Brad runs a great bar! Takes care of everybody and the patio has a great vibe. Will definitely come back again.

It's ok, not really into their type of Mexican food. I suppose it would be a great place to me friends for drinks and chip before head out somewhere. read more

Loved the steak burrito in boom boom sauce, and their jalapeño ranch salsa. The staff was good and showed great team effort. The beans were a little blend and over cooked. The only other problem was my food didn't come out until way after my friends orders came so they were staring at their food. I really like how this place has so many signature dishes. read more

I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but chuys is da bomb! Everything from their awesome happy hour, to their open chip and dip bar, to their food, I really can't complain. Prices are very reasonable as well. I always order their taco salad with their signature margarita. You can opt for a dos xx in your margarita instead of a corona, which IMO is way mucho delicioso! Oh snap I'm even starting to bust out the Spanish. Btw, avoid going to the Plano location if at all possible because the Addison location is way better. Why you ask? It's simple. Plano location doesn't have a chip and dip bar nor beers on draft! Practically a sin in comparison! It gets pretty busy during happy hour so don't plan on going just so there's more seats available for me. Thanks! read more

Great Southwestern enchiladas! Love the Queso!!! The salsa was great but a little thin, I loved that it's lemon based though! Over all kids loved it too! Not the best Mexican food I've had but very good! read more

Good homemade Mexican food. Fresh tortillas and tender steak fajitas. Need to work on salsa. Definitely will try again. The outside patio is large and we had a great time! read more

We usually go to the Chuy's on McKinney, but a friend wanted to give this one a whirl. the food was excellent, as always. I think the tomatillo sauce here is actually better than the McKinney one. The server was very prompt with refills, and overall the meal was very good. I'm partial to the Big as yo' Face burritos, esp. the bean and cheese with regular tomatillo sauce. The queso here is also very good. read more

First time eating here, awful experience, food was not very good, and to top it off we saw a small cockroach crawling in the wall right next to the tortilla making area, it was brought up to our servers attention whom then brought it up to the managers attention, he did nothing about it not acknowledged it nor apologized absolutely NOTHING. I wanted to really like this place but it is safe to say I will never come back. read more

I've been working in Addison for the past year and I finally got a table right away at this Chuy's location. The usual wait is around an hour to an hour and a half on a typical weekday lunch, but i guess we got lucky on the day after New Year's. I always order their Elvis Presley enchiladas dish, really good sauce. This time I ordered their Friday's special of green hatch chicken enchiladas. A little bit overpowering by the spiciness, but overall ok. Huge fan of their queso, jalapeno ranch and their cinnamon mint in the front desk. Service is good, just hate the waiting line. They should open outdoor seating during regular hours if possible, or try to expand it. read more

Absolutely amazing food and amazing decor. The place is always full even on Monday evenings. For new people I would suggest to try combination dishes as they are value for money and you get to try variety of dishes. read more

The creamy jalapeno dip is like crack. I am addicted to it. If my coworkers ever want to go to happy hour, I always suggest Chuys. They have great deals on drinks, a free nacho bar, and oh that creamy jalapeno dip. Their actual food is good too, I generally get the shrimp baja tacos. read more

The Chicka Boom Boom is fantastic! If you're going to Chuy's in Addison, everyone is fantastic. Highly recommend:

Went looking for authentic Tex Mex and we found exactly what we wanted. Service superb, food even better. Hot, tasty and timely. And, the prices were more than reasonable for the portion sizes. Enough for take to work leftovers. Our very first trip, but, certainly there will be more to follow! Yummy. read more

Ordered catering from Chuy's today for my employees. We had a fantastic fajita platter of "The Daddio" for over 100 people. We had so many leftovers it wasn't even funny. This location was incredibly helpful in explaining everything to me, helping us with our order selection and getting it ready for a pre-noon lunch for our business. Everyone raved about how tasty it was. Thank you to the entire kitchen staff and to Joshua for making the order happen. read more

Happy hour. Margaritas were good and bartender was friendly. I'm basing the 4 stars on value, service and drinks. I'm not going to grade the nacho bar because it was free. I didn't care for what was offered. Beans had a weird taste. Cheese was a bit runny. I hope the quality was lacking because it's free and that's not what they serve the rest of the time. read more

Today the food was really bad, dry and the chicken with an unpleasant taste. what saved the day was the service and the really good drink.

Great place! Food is good and well prepared. The to go process is well done. I always say to check your order just in case, but it's almost always right here. read more

Came here on a Sunday evening after eating at the original location just a couple of days before. My husband didn't quite get his order right at the first place, so I promised him we would come to a local one when we got home. My food was AMAZING again - Chicka chicka Boom Boom enchilada and a Chicken Velvet Enchilada. They were both to die for. Husband ordered the chili relleno again but with shrimp and cheese this time (evidently you CANNOT add cheese to the beef one for some reason) and he also got a chicken velvet enchilada. This time he was VERY satisfied with his meal, and we both left with satisfied tummies :) We will definitely return! read more

Shortly after the Addison location opened I stoped by for lunch since I work nearby. I had the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas...which were delicious...since then I've been 4 or 5 times and treys many dishes and all were good... They even have something called a rainbow plate which is a free sample of all there sauces "get one" this is now one of my Facebook spots I recommend it. read more

Ok giving a 3 stars for the only reason of how slow they are doing lunch time. Luckily we were seated quickly but waited longer for the food to be served. We ended up rushing and taking it to go.. Food was great just ordered the Panchos appetizer.. If I return to Texas i give it another chance read more

Always busy, but still get seated quickly. Super friendly staff, and delicious food. Sometimes it's a little loud, but hey, that's what happens when tequila is involved. I haven't had anything there I wouldn't order again, and again, and again. Beef fajita burrito is great, and down to their plain chicken cheese quesadilla, still on point. read more

Just about broke my tooth on a chimichanga just now.. weird that shouldn't happen. Its a chimichanga for goodness sake... When i told the waiter he told the manager and responded with it sometimes happens because they make their chicken fresh daily..... and walked away. read more

The food was okay at best. Lack of seasoning. Great salsa and chips though. Very loud in here, unpleasant.

I've been to three different places in two states. The service and food was exactly what I expected. It is never a disappointment. I will keep recommending this establishment to friends and family. I really don't care much for chain restaurants . This is for sure one of the exceptions. Keep up the good work. read more

I've been to the Plano and League City locations of Chuy's and have enjoyed the visits. This was my first time at this newly opened location. I walked into the bar area to sit at a tall table, eat a quick lunch, and see the scores on the NCAA first round. After asking for a menu, I was surprised to be told that I couldn't order off the menu from that table, but I could go out to the dining room or patio, or sit at the bar top that was under 10 feet away. Really? Sounds like a ridiculous rule. So I sit at the bar and watch a rookie bartender completely ignore me as a new customer for five minutes. A different bartender came by and asked if I had been helped. Once she realized that I hadn't and was a little irritated, she promptly got my water and order in quickly. The food showed up fairly quickly and it tasted fine. I will probably try them again, just hope the managers fix the dumb rules and only put people in the bar that get it like the second one did. Go visit the one in Plano if you need an idea of how to run a good place. read more

After a rather stressful morning, my husband suggested we check out Chuy's in Addison. From the very moment we walked in, we were made to feel special. Everyone who came in was given the same welcoming, exceptional experience. What makes this even better is that it was rather packed on a Saturday afternoon. If anything, come here for the best service. Although the food is equal to their awesome staff. Our server Kay was above and beyond any server I have had in all my life. She was on top of any needs, requirements, offered the best suggestions and just generally awesome. Kay suggested the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and was spot on. Delicious is a mild word to describe this dish. Fabulous and filling might work a bit better. You must try the creamy jalapeno sauce! Not hot at all but very full of flavor, it is amazing. While it has been many years since my family and I visited a Chuy's. This location has become a family favorite. We definitely will be going back. Hopefully we'll become regulars! read more

Excellent choice for Tex Mex craving. There salsa is so delicious. There chicken enchilada is so good but just wished there served more enchiladas rather than just two. They do served allot of beans and little bit of rice, I guess next time I'll order more rice and less beans. read more

Chuy's is a great place for quick, good Tex-Mex! I could spend the entire time eating their chips and salsa. They have excellent salsa, which is important to me! This particular location has a very large outdoor patio with fans and misters during the summer. It is comfortable in the evenings and is a great place to dine. The food is always good here!!! Their happy hour specials are good, if you come before 7pm on weekdays! read more

Best mexican food ever. Everything is fresh and taste so wonderful i love it. My favorite thing are the fajitas and steak and chicken and lo e the queso dip its amazing read more

Service was decent. Salsa was pathetic. It's not even salsa, it is pico. At then end of the dinner, we had 7 full cups and one empty, so NOBODY liked it. The chips are super thin and break 50% of the time. The nacho bar is great, if it is full, and needs jalapenos. They have only one draft beer, Corona lite. It gets super loud inside. This is not a very good HH place unless the free nacho bar is the reason you came. read more

We stopped in for a late dinner and drinks on a Saturday night at around 9. We sat at a high top table in the bar and after being seated, no one, and I mean NO ONE, even acknowledged we were there. Several of the wait staff passed by and totally ignored us. We were the only people sitting in the bar area, so it's not like they were in the weeds. After about 10 minutes of trying to flag someone down, we just got up and left. There were several waiters and waitresses that we passed by but they were not too concerned to be losing customers I guess. I'd give them zero stars if it were an option. read more

This is my second time and I'm just gonna say everything ain't for everybody. There's just something about this place that just isn't for my taste. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our waitress was new but she did a wonderful job taking care of us and our request until maybe mid meal. Our chips and that terrible chopped tomato salsa arrived so of course I asked for some of the jalapeno ranch dip because who wants to eat chopped tomatoes and chips? Not me. We placed our order and it took forever not sure why because the place wasn't even that crowded but since I was with my daughter and my grandson it didn't really matter because I was in grandma heaven playing with him. The food arrives and it didn't even look good. There was this thick Chile sauce on my enchilada which I scraped off and covered with ranch sauce, the taco was excellent but everything else just wasn't appetizing at all for my taste. I didn't finish my meal and I absolutely love Mexican food. By now our drinks are gone, our chips are gone we had to get another waiter to bring more chips and refill our drinks. We waited for another 15 minutes to pay our check and no waiter ever came finally I approached another waiter and he went and found our waitress. I can say this visit came with too many issues for food I didn't care to eat. What a waste! read more
