The food was so yummy :) pretty view, owner was so nice. The baked goods are insanely good.

Missing sausage in the Avventuroso Breakfast Platter
Vivian C.

I wish I liked this place, but aside from the lakeside view and friendly girl at the register, it's pretty disappointing. The iced matcha didn't taste like matcha at all; it basically tasted like drinking sugary almond milk. It was so bad, I just left it completely full on the table with a note to self to never order a matcha there again. The French toast was decent, but I wouldn't say it's something I'd want to order again, especially for that price; I was expecting better for the cost. Breakfast platter was disappointing. A heated up frozen hash brown, a waffle that looks just like the kind you get at a budget hotel continental breakfast. The egg would've been okay if it weren't for the fact that it came out exactly the way I told them I didn't want it. I specifically said I wanted a completely cooked through egg with no runny yolk; instead, the yolk was runny and made a mess when my kids ate them. Oh, and they completely left out the sausage that was supposed to come with the platter. And when I tried to call about the missing sausage in the order, no one answered both times. The salad dressing tasted like it was just a regular bottle of grocery store dressing, but not in a good way. My husband's latte was no good. I actually can't believe that literally everything was bad (or missing), with the exception of the French toast which was mediocre and overpriced. All I can say is: bring back Cafe du Lac!

Stopped in for some breakfast with the family. This place has a beautiful view of lake las Vegas as it sits right on the water. It has indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor is infested with pigeons who have left their mark on the outside tables. The ladies working here were very sweet. The food and coffee as ok. Not bad but also not great. Slightly overpriced but with the lack of breakfast options on the lake, it gets the job done.

Wow! Definitely worth the time to visit this spot in The Villages! We came for coffee and breakfast and it does not disappoint! Great Italian espresso and fresh pastries. Helpful and polite staff with a quaint patio overlooking the water! They have an excellent menu offering full breakfast and lunch! Food, service and atmosphere are all A+ Put this one on your list when you are in the area!

97° weather , and the man decided to close the umbrellas down because there was too much wind , a breeze yes but not windy enough to say it will fall or tio over at all. I came here for Mother's Day, food was okay not the best , tasted frozen, best part was the bacon out of the entire meal. What irritated me the most was the fact that they were not at all attentive to cleaning up the tables when customers were done. We got there mind you we drove almost an hour to get there, we got there ordered, then had to stand for them to even notice that we were standing waiting, the man asked what we were waiting for I said "a table because the one with shade is dirty , do you mind cleaning it please " he did but from what it looked like an act of attitude proceeded to close the umbrella , leaving now no seats with shade? ? Again 97° weather on Mother's Day

Absolutely awesome, great Italian cafe on Lake Las Vegas, best coffee in the village. The pastry's and breakfast was outstanding. Service truly Italian which makes it one if a kind.

Da Remo has a lot going for it--mainly the view. Nestled in a scenic spot on Lake Las Vegas, this breakfast spot offers a stunning backdrop that's perfect for a leisurely morning. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite match the setting. The menu is underwhelming, with offerings that feel uninspired and lacking in flavor. For a place with such a prime location, I expected dishes as memorable as the view, but everything we ordered was just...meh. Nothing stood out, and the lack of creativity in the menu was disappointing-also out of so many items. If you're looking for a great place to sip coffee and soak in the scenery, Da Remo works. But if you're hoping for a standout breakfast, you might want to look elsewhere.

Da Remo is a small bakery/coffee shop in the lake Las Vegas Village that provides fresh pastries, sandwiches and coffee drinks. Each of the barista's that I dealt with the week that I was there were very inviting and open to making my difficult lattes. There are a few tables inside, but most of their seating is alfresco outside on the patio overlooking the lake. Most days I got the white chocolate latte with amaretto, and I also tried their quiche, croissants, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was very tasty and I would definitely recommend this coffee shop if you were in the lake Las Vegas area.

If you want a view by the Lake while sipping a coffee, this is a great venue. My boyfriend and I went here for brunch. The lady who took our orders at the counter was personable and friendly. The menu had enough of a selection for me and him both! We sat outside, where we saw wild birds trying to eat breadcrumbs off of tables , which made me laugh but that could be off putting for some. I might recommend to this business to more frequently clear & wipe down the outside tables for this reason. Some customers might not be as amused by the birds as I was. Apart from that, the mango smoothie we got was flavorful. The salad fantastic. The apple pastry amazing. My boyfriend liked his omlette. My sandwich was good - a tad of a flat flavor profile. But no complaints because of such a pretty views & most restaurants fall into the just good category. The lady who worked there brought our food out to us and was very kind. She has fantastic customer service skills! :-) I apologize I don't remember her name! I would come here again.

Mocha Latte Macchiato

Five star today...owner took our order and a wonderful service delivered our cofees and food. Avocado toast and French toast with fresh berries fit the brekkie bill to day. My mocha cappuccino was one of the best I've had...anywhere. A definite upgrade in service and food from our last visit. We will be back.

Quaint casual breakfast and brunch spot at beautiful Lake Las Vegas. The food was delicious (pictures attached). We sat outside and wasn't hot yet because it was so early. Food came out quickly. Too many birds there but that's not the restaurant's fault. It's in the same venue that use to be a French place that closed sometime ago. We will be back

This place has GREAT coffee! I actively look for places that have great coffee and it tends to be hit or miss! I got a cappuccino from this place and it was very smooth and the coffee was strong! I also got avocado toast from this place as well and it tasted amazing. I would drive out here again just for the coffee and breakfast. The guy who is working here is super cool and you're right on the water so the ambience is on point as well

This was so good and was also quick (breakfast spots can sometimes take forever). With that being said, I will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy the full experience. My wife, my kids, and I all loved it and for the first time in my life, I actually ordered more things to bring home and ate them later that night. I will go here anytime I am in the area and it is worth going out of your way for! I wish I would have taken pics, but I had the creme brûlée (not sure if it was a croissant or danish), my kids had the bueno croissant and my wife had the almond croissant. I also got the lemon tart to go. Quick note, as others have mentioned, it isn't cheap. You are paying for an authentic and quality experience that is well worth it, but don't go here thinking you're going to get out for a couple bucks, this isn't a donut shop :)

Yelp! review #20 of 2026 Online order April 04…read more I stopped by the 85°C Bakery Cafe in Henderson (673 N Stephanie St) to pick up a birthday cake for a friend, and it also served a dual purpose for a class assignment on experiencing Filipino food. We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

CREPES, COFFEE AND MORE…read more.. I went to this French cafe over a week ago to try to get a crepe to go. It was not overly busy. It's very casual and easy to order at the counter and go. Think again. I got through the line quickly. Placed my order and watched everyone around me receive their food, dine and leave within 30 minutes all while I was still standing at the front waiting for 1 gluten free crepe with fruit. There was a sign up front that asked guests to be prepared to wait longer times so I really tried to be patient. I waited. After 40 minutes still standing up front I still had no crepe. I asked the cashier if she remembered me and she said my order would be ready momentarily. I took a closer look at the order and noticed that the gluten free crepe was buckwheat batter of which when I ordered they didn't make mention of this. Due to my allergies and sensitivity I had to wait again to speak with someone else who appeared to be managing, perhaps the owner. He claimed they make their own batter and brought out the bag of buckwheat flour. Then read on google the ingredients. I really thought a gluten free crepe was mainly made of alternative flour such as coconut flour--not here. I also pulled up this information however I did not want to take a risk. He told the cashier at the counter to issue me a refund and he turned back around to make more coffee orders. I overall felt like I had wasted my time here. I used to take my kids here and haven't been here since they remodeled and expanded. I was by myself and really just wanted something to eat but was not offered anything else. That part upset me the most. Then my refund took a week long. Really thought the refund should have been immediately. The cafe is really cute! I love the decor and feel in here but just really disappointed in this whole experience and not the best quality of customer service. Located on Horizon Ridge Parkway in Green Valley.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant is thoughtfully decorated, spotless, and has a warm, welcoming feel that immediately makes you comfortable. The staff was exceptional--friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Our waters were never empty, our food arrived quickly, hot, and beautifully plated, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the Nico's Gyro with feta fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The gyro was packed with flavor, the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the feta fries were the perfect indulgent side. One friend ordered the Theo Salad, which looked incredible, and another had the Souvlaki Platter. Everything that came to the table looked phenomenal, and the portions were impressively generous. You definitely get a lot of food for your money here. Beyond the food, I was also impressed by their beverage selection. While I didn't try any of the drinks this visit, they offer a variety of unique coffees, juices, and specialty beverages that looked fantastic. And then there were the desserts. Our server mentioned that many of them are imported, and they looked absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be making another trip back just to sample a few of them. It's hard to beat a family-owned restaurant that delivers on every level--fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, outstanding service, a beautiful atmosphere, and an impressive selection of drinks and desserts. If I had known they use that much I would've said no feta cheese. They did try to make it right by bringing me a dessert which I really didn't care for because it tasted a little bit stale however, when the lady brought me that I told her I would just keep it and pick the cheese up cause I was hungry. She said she would ask the chef I think most places would've just redone it but she said she had to ask plus it was getting late and I didn't wanna wait but it kind of turned me off that she said, let me go ask the chef so I was like no just forget it. Edited to say: Saying it was near closing is not true my daughter had a dress rehearsal and I could look up the exact time but I'm pretty sure I dropped her off before 5:30 PM and that is not your closing time and the waitress did say to me she had to ask you and I told her just forget it. I did not think it was OK for someone to say let me go ask the chef she should've just said that they would fix it but she didn't. She said they had to ask first and I am not lying about that which is another reason I will not return because now I had to see your response and go in here and edit it. And I just checked and her rehearsal started at 5:15 PM and I came in I would say maybe five or 10 minutes after that so that is not closing time.

Lindsay, my sister, sent me pictures months ago showing me what she wanted and those pictures were sent to Darlene. Very simple, no frills, black, flat top, chocolate cake with smooth sides. Ive seen the pictures on her site,so I know she could do this. If she couldn't, she shouldve done a practice run and at least given Lindsay more than a few hours notice before dropping a bomb on what should be the happiest day of someones life. This is so insanely unprofessional! Honestly, a refund is not even enough for doing that to someone on their wedding day! I spent the day before the wedding calling every single bakery in Las Vegas, willing to pay double to get her something to be able to cut with her husband on her happy day and it was too short of notice. Not only did Darlene not apologize, she tried to pass off a bulbous, over decorated cake that looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture, saying "here's your gorgeous cake". When Lindsay expressed that it wasnt even remotely close to what they discussed, she took no accountability, offered no solution and simply said, "it can't be changed, sweetheart". Upon further conversations, she said she would "try" to make something else. At $350 for flour and sugar, it should look exactly like the picture. It honestly probably took more work to make what she presented than what Lindsay actually wanted. As a small business owner myself, I know mistakes happen, but I also know the importance of customer service, making things right and taking accountability. Word to the wise, maybe do a test run first to ensure your wedding day isn't ruined if you choose to work with Darlene.
