We love the ube! Employees were nice, shop was busy and clean. Great variety of flavors and toppings. Fun experience!

Yummy!

Service is great! Thank goodness for the patience of the staff with my little ones! The quality is top tier! The family loves coming here! Always a fun experience! They've got great seating and a place for date night, family night, or even just a quick ice cream outing on your own! Cant go wrong with any flavors combos! For those of us introducing people to this world.... can we make vanilla a classic flavor?

LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff are so nice and the taiyaki are the cutest things ever. I got the ube/ chocolate swirl w upside ahboong filled with custard. 10 out of 10. The shop is bright yellow and is warm and inviting. Limited seating inside. They have 6 rotating flavors and samples are unavailable. There are toppings for your soft serve as well. DEELISH!

Good desserts. Quick service. Overall good experience. My favorite flavors of the Taiyaki are Nutella and cheddar cheese, depending on if I want something more sweet or a little savory.

Don't sleep on Somi Somi! The establishment is always super clean and service is always great! As for the product itself, so bomb. I got the milk tea soft serve with custard filled. It truly tasted like authentic milk tea because the way it's made. The cashier mentioned they brew the tea and infuse the cream with it! 10/10

Somi Somi is Amazing!!! If you haven't tried it, this place is an absolute MUST! We absolutely love their soft serve ice cream and fish-shaped cake (Taiyaki). It's such a great concept, and the desserts not only taste delicious , but also look super cute. The store is very spacious, nicely decorated with bright colors and very inviting atmosphere. They have counter-top seating inside and a couple of tables outside as well. Staff is kind , very friendly, welcoming and they truly appreciate your business. There are 3 steps to order. Select a cup or taiyaki, the choice of soft serve and the filling for inside. At the end they have different toppings you get to choose from. You really can't go wrong with any items you put together, it's all equally delicious! We have ordered several different items from the menu and we were pleasantly surprised with the flavors , not too sweet at all, ice cream was very creamy and the Taiyaki were very fluffy and yummy!!! Overall: It is such a beautiful place to take your family out for an ice cream or just to hang out with your friends. A very happy place with helpful staff. Highly recommended!!!

Soft serve and taiyaki? Yes, please!!! I've had this place marked in my bookmarks for so long, but never had the chance to stop by. Well, my time came when I was in the neighborhood for dinner and I jumped at the chance to stop by and have some yummy desserts. Walking in, the place is sparsely decorated but in a fun loft way. We didn't realize where the line was though, only figured it out when we were being ignored and the girls who came in after us stood in a particular spot and were called upon next. Oops! If this is your first time in, look at the walls, the "red carpet" will tell you where the line is. We ordered soft serve and taiyaki. The taiyaki takes a bit because it's freshly made but it's well worth the wait. If you're ordering soft serve, even with a taiyaki pushed into it, it will come out super fast. I got milk and sesame swirl with a custard taiyaki and Biscoff topping. Soooooo good. My moms ube with coconut topping was pretty freaking tasty as well. I've never tried taiyaki that wasn't red bean so the mint oreo was a special experience that I want to have more of. I cannot wait to come back and have some more of these amazing treats!

Their flavors never disappoint!! We got the matcha and cookies and cream, earl grey and milk tea. The taiyakis were made well and yummy. Quick service, and friendly staff. I like how we can watch how they make the ice cream and Taiyaki. It's quite a spacious spot so you can at least hang inside with friends.

Somi Somi never disappoints! If you haven't tried this place yet, it's an absolute MUST! Their soft serve ice cream and fish-shaped cake (Taiyaki) are next-level amazing not only delicious but also super cute and Insta-worthy. The concept is so fun and easy: 1)Pick your cup or cone 2) Choose your soft serve flavor 3)Add your filling and toppings for taiyaki trust me, you can't go wrong with any combo! Everything we've tried has been a hit. The ice cream is perfectly creamy (not overly sweet), and the Taiyaki is warm, fluffy, and freshly made. Such a perfect balance of texture and flavor. A lot of table seating inside and outside.

I love SomiSomi, it's my favorite ice cream spot! I love that the flavors rotate every week and the toppings. I love how unique this place is. There's some seating if you want to stay and eat and easily accessible. I love how friendly the staff are and the service is so fast. This spot is delish if you're in the mood for ice cream!

Its been so hot when i seen this store i had to get some soft serve! Service was fast, there is a bar u can sit on while u enjoy your treat. Employees were nice and soft serve was delicious!? Ill be back!

Jiaranai C.

I was craving something sweet and found this cute little place! I love how they give you the options to select the filling of the ahboong. I chose the custard filling and it pairs very well with the cookies & cream and matcha soft serve. The place was super cute and the employee was super nice with helping us as first timers. I would definitely come back and sit in as the place was super cute!

I finally tried this place and it was a yummy treat! Good portion of cookies & cream/ube soft serve and a yummy Nutella filled ahboong! Also, with biscoff & oreo toppings!

Even the vegetables had that strong sour punch, which I really liked with the steaming hot soup. I'm not big on a table full of side dishes, so I actually appreciated that they kept it simple. Not too many extras, just the essentials. The soup itself wasn't overly salty, which I liked. You can season it to your preference since they provide extra salt on the side. The gomtang stood out -- the beef was very tender, soft, and clearly simmered well. And honestly, the slightly indifferent service made it feel authentic. Not overly polite or trying too hard -- just straightforward and focused on the food. If you enjoy sour notes and comforting Korean soups, this place does it well.

The taste and value is really great, actually. If you are looking for your "halmoni's" (grandma in Korean) authentic, homemade, caring, handmade flavors and can ignore the no-frills, don't -care, terrible location and zero curbside appeal, this is your place. Imagine going to an old neighborhood Korean home where the kimchee to the broths and banchan are made with love. The scissors are sharp so you can easily cut the perfectly fermented, primly pickled kimchee and the cucumbers (oi kimchee) are fresh and the beef broth deeply steeped and rich with flavor. Plus it's an absolute bargain for what you get. I think we ordered almost one of everything (for just the three of us) just to taste it. The naengmyun (cold noodles) were fine. Not exceptional, but decent. The saam and chive pancake was very good. Value is high, taste is high; authenticity very high. Huge portions in today's world of cutting back. But I feel fortunate to find a "go-to" for my korean cravings. Like walking into my auntie's house for some warm, deeply comforting, home-cooked k-meal. Craving the dogani bone broth soup now!! (Would have taken photos but it would have hard to judge based on photos alone. This is a place you have to go to just to taste it, not look at it).

Step inside, though, and suddenly you are transported somewhere that feels straight out of the Euljiro district in downtown Seoul. The welcome sets the tone. The mostly non-Korean staff greet you by shouting something in Korean. I had to ask my Chinese server what it meant. He laughed and said, "Hobak imnida" which translates to "We are Hobak." Kind of silly, but honestly part of the charm. What we did not realize is that Hobak is celebrating its tenth year in business. In Las Vegas, that is no small feat. Restaurants here disappear faster than a weekend bankroll, so a decade says a lot. Also worth noting, Hobak is not AYCE. They offer set menus and à la carte options. We went with the set menu for two, and it was more than enough food. That said, if you are strictly a meat-only person, this might not be your ideal spot. The seafood pancake and kimchi stew deserve just as much attention as the meat! The real surprise though: while it is not AYCE, they quietly rolled out AYCD all you can drink for $14 back in November. Yes, you read that right. So plan accordingly. Bring a DD or call a Lyft because things can escalate quickly. We ended up with two bottles of soju and two large Cass beers, which would have easily been double the AYCD price. Sodas are also included. One of the better deals you will find in this city. Service was excellent across the board. Tyler, who is half Japanese and half White, handled the brisket and short ribs like a pro. Our tattooed Chinese server, who looked intimidating at first glance, turned out to be incredibly friendly and grilled the pork jowl perfectly. Everyone else kept the banchan coming with a smile. By the time we finished, we had to walk laps around the shopping center just to recover. We left full, slightly buzzed, and, fittingly, feeling like a couple of very giant hobaks.
