The inside if my sub. It was very week served
Judith M.

Came back to Coo Coo's after a very long, overdue time for their frapp! This time I got a caramel frapp, a chunky monkey for my husband, an Italian sub lunch combo and a cup of tortilla soup. The place was busy, like it usually is, but it is worth the wait! The location has stayed the same for the most part, a small family, locally owned restaurant that deserves all the business they get! If you're looking for a frapp, smoothie, coffee drink- come to this location. Though their options might be limited, their drinks are all tasty, consistent, FRESH and quickly made!! The food is also always fresh and the soup I had was homemade. Give them a try, and with their simple menu, you'll be able to taste everything so quickly when you keep coming back for more!

Blondie, mac salad, and cookie delivery.

I work up at City Hall and though I usually bring my lunch, I occasionally order delivery and I've got to say shame on me for not going with Coo Coo's Cafe every time. Their food is simple but with an exciting flair. It's food that everybody knows and that not many places do anymore and it is always good. It's not overly expensive and I am always happy after eating it. I've gotten the blondie (tuna sandwich), Mesquite Chicken and Bacon sandwich, and the California sandwich before and all were top notch with my favorite being the blondie surprisingly. If you're in the area and want a great lunch, definitely check out Coo Coo's.

This is a tiny little restaurant in the downtown Water Street District. I went here after a friend told me about it. I ordered the waffles with strawberry on top and scrambled eggs and extra crispy bacon to go. The food was good. I didn't have to wait too long. There is a nice little sitting area inside which gives you the vibe of one of those old style cafés from the 1960s.

This is a great little cozy diner. We were looking for a place to have breakfast and found this place. I enjoyed a breakfast burrito and coffee. The staff was so friendly, prices were reasonable and the food was great. I highly recommend this place.

Definitely has the small diner vibe. Not fancy, but great value when you are looking for a great breakfast.

Turkey wrap. Very Tasty! Coffee Frap. Nice extensive menu to select from. Quick wait. Love the decor, a diner feel

Vegan vegetable wrap / waffle deluxe with ice cream / BLT / Croissandwich

The items we ordered were fabulous for what they are, we really appreciate the vibe here. Jesus and Maribel provided luxury service - if we asked for something they got right to it. The vegan wrap sounds basic but is fire, red pepper hummus slaps inside! Im not a big jalapeño fan perro it was delicious. The waffle with ice cream is dank too. The croissandwich is a hit and the BLT was so good they saved the other half for the ride home. Great pitstop before your ride to wherever you decide to go. Thank you for being our breakfast spot today :)

I've been wanting to try this place since moving here almost two years ago since it's close to where I live. I finally made it here, lol! I haven't seen a place like this in Vegas yet, so it's cool having a restaurant that reminds me of home. The place is really cute with diner, vintage, Route 66 vibes which I love. The menu is huge and it was hard for me to pick. But finally I chose the Petite Breakfast and a custom smoothie. First of all, the Petite Breakfast isn't so petite, lol! It's huge and I could barely finish it. The eggs were basic but it's nice they came with cheese already without an extra charge. The grits were insanely buttery but really good. Sourdough toast was crisp and tasted great with a little butter. Sausage patty was standard and good. I honestly can't believe the value I got for the price paid. It was overall a standard good breakfast that was super generous and affordable. The smoothie I got (strawberry, mango, and pineapple) was delicious, and again, the smaller Regular size was actually huge. The service was fast and standard good. The only thing I'd change is for them to have reusable forks, spoons, and knives instead of plastic ones. This is a place I'd definitely bring my family to (the ones who appreciate this kind of vibe). Glad I finally made it in!

Had some time to kill before an appointment and decided to pop in here and get some coffee and a bite to eat. Lady working was very nice and super helpful with menu recommendations. I got an iced caramel macchiato and their southwest chicken wrap. The macchiato was decent could use a tad more flavor but the wrap was really tasty. The interior is such a vibe though, would definitely come back if I'm over on this side of town again.

Mexican Mocha in size Large

Holy moly! I have lived in henderson my entire life and I'm just mad with myself I didn't go in sooner. It's an absolutely adorable little spot taking you back in time with the decor, service was great, and THE WAFFLES!!! Oh my God the waffles!!! One bite and I knew I found our forever breakfast spot. The Mexican Mocha was also delicious! The I would recommend getting the small the Large lived up to its name for sure. Don't pass this place up. We will be returning soon!

Big table!

My absolute favorite sandwiches joint. The Santa Fe wrap is ridiculously good. They pile on the meats.

From Ube Ensaymada to a Turon Brulee Latte, they have it all and more. Plenty of seating and definitely the right vibes for a productive study sesh. Brandon and John were so kind and helpful when ordering, guiding us through their menu and pastry options. They truly brought the meaning of "kapamilya" so shoutout to them!! We ended up ordering a Pizza Croissant and Pistachio Banana Bread, which were both delicious! The Pizza Croissant was just the right amount of savory, which contrasted nicely with the nutty and sweet flavor of the Pistachio Banana Bread. We also ordered a classic Ensaymada, which is this fluffy bread with a light cream on top! Get it warmed, and it is SOOOO good to pair with your coffee. As for our drinks, we ordered a Ferrero Latte, a Pistachio Latte, and a Flat White. The Flat White really showcased the quality of their beans, which was only enhanced in the lattes. The Ferrero was silky smooth, and honestly tasted like a melted Ferrero Rocher. The Pistachio was nutty and subtle, which complemented the Ferrero greatly. If you want a taste of that Filipino warmth, definitely stop by Middle Black Sheep! We definitely plan on coming back to try the rest of the menu, and so should you.

Stopped by this coffee shop in the Water Street District on a Friday mid-morning, and had a nice…read moreexperience overall. Parking was easy. There's plenty of street parking and nearby lots. I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

They just seem to know what makes coffee Work…read more Public Works is a coffee bar that has called Henderson's Water Street home for years and years. I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.
