This store has very inefficient operations. I placed an online order and went straight up to the counter when I got to the store and asked if my drinks were ready. The worker at the register told me that my drinks were still being made so I proceeded to wait patiently after about 7 minutes, then I went back up to the counter to ask about my drinks only to find that they were sitting in the refrigerator for God knows how long. The employee tried to tell me that they called my name which was 100% not the case because I was standing there at the counter and the entire time waiting for my drinks. These type of operational mishaps really affect the way your customers feel. This was the first time back to Jamba Juice since 2024 and with this experience, I have no plans to ever go back. Not only was the employee not apologetic that I was waiting for no reason they try to make up an excuse that they already called my name, which was absolutely not true. On top of this, your company now charges a 3% fee to use your app. As a large corporation, you should be ashamed of yourself to nickel and dime your customers. If this was a small pop store, I would completely understand but a large corporation like Jamba Juice charging a fee to order online using your app. Terrible customer service. read more

I love Jamba juices, big fan of smoothies and açaí bowls. I've been to many Jamba Juice locations and this one is pretty decent. The staff is generally polite and they have yet to get my order wrong. Jamba Juice in general, I love the menu options for taste and health. This time I ordered the açaí peanut butter with chocolate hazelnut bowl. It was tasty. I'm someone who values great customer service, especially when I choose to spend my hard-earned money at a business. While the gentleman who made my drink was very friendly and welcoming, my experience with Laura was just "okay," and here's why. After ringing me up, Laura immediately turned around to wash dishes while I was still waiting for my receipt. It took about six minutes for her to realize I was standing there, and when she finally handed it to me, there wasn't even a quick "sorry," just an "oh" as if it was no big deal. I recently had a similar experience elsewhere, and it's a reminder that service should always come first. If there's prep work that needs to be done, it would be better to schedule staff earlier so customers aren't left waiting when they're simply trying to grab something quickly. I rated this 3 stars because I don't want place any blame on one individual when maybe they're short staffed or instructed to operate like this, but to the store manager THIS ISN'T OKAY. I went in for my birthday smoothie and ordered the Peanut Butter Moo'd my absolute favorite smoothie at Jamba Juice. The establishment was clean, and the employee was kind and gracious. I am thankful that there is a Jamba around here, but this place's service has gone down. The staff in the past year is so are not trained well. They want full price for products but regularly less than 3/4 fill up the glass and act like it's okay. The manager or owner needs to fix the training. This should not be the standard. Came in to grab a drink, service was okay and usually don't have a problem, left to the other side of town for my doctors appointment and they made the drink wrong. If I'm remembering correctly, this spot has been here for over 20 years? Don't quote me on that, lol. Anyway, glad to see a Jamba sorta nearby. It was empty when I visited on a Monday in the early afternoon. The Hacienda Crossings shopping center was actually not as thriving as I recall it being. No other customers in sight, great for me! No line, quick service. I wanted to order my old usual 'Citrus Squeeze', but when I didn't see it on the menu right away I think I panicked and blurted out 'White Gummi'. I still think its weird to see a shortened smoothie menu because they needed to make room for all of the new items that were added throughout the years. I've been told years back that they'd still be able to make drinks that are not listed on their menu- so worth a try next time! I didn't make any small talk with the employee, but do they still give out 1 free boost of choice? I guess I'll have to ask or look online for my answer. I'm surprised she didn't ask me if I wanted to add any boosts. Ok originally I felt bad because they seemed to be stressed with only 2 workers but now this warrants a review. I ordered from the mobile app and their sign says to let them know when you're here but I felt like I couldn't interrupt. They were looking down the whole time and never acknowledged me while I stood in front of the sign with my kids for 10 minutes. Then when I finally interrupted one girl, she directed me to someone else. He pulled our melted smoothies from the fridge. My son's mango a go go was barely blended. He couldnt even sip it from the straw. My gotcha matcha tasted like pure sugar although I requested lightly sweet. I could not accept that. I went back to the unfriendly worker and requested it to be made again. No apology. Instead he remade it with the ice filled to the very top of the cup. According to the sign on the counter, it's all new staff and they're all in training, super understandable but no one greeted me or the lady behind me. Today, Monday June 20th, 2022 at 2:15 PM, my husband and I arrived at Jamba to buy some smoothies. On the way in, I noticed a sign prominently displayed on the window advertising a medium Electric Berry Lemonade for $5. Sounds great! We go in, I order a medium Electric Berry Lemonade and my husband ordered a mega mango and a ginger shot. I notice on the pay pad that my Electric Berry Lemonade was ringing up at $8.09. I asked the cashier about the $5 promo for my drink and she said it was for rewards members and asked me to scan my app. I scanned my QR code and the price stayed the same. The cashier excused herself to speak with another employee, who pointed to an ad taped under the menu. The cashier returned and told me that the Electric Berry Lemonade promo was over and that their current special was for a different smoothie. I asked her if she'd honor the ad in the window and she told me she couldn't. I advised her that they should take the ad down since it was no longer valid, then moved to the side so the cashier could service the waiting customers. Our smoothies came out and my husband's ginger shot didn't. When he asked about it, an employee told him they couldn't make it and would have to refund the item. At this time I figured, since they're processing one refund, I'd ask again if they would honor the Electric Berry Lemonade promo posted in their window and refund the difference. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over and I explained to her about the ad in the window and that I would like her to honor the price. She told me she "can't". I told her that usually stores would honor their ads but she said it was an "app thing" and there was "nothing (she) could do about it." At this point I let it go. This situation was upsetting to me for several reasons. 1. This ad was prominently displayed at their entrance, and there's no end date on the ad. 2. Despite buying two other items at regular price (even though one was refunded, we still intended to purchase the item), the manager didn't think enough of me as a customer, or future patron, to grant my reasonable request. 3. The manager said there was nothing she could do... of course there was something she could do! She's the manager! She had several options, she could have given me the discount by doing an override, she could have rang it in under the current promo item, and made my requested smoothie instead. I've worked in customer service and recently I had a manager at a furniture store discount my purchase without asking because he watched me and my family walk around the entire store without being approached by a salesperson. These things are always at the manager's discretion. And finally, the thing she could do, that she didn't, was removed the outdated promo from the window. Or at least asked one of her employees to do so. On top of all of that, the smoothie was thin like it had been sitting, so that was weird. The message I got today was that I am not a valued customer. It doesn't matter that they made an error by leaving the ad up, they don't care about doing the right thing so they can have my return business. I most likely won't return. read more

I visited this location today and received the absolute worst customer service I ever received! The cashier had AirPods in her ears while she was taking my order! As a result she couldn't hear me and o had to repeat my special order several times. When she finally heard my order her response was "we don't have that on the menu". I told her I understand but that I've ordered this many times before. She proceeded to prepare my drink, but she made it wrong (what a surprise, right?). I asked her to make it correctly and she gave me really bad attitude. The shift manager walked in as this was happening and clearly she could see what was happening, but she did nothing about it. I took my drink and was glad to leave. As soon as I got out of the store, the drink fell because the lid was not put on all the way. I was extremely angry and I left. I tried calling the corporate office to complain but even that went wrong! The first number I found on Google was disconnected, and nobody answered the second number I called. The best JJ I have been to thus far. I don't know what it is about this location but they're Acai Bowls (really the only thing I get) are so good! Absolutely packed to brim of the bowl with so much fruit, it's delicious! I've been to other location that really skimp on the serving and only give a very small selection of Fruits but here you get everything. I work at the Hopyard Jamba Juice in Pleasanton, and I walked in to pick up something for my location, well before my shift started to help one of my co workers. Soon after we left and returned back to my location my manager had told me that the manager at the Hacienda location had told her that I supposedly looked (excuse my language), "high as fuck" then continued to say I looked "naked as fuck".
