Unfortunately this place is not what it was. What happened to the real chicken? I use to love getting an entire box and now they only offer tenders. Ever since the remodel and only offering outdoor seating, it's just truly fell off. 2 out of the 4 in our party even got sick last time. Not sure what they were thinking here, but it seems they have changed their setup and no longer have indoor seating. This is insane considering the location of Nevada. We came today (not knowing if the change) and had to sit outside in over 100 degrees. It looks like they have some sort of outdoor AC setup , but it was not running. The chairs and tables as a result are scalding hot. This makes chilly jilly unvisitable unless you're taking it to go, or it's winter/fall. A client from work actually recommended this place to me when I told her we'd be passing through town. It's a super cute little place! They appeared to be slightly understaffed while we were there, but service was still friendly and with a smile. Seating is outside and it was a bit windy, but still pleasant. When I heard about the broasted chicken, I had to try it! It did not disappoint. It was very juicy and flavorful. The fries were cooked perfectly and adequately seasoned. Their honey mustard dipping sauce was pretty good! My youngest ordered the same thing but with ranch for dipping and loved it as well. My oldest went with the Best Dam Panini and said it was amazing. Not much of a visit. Our group had hoped to try the food but the kitchen was backed up by our calculations about 30 minutes longer than we could tolerate. The server said they could do drinks to go if we liked. They were out of diet soda so I ordered an unsweetened tea. It was not the best but it was drinkable though bitter. This place only has either a walk-up counter or drive-thru window with plenty of outdoor tables for dining. The woman at the counter was very friendly and patient even though it seemed like she was the only person working there at the time. We had the Best Dam Panini which had top sirloin, provolone cheese, topped with BBQ sauce & coleslaw w/ fries and 3-pc chicken tenders. We couldn't decide on the dipping sauce so we asked for both thousand island and ranch. The sandwich was really good and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. However, the tenders could use some more seasoning and a little dry. I wouldn't mind going back there to try other items on the menu the next time I'm in that area. Nice hole in the wall cafe in Boulder City. They do have a restroom on the right side of the building but had to flag a worker down to ask. Took a very long time to get someone to the window to order but she said it's because we "pushed it wrong", that we needed to push it hard on the bottom enough so that we heard it ring outside. Maybe put a sign explaining that? Nonetheless, decent food except the chicken is very dry. Ranch is excellent. When we got there you couldn't go inside and it was drive thru or walk-up window only. Not sure if it's always like that or not. So we decided to do drive thru because it was over 100 degrees outside. The young lady on the intercom was nice and it was easy to place our order. We went here today during our trip to Boulder City, and I was looking forward to it due to our last experience of it being fantastic. Unfortunately, it was so disappointing. First of all, they only offer outside seating. Their menu is only a fraction of what it used to be. I ordered a mocha frappe and it was the worst drink I've ever had. This is a one stop shop for all your cravings. I used to live in Boulder City many years ago and this place wasn't here cause if it was I would have been coming here often. Our visit was a while back and I just had to have one of their delicious Dole Whips. One of the tastiest around. They offer so much more like sandwiches, salads, smoothies, broasted chicken, shakes, frozen yogurt. This place can easily satisfy the whole family. If you have never tried their broasted chicken, it's a must. Broasted chicken is cooked by marinating the chicken in spices then it is placed in a pressure cooker. It makes the meat so juicy and flavorful. I love that they don't begin to cook the chicken until you order. Plenty of seating and parking is also easy. Interior is large and can hold quite a few people. They are also offering brunch on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and dinner on Saturday nights right next door at The Patio. Such a cute spot in Boulder City! Auntie loves the soft serve and my kids are obsessed with the Cookie Monster ice cream flavor, definitely a hit for the whole family. The root beer float and pineapple floats are so good too. We actually stopped by because the hot dog lady across the street told us this place is owned by her daughter, so of course we had to come support and we love supporting local like this. Went thru the drive thru. Very friendly service. Order the dole float. This was very delicious and refreshing and way sweet. Also ordered chicken tenders with tots and with an iced tea. These were made to order so we had to wait. Not a big deal. The tenders were huge. Lightly breaded with a little seasoning. This was so good by themselves but even better dipped in BBQ sauce. The tater tots were cook perfectly, nice and crispy BUT waaayyyy too much seasoning. Make sure u taste them before driving off. Couldn't even enjoy them with all that seasoning on them. This review is based on three separate visits and each visit's order was for two people (i.e. two meals). Wait Time: Between all three visits, there was an average wait time of 20-30 minutes. When we arrived to the window to pay on our first visit, we were told to take a lap around the drive-thru and that our order would be ready upon our return. It turned out we arrived to the window and waited about 20 minutes before we received our order. Order: With the wait time in mind, please remember that Rome wasn't built in a day--so don't expect a quality meal to be ready within five minutes. With that being said, we ordered the 1). double cheeseburger with fries, 2). crispy chicken sandwich with fries, 3). fish and chips, 4). chicken tenders, 5). a strawberry shake, and 6). a chocolate shake between our three visits. The quality across all three visits was consistent and detailed here: 1). The Double Cheeseburger was cooked to our doneness preference. The bun was toasted with light butter and a slight crunch to the bite. The patties were juicy and well-seasoned. The cheese was evenly melted on the patties. The condiments did not overpower the patties' flavor. The toppings were the standard lettuce, tomato, and onions--which worked harmoniously with the rest of the burger, making for one of the best burgers I have ever had. Upon first glance, it meets my expectations of what a burger should be. 2). Much like the Double Cheeseburger, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich was of excellent quality. All of its components worked collectively to deliver in flavor and texture, including the toasted bun with the slight crunch. It was a perfect Crispy Chicken Sandwich. 3). The Fries were flavorful (fry seasoning, salt), crinkle cut, and evenly fried throughout (i.e. you did not have some hard pieces and some soggy pieces). We recommend a side of ranch for dipping. 4). The Fish and Chips were your standard Fish and Chips--and I mean that in the best way. They were fried until the classic golden and served with tartar sauce. Again, everything you would expect out of Fish and Chips. 5). While the Chicken Tenders were good, they were not outstanding. We would not order them again due to the other superior items on the menu. 6). The Strawberry Shake was flavored with fresh strawberries and like the Chicken Tenders, it was not outstanding. The Chocolate Shake was a classic Chocolate Shake. If you are craving a shake, then go for it. Otherwise, there isn't anything that would separate these shakes from another good quality shake. Both shakes leaned toward a thicker consistency. Note: The medium sized shakes are huge. If we ever get one again in the future, we will order a small instead. Service: We felt welcomed during each visit and did not feel rushed at the intercom (all three of our visits were through the drive-thru). Prior to visiting, we were unsure of what to expect with the mixed reviews and ultimately decided that we would just find out for ourselves. We are so grateful that we made the choice to try Chilly Jilly'z, because it is now one of our favorite spots in Southern Nevada. We definitely recommend that you give it a try! read more

I recently tried the Black & Blue burger, and it was ok but nothing special. The staff are friendly but the service is pretty slow if you order food. It was cold, and delivered by someone from the kitchen who set it down and walked away. we ate it anyway because we were starving. No jams or sauces were offered for the first 15 minutes then the waitress came by and I asked for jelly and steak sauce...... we got some jelly but no steak sauce so we got to go box and bailed out of there. Came here for a Cute little brunch date while we were on our way to explore Downtown Boulder city. You order at the front and the employees working there are friendly! Ordered the Canyon caprese and the best dam panini with a side of fries. My boyfriend doesn't like tomatoes on his sandwich usually but he really enjoyed the pesto with the cheese and tomatoes. Sandwiches were fresh and hot! The best dam panini had a nice layer of coleslaw which balances out the meat and bbq sauce in it. Definitely a good mix of sweet and bold sauces. Fries were good too! Crunchy and seasoned. Don't need ketchup with it at all! We spent a good 40 mins enjoying the nice 80 degrees weather and eating our food. Although the patio area reminded me of Santorini, the ice cream was sadly underwhelming. The frozen custard tasted nothing like custard like we have back east- just a cheap watered down mix with bland toppings. I literally stood there for at least 5 minutes, ringing the doorbell a few times and nothing. I looked at the operating hours and, yes they were open. This was about 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday and NO ONE could be bothered to check the window, not even to say, "we'll be right with you" or even just to tell me "F-Off, we're to incompetent to help you!"
