really don't know what to make of this. Decided to bookmark this place based off of some of my Yelpers on my friends list, because they posted some yummy pics of their sticks and shakes. HOWEVER.....my experience was anything BUT satisfying. My special someone and I decided to get dessert after our dinner date. We both opted for the gelato sticks. $4.95 each. If you want to add toppings (chocolate dip + topping) it can range from 0.50 cents to $1.00 whether if you want half dip or full dip. Make sure you check in so you can get 15% off per stick, per person. Even with that discount, our total came out to around $12 including tax. We got: ***1 coconut gelato stick with half milk chocolate dipping + rainbow sprinkles. ***1 cappuccino gelato stick with full white chocolate dipping + pistachio topping. Maybe we're spoiled with Yogurtland or anything similar to froyo....but this was kind of pricey for a small dessert. Plus it wasn't great either. Just tasted like a normal popsicle stick with toppings. Too sweet for my liking. Only reason why I'll ever be back is to try the shakes. And that's a BIG MAYBE.

Sticks and Shakes may break my taste buds.

I would love to have tried more than one item here before writing the review, but I'm just not in the Galleria Mall very often despite how close it is to my place of residence. I did go once though. Made a pass to grab a to-go menu and read up on it without feeling pressured, I kinda skimmed through the shakes, which look pricey ($4.75-$7.25+, depending on size and add-ons), and I wasn't feeling up to a waffle ($3.50) or a waffle on a stick ($4.95). When I got to the page with the sorbet sticks ($3.75) and gelato sticks ($3.95), I was interested to see the special dietary considerations highlighted for each option (vegan, dairty free, gluten free, or sugar free). Come to think of it, I wonder why only 4 of the 24 flavors are listed as gluten free. I don't care about that stuff really, but I'm just curious to learn what they use that contains gluten. Anyway, I spotted hazelnut on the gelato stick list, so I went back to purchase it. I saw that they have a bunch of their ice cream / sorbet on a stick options lined up in their glass display, ready to entice regular customers who don't grab a to-go menu and run away. I also noted that they use a Clover-based cash register with a unique swiveling screen that I hadn't seen before. Not sure why, but it felt more difficult to sign my name on this screen than the screen of the Square machines that I've been seeing more and more of. Overall, I think that it's worth the novelty not to use cash. I took my gelato stick, presented in a paper tray that some might describe as cute, and I found a table so that I could slowly enjoy my treat. I thought that the texture would have been more thoroughly creamy, but it was noticeably icy at times. This is disappointing because even a Haagen-Dazs ice cream bar from the freezer aisle is thoroughly creamy. The gelato stick's flavor did have some decent hazelnuttiness though, so props for that. However, it seemed a little syrup-y at times, as if they'd added enough sugar to change the texture of both the ice and the liquid "melt" that appeared over time. I can't help but compare this to when I've previously enjoyed hazelnut flavors, whether it was in gelato or in chocolate, and it doesn't quite measure up. I'll probably try them again next time I somehow find myself at the mall to see if their other flavors are interesting, and/or if the texture wasn't a bit of a fluke. Or I might actually go the distance and get it dipped in chocolate and covered in something nice, like hazelnuts, instead of cheaping out like I tend to do. But even if I had gotten the "full dip & top" today, I probably still wouldn't have been impressed. Overall, I can't recommend them over the aforementioned frozen aisle ice cream, the true gelato just a manageable drive away at Art of Flavors, or even over an alternative nearby frozen treat place like Yogurtland. Sticks and Shakes is not worth going out of your way at all.

My son was craving a milkshake in the middle of us shopping and thank goodness we found this place in the Galleria Mall so we didn't have to leave. Man do they have a variety of heavenly treats ranging from milkshakes to gelato to even cheesecake popsicles. He intended to get a vanilla milkshake but when his eyes caught Oreo, boy he was stuck on that instead. They have threee sizes; Small, Medium, and Large. He went for the medium which to me, kinda looked more like small. I gotta say the prices are up there averaging at $7.50. If it weren't for the high prices with small cups, they would've earned 5 stars vs 4.

    Pineapple soft serve

My wife ordered a shake and I got the pineapple soft serve. It tasted ok. Nothing special. Extremely pricy. $4.25 for a sample size cup. Not at all what it looks like in the picture on the menu.

staff are super nice and the menu is really broad ! Definitely worth a stop for anyone in the area ! This location is located upstairs at the galleria at sunset mall. I ordered the Twix shake which was around $7. Super pricy but I think it's worth the visit.

$7.00 for a shake the size smaller than a Starbucks grande. Pretty pricey, in my opinion

Being an early bird, I was the first of my friends to make it to hang out in Galleria Mall, where this is located. (It is in between Kay Jewelers and Locker Room) Feeling the need for something cold, I thought this was a perfect place to satisfy my cravings after seeing the reviews. Walking up to the register, I was shocked to not even get a greeting from any of the workers. After a few moments of awkwardly staring at the menu, one of them finally offered to show me a menu to look at. Taking a quick glance, I noticed how pricey some of the options were. I was originally looking to buy a gelato bar, but there were only 3 bars available and all were in one flavor! After some contemplation, I settled on getting a cookie overload shake. To my surprise, it added up to more than $7.00 without any add-ons, and the shake was barely the size of a Starbucks grande! Not to mention, the girl making my order didn't look like she wanted to be there at ALL. Not a smile or a word to me, she just made my drink with a frown on her face. Although I admit the shake was pretty tasty, it wasn't the best I've had. It wasn't worth $7.00+ and the mediocre service. I might come back to try again, but I wouldn't be going out of my way to come here.

    The dairy milk shake

Just tried this place with my boyfriend and it was absolutely one of a kind shakes! Absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and I liked the new tech. They have a huge selection of ingredients. I recommend people to check this out! :). The dairy milk shake and the galaxy bar shake are so good!

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

God, there was so much and I loved the experience but it was so much food, next time my bougie self needs restraint. First of all, the lychee green tea was delicious, I could drink a gallon of it; it was the right amount of sweetness with that tea aftertaste. Second, the panini and scones were my favorite overall from the tiers. I got the tomato mozzarella panini and it was toasty with spinach and pesto, I need to get another one. Third, the scones were to die for. They weren't heavy or like overly dense that you choke; the outside was buttery, crunchy, with the inside soft and full of fruit bits. It went so well with the cream and jam. I felt the other desserts on the tier weren't as wowing compared to the scones and panini; the cake in the shape of a cheese wedge is cute, but flavor profile was kind of lacking. There was just too much mousse going on that the cake inside was just mush; maybe if there was like blueberry crumble or something crunchy inside, it'd be more interesting. And the outside shell is definitely too sweet and thick, I think a glaze would have done as well, but that's just my thought. Not a traditional tea set...but nice to see their spin on it. We had 3 people and still had so much left over food. Although the presentation of some of the pastries in display were really nice, quality of pastries was average tasting. Service first time was great. The 2 gentleman working the counter were really pleasant and had a warm demeanor. Came back on my own the next week ordered a plain ice green tea. Unbeknownst to me It came sweet and asked to see if it could be remade. The tea barista said that I didn't ask for it to be unsweetened. I Mention I wasn't aware iced green tea was sweetened (otherwise i would have). She remade it but, was visibly annoyed, and kept telling me the next time to order to ask for no sweetener and all their drinks were sweetened. I already mentioned twice that I wasn't aware that it was sweetened. Interaction was a little uncomfortable as I felt tea barista kept implying fault on me based on an assumption that I should have known. On a hospitality note... a simple "yes all drink including plain ice teas do come sweetened, sorry you weren't made aware, happy to remake it" would have made a better experience. It's just a misunderstanding. Possible have staff prompt guest on sweetness level can also alleviate misunderstanding.
