This is my second time to Mothership Coffee Roasters, but my first time to this location. Since it's down the street from my house and always seems to be on the way to where I'm going, I decided to stop in and give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did! I love a good cup of coffee. My preference is cream and some sort of sweetener. Other times, I'll go for a latte, a mocha, or some specialty drink. Drink. When I saw the cherry blossom latte on the menu, I knew I had to give it a go. And what a more perfect complimentary side dish than a humongous chocolate chip cookie? But first, let's talk about the aesthetic. From the outside this place seems pretty standard. Huge sign, the windows are reflective so you can't really see inside, but when you open the door you are in for a treat. I love a good coffee shop that takes pride in their decor and this one definitely does it. In spades. The place feels open, elegant, but not stuffy, and definitely casual. It's the kind of place you could bring your laptop and hang out for a few hours and get some work done. Okay, let's get down to the nuts and bolts. That Cherry Blossom latte was one of the most amazing drinks I have ever had. I heard it's seasonal, so it's one of those. Get it when you can. I think I got it on the last day. But will keep checking because I want this again. The chocolate chip cookie was absolutely amazing, definitely fresh, and tasted perfect. This is definitely going to be on my short list of coffee places to go to. Las Vegas has such a wide and diverse amount of personalized, non chain, coffee places. Why would you go to Starbucks when you could go here? Bottom line? This place is off the charts. I will definitely be coming back here to try some of their breakfast items as well as grab a cup of coffee before heading out on whatever adventure I'm going on. I've been to the drive thru of this location a couple of times in the past and haven't had the best of experiences. Today, my husband and I decided to give this location a try again, but this time we walked in. Like all Mothership locations, this one has a great atmosphere with lots of faux plants, natural light, and vibrant wallpaper. There was a variety of seating options, including a conversational booth which was unique and some patio seating out front. The music was of course on point. There are multiple gender neutral restrooms that were also nicely decorated. Everything was super clean too. This location also offers a drive-thru and has a ton of parking for people wanting to hang out. Baristas were all relatively friendly. We came around 10:30am and were pleasantly surprised to see they had plenty of pastries left for a light breakfast. I ordered their chocolate croissant which was quite delicious, but rather small. I also tried their iced banana matcha latte with oat milk which was topped with cinnamon - this was okay. The banana was super subtle, cinnamon top was incredibly overpowering, and the matcha felt a little watered down. I somewhat enjoyed it, but definitely not the greatest matcha in town. My husband went with a classic nitro cold brew which he said was good and decently strong. For his pastry he went with the blueberry lemon scone. I definitely stole a bite of his scone and it was so good and pretty sizable; made me wish I had ordered that too instead of the small croissant. Although our visit today was much more pleasant than previous ones, Mothership still remains a little hit-or-miss for me. It's been a minute since I've updated my review for this place so thought I would! I absolutely love this coffee shop and love their coffee so much. There's plenty of seating inside and out and they have pretty good and fast wifi, which is very necessary for me when I go work at a coffee shop. I love that they have a big variety of different coffees and also do seasonal ones, too. Recently I've been trying to cut back on having too much caffeine and they do offer decaf coffee, so I got that last time with a vanilla bourbon. It was delish! Great coffee, great ambience, and one of the few independent local coffee roasters in town that offer a number of different varieties to take home if you're a coffee geek like me and want to bring whole beans back to grind and use on my own machinery. I'm not so much a brewed coffee guy and as such, I got a bag of their Ballast Espresso which has a super nice comforting deep chocolate and caramel flavor but not burnt like some of the "larger national coffee shops" have. The vibe in the store is super light, airy, and chill. There were plenty of people enjoying the coffee or eating some brunchy items, but the layout and high ceilings made everything feel quite open and zen. They offered me a free espresso when buying a bag and that was much appreciated! Please support this (women-owned) independent business. The pastries and the bakery items were delicious. Everything was fresh and made to order for the sandwiches. There is plenty of places to sit and enjoy your coffee and treats. Beautiful and peaceful decor. I tried the crème brûlée coffee. I didn't like it at all. ITT was covered in cinnamon and tasted nothing like crème brûlée does. Not to mention there were not aspects of crème brûlée at all. Not sugar crunch or creamy custard like flavors at all. We stood at the counter waiting for a few minutes waiting for them to take our order before anyone approached us. They were nice enough though. Came back to this location of Mothership Coffee Roasters in Las Vegas as we were headed out of town. I think that Mothership has some of the best coffee in the city and their beef empanadas are ridiculously good. It's flaky and crispy and the beef has so much flavor. We stopped by this coffee shop right after lunch since it was conveniently located next door. I didn't really know much about it, but my friend told me it's pretty popular and now I can see why! The vibe is very hip and welcoming, with a cool California-Oregon kind of theme. It has a relaxed but trendy atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while. I try to make it to Mothership every time I'm in Vegas, it is one of my favorite coffee shops. Especially in Vegas! I love their creme brûlée latte, their vanilla bourbon latte is great too. They also have a latte of the month that supports an important cause. The theme inside is cohesive and inviting and their beans are incredible too! I personally love the Ballast Espresso beans, but I plan to try more when I'm out there again. They have service inside and drive thru. Both are pretty quick, usually even when it can be fairly busy. I brought my laptop with me and soon found that it was filled with lots of other people working on their laptops as well. I ordered their "Sip with Purpose," to benefit the ACLU. I personally can't stand the ACLU, but the choice sounded intriguing. It was an iced Cherry Mocha Cold Brew Latte. I also purchased a blueberry scone. Really wanted to like this place because of the highly rated reviews. I tried on two separate occasions, I got a matcha once and then a hazelnut vanilla latte and both were very mid to me. The matcha was very dark in color and right away I could tell that it would be bitter tasting, then ordered a hazelnut vanilla latte and the girl suggested to get the crème brûlée latte since that's basically what it is and it tasted nothing like creme brûlée. Lots of seating, cute wall decor, and merch! Service was good, someone came around to clean tables frequently, and behind the counter employees were very kind and helpful. I had gotten a bacon sausage egg breakfast sandwich on an everything ciabatta, which for $12 wasn't fully worth it - the ciabatta was exceedingly hard to bite into, making it tough to enjoy the meal. My coffee (caramel latte) was delicious. This is a great spot to meet up with friends to catch up over coffee, I love the coffee, but have reservations about the food. This place caught my attention when I was on a lookout for a new coffee place to try in the area. It gets a lot of business which was a good sign when I walked in. There is no problem with parking since it's in a big complex area surrounded by other restaurants. When I first walked I was drawn to the interior with their floral wallpaper and house-like structures covering the seating area. It would be a nice place to study. Despite the busy environment, the service was quick and baristas were friendly. The crème brûlée coffee was amazing, very smooth and not too sweet or bitter. I liked the different options for coffee that wasn't just the usual vanilla latte such as candy cane, bourbon vanilla, etc. I also ordered the cherry chia seed yogurt that was good and I plan to try their sandwiches next time. read more

I spent several days in Henderson and came to Mothership every morning. I love their whole vibe, especially the mystical deer on the back wall and the community tables. Their espresso drinks are delicious with interesting flavors like vanilla bourbon and lavender. The staff are kind and quick. The only thing I didn't like was their pour-over, which was bland and uninspiring. I was also disappointed the pour-over is one size. I used to see the owner in this establishment, actually running his own business and I'm not sure if he stepped away or not but there's an incredibly long line through the drive-through all the time and exceptionally slow service with barista's. That really don't know what they're doing so I suggest he comes back so that they can get a handle on this also because there are so many other options available I would further suggest to add more things to the menu and definitely more vegan options. It took about 30 minutes to get coffee through the drive-through people pray Starbucks because of their fast service now the coffee might not be as good as mothership but at the same time people have busy lives and need to get to work and the overall feel was very lax here- too lax or lazy to that effect- should be handling orders and things with much more efficiency and urgency. I got their strawberry milk matcha. It was okay I was just bothered by the matcha powder settling at the bottom otherwise flavor was great!
