It now being totally not a part of my healthier eating habits... I only got one... for a friend :) So I just stood there, smelled those glorious, sticky, sweet, cinnamalicious cinnamon rolls and was brought back to memories of my childhood going to Stoneridge with mom and buying a cinnamon roll and a mochalatta chill. SIGH. Oh, it's just under $4 for a Cinnabon Classic.. don't remember what they used to cost but just an fyi. They have maybe 5 chairs in a cramped space if you want to sit and eat with friends. It's 6:36 pm on Wednesday. Every store in the mall is open except Cinnabon. Although the site states it is open until 7:00, the representative was putting away the rolls and told me the business closes at 6:30. She was able to offer one of the mall staff a roll. While I was passing through Pleasanton, I decided to spontaneously buy one of Cinnabon's classic cinnamon rolls when I saw Cinnabon in the Stoneridge Mall. Service was fast and friendly and the roll itself was delicious and sweet with the cream cheese frosting on the outside and more of the cinnamon itself toward the center of the roll. I only wish there was more cinnamon spread throughout the roll. The roll was room temperature when I got it since it was likely out in the display for a while and not from a fresh batch, but I still thought it tasted decent in spite of this. I do find it a bit on the pricey side, which makes it more of an occasional treat. However, when I paid, at first the cashier told me that I could take my card out even though the card reader itself still was showing a message that the payment was processing and to not remove it. Trusting the employee's word, I removed the card, but then they told me there was an error and to try swiping my card again, so I inserted the card again. The second time, there was a successful message and I assumed all was fine. But a few days later, when I was checking my credit card account online, I found to my dismay I had been double charged. Fortunately my credit card company did not give me a hard time for getting the refund, and I assume it was a genuine mistake on part of the worker, but it does make me more wary in the future of pulling the card out before the card reader says the payment is successful as I do not want a negative surprise of finding out I was double charged. read more

HORRIFIC SERVICE! I dropped in at the mall for my monthly yum. It's also my bday. I'm allergic to coffee so I asked the EXTREMELY RUDE employee if I could substitute for a different drink. This review is for the original cinnamon roll. I love consistency! The original cinnabon rolls have always been delicious and mostly consistent over the years. I love when they are warm and freshly frosted with that not-too-sweet and creamy icing that tastes like butter and sugar. The soft center of these original cinnabon rolls is my favorite part of the dish because the tenderness just spreads love to the bottom of your belly. I know there are several other menu items that people rave about, but I don't want to deviate from what I feel is their strongest product for my family. read more

I don't know why but I have an obsession with Cinnabon's mochalatta chill. If I could have one every day I probably would. Thank goodness I don't live anywhere close to a Cinnabon anymore. This location makes their drinks great. They also have your usual selection of fresh cinnamon rolls as well. I like this location. It's really light and brightly and the staff is very friendly. Went to buy 2 packs of Cinnabons. I asked the young man behind the counter if I could get the fresh ones that just came out of the oven, he asked the lady boxing them and she said no I had to take the ones that are out front. The cold and old ones that have been sitting out who knows how long. NO THANKS! I don't know wtf the big deal was that she wouldn't sell me any of the warm batches. They barely had any customers coming through to buy as much as I would have spent, but whatever. Don't want to sell them? No problem. I wrote an email to Cinnabon corporation which I felt was a health code violation. And since no one has gotten back to me, I think its important for others to know of my experience. Last week I went to this particular establishment to find that I was served food by someone who handled money, touched the register then went back to work with the food without washing her hands...totally against health code. When I brought this to her attention she ignored me, hoped I would go away and refused to wash her hands. I then told her to give me back my money. This location in Stoneridge is located right outside of JC Penny and is surrounded by other eateries. What's there not to love at Cinnabon? (You know, aside from the bajillion calories per piece...) You can order a normal size original Cinnabon or a Caramel Pecanbon or better yet, a Minibon. It's small but hits the spOt. There are also CinnaStix and Cinnabon Bites for when you're on the go. The bites are small and uber-cute, but still with the same taste as the original. They also boast a variety of frozen beverages called Chills or Chillattas. (Suuure, just add MORE calories, right?!) Pre-packaged Cinnabons are available for those having parties or get-togethers. The staff is really cool, and you can always watch how they make these cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls at Cinnabon may not be low on calories, but they're high in flavor and pure indulgence. I feel the same way about Cinnabon that Homer Simpson feels about food, beer or that little tamborine monkey in his head. I think it them, dream about them and during my lunch hour at work I eat them. One of the few perks of working in Pleasanton. The middle ooey-gooey center of the large Cinnabons are absolutely "cin-nabon"-ful! Delicious! Decadent! I WANT MORE!!! My brain thinks, but my stomach disagrees as the waist of my jeans becomes tighter. I don't recommend straying into new territory with Cinna-Stix and other cleverly named things besides the Bon itself, 'cause they just can't live up to their fatty friends' high (calorie) standard. And we all know, the more calories, fat, etc... the tastier and better it is... So veer past the Abercrombie barbie dolls, ignore that sale at Macy's and run straight for CINNABON, it'll make your shopping experience so much more satisfying. Then you can get the box of dozen to go! --- EDIT: They changed locations in the mall - now they are conveniently across from the new H&M. So now, Stoneridge Mall gets Extra Points for having two of my favoritest things in the same little corner of the mall. ONE Bad thing about the new location is that they have nowhere to sit and enjoy the bon-liciousness of it all... there are two lame little tables in the window of the new venue so now I have to sit bymyself like an animal on display at the zoo while I devour my cinnabon.
