It's been my go to Starbucks since they've opened. The drinks are pretty consistent and if they're not, they're eager to fix it. It's a great place to bring your laptop and work. Our neighborhood women's coffee group has hosted meet ups here - while we all enjoy a cup of coffee, of course. I love the outdoor seating and the indoor long community table. We just got DoorDash to work & who ever package up the order put the two grilled cheese sandwiches in with the drinks which spilt into the bag causing the bottom of the Starbucks bag to get wet along with the bags our grilled cheese sandwiches were in....why wouldn't you put those & the crumb cake in a separate bag from the drinks??? Separate food from the drinks??? 1 Star for packaging. We didn't even get cute messages written on our drink cups like other Starbucks do......boohoo 2 Stars for not being fun. My ice coffee was darker than normal with my "splash of HWC" so I had to add a little extra Stevia in it...tastes better now. Chad liked his Frappuccino said "it was delicious!" It is hard to believe that the new Cadence Starbucks is over a year old. And it is not hard to believe that I have made memories here on three occasions within the short time that it has been open. I am a fan of parks. When I visit the parks in the shadow of the River Mountains, Lake Las Vegas, and within the Cadence Master Planned Community I enjoy stopping here. Before this Starbucks was built, I remember the closest ones being by the Galleria Mall and a kiosk in Albertsons. This Starbucks is in a neat location where it is an equivalent walk to the Smith's Marketplace (one of two in the Las Vegas Valley) and the Lake Mead Parkway Trail which leads into the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Being that this is a new location in an equally brand new shopping center, it is an upbeat spot to perk up with Starbucks. With more newly planted trees than businesses in the shopping center, it is relatively easy to find a parking spot. The nicely laid out drive-thru is also easy if you want to grab coffee on the go. My parking spot of choice are the spaces overlooking the drive-thru. Inside, the Cadence Starbucks is modern and comfortable. Just like finding a parking space, it is easy to find a table. My favorite place to sit is outside on the spacious patio. In similar fashion to the Cadence community, the desert paradise landscaping that extends to the Lake Mead Parkway Trail, is attractive. Speaking of the Lake Mead Parkway, I have hopped onto it after perking up with Starbucks where I enjoy hours-long adventures walking the landscaped trails and parks that Cadence offers. If I want a beverage for the walk, or need to do some shopping, the Smith's Marketplace is a short walk away. In the patio, I have seen locals socializing, with some of them in the company of their fur babies. In a day and age where it is becoming more common for corporate businesses to give customer service the index finger salute with kiosks and cashless only transactions, I appreciate the friendly service that the Cadence Starbucks provides. Of course, I also appreciate the quality coffee that they serve. Recently, Starbucks has gone back to offering mugs. Regardless that some people say that Starbucks is expensive, $2.87 for a refillable tall coffee is reasonable. I have also started to appreciate their toasted bagel with butter, which costs $2.95. On one of my three visits here I ordered it. With inflation $6.07 is not bad for a breakfast. It is hard to believe that the brand new Cadence Starbucks is over a year old. Yet, it is not hard to believe that I will be returning to it as it ages gracefully with the Cadence Master Planned Community. read more

What an awesome recommendation by PAGE. I came in on a hot day and wanted a pick me up and I'm on this low carb, no sugar kick.... This location seems to be more focused on the extensive drive thru traffic as opposed to walk-ins like me. Barely any eye contact, and virtually no acknowledgement of the walk-in standing at the cash register (I didn't want to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru line). Thank goodness for a manager stepping in with her tablet. Otherwise, I would've been completely ignored. Oh well. The service is excellent!! The ambiance is nice and relaxing. We ordered my nephew mango dragon lemonade flavor and he loved it!! We got my daughter favorite drink that is the pink drink. They both deserve this nice treat in the morning for their amazing work at school. Perfect reward for kids by the end of the week!! The only thing I will say is make sure you are not in a rush when you come to this store, because it does take a lot of time for them to give you the order. Greetings and Salutations! Last year on December 05, I received probably the BEST example of customer service from Melany, it was truly glorious, above and beyond any expectations. This happened at my regular store located at 835 Lake Mead Pkwy, Henderson, NV (Lake Mead & Warm Springs). It is not uncommon for the mornings to be hard-pressed with the drive thru customers, not to mention the flow of mobile orders. My routine (Ok. I admit it's mundane!) is to go directly to the cash registers and place my order, which is a Grande Nitro (best drink by the way), and then wait for my order. Alas, it was not to be, for it was far too bustling for any associate to detect my presence, dawdling at the front counter. A pair of sentinels were faithfully present at their respective back counter stations, and yet I eluded their vigilant gaze. Melany, however, as she ALWAYS does, took notice of my nihilistic lingering, and placed it upon herself to go out of her way, and service my order for me. She has done this for me literally dozens of times, even when she is not stationed at the front counter. If I am being ignored at the cash registers, she will stop whatever she is doing, even tasked with other chores, to ensure I get my drink. She will manifest kindness, contributing to the happiness and well-being of others, with a genuine smile and a happy spirit every single time. I genuinely appreciate the hard work of all the team members who work here but the manager is horrible! Who thinks it's a great idea to have a meeting with three other baristas in the middle of the morning rush? While 6 people worked hard to not only do drive thru orders but walk ins and mobile orders. And sadly corporate thinks it's a great idea to not only make this a single drive thru but it's a double. Shame on the general manager to think it's totally okay to not help her own team when they are clearly busy. I placed an online order said it would take about 14 min being the longest time. Showed up and had to wait 15 more minutes for my items. If this is the new direction Starbucks is heading to I would rather just continue to support small coffee shops than this type of leadership. I have been a regular at this location since it is close to the park that my son has soccer practice. I recommend ordering in the app and doing pickup. My order is finished in 5 minutes on average. You can pick up in the drive through or inside. They have a nice seating area if you want to wait or hang out inside. Staff is always quick and my order is always correct. They have clean bathrooms as well that require a number code to get in. Ask someone at the register for the code and then you can get in. Heads up: Google Maps has two locations listed for this Starbucks: 845 E Lake Mead Pkwy and 835 E Lake Mead Pkwy. Only the second one (835) is correct. Yelp! also has the same problem. Two listings for the same Starbucks. I'm told they're fixing it as we speak (Google and Yelp!) so by the time someone else reads this review, this may be fixed. So, to get here, when you see Smith's (a grocery store), this Starbucks is at the end of their parking lot. So this Starbucks is actually at the crossroads of Warm Springs and Lake Mead. The staff is good, coffee is too. Nice people! NOTE: One unfortunate, giant problem with the dining area....is that there is a NOTICEABLE, strong off-gassing of their brand new furniture. It's all pressed wood furniture. VOCs, that is what is being given off. And the VOC that is present: formaldehyde. And formaldehyde is *carcinogenic.* It causes cancer. When I walked in, I smelled formaldehyde immediately. It's not a faint odor -- it is heavy, and VERY distinct. Once you smell formaldehyde, you never forget what it smells like. You may be familiar with it from the odor you smelled when you and your lab partner dissected a fetal pig in High School. Remember that smell...? That's formaldehyde. At first, I thought it might be a cleaner they used. So I asked the Staff what they used to clean with, and it wasn't filled with formaldehyde. Which of course makes sense; formaldehyde is not a cleaning product. I couldn't imagine why else I was smelling formaldehyde though, so that was my first guess. Then, I turned around and walked towards the furniture....aaaand the smell only got stronger. Way stronger. So that's where the smell was coming from -- mystery solved. The furniture is giving off tons of VOCs. Specifically, VOCs from formaldehyde. Note: pressed wood products frequently are made with formaldehyde. And as a result, they come with Prop 65 Warnings....because formaldehyde is carcinogenic. For those who are unaware, Prop 65 Warnings are placed on items that exceed safety standards. Astoundingly, due to a loophole, manufacturers are allowed to sell you toxic items "as long as they tell the public" that their item is toxic. Disturbing, to say the least! And....there's *a lot* of that furniture in that small, enclosed space. A lot. The Workers are who I worry about most here -- they cannot escape the formaldehyde VOCs. And since formaldehyde is carcinogenic, Starbucks is putting the health and the very lives of its Workers at risk. All to save a penny or two on their furniture expense. Starbucks may save a penny or two now, but a Class Action lawsuit from their Workers who have their health irreparably damaged would be a much, much larger bill. Formaldehyde is *proven* to cause cancer. So there is no truly safe level of formaldehyde; it always causes problems. The only way to limit its damage is through limiting your exposure to it. Always remember: formaldehyde is not just used in making furniture. It is used in laboratories to preserve the bodies of dead animals. It preserves formerly living things (dead human bodies, too). Know that headache, nausea, and feeling like my lungs were burning...was what I felt within a short time of standing there. Not a good feeling. So, I personally recommend the drive-thru -- but AVOID the inside! Hey Starbucks, are you listening? Your **DISASTROUS** furniture choice is a problem. You're harming your Workers and your Patrons with that furniture! Shame on you!! Truly disappointed. So I'm giving 1 star because Starbucks needs to take notice -- and fix this issue. **Immediately.** Those poor Workers!! read more
