The cafe inside the casino, The Brass Fork, is a great place to gather and get some really good comfort food. The service is quick and friendly. The menu includes a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner options along with some dietary choices. The front entrance counter desert cabinet is very inviting as well if you have a sweet tooth. I had the chicken tenders that were so juicy, large and filling. This was from the appetizer menu that I feel was a huge order for one person to eat. You can easily take the crunchy skin off it was a lot! The side of fries also ordered were nice. My daughter had a bacon cheeseburger of which it was gone before I could snap a picture.. lol she said it was one of the best burgers she'd had! The only downside to dining here was the smell of cigarette smoke that lingered in from the casino. Plus, the restaurant was very dated but I actually enjoyed the old decor. First of all, our server was great. She was very sweet and happy and we absolutely loved her. So we came specifically for the 5.99 burger and fries deal, just for shts and giggles to see what it was all about. She told us it came out quick, so not sure if that means microwaved or just a lot of patties ready to go. She was correct, they came out fast. Shredded lettuce, mayo and a thin slice of tomato with a small cup of pickles on the side. Honestly, even though I'm sure it was a pre-frozen surplus patty, they did it well. Cheese was melted, felt fresh not "heat lamp for hours" or microwaved--so they hid the process well if it was one of those things. It was better than a dry Quarter Pounder from McD's, for less money, about that same size. We asked about the 1.99 margarita and $3 shots/beer, and she said they were at the bar right outside of the cafe. I'll review that later. Two people, with drinks, getting out for less than 20 bucks for a better-than-fast-food burger that's certainly not as good as mid-level burger joints like Red Robin where the burger alone is 20 bucks, and the fast food burger is easily almost that much as well. Don't expect a mind blowing experience, but you are getting probably better than you'd expect for a 5.99 meal--It was OK, definitely not bad, but also definitely not great. First up we eat at the Brass Fork at Palace Station all the time, even their room service is spectacular. This locations restaurant is very big, employees are a bit unnecessarily loud. This meal tonight was absolutely one of the worst meals I've had in vegas. The service from Kittima was very professional. But our meal was horrible, the only edible part was the broccoli and club sandwich. We all ordered things we've had from Brass Fork before so that's what made it so bad. My boyfriend and I came in for breakfast and had a very disappointing experience. Our server took our order but walked away twice before we had finished ordering, even as we called him back to add the last few items. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional. Later, I stepped outside for a moment to get some fresh air. One of the employees, Ruel, looked over the wall and motioned for me to come back inside. I explained that my boyfriend was still at the table, the table was full of food, and he was just in the bathroom and would be paying the bill when he returned. Despite this, Ruel insisted that I come back immediately to pay, which I found embarrassing and humiliating. When I came back inside, the cashier repeatedly offered to get the manager. By that point I was already very upset and crying. I thought Ruel was clearing our table and commented on it, and he yelled across the restaurant that he wasn't. Being spoken to so loudly in front of other customers was completely unprofessional. I've been to this restaurant many times and have never experienced service like this before. Stopped by Brass Fork for the late-night special and ordered the $10 steak and eggs. For the price, it's a pretty good deal and definitely filling. The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium rare although, it was a little tough. We did have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated because the kitchen was running behind, but once we were seated everything went smoothly. The Brass Fork has consistently good food with decent prices. The staff is mostly friendly with a couple of frownie faces sprinkled in. Those providing standout service are Heidi, Duaune and Carrie. They currently (as of fall 2025) have specials available: cheeseburger with fries for $5.99 available 24/7 with a players card; breakfast specials after 11pm ranging from $3.99 for pancakes to $9.99 for steak and eggs. We have tried the steak and eggs a couple of times and I would say pass and get the pancakes. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with an omelette, breakfast burrito or pancakes (add fruit). For lunch or dinner, the club sandwich is a good choice. The food here is seasoned more than if you go to the coffee shop at GVR, and you save a couple of bucks by coming to this location. Let me preface this review by saying I was here as part of a party of 12. We were here for a work holiday dinner party. Given how many of us there were, service was excellent. In addition to bringing us food, they also let us store our secret Santa gifts in a booth in the back of the restaurant, allowed us to do our exchange and even took some pics of the team. Service aside, the food was totally average for me. Two of pretty much each appetizer was ordered. I had a piece of quesadilla was good but very salty. I had some of the nachos. Then some more. And then a little. The nachos were pretty good, huge and sharable. I am not factoring the calamari, wings or chicken fingers into this review as I did not try those. Most of the group seemed to order steak or prime rib for their meals. One ordered chicken parm. I ordered a reuben sandwich. The meats all looked good. I found myself wishing I had ordered maybe prime rib instead of my sandwich. The bread of which was unevenly toasted. One side was so toasty it was tearing up my mouth. The other side was soggy. I ended up eating the meat out from the middle and skipping the bread all together at the end. The corned beef was a bit dried out. And there wasn't enough sauerkraut for my liking. I ordered garlic fries as my side. These too were disappointing to me. Not garlicy as I expected but more just seasoned. Heavily. Too salty for me. I had a few and gave the rest to a colleague to take home. Down to dessert, I heard chocolate cake and a couple of others listed. Those did not include tiramisu and cheesecake. Not that I could recall. Yet I saw those brought out to the other end of the table. I got the chocolate cake which, admittedly, was very good. I just wish I had heard the others. I may have gotten tiramisu instead. It was smaller but looked good. The cake was very rich and very chocolatey. It was delicious just bordering on the too much. Some highlight. Some low lights. It has been years since I've eaten in this restaurant. Decided to bring my Mom in one day because she loved Lucky Penny at Red Rock Casino and GVR, and since Sunset Station is part of the same family, Brass Fork has the exact same menu. My Mom got the grilled cheese sandwich and I got the Vegas Philly. The Philly was exactly the same as it was when we had it at Lucky Penny inside GVR, so the consistency is there. And Mom loved the grilled cheese sandwich. The atmosphere isn't as relaxing as Red Rock and GVR, but it was still nice. And the staff were amazing. Food quality was great and we will definitely be back again sometime in the near future. I highly recommend coming here instead of a Denny's any day. The food is just better and more authentic. This is our fourth visit to the brass Fork while staying the night at the hotel. Kathy was our server and she was very friendly and efficient. She wholeheartedly approved of our choices of the salmon with brussels sprouts and sweet potato purée and my husband's choice of the Salisbury steak dinner. The food came out in about 10 minutes and was nice and hot. I think my salmon had just been taken out of the pan as it was still sizzling. The Salisbury steak dinner was pretty good although it's kind of odd that they put the garlic toast underneath it because all you end up with is soggy bread. Everything else was pretty good. However, we both agreed that the salmon dinner was excellent. So many places, overcook salmon, but they cooked it perfectly. The side orders were also absolutely delicious. I'm staying here at the Sunset Station Hotel and the Brass Fork is located right inside the place. Breakfast is not included, like it is where I usually stay Holiday Inn Express, but the price was way cheaper here for the room. I saw the Brass Fork offers a late night or early morning depending on you point of view, food specials. They run from 11pm till 6am, so if I get there before 6am I'll get a breakfast deal. The cheapest deal is pancakes for $3.99, but I want more than that, so I got the Steak and Eggs for $9.99! I arrived at 5:30am since I'm up already anyways to get some work done in the room. The service was fine and they took my order no prob. The plate came out and it was a big plat with the steak, eggs, hashbrowns and toast. That's a deal for $9.99. I just had water to drink since I had a coffee maker in my room. The food was tasty and the steak cooked properly. I do like I didn't have to drive anywhere for breakfast, so there's that. They do offer a Cheeseburger and fries special 24/7 for just $5.99! I might have to come back for lunch! The ambiance was reminded me of an old casino restaurant that has given up on life and was ready to die, totally out of step with the rest of the casino, which is otherwise done really well. What I can't figure out is how a casino that does such a good job with its casino, grounds, and other restaurants can miss the ball so badly with this one. The food was mediocre at best. The prime rib dinner couldn't have been more disappointing. The meat was sliced thinly and was as fatty as it gets, with more fat than actual edible meat. Presentation was a solid 2 out of 10. My wife asked to substitute the broccoli for a salad and was willing to pay an upcharge. She was told no. As a restaurateur I have some suggestions for management and the chef. 1 eat at your own restaurant. Any chef or upper management worth his or her weight will know exactly what I'm saying is true. 2 instruct your service staff and management to do whatever it takes to make a customer happy. Your restaurant is failing based on the reviews and 3 star rating and the number of stars on Yelp. You are dragging the rest of this casino down and making everyone look bad. 3. No one , or at least hardly anyone, wants to eat a side of undercooked or overcooked broccoli. Most people can't stand it, and if someone wants to sub it for a different side, make them happy. I guarantee that your chef or manager aren't eating it ever. 4 figure out how to make your food exceptional. There are way too many choices in Vegas for great food. This menu and quality of food say one thing to your customers, "I have given up and please put me out of my misery." 5 your prime rib needs to say exactly how many ounces you are getting. If your 10 oz prime rib is 4 oz of meat and 6 oz of fat, don't serve it. Or serve a 14 oz prime rib that is more meat than fat. And don't slice it and pile it on a plate like yesterday's news. Presentation was a solid 2 out of 10. You get what I'm trying to say, and if you order it yourself you will definitely get what I'm saying. The only 2 positive things I can say are these. Kevin the manager did his best. He greeted us with a smile and when we complained he took 10 dollars off our bill and was extremely apologetic. I have a feeling if he was promoted things wouldn't be as bad. Honestly he should have comped the entire meal but was probably in a stranglehold from poor upper management. Secondly my dogs loved the fatty scraps after our inedible dinner. Sorry this is so harsh but I have high standards and so should your restaurant and staff. The GM of this casino needs to have a heart to heart with the F&B director and let them know that this is unacceptable. We frequently come to Sunset Station, mostly to gamble, bowl, and watch movies. Note, I've been seeing ads for the Brass Fork midnight to 6am specials, and they look so good with great prices! We made it a point to come in for the steak and eggs special. We came in about 430am, the place had just a couple of customers, so I can see that the specials are to entice customers to come in for late night dining. We were seated immediately, and nothing was mentioned about the specials, so we had to ask. We were then informed that the special is ONLY FOR ONE PER TABLE, and you must have a Boarding Pass! We already have Boarding Passes, but really, one per table?! I asked the server if I had a table for 4, all Boarding Pass members, only one of us could get the special? She said YES. I jokingly said that we would all have to sit on separate tables then. STN, I don't get it. You even have the specials plastered on the giant marquee outside, yet don't want to honor this special to all customers?! Amazing. Seating options include the counter, tables and booths. I've only been for breakfast (many times) but of course they also offer lunch and dinner. Great service by all and especially the ladies at the counter in the mornings! Breakfast items include but are not limited to avocado toast, steak and eggs, omelets and pancakes. I met a couple of long time friends who moved from Carson to Vegas about a year ago for dinner and some slot play. My buddy wasn't too hungry so we decided to hit the cafe rather than getting Cajun or Italian food at the casino. I enjoy eating at the Brass Fork so that was fine with me although I wouldn't have minded having some of that delicious jambalaya at the Oyster Bar. My wife ordered the seafood chowder bowl which sounded pretty good to me. I decided to order the turkey dinner since I can never have too much stuffing. The portions of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and green beans were more than generous for $16. I was a bit disappointed by thin slice of canned cranberry sauce considering the portion size of everything else. Service here has been impressive every visit so far. This is the coffee shop in the Sunset Station Hotel/Casino. It is a great place to eat. The service is fast and the prices are very reasonable. We have been here numerous times so this is sort of a composite review. I almost gave it five stars but on the most recent visit my wife had fish and chips and she wasn't excited. The fish tasted a little too "fishy" while good fish and chips are usually mild. I had the prime rib and it was excellent. I had the "Queen cut" and would estimate it was 14 ounces, and, it cost only $25. It was flavorful and fairly tender. I ordered it rare and it came out Medium Rare to Medium. My usual go to is the Ham Steak breakfast. The Ham steak is huge and just great. My wife usually has the hamburger which is great. This is a great go to place but I suggest you avoid it on Friday and Saturday when the tourists are here. read more

The Brass Fork at Sunset Station could use some polishing up. We are big fans of the Station Casinos and usually go to the Red Rock or Santa Fe because of where we live. This weekend we were in Henderson for a soccer tournament to we stayed at Sunset Station to avoid all the back and forth driving. On Monday morning I decided to take my daughter to the Brass Fork for breakfast before checking out, I've always enjoyed the breakfast at the other Station locations. Unfortunately, this Brass Fork fell quite a bit short. The restaurant looks like it was left out of the remodel plans, it is quite plain and looks a bit out of place...but we were there for the food anyways. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away as the restaurant was pretty empty. The servers were friendly, but service was quite slow and not the most attentive. I asked for a kids menu but they said they didn't offer one...this surprised me. I think offering a few options to be family friendly would be a nice touch...why pay more for more food that is is too much for kids? I ordered the Waffles for my daughter, and I ordered the Country Fried Steak which is one of my favorite dishes. My daughter said her Waffle was Ok, but nothing special. I would have to say the same for my meal. The Country Fried Steak was very bland and did not have much seasoning or flavor and my hash browns were a bit soft and mushy and not crispy except for a couple small bites. The eggs were eggs, nothing special there either. After our meal, my daughter said we should have gone somewhere else...and she's 9! Unfortunately, I agree with her and left thinking the same thing. Hopefully they can update the restaurant and get things turned around with the quality of the food...and don't forget the kiddos! On 5-21-2026, my wife and I sat down at a booth to order some lunch. An older woman named Carolyn then approached and asked what would like to order. My wife and I always split a sandwich because a whole one is a little too much. I began to speak and was rudely cut off by this woman who snapped "She needs to order first!" I am a man. I am a disabled military veteran, I have crisscrossed the country in a tractor-trailer, and I have even been locked up a few times so I feel my retired 68 year old self has earned the right to be treated with some regard. Ambiance remains the same, with a nice diner feel. Service is good most of the time, however there are days where it is very slow. We noticed a food runner delivering trays of food near their head, and their hair was getting into the food trays. We notified the staff when paying. The quality of food can vary from day to day. So the last year it has been very inconsistent. It is unfortunate that you cannot get a side salad instead of fries. Or get biscuits and gravy instead of pancakes on the Lucky Three Way. Although, the gravy doesn't really have much flavor. You can get ketchup at no cost, however the ranch dressing is an up charge. My family goes here a lot and even if i'm not there, I always get food brought home. I either get the steaks, the french toast or the fish and chips. I haven't had any food that wasn't good from here. The waiters and waitresses are very courteous and attentive to our needs. We are usually in and out within a valve, 45 minutes.
