    Housemade tortilla soup (cup)

Stopped by Chuy's for weekday happy hour (3-6pm) so my friend could try the strawberry 'Rita on the rocks which was refreshing but in the sweeter side! I had the tortilla soup and it was solid. Broth was tasty and it came with a warm tortilla. Love the complimentary chips with salsa and creamy jalapeño ranch. The decor is colorful and fun, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Great casual happy hour spot!

I enjoy this Chuy's location. The pickup process is quick and easy. Pickup orders always packed well. They brought back the nacho bar happy hour, so yummy. Got a Mexican martini & nacho bar!

About 15 years ago, I visited Chuy's In Plano and tried a CoronaRita. It was love at first sip. The salty sour amazingness of corona with sweet, frozen margarita? Perfect. But I didn't realize when I moved to Addison Circle two years ago, that I would be five minutes away from not only that delicious beverage, but an amazing group of servers and bartenders and managers who would draw me into their establishment with their friendliness and fun atmosphere. The food is good, especially weird dishes like the green chile fried chicken and chick-a chick-a boom boom enchiladas. The reason I keep going back is the friendly service and camaraderie. Because I normally dine alone, I normally sit at the bar or in the bar area, and Emily is a rock star! So fun and friendly and makes a great drink. Also on hand are Kiera and Ray, always good for conversation, and the manager, Amber, has a great laugh. Before Covid, most of the locations had a nacho car. No, that was not a misspelling. They actually had nacho fixings in the cut-off trunk of a car, lol. Well, that's not quite back, but during happy hour at the Addison location, you can make yourself free nachos. They also have great happy hour prices on margaritas and what not. It is an inexpensive way to decompress after a crazy day at work. If it sounds like I am fanboying a little bit, I am. In an old black-and-white movie, Jimmy Stewart said the line, "No one brings anything small to a bar." A bar, a restaurant, any excuse to get out is time to get away from yourself and a laugh with others. That's what I found at Chuy's. Check them out in Addison! Especially Saturday through Tuesday in the evenings. Emily's shift. Enjoy all of the chips and ranch salsa you can eat. And ask for a margarita with a Corona. You cannot go wrong!

Came here on a Sunday. It wasn't crazy busy. Services was great. Complimentary chips were thin slightly salty and fresh. The salsa was good. For the main course got the fried shrimp tacos. Ah-mazing. It hit the spot. The rice was a little spicier than I would have wanted. Refried beans were above average.

Was in the area and decided to visit this location for an early dinner yesterday. The highlights.....the food, management, and prices were great. However, our server was a little inattentive. Not sure the reason but overall the visit was good. By the way, we ordered the (2) taco plate w/double rice and the combo platter w/enchiladas and a single taco.

This was my second time coming here, and unfortunately, both visits didn't satisfy my taste buds. The rice and beans were dry on both occasions, and the soft tacos were underwhelming--I honestly could've made better ones at home. To be fair, I was invited both times, and this isn't a place I would choose on my own. The drink I had was pretty good, but overall, there's not much else to say. Just not my cup of tea, food-wise.

I've been to this location on two occasions with my mother and we both had an ok time. The customer service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. I always order the guacamole appetizer and frozen swirl margaritas. I've noticed the frozen margaritas tend to melt down quickly but the drink is still ok. The guacamole is always great but on my last visit it seemed to be a little less fresh. The fresh salsa and ranch jalapeño dip are good and I always get that to go! For food, I've ordered crispy shell beef tacos and on another occasion the enchiladas. I can say I didn't like the sour cream based enchilada but the traditional red sauce was ok. They only offer refried beans (no charro) and rice with your meal. My mom ordered the taco salad on one occasion and enchiladas on the next. She did enjoy her food but had the same feelings about the sour cream sauce. Overall, it's your typical Tex-Mex.

Look, okay. I'm embarrassed to say I've never been to Chuy's until now but I can promise you I'll be back. Homemade Tex Mex at the most reasonable price around. The atmosphere is pretty eccentric as you would expect and the service is great. I'm sure it can be a lot on a weekend evening, but for a Saturday afternoon we had a great time. The Chuy's hype is real, y'all.

To go version : I was shocked this all so cheap I had to double check everything was correct. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! They included this other sauce that we absolutely loved ! Will definitely be back in person ! The building is so cute and decorative especially the taco door handles !

Nothing beats a good TexMex meal. Panchos with fajita beef are the best. Be sure to get a top shelf margarita.

Good food and good service at a decent price. I'd give it 5 stars if their margaritas were not anemic on the tequila

Is the Nacho car still offered at this location?

No. They no longer have Nacho car but have other happy hour specials now.

Does this location accept reservations or call aheads? I want to bring a party of about 15 people here to celebrate an engagement next week and want to give the restaurant a heads up and hopefully already have a table set up when we get there

Yes they do. Call them ahead of time and they will take care of you and all your needs.

I was planning on finding some local take-out for the hotel room while finishing some work, but ended up eating in this great find within a local strip mall. I had the Taco Plate (3 Street Taco's) meal which comes with rice and beans as well as very fresh onions, radish, and limes for stuffing. I had one beef, one Chicken, and one Chipotle Chicken. They were each great, the chicken was a bit dry but the chipotle chicken was great. Based on signage I had to try the Flan, and boy I was glad I did. It's enough for 2 or 3 but I killed it, it was that good! The service was great, waitress was kind and helped me make decisions and part of the reason I decided to stay. The owner stopped by to say hi, such a nice gentleman who clearly puts his all into this fine establishment. The Ambiance is very nice, clean and uniquely decorated. Not traditional or trendy like most Mexican restaurants, airy and carries an overall good feeling. They have a very nice full bar yet I was not drinking so enjoyed a traditional Topo Chico Mexican seltzer (I understand it goes great with tequila). Their mural is amazing and unique. If in the Dallas area and you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this place is a must try! I will return!!

The restaurant has a warm, cozy ambiance, and the staff was exceptional--friendly, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our visit. We ordered the ceviche, quesadillas, Budín Azteca de Pollo, Pollo con Mole, and a taco from the kids' menu. Unfortunately, the ceviche missed the mark for me. It tasted as though it had been made with bottled lime concentrate rather than fresh lime juice. I also found the shrimp preparation disappointing. Instead of being evenly diced, the shrimp was cut into random strips, making it difficult to get a balanced bite with both the seafood and vegetables. Consistently chopping the shrimp into smaller, uniform pieces would improve both the presentation and the eating experience. The Budín Azteca de Pollo was also underwhelming. The tomatillo sauce had an overly sour flavor, similar to what can happen when tomatillos are overcooked, and the chicken was unfortunately overcooked as well, leaving it dry and chewy. Everything else we ordered was acceptable--nothing stood out as exceptional, but it wasn't bad either. Overall, I really appreciated the inviting atmosphere and outstanding customer service, but I had expected much better execution from the kitchen. Maybe this was just an off day.
