After lunch treat! My daughter heard they had a banana matcha drink and wanted to get/try it. Done! We were the only customers and it was nice as I'm not rushed to pick what I wanna try. Since I didn't have coffee today, wanted to try their ube Vietnamese coffee. We also got their banana matcha. My coffee is Vietnamese coffee with a slight sweetness from the ube. It's strong coffee so for those Vietnamese coffee lover, it's a must. Banana coffee is nice to me. Get it less sweet and it's a perfect sweet satisfying drink. Clean spot with lots of seatings for you to enjoy your drink. Worker was nice and quick to take our order and also made it and it didn't seem as we really waited. When we walked in, there was no one in the store including employees. Moments later a guy came in and moved a small sign. It must be a store with one employee? Every employee deserves a break time but I've never seen a boba shop run by a single employee. Maybe it was because it was Valentines Day. Then there was another sign that said cash only since card system was down. I had no cash on me. I got the half sweet assam milk tea with lychee jelly and tried to pay with my credit card. Thankfully the card payment worked. But when I tasted the drink, it tasted like watered down. I will not be visiting this place again when there are so many alternative options. Today we stopped in for their summer series drinks that included the Flamingo and Lychee Breeze. The Flamingo is watermelon juice and passion fruit juice. The Lychee Breeze is lychee tea and watermelon juice. We added lychee jelly to the Lychee Breeze. Both drinks were so refreshing and a perfect sweet treat for a hot Vegas summer day. Came here to try it since there was a BOGO deal. The thai tea was really lacking flavor and richness. It tasted more bitter than anything. The boba pearls were decent, but overall I think the quality and freshness could be vastly improved compared to other similarly priced tea shops in the area. Vibe was a little strange, the big tv with the menu and the music was off. I'd come here once before and I got a taro drink and took two sips and didn't like it. Went here for my lunch break. They had a wide selection of drinks. I think i've been here before and got the taro lover it was pretty good. This time I got the silky strawberry. It's not too sweet. Tastes like strawberry milk with boba. It wasn't busy when I walked in I was the only one in there. Got my drink pretty fast though! It's got tables inside if you wanted to sit or study. Wow this place is good! I had such an awesome experience here that I wish I found out this place sooner. It's located inside a plaza, with some great food nearby. Upon arrival, I was greeted quickly and the employees explained the menu to me since it was my first time here. I do love Taro so I ended up getting the Taro lover with Taro chunks and boba and my friend ordered the strawberry colada. Both drinks were delicious. I loved the Taro chunks in my drink with the Boba. Boba had a good consistency and texture. The strawberry colada was good too. I loved the strawberry jam in it and it was so refreshing. Although they've pivoted away from the spoon, their teas are still worth the trip. Teaspoon is a bubble tea chain originally from the Bay Area. They've always served a variety of tasty milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies. They no longer really offers desserts to be eaten with a spoon, just some likely premade treats I'm pretty experienced with their menu from the past, but there were still plenty of new items for me to try at this new location on Green Valley and Pebble. On my first visit, I went the build your own route by ordering the Hojicha ($6.00) with House Cream ($0.75): as a milk tea, this is nicely creamy as I've come to expect. The drink does have hojicha flavor, but it's quite muted compared to other times I've had it. I'll have hojicha elsewhere in the future. I ventured into their smoothies the second time. The Peach Freeze ($6.00) had much coarser ice than I was expecting, which made using a normal straw nearly impossible, but it did keep the drink cold for longer than a typical smoothie at least. The flavor wasn't as fully nuanced as biting into a fresh juicy peach, but it had more of the proper characteristics than a lot of peach-type drinks I've tasted. The smoothie base is premade, so sweetness adjustment isn't possible, but it wasn't overly sweet. Tonight, I went for the Grasshopper ($6.00), an interesting Teaspoon signature drink which I somehow hadn't tried before. It's actually green tea with pulverized lychee at the bottom, which you can sip through a normal straw. The cucumber juice actually really works as long as you don't hate cucumber. I thought that I missed the mark on getting a lower sugar feel with 50% sweetness, but it was still pretty balanced overall. Teaspoon is a great option for bubble tea if it's close to you. It is certainly not the best in the Las Vegas area, as anyone experienced with boba knows, but it has some different selections and is worth adding to your rotation. read more

Price is important because everything has gone up and if I am going to spend a dime one bubble tea- it better be reasonable and well worth it. They have interesting and scrumptious options which are unique to Teaspoon. I like how the menu isn't so overwhelming and has a much limited options. It made my decision a little bit easier but everything also sounded so good. I chose thier seasonal starlight sesame. I love sesame and this was perfectly made with the Hojicha tea. It wasn't too sweet. It was a lovely dessert. Their drinks come in one standard size. You can adjust your sweetness level. Service was great! I was impressed compared to the Uncommons location. When I first found out about this place ever since I've moved into the area I was a bit skeptical since I always only stuck with the same boba shops I really liked or was used to but I was willing to give it a try. When I first walked into the shop I was immediately pleased with the Ambiance of the restaurant. Nice decoration, seating arrangements, wall decor, and how they specifically display all they're cups on a shelf and what other good they have to offer such as macarons, brownies, cookies, rice crispy treats, etc. I have not yet tried any of their other treats but I hope so soon! I am a pretty basic person so I went with the fairly but safe choice of brown sugar milk tea with boba and it's as good as you would expect it to be! We were greeted immediately by a employee behind the counter when we walked in. We ended up ordering the following: Matcha Royale Strawberry, $6.75 prior to tax- I ordered this drink to be made with less sugar and I thought it turned out great. I thought the strawberry and matcha went very well. I did wish the pieces of real strawberry in this was in smaller pieces though so it wouldn't be difficult slurrping it through the straw. Grasshopper, $6 prior to tax- My husband decided to get this but didn't really like it. He did order this to be made with 50% sweetener and said he didn't taste the lychee in this at all and that the cucumber flavor was overpowering. --------------------------- (Total= $13.52 after tax) There are some small tables inside and the teahouse was nice and clean. I have enough respect for Teaspoon, one of my favorite boba chains for 7 years, that I visited a second location on a recent trip to Vegas. This location is similar to all the rest, with a standardized menu, amenities, and decor. The chain seems to have decently tight control over most aspects of their franchises. I enjoyed my drink at the Summerlin location the day prior to visiting this location, so I figured I'd be able to get a solid drink here as well. House Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.25) - As with the other location, the milk tea is very thin without much body or creaminess. They don't seem to add much non-lactose milk powder in, allowing more of the tea flavor to come through. The tea is kind of malty with some Chai spice-like undertones. I feel like the drinks perhaps should be experienced at 100% sweet since, while the tea flavor is decent, the drink is very watery in mouthfeel. The amount of ice they add doesn't help - it's chip ice that doesn't melt too fast, but the large amount still serves to dilute the drink down even further. The flavor of this drink is much easier to water down as compared with the jasmine I ordered at Summerlin. The boba served here is also much weaker than Summerlin. It's soft, almost to the point of mushy, very noticeably reducing the chew and bounce. The pearls still have a decent sticky honey chew and flavor but the mushiness really gets to me. Milk Tea Rating: 3.5/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 Given the other high reviews, this is hopefully just a one off issue with the boba. About a year ago, I was introduced to Teaspoon through an Elite Experience at their UnCommons location off the 215 and Durango. When I learned that there was another Teaspoon location opening closer to my house in Henderson, I got incredibly excited because I really enjoyed their boba tea! I was confused as to if they were actually open yet or not, because Google and Yelp were giving me different answers. Google told me that they were open while Yelp told me that they were temporarily closed, and another time Google told me that they were temporarily closed while Yelp told me that they were open. I'm like, I don't know which one's correct, so I'm just gonna drive down there one day and see if they're officially open. And YES, they finally were! They can be found between Lovelady and F45, a little further down from Smith's. And they are also easily accessible from the 215 freeway! It's been a very long time since I've visited Teaspoon and I don't quite remember what I had when I last visited them, so I had to take a minute to look at the menu before making my decision. Their caramel cream signature drink looked really good, so I decided to give this a shot. Of course I added honey boba to it because it's not boba tea without tapioca added in. The guy that took my order was very nice and asked me if I wanted to input my number into their system so I could receive points on future purchases. Since now I'm Teaspoon's newest fan, I agreed to do so. The caramel cream boba drink was pretty good! It had all that drizzled caramel running down on the inside. However I am glad we stopped by here after dinner for drinks - everything we got was great. The staff member was very helpful when we asked for recommendations and I appreciated his advice on sweetness levels.
