I wound up giving this place a try since I had a T-Mobile Tuesday offer that I couldn't pass up. Specifically for a buy one get one situation. I don't often ever come to Jamba as I don't have one close to the house or work. But thankfully, I was driving by in the area when I realized it was there. So I took the opportunity to try it out. I tried two strawberry banana smoothies. However, the ordering experience wasn't exactly smooth but it wasn't the fault of the people that work there. When I got there I realized that the deal required using the app. I confirm this with the girl behind the counter. It took me a while to register for the app, make my order, and then sit there and wait. Then wait, and wait, and wait. Eventually after about 20 minutes I figured I got bored watching media on my phone sitting in the restaurant. Nobody announced anything at the counter and one of the girls even passed me to go to the back bathroom or something and then back to the counter. We're the two of them head back there for a while talking to each other. Eventually I got up and looked back and they were looking at me chatting with each other as if they were wondering what is the strange man doing in the store. Apparently, they completely forgot about the conversation we briefly had at the register 20 minutes before that about my using the app to make an order. Eventually I got one of them to come out and I said I was waiting on my order where she acted surprised and said she didn't know why was there. Meanwhile, the two smoothies were sitting in the back in a fridge or something the whole time. That made for a very odd and awkward situation. I can definitely say that I wouldn't come back here as that was just beyond weird. I think I'll stick to my normal smoothie spots and avoid Jamba in the future. Personally like this location since it's walking distance from mi casa. Every time I have gone, the workers have been cool, welcoming and pretty quick in making my drinks. The interior is pretty decent. I feel like that at this location, I never seem to have to wait, they always knock out the lines and then get to making the drinks. They offer food like sweet and savory pastries, plus they have a ton of hot or cold snacks. I personally love their pretzels. Jamba holds a special place in my heart since it was my first real "job" while in high school. I like the fact that they don't add any sweetners in their juices/smoothies/bowls. This is our go to spot after a hard workout at the gym. The bowls are very filling and packed with nutrition. I have many favorites, but to name a few, it's the Orange Carrot Fusion (has greek yogurt and chia seeds), the Acai berry bowl, and when I just feel like fruits and veggies, I get the juice.
