This place is incredible. So many delicious looking options that it was hard to choose what I wanted to eat. Everything we ordered was awesome. Super affordable prices too. I'm definitely coming back.

Cute breakfast joint in Boulder City. Service was fast and friendly, no complaints about the food at all! I ordered the country fried steak, which was a big portion and tasted great. My favorite part of the breakfast was actually the toast though, it was thick and pillowy! The perfect piece of toast to go along with the coffee :)

I finally stopped here for breakfast! It has gotten real popular since it was featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. There was a line but got seated quickly since it was just me...the counter moves faster! My server was Danielle - even though they were busy she was super attentive. Actually everyone working the counter was great & cheerful. I always think the owners must be good to their staff when literary everyone working is smiling. I got the country omelette with the gravy on the side & coffee. The jalapeno peppers gave it a nice little punch of flavor. Highly recommend...so glad I finally stopped in!

What a great place!! The place was packed, figured it was the best restaurant in town. We only waited a short 15 mins but there was plenty of waiting seats and a server even came by and got us drinks. The service was top notch!!! Everyone was so polite and just made us feel very welcome. There was a tv inside, which I love, and we got seated right in front of it!! No booths but a quaint ambiance. The food came very quickly and was delicious!!! Everyone should hit this place up on the way to Hoover Dam or Lake Mead!!! We will be back!!

It's just a pleasure having breakfast or lunch at this very historic diner. Never disappoints. Tried the fish and chips this time and they were delicious. Always plentiful servings of fries. Atmosphere is very American. A must go to in Boulder City minutes to Hoover Dam. Still highly recommended. Service and staff are always top notch.

They had a very extensive menu, so we all tried something different. Western omelette, build your own omelette and chili cheese dog burrito. All food was excellent! We also got mimosas, they were served in large water glasses, filled to the brim! I was so happy we finally got over there to try it. It definitely has that local mom and pop feel to it, yet another plus!

Love the interior decor especially during December this is my first time here we've never been inside before the times we come it's usually closed. The prices are very fairly priced and the pastries are made fresh daily. And they look amazing . The nitro cold brew with lavender is absolutely insane the lavender is so strong with i personally love the almond bear claw is next level. The staff was polite the place is very clean smells amazing and it's very warming and cozy. Love the place I'll be back for sure sooner than later. Keep up the hard work it shows.!!

We stopped in for some breakfast, had the breakfast tacos - & the kahuna burger that was mentioned on the food network. I liked the French fries that came with the burger so much! As for the burger itself, it was good a slip & slider for sure because of the pineapple & sauce. Bf loved his breakfast tacos, second time hes ordered them. I love the ambiance in there.. like a cracker barrel vibe with many things to look at. Will be back again! Service was good & we were in and out quickly.

All stop here for the best "dam cup of coffee !"

The crowds, always crowds around this establishment! Wow it looks amazing! We are not even sure what's happening and all the fun and happy here ! Let's check it out ! The fun starts outside and to see that this is a great place to eat and enjoy together . How special! Since its inspection in 1994, they serve American eats and drinks. In fact it's the best Dam cup of coffee too. It's family owned . It obvious that it's great . It's so busy after you order you hear the order when it's ready over the loud speaker. How epic ? If you can, only by chance get a spot outside to dine it's great to watch all the bikes and cars that come across the street. Located on Main Street, this is the spot that they all stop and share their stories at. What an incredible experience here? We are outsiders and get involved it's very exciting. The coffee will make it all worth it . How about the decor of this place? Stickers from all over they paint a picture of the peace and harmony that indicates the stories others have shared here. So much rich history. Come and check it out.

This spot is perfect for homey comfort foods! Please take into consideration wait times may be long. (I went on a weekend table for 2 was about a 35min wait.) luckily they have a bar where you can order mimosas and bloody Mary's from while you wait! The omelette here was delish.

My go to breakfast spot in Boulder right in the heart of the downtown area. The food is always great and I love the cute mugs. The bathroom is clean which I always appreciate. They are very popular so there is usually a wait. The service is friendly and efficient. You never feel rushed but they still get your food out quickly so you can get on with your day and your adventures.

Waffles are okay but the onion rings are out of this world crunchy and fresh. The staff is courteous and the coffee refills are FAST! Quaint place to enjoy a good breakfast.

If you visit Hoover Dam, do yourself and have breakfast or lunch at The Coffee Cup Cafe in Boulder City. If you're coming from Vegas, skip the freeway that goes around Boulder City - it's a short compromise but you'll thank me if you have a meal in this cute little town. We had brunch here before visiting Hoover Dam and it was great! It has a classic diner vibe with a very friendly home town kind of feeling. We were seated within a few minutes of our arrival and spent some time looking over the extensive menu. We learned one of their house specialties was the corned beef hash and our served, when asked, said she likes it crispy. I ordered the "Short on cash" plate - 1 pancake, 1 strip of bacon and 1 egg and a side of their corned beef hash (crispy). My wife ordered the waffle with banana along with the corned beef hash and 2 eggs. The food was delicious, prices very reasonable, and service was very good. I have no hesitation recommending a meal at the Coffee Cup Cafe.

Let me just say that I don't frequent Starbucks or the other big coffee chains on a daily basis…read morehowever, I love a good cup of coffee especially when I know its from Colorado River Coffee Roasters. I was first turned on to CRCR by good friend and former owner of Bread and Butter Chris Herrin. A few months later while dining at Eat in downtown, I enjoyed that same delicious smooth cuppa joe,(unfortunatey, both B&B and Eat no longer use them) and knowing that they were in Boulder City, I knew one of these days I HAD TO go straight to the source. Pulling up to their storefront, it looks like nothing from the outside but as you enter, the smell of roasting coffee beans hit you like WOW!!! We met Don and Erik Anderson who are responsible for making some of the most delicious coffee you will have ever tasted(if you haven't yet). They were even nice enough to give us a little behind the scenes tour and explain their delicate roasting process using state of the art equipment (infrared heat, not open fire) and even offered tips on how to enjoy their product in the best possible way. We decided to grab a bag of one of Eirk's favorite blends-Bolivia: Amor De Dios, a 12 ounce bag for $10. If you're looking for a specific characteristic, flavor, etc. they have other blends available and Erik will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. If you haven't had a taste of Colorado River Coffee Roasters, places like Grouchy John's, Great Harvest Bread Company, and Sambalatte have their own blends from CRCR that they serve up. You may also purchase coffee from CRCR online which will be delivered right to your doorstep, or better yet, take a drive to Boulder City and go straight to the source and get an even fresher product! Here are some helpful tips that Erik and Don suggested: COFFEE: DO NOT grind the beans fine...a coarse grind is suggested WATER: DO NOT boil your water!... 200 degrees Farenheit... no higher! EQUIPMENT: No fancy equipment/gadgets here- a FRENCH PRESS is their weapon of choice, and how Erik and Don enjoy the fruits of their labor.... DOSAGE: Start with an equal ratio of 1 gram beans to 1 gram water and steep for 4 minutes...if it isn't strong enough, increase the beans to your liking STORAGE: Store beans in a cool, dark place....DO NOT refrigerate or freeze!!! BEST BY: Enjoy within 1 MONTH of purchase Erik and Don have also been chosen as one of the top seeded companies to compete later this year on the National level in Seattle with the best in the country. Best of luck to Erik and Don who have single handedly put Nevada on the coffee map, and forget the big chains....BUY LOCAL!!!! ALOHA!!!

We used to come here and not mind the food, but after both a recent takeout order and this dine-in visit, we won't be coming back. He ordered the club sandwich with fries, and I got the chicken and waffles. Starting with the club, this was honestly shocking. It came with a single slice of ham (about 1 cm thick) cut into four pieces and placed on each quarter of the sandwich. No turkey like a typical club, and only a small half piece of bacon per section. It was basically bread with minimal filling. The fries had good seasoning, but they were completely soggy, which ruined them. My chicken and waffles were even worse. It was served with ranch instead of syrup, which was odd right off the bat. The waffle itself was dense and very bready. The chicken tenders were extremely overcooked--hard, stale, and honestly difficult to bite into. There was more breading than chicken, and the texture inside was so rubbery it was hard to eat. I've genuinely had better frozen chicken. To sum it up, both of our meals felt like we were just eating a ton of bread. We both felt gross almost immediately after eating. I do want to make it clear that this has nothing to do with the service. Our server was incredibly sweet and clearly doing her best. However, there were only two servers working a completely full restaurant on a weekend morning. We counted roughly 20 tables per server, which is honestly unreasonable and a recipe for burnout. That's on management, not the staff. The only positive was that the aguas frescas had free refills. Overall, really disappointing. Between the poor food quality and repeated bad experiences, we won't be returning.

There are about 3 small tables outside and about 5-6 tables inside. Each one can sit only about 2-3 people, so unless you are picking up to go, this won't work for a large group. The decor was fun and colorful. The kitchen area had a lot of open/extra space so I'm guessing this was a bakery before and the new owners didn't remodel much to keep the cost to open down. They could probably get another 4+ tables in here if they did. Not a negative, just an observation. The menu was filled with interesting stuff. We landed on 3 very different things. There was a sweet potato bowl on the menu that looked tasty, and while reviewing the menu I watched one get delivered to a table and it looked delicious and it was ENORMOUS! I wasn't sure I wanted to each that much so I went with a chicken wrap, my wife ordered a pizza, and my sister in law ordered a "small" salad. We decided to sit outside and they brought us our food and a sample of the soup of the day as a complementary treat (or it was included with our orders, not 100% sure) the soup was a ham/lentil/bacon recipe and it was delicious. My wrap was pretty tasty too, it could have used something to add crunch, maybe wonton strips or something like that. The flavor was great though. My wife's pizza was a bit too cheesy and slightly undercooked, but it was still tasty. If we ordered that again I'd probably ask they cooked it a couple minutes longer. The "small" salad was HUGE! I can't imagine what the large is like and I can't believe the price for what you get there. It looked amazing and fresh. My sister in law said it was very good. Overall I do think they have a couple things to work on but I loved the experience and I would come again if I was in the area. It was an incredible value for the quality of the food and that's why I'm still giving them 5 stars. For about $35 it was an absolute steal for 3 people.
