Taco Tuesday! Chose this place bc they have non meat options and margaritas, yum. Next to the register on the wall is their "secret menu" which had fried jalapenos that I had to try. I ordered the fried Baja shrimp (#8), fried fish (#7), and veggie tacos (#6), as well as their seasonal blueberry pomegranate margarita on the rocks. It took a little more time for my food to be ready than it did my sister. When they called my name I went to the counter, got my food and one of each of their salsas. Fried jalapenos were good and came with a spicy sauce. I don't recommend dipping the jalapenos in it, it can't be a spicy overload. My favorite taco was the veggie taco, super flavorful. I wasn't a big fan of the fried fish, it lacked a lil flavor. The Baja shrimp was good as well, but could've used a little more Baja sauce. I was impressed with the margarita although the frozen margarita tasted a little stronger than the margarita on the rocks I recommend trying them out. read more

For my first Taco experience in Dallas, these were just ok. We got the Fried Chicken Taco, The Texican Taco, The fish taco and BBQ Brisket nachos. The nachos were good. Who doesn't like brisket and cheese on chips? They were a little dry, and so was the chicken in the chicken taco. The Texican is terrible. Don't get it. Coming from Florida, I thought TexMex was a complete different thing, its not. And I prefer taco bell crunch tacos over these. But i also don't like Del Taco so to each its own. Can we say tough critics? Jeez yelp. For 2.50 you get solid sized tacos. Two of them were enough to stuff me for the meal. I got the chicken fajita taco and the shrimp Baja taco. Both were on 6 inch corn tortillas and tasted fresh and delicious. I'm a sucker for the Baja shrimp sauce so hands down it was the favorite. First off, this is the best queso I've had in such a long time. I literally couldn't stop eating it and ended up just letting my margarita sit there because it was so good. Only to take a sip of the margarita and see that it too was really good. The tacos. My favorite type of tacos down south, are brisket. That said, I was really impressed with theirs. Then came the tacos...I ordered two fish tacos, a Tex-Mex Taco and a Steak Taco. The fish tacos were ok, but there was a bit too much sauce and seasoning on them. The Tex-Mex Taco was probably the best one, but that is not saying much. The steak taco was horrible and full of gristle. I literally started gagging from it and threw it away. Trim the meat folks, people should not wind up with a wad of fat in their mouth as a result of your laziness. Just nasty. Not hot but I like it. Ok stuff. Green is a nice, slightly sweet tomatillo. Super low but long burn. Nice Habanero is as expected. Hot. There's nothing much beyond that though. All and all, the salsa leaves me wanting more. As for the staff, this can be fixed. A quick pep talk about finding a new place to work. The tacos, I guess it's a Dallas thing that I don't get. After touring the Dallas areas taco shops who serve up a Tex-Mex soft taco, not to be confused with a more authentic street taco, I must say I'm a little disappointed in what I've tried. Rusty's is a bust with terrible service and dry, boring tacos. Fuzzie's is just slightly behind Torchy's who wins for the first moist pork I've seen.
