My food was terrible. The staff didnt wash their hands and was eating with their gloves on and preparjng rhe food at rhe same time. I tried to ignore it because we were starving. When I returned it the lady was so irritated and then went back and tried rhe food i returned and said she didnt see anything wrong with it. She was reluctant to give me my money back. I called in an order for 2 children quesadillas. I went to pick up my order and was informed that they didn't have children quesadillas! I was never informed that they didn't have children quesadillas, but they went ahead and made the big ones! I should have left and not bought them, but I thought I would give it a try. The quesadillas were horrible! They were so salty the children couldn't eat them! The to go box was a mess. The sour cream was completely coverering the meal! Terrible food. Saturday September 13 between 10:30 and 10:45 we enter to order a breakfast burrito and the ladies there they just look at us I ask if the menu on the board was the only one and with actitud e respond yes and then I told her I don't see the breakfast items and she point diferente small menu on the counter I ordered and look around in their store and the short lady was on a video call saying that loos like he shit in he's pants and she keep going with her call saying shit for about 10 minutes, ignoring other consumers a lady need to check out but they don't care and the tall lady has the worse actitud she didn't know how to give good costumer service is she is the owner she needs to hire a better people there never going back again if the owner cares can check the cameras and see for themselves that's why I leave the time of this incident read more

Honestly, moving to the northern part of California and southern Oregon from a city of diversity, it was hard to find a place that reminds me of home. My gf ordered the taco minus the pico and I ordered a carnitas burrito. First of all I'd give it a 3 star but I bumped it to a 4 star due to the fact that they are the closest thing you could get to a taqueria from LA or Sacramento up in the ********* of nowhere. My gf ordered asada tacos with no salsa and she made sure to order in spanish figuring there would be no miscommunication between the host and us and the host assured there would be none but there was salsa on her tacos. After we were on the road, she opened up her tacos and found out it had salsa on it and wasn't too found of it but forgave them. However, she also complained it wasn't well seasoned. Me being a foddie/chef took a bite and did agree that it wasnt salted enough to the regular consumer palate but I on the other hand was fine with it. The taste overall however resembles that of a taqueria youd find in mexico and that of the more diverse populated cities in California hence it didnt get too much of a dock in my book. Onto the review of the carnitas burrito. It was good not great. My first complaint was that it wasn't as well seasoned as it could've been. For pork being slow cooked to perfection they could've added more salt to it. However not only was it lacking in seasoning the slow cooked pork was also too dry. I was dying for a drink after every third to fourth bite. Carnitas is supposed to be savory and filled with juice but this just missed that point. I wasn't too disappointed though since this area isnt diverse at all hence I didnt dock as much point from it. Overall if you're ever in this area of town, I'd recommend this place for mexican food since it's the closest you'll get to authentic cali-mex food. read more

HORRIBLE FILTHY PLACE WITH RUDE SLOW STAFF. I waited for 25 minutes for three steak tacos and walked out. They weren't short staffed, only slow and rude. Additionally, after watching them cook behind the counter, they are taking NO COVID safety measures. After the customers ahead of me were cleared I waited another 15 minutes I finally got fed up and walked out. A good burrito - not outstanding but if I were to grade it, I would give it a B+. There really isn't a restaurant. It is a converted gas station to a mini mart with a small Mexican taqueria. Although there are a few tables and chairs there - it is really more of a to go place. they have a full range of Mexican foods from tacos to burritos; chile rellenos to enchiladas I ordered a carnitas burrito and my wife had a chicken burrito. The burritos are "mission style" - aka meat, beans, rice and pico de gallo. The rice was nicely spiced, and the carnitas was very good. It had just a touch of crunch with lots of moist pork - since carnitas is deep fried - you should have a touch of crunch - but too much cooking makes it hard, dry and looses all the flavor of the pork. Although a "hole in the wall" type of place - I found they served up some very good and inexpensive burritos - if you're in town, craving some good to great Mexican food - I recommend this place - tasty, cheep and fast - what more can one want for a fast lunch? read more

I travel to Brookings for work and family and eat at my usual spots but this time I decided to try something quick and easy on my last day in town. I had the breakfast burrito and the chorizo was perfect. The tortilla they use is warm and soft and doesn't fall apart as most do. The service was attentive and quick. I would recommend this quick breakfast to anyone even though it is located in an old gas station I would be back. I do think they should get rid of the old gas station pull ups to look more like a store/grill read more

They've changed their hours recently and it hasn't been updated online yet (from 9:00 to 9:30), so we ended up waiting another 30 minutes for it to open. The breakfast burritos were good and worth the price. They do charge extra for cheese and sour cream, but I can't do dairy so it didn't matter to me. They didn't go out of their way to be polite... There was one lady behind the register counter that was very friendly.. * inside building... Clean. Smelling of great mexican food. * food... ABSOLUTELY GREAT.. My wife had a CARNE ASADA SOPA which she said was great.. A lot of flavor.. I had a CARNA ASADA BURRITO.. Absolutely WONDERFUL... Not to bad for $8.50. ... We ordered a soft CHICKEN TACO ( $2.49 ) for CAMI ( our chihuahua dog ). She ate the entire taco.. Meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato.. I was craving a breakfast burrito and this hit THE SPOT. The cook was very friendly and attentive, made our burritos just the way we liked them. The customer service from the cashier could use some improvement. Unfortunately the cashier seemed to want to help everyone else that walked into the door besides me. I waited patiently for her to give me the restroom key, she decided she needed to grab salsa for the customer ahead of me (understandable). After she helped him she neglected to come back and assist me, even after seeing me in line (I have to pee!!). When we were ready to pay for our burritos (and i was able to use the restroom) she decided she needed to help the customer that just walked in before charging us. Luckily the gentlemen acknowledge the fact we were there before him and suggested she help us out first. It sounds petty, but I feel like all of these details make up your experience. If only one incidence occurred, I could overlook it but she made me feel like i was invisible and I was causing an inconvenience to her.
