If I had a nickel for every time I had a non-French crepe at a Vegas-area business named "Paris" in the past couple of months, I'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Paris Crepe is a new spot in the cavernous space that is the food court of the Galleria at Sunset mall. They have lots of sweet or savory crepe options, a few salads, and some espresso drinks. Water is bottled only and also costs money though, so it's a good thing I brought my own. After a few minutes of cookery involving a crepe maker and a flattop grill, my order was ready, and I found a seat nearby. I had the Turkish Crepe ($16.99). The crepe was a little more golden brown in some spots than others but generally seemed cooked properly. My choice of steak was actually pretty tender and free from connective stringy stuff. The filling was pretty creamy despite not having cheese, most likely due to hummus and some garlic mayo that didn't taste at all like mayo. The potatoes, spinach, and sautéed onions added a lot of depth. The za'atar spice blend may have just been dusted on top but still provided a lot of flavor. Paris Crepe was actually quite good, especially for a mall spot. It is also not the greatest and is certainly pricier for some menu items than other Henderson crepe spots. Definitely check them out if you're in the area, but don't drive across town for it.

I ordered a small Mediterranean salad for $5.99. It is more like a large and very delicious! This place is a gem!

Absolutely loved this crepe spot inside the Galleria at Sunset! The savory steak and mushroom crepe was packed with flavor and perfectly made, and the strawberry, banana Nutella crepe was the ideal sweet treat to finish the meal. Everything was made fresh, and you can really taste the quality. It's definitely worth the wait for such a delicious, satisfying lunch. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the mall!

I was so extremely excited to visit this shop. We saw a Filipino vlogger visit their new branch in…read morethe Philippines, and when they mentioned that their OG spot was in Vegas, I knew we had to make a special stop the next time we were around the area. We made sure to get a couple of their specialty coffees--the Turon Brulee Latte and the Ferrero Latte, and then one of their more regular coffees, the Ube Latte. All of them were a hit! Every single one of the cloud foams on the coffee lattes we had were sooooo incredibly creamy and delicious, and tasted exactly like they should. If I were to choose one favorite out of the ones we got though, mine would be the Turon Brulee Latte. That banana and jackfruit puree they have on there was just pure perfection. It went so well with that bold coffee flavor without completely overpowering it, and it wasn't overly sweet. It definitely tasted like the traditional Filipino dessert in coffee latte form! One thing of note--their coffee tasted DIVINE. It was smooth and mellow with a great punch of toastiness to it. I'm a huge fan of coffee shops who roast their own coffee beans so that in and of itself was already a winner for me. But after tasting their coffee? Hands down, just a great experience overall. Ambiance was great--I loved the art they had on the walls and red ram figures they had on the tables. The place was very clean and it's somewhere you'd want to stay and chill at while enjoying your coffee and/or pastry of choice. Service was impeccable--the barista who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. She even gave her own recommendations and made sure our coffees were all made to our liking. We also even met one of the owners, Mr. Armand! He was so very nice and sweet. We love an owner who's hands on and we were pretty lucky to meet him during our visit. I'm already looking forward to the next time we're able to come back here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

So they have a sign up that says if you give them 5 stars on Yelp and show them the review within 3…read moredays, they will give you a free coffee. But I have been here three times and every time I have tried to order, it took SO DAMN LONG to get my coffee, that I just can't in good faith, leave a 5 star review. Every time I have gone in, there's one person doing everything, taking the orders, making food and making coffees. That's certainly not fair to your staff for one, who probably don't make much money and it's STRESSFUL when you're working as fast as you can, but people are waiting who haven't had their coffee. I spent 25 minutes waiting the first time and almost 40 minutes the second time (40 minutes!!!) and the last time I walked in, saw a packed cafe and NO ONE had coffee in front of them - so I just walked out. The coffee was just okay too, it wasn't hot enough the second time I went and my friends coffee had the wrong milk in it and she couldn't drink it. You can be 2 of these things to be successful: if your coffee is expensive, you need fast service and delicious coffee. You can have slow service, but it needs to be well priced and tasty. But you CANNOT have high prices, mediocre coffee AND slow service. This explains the 'give us a 5* review and show us' trick they need to do, because otherwise people like myself aren't going to go back. There are so many other great coffee places around - if you're in a rush don't go here. The atomosphere is too quiet too, you can hear everyones conversation if anyone is having a conversation. There's no music/background lofi on or anything and it's a TINY cafe. It's a little uncomfortable actually, although it does look beautiful and whimsical and cute. I can't speak on the food, I never got to try and and based on my previous experiences - I won't be either.

I love this place! It has never disappointed me!…read more The pastries, the food, the service, and the ambiance are exceptional! I love the galette, the crepes, and I could just keep going... I also love all the locations! Sad they closed the one at Lake Las Vegas but I understand. I bring all my friends while they visit and they're also very pleased! Although they've expanded, I wouldn't be shocked if there was a wait. Don't worry, it's worth it!

CREPES, COFFEE AND MORE…read more.. I went to this French cafe over a week ago to try to get a crepe to go. It was not overly busy. It's very casual and easy to order at the counter and go. Think again. I got through the line quickly. Placed my order and watched everyone around me receive their food, dine and leave within 30 minutes all while I was still standing at the front waiting for 1 gluten free crepe with fruit. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I asked the cashier if she remembered me and she said my order would be ready momentarily. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

They just seem to know what makes coffee Work…read more Public Works is a coffee bar that has called Henderson's Water Street home for years and years. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.
