I must say sauteed mushrooms in a veggie burrito is a bit of a game changer. I'll have to do this at home. The sauce was really bland. This was our third choice. Our top two choices (Indian restaurant and vegan food truck were closed)

I was not disappointed, it was all the comfort food I needed. Really nice, mild, but tasty enchilada sauce. You can tell it was freshly made. That makes all the difference to me, I hate canned enchilada sauce from Mexican restaurants. The chips and salsa that came out first were wonderful as well. I mean I could take a bath in that salsa. We will definitely be back.

First time here, trying new (to us) places in Brookings. Came in on Sunday 3-1-26 for lunch. Only one server so service was slow with the 6 tables occupied. Three in our party. I ordered the pork burrito with rice and beans, the other two people in our party ordered the chicken burrito with rice and beans. Also ordered two iced teas. Water was complimentary. 1. Ice tea tasted like it had sat out on the counter for days. It had a moldy taste. We took one sip and that was enough. 2. The lettuce on the plates also tasted moldy. It had been cooked and was translucent. 3. All of our meals were drowning in red or green sauce. The burritos were filled with just meat and an over abundance of sauce. Meat was OK but had minimal flavor. 4. Refried beans were over cooked and runny. 5. Service was slow and not that good but I also understand that there was only one person doing the work. 6. Bench seat was so worn out that I had to sit in the middle so as not to sink to the floor. The only positives were the chips, salsa, and water. Never got offered refills on the water even though all three of our glasses were empty. We simply could not stomach the disgusting iced tea. WOULD NEVER GO BACK. This is by far the worst Mexican food I have ever been served. It was disgusting.

I found a highly-rated restaurant and decided to give it a try. The vibe of the place was lively, and it was filled with a younger peeps. I noticed that several older couples walked in, looked around, and then left immediately. My partner and I, being the oldest people there, decided to stay--and we were glad we did! We were impressed with the food and drinks. The Mini Gyros were a standout dish; the tender lamb and beef were packed with flavor, complemented by tomato, cucumber, feta, and creamy tzatziki. The Chicken Strips were also delicious, especially with the crinkle fries. We enjoyed our drinks as well--a classic Old Fashioned and a Margarita. It was amusing that the background music was from our generation, which brought back fond memories of our youth. We had fun watching music videos from the 1990s to the early 2000s, especially since most of the customers were in their 20s. Even though a younger peeps surrounded us, we enjoyed our time out without our kids.

Do yourself a favor and try any of the Superfly specials with it, they'll surprise you. They do have a food menu, but it's a martini bar first and restaurant second. The food was pretty decent, but the knife work, plating and ratios showed the experience behind the stove. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could order fish tacos even though it wasn't on the menu. I love a good grilled fish taco so I went for it. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well, the green and orange sauces were good if a little too mild, and the tortillas were the right style but not grilled quite enough. Also, there was very little cilantro or onion and almost no cabbage so they weren't as filling as I would have liked. My wife had the Katsu Chicken Salad. It arrived plated like it was deconstructed: the katsu on a bed of lettuce greens with very thick slices of vegetables around around the plate and the dressing on the side. It was odd, clunky and the katsu was under seasoned. The peanut dressing was divine though, my wife said she could have drank that like milk. There are some other dishes I'd like to try and their drinks were fantastic so we'll definitely try them again.
