A pizza with toppings including jalapeños, diced tomatoes, onions, and guacamole, served with salsa and ranch dressing in small bowls.

Walking into Chuy's is like walking in to your abuela's house food is fantastic atmosphere is laid back and chill and they do honestly have some killer homemade nachos there are sauces are made in-house how fabulous is that if you're looking for a fiesta in your mouth then come on by

A colorful menu card listing food options like tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with prices, partially visible on a table.

Chuy's continues to be one of our go to's for awesome Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant looks so fun and the people have been so nice to us and that was definitely no different this time. On this occasion I got their Steak Burrito which was stuffed with steak, Jack cheese, and Hatch Green Chile sauce. The steak and cheese was excellent with great flavour cooked into the steak. The Hatch Green Chile sauce however was a bit disappointing with it being advertised as being spicy but lacked both spice or really any flavour at all. Even so the the steak and cheese did make up for the shortcomings of the sauce for me. The Mexican rice was excellent as well. All in all another great visit to Chuy's.

A Mexican meal featuring enchiladas with sauce, rice, refried beans, and toppings like lettuce, tomato, and guacamole on a granite table.

Hadn't been to Chuy's in 8+ years and I cannot really figure out why. We sat on the back patio on a fairly busy Friday night, but it was nice and didn't feel too cramped. Despite them being busy, the service was really good. We were also highly satisfied with the food we ordered - the taco salad and a chicken quesadilla. If you've never been and are a fan of Tex-Mex, you should definitely give it a shot!

Chicken Tacos Al Carbon - A meal featuring rice, refried beans, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and a taco, with drinks including a Corona beer, a lime margarita, and a cocktail with mint.

Food was great quality, service was nice and fast. The drinks were delicious as well and the chips and salsa amazing. My only peeve was the price of the food for the quantity given. Being that I live on the west coast now I'm used to be spoiled on Mexican food, but that's okay when I'm back in Florence as the ambience and setting of chuys was really cool and the ingredients tasty.

They conveniently left out the Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and thousands of other religious prayers.. Presumptuous and obnoxious! - A crumpled prayer receipt with Christian religious text is placed on a marble surface, showing a prayer for Lord and Jesus Christ.

Worst "Mexican" food that I've ever had. Super limited menu, and the chips were loaded with salt and inedible. The icing on the cake is the Christian prayers on the silverware wrapper. The conveniently forgot to add Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, in thousands of other religious prayers. Presumptuous and obnoxious!!! And by the way, don't you think anyone who wants to pray before a meal would know their prayer by heart?? Never again!!

Normally Chuy's is very good and quick! We stopped into Chuy's during happy hour and sat at the bar. It took about 10 minutes before someone was able to take our order. Once we got our order in, the bartender was very nice and had a great personality. We ordered the Queso appetizer on happy hour. It took another 10 minutes to come out, even the bartender was surprised how long it was taking. Once we got the Queso it was cold and very small for the price we paid.

Food and chips are the best. Margaritas are VERY weak. Like drinking lemonade. Disappointing.

Overpriced. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes not. A lot better Mexican in the area. Save your money and go somewhere else.

You've got everything from burgers and loaded fries to sushi rolls, which sounds like an odd combo but somehow works perfectly. The vibe is casual and upbeat, with TVs around for games and a lively crowd most nights. It's the kind of place where you can go with kids, meet friends for drinks, or just grab a quick dinner without feeling rushed. Food-wise, the burgers are consistently good juicy, flavorful, and actually cooked right. The sushi is surprisingly fresh for a non-traditional sushi spot, I love the surf and turf roll, me and my husband get it everytime, and it's a fun option if you want to mix things up. The appetizers are definitely worth it too, especially if you're sharing.

The salad is plenty big enough to fill you at lunch. It comes in a bowl with greens,, roasted chicken, pepper jack cheese (my favorite), roasted sunflower seeds, chips and more. The only change I made was I wasn't crazy about mustard Dijon dressing, so I went with the poppyseed dressing. The poppyseed dressing was outstanding. To this luncheon off I had what was probably the best sweet tea I've ever had. There is seat available both inside and outside. The staff is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean. PS. My colleague suggested i tried his fish. That was absolutely outstanding. It's one of those things you try and say to yourself, I wish I got that.

My mom has ate at Bourbon & Brew many times and recommended it, so we gave it a shot. This restaurant is centered in the middle of the gaming area. It features quite a bit of tables, bar seating, and limited booths. The booths are reserved for larger parties. They have a spot behind the bar for live music and have a huge TV above the bar for watching sporting events with many other smaller TVs around the whole area. They also have a scrolling board that will show upcoming game times/current scores. The ambiance is good for what it is. It was nice for us, but we were there before any live music and it wasn't super busy so we had a good experience without having to deal with a lot of background noise. Our service was very attentive and nice. The menu is pretty small. A lot of options that previous reviews spoke of are no longer on the menu. They pretty much offer limited appetizers, burgers, and some entrees. I would definitely check the menu before deciding to eat here to make sure there is enough interest across your group. Three of us ordered the Double Smash Burger and my girlfriend went with the caesar salad. The smash burger was good. Pretty much a basic burger, two patties and your typical fixings. It was a huge burger, so I cut mine in half. The burger came with fries as well. The meal with good just average. Nothing really special or over the top about it. I'd eat it again if I was hungry or wanting to watch a game, but not sure that I'd go out of my way to eat it again. My girlfriend said the caesar salad was good as well. The portion was huge, but it had a little too much dressing for her liking. Maybe something they should put on the side and let you put the amount you want. Overall I'd say this is a good option if you're planning on spending a lot of time gaming, betting on horse races, or watching a game at Turfway. If not, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again unless they offered more options on their menu, had rotating specials, or something that just gave it more appeal to come back. The food wasn't bad at all it just wasn't impressive.

It's fantastic. If you are concerned about the viurs, know that they have an open patio for seating, and signs that suggest you must remain seated during your stay. Not a lot of crowding or mixing is going on, in other words (inside at the bar is another story). Our trivia host was awesome. Our server, Jordan, was too. They have a pretty good bourbon selection and my SO is a bourbon fan. I had the peach smash, which was refreshing, tasty, and perfect for a warm summer night. Our pizza, from next door, hit the spot. I'd love to go back and try the pizza fries, the antipasta salad, and the wings. So, yeah, I'm a fan. I'm not sure how the bar is on a regular night. YMMV.
