There were so many Cocolini restaurants along the Las Vegas strip. The one I ate at was in Mandalay Bay. They have all sorts of yummy looking ice cream and sorbets. I was in the mood for lunch so I got the turkey bacon avocado crepe. It was so good! Makes me want to make crepes at home! Staff was very friendly as well!
Dessert is my kryptonite, and after years of indulging in sweets around the world, I have become somewhat of a gelato connoisseur. So, when I was craving something cold, I could not resist stopping at the Cocolini Gelato shop near Mandalay Bay hotel. My first question was whether they offered samples. To my surprise, the answer was no. Having enjoyed gelato in countless cities and countries, I cannot recall ever encountering a gelato shop that did not offer at least a small sample before purchasing. Given the shop's location next to Mandalay Bay and the steady stream of customers, I can understand why they may have adopted this policy. I decided to order the butter pecan gelato. Unfortunately, the texture was super coarse and grainy rather than the smooth, creamy consistency that I expect with quality gelato. While the flavor was ok, the texture detracted from the overall experience, and it ultimately failed to satisfy my craving. I did try another location on the Strip, and they said the pecans likely had been ground too much. The gelato was ok.

They have a sign saying "No Samples." The service was great; he answered our endless questions and made recommendations. I ordered a medium with: 1. Passion fruit: The fruit flavor and tartness were spot on. However, the whole blueberry and raspberry in it were overly sour. 2. Pineapple: Inconsistent. Some bites were great, but others were like stale ice.
My boyfriend and I first noticed Cocolini Gelato Bar while walking to an event in Las Vegas. As we passed by, the gelato looked so good that we immediately made a mental note to come back. A few days later, we were craving something sweet and decided to return. There was no line, and the employee working behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She explained that we didn't have to order a cone and could choose two scoops served in one of their cute blue cups. I ordered the Birthday Cake and S'mores gelato, while my boyfriend chose Strawberry Cheesecake and Birthday Cake. When I say this was some of the best gelato we've ever had, I truly mean it. The flavors were creamy, smooth, and full of flavor without being overly rich or too sweet. The portion size was also perfect and more than enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. My only suggestion would be to offer samples, especially for first-time visitors who may have a hard time choosing between so many delicious flavors. If you're in Las Vegas and looking for a sweet treat, I highly recommend checking out Cocolini Gelato Bar!
If you're a gelato lover, you absolutely have to check this spot out! It's super cute and located right in the Mandalay Bay. They have such a wide variety of amazing flavors to choose from. Plus, they also serve other delicious things too, like macaron's. It's definitely a must-visit for any dessert enthusiast!
Located throughout casinos in Vegas, this is some of the best gelato I've ever had! So creamy and full of flavor. Pricing is definitely casino pricing but absolutely worth it. Warning, portion sizes look really small but they pack it in so you get plenty! You walk up to the counter, order, pay and wander away to find somewhere to enjoy your cold, delicious treat. There is no seating as it's just a free standing area or small storefront depending on which casino you go to.
Most overpriced ice-cream I've purchased [Las Vegas NV] Saw Cocolini's on our way up the escalator to the shoppes at Mandalay Place in Mandalay Bay and said we'd return after the show. Came here for ice-cream after an intimate parlor show at the 1923 Prohibition Bar. We each got a scoop of gelato, smooth and creamy with some flavorful options -- hubby chose Pistachio and I had the Nutella Coffee Crunch. It was delicious albeit a bit pricey... yep, $17 for both! Service was pleasant and efficient. They cater to various preferences, including lactose-free options like sorbets. Starbucks is next door. This is some of the best gelatto I have ever had, if not the best. I got chocolate and lemon all three nights. As good at the Mandalay or the Venician. The chocolate is like a creamy Italian ice. If you're from NY, you'll know what I mean. They don't allow samples, although only Mandalay has a hand written sign stating so. @cocolinigelato

After a dinner at Ri Ra at Mandalay Place, I rode the escalator down in search of a coffee. I saw Starbucks was closed and was going to just keep going - but then the big case of gelato caught my eye, and then the sign that read Illy. I was in! Walking up to the gelato case, I was greeted by a super friendly team member. I have to give her a shout out - Diana. She was SO FRIENDLY, had a big smile, and was ready to answer any of my questions. There were so many flavors of gelato to choose from but I was craving a coffee flavor - between Nutella Coffee and Espresso, Diana advised that if I was craving a coffee flavor, go for the Espresso. The gelato was delicious - super smooth, not overly sweet with just the right amount of coffee flavor. I loved it. I just had gelato at another place at Fountainbleu that was good - but in my opinion, this one was even better. I also ordered an Americano which was on point. I'll always be stopping by here for some Illy and forgoing the Starbucks. Again - can't say enough about Diana. She really made the experience great and she was the only one behind the counter and managed all of the customers who were there.
Even with Starbucks right next door I still get my coffee here. Staff is always patient and kind. Even when I stand there figuring out what to order only to order the same thing every time. lol! Love how smooth and yummy it is. Cute little shop they also offer gelato and pastries.
i think my favorite thing about this shop is the ice cream offered at their shop, since its very presentable and appealing to see. for reference, they are next to Starbucks i ordered their ham, egg and cheese, which could've been better if the croissant didn't overcook, but it did its thing. cappuccino was elite

Good pit stop for a sweet treat! If you're walking through the Mandalay Place mall then this is a great place to stop for a night cap over a sweet treat or mid-day dessert break. Don't get too close to the gelato display, it gives off heated steam. It's not a big deal but just so you're aware. They have a variety of flavors from fruity to creamy that all look appetizing. I ordered a small cup of the Dubai chocolate flavor - it was nice. In a small cup they give you 2 scoops of 1 flavor for about $6+. I enjoyed this flavor. Overall, the gelato was pretty solid but not the creamiest I've ever had. The service was quick and present. I'd definitely come back here to try the other flavors. It a clean, small store that'll have you in and out if there's no crazy line. read more

Came here for a last night dessert after the AMAs. Inside the MB/ W. Great meeting spot for the concert at Allegiant too. Had tiramisu gelato. So tasty and full of flavor. Came back for breakfast the next day for a bacon egg cheese croissant breakfast sandwich. I paired it with an iced breve vanilla latte. They use heavy cream as they don't have half and half and it tasted just like a dessert drink. Nice and bold for a good pick me up read more

Good product but terrible mgmt of shop. Only place in Mandalay Bay that doesn't honor military discount and won't let u charge to room. They also didn't honor bogo coupon from the chain so three strikes for me so I'm out. Last time I come here u til they make some changes. read more

My favorite hidden gem on the strip. Hidden away at Mandalay Place at Mandalay Bay next to the starbucks is cocolini and it is wonderful! They sell coffee , breakfast sandwiches, crepes, and ice cream! I ordered 2 sausage breakfast bagels and large chai latte for only $25 and on the strip?? thats good pricing! the service was nice and fast which i loved since i was about to go to work but wanted a quick bite to eat. its a beautiful location very inviting with open seating and stays very clean. I asked for a bag and they didnt have any so they came up with a solution to put it in a zip lock bag, which i found creative , hilarious, and appreciated the commitment to help achieve my request. A bit disappointing but I am not surprised. There are like a hundred locations of this place in every casino and up and down the strips. But they never seem to have much business or any business at all. This one is located next to a Starbucks. In the morning they offer breakfast foods and coffee, but I only saw people getting stuff here once. The rest of the crowd was at Starbucks even though the line was out the door and the people at Starbucks were cranky. They would rather be cranky than come eat here at the empty restaurant. I saw they had a thick black and white cookie, which is one of my favorites, so I decided to try it. It was not fresh, a bit dry, and disappointing. now I know why people prefer an overcrowded Starbucks, they like consistency. They do have tons of food looking gelato flavors, but they do not offer any samples here in Vegas. I get why, but I don't. Even in overpriced Waikiki beach in Hawaii, our favorite gelato place, did offer plenty of samples before we committed. Honestly, I am glad I skipped the gelato here, we got some at Eataly and that was fantastic. Due to the mediocre baked good, I will probably not be back. read more

Sooo many flavors! I did not like that we couldn't sample them because I ended up wasting mine. My daughters got vanilla and mango. The bf got banana and I got the guava. I was not a big fan of any of the flavors we got except for the banana! The banana was my favorite. I got another one the next day during my stay at the Mandalay Bay. read more

The coffee and gelato are so good! But the staff is rude and not good with the public. They bark out "NO SAMPLES", no please or thank you, no effort at all towards customer service. If there was any other good cappuccino and gelato place I would never come here. They seem hostile and probably overworked. It's sad to have to interact with them-maybe they need a long vacation:) read more

They served me a completely burned crepe, smeared nutella on it to disquise it when I didn't order a crepe with nutella, then folded it so the burn was inside. So when I left and tried to eat it was inedible. read more

Was walking by when we saw Cocolini's. It has a good selection of gelato flavors and the ones we tried were good. I didn't take pictures, but I also ordered some Macarons and as pretty as they were, I would NOT order these again. The main reason for this is that out of the 6 I ordered, most were old and very hard. Unfortunately, you can't tell if how long they have been sitting out but I never had hard Macarons. Usually they're soft, gooey, and chewy. These were HARD. I would have actually gone back to complain about it if it wasn't for the fact I was already out in the parking lot by the time I tried one. As for the gelato, it was good. I would try Cocolini's but I would only order the gelato and nothing else. read more

Gelato anyone? Mandalay Bay has a great pick for a refreshing gelato. Small is a single scoop. Medium is double scoop and large is three scoops. Mix and match flavors or get the one you love twice or three times. I love the pistachio. Creamy in texture and big nut bites. The mint choc chip isn't like traditional ice cream so if you're looking for that familiarity maybe try it first before purchasing. I do remember this same line of gelato with fresher tasting gelato at another hotel. A rainbow of flavors to choose from including sorbets. They also have coffee, desserts, pastries, soft drinks and smoothies. Plenty of seating area. Chairs and umbrella tables are by the entrance there's also tables around the corner by the escalators. Starbucks is also right next to it. Great service they take cash or card. read more

My daughter loves her ice cream ! Promised her after dinner gelato if she eats good so here we are! I got the pistachio and she got the Oreo. Both were good! We also tried the macarons and New York cheesecake, both were delicious! read more

Horrible service!!!! No line so we went in instead of Starbucks. That was our mistake. Every time we ordered an item the guy rudely said "Anything else". I said yes we're ordering multiple items yet he kept saying it as if we were bothering him. We paid for syrup got one pump in a large drink. One of the breakfast sandwiches did not come out and he completely ignored me as I tried to ask for it. Then I asked his name and he said I didn't need his name. DON'T waste your time or money here. Decent place to pop in for a scoop of gelato if you're at Mandalay Bay. Got myself a scoop of birthday cake which was blue with red cake pieces. Definitely hit the spot after a long day! $7 is indeed overkill for ice cream, but it's the minimum for ice cream on the Strip... read more
Cocolini is one of those places that are located throughout Las Vegas in a bunch of different casinos and is the perfect place to stop and get some Gelato on the go. I stopped at this Mandalay Bay location about a month ago with my fiancee after checking out a convention center going on that day. It was around 1PM and the place had a small line, but my hankering for gelato meant I was willing to wait and it was worth waiting a few minutes for. I ended up getting two scoops of gelato in a cup, the first being stracciatella which I honestly don't fully know what it is, but its absolutely delicious and one of my favourite gelato flavours. My second scoop was the regular mint chocolate chip. Both flavours were solid, although not exactly a 'best gelato" contender. It was creamy and had some flavour, but ultimately falls on the average scale. Overall, Cocolini is a solid place to stop and get some gelato, but probably not something you'll be reflecting on after you eat it. Worth checking out? If you want some gelato and you are at the Luxor or Mandalay Bay, sure, why not, but don't go out of your way for it. read more

The gelato tastes wayyy better than the gelato spot in Bellagio. My kids love their strawberry sorbet and I loved the strawberry truffle. The next day we tried their crepes. We prefer their bottled apple juice & gelato over the crepes. read more

Cocolini was a GREAT unexpected find by one of the entrances of the casino. It looked far too tempting to pass up. I've never seen a larger selection of gelato in my entire life. Sampling is usually encouraged, but the COVID regulations prevented sampling during my visit. I opted for a chocolate cone, and it was AWESOME!!!! It was the perfect treat for a hot Las Vegas day. Prices were very reasonable by Las Vegas standards, and service was very friendly and professional. read more
