We dined here an again free just a few weeks, and seriously- this place is just amazing at delivering delicious m, fresh food and top-notch service! On a Saturday evening it was not busy and we were seated immediately. This time I tried the Puerto Vallarta. Rice, beans, a chili cheese enchilada and a beef roll up. It was excellent- everything tasted spectacular- even the beef, was just phenomenal, and I'm someone who rarely eats beef, but man; this was just next-level so good! My husband had the Carne Asada Enchiladas with Chimichuri sauce. I sampled some of it, and it too was spectacular! The sauce was bright and tangy- everything just worked well together. The service here is outstanding- attentive and they are just so intuitive. A very skilled staff- we were both so impressed with how great the service is here. True professionals. Came with my coworker for a late lunch/early dinner and the food was spot on! The customer service was amazing and our waiter was attentive. I ordered the tacos - 2 chicken, 1 steak - and while I enjoyed it the steak was a bit chewy. The guacamole was fresh and made at the table but next time I will leave the pickled jalapeño out. The salsa was bomb and even took some home to eat later. Overall, this is a decent spot and I'll be back to try their drinks and other items! read more

I was visiting and met an old high school friend for dinner. I was amazed on how new and clean it was! My rule of thumb is the less clean the place, the better the food is. I know, it's weird. Dropped in with some friends on a late Sunday afternoon. The place was empty and clearly felt we had missed the brunch crowd, if there was one. The restaurant itself was clean, a good size and with friendly service. Food was ok, but not remarkable. However, it's TexMex so I'm picky and have personal favorites. Overall, I'd try the brand/location again. Maybe it was an off day for me, them or both. read more

The Best Salmon in town! My husband asks for extra Chimi for the rice, but I swear - this dish is amazeballs. You get amazing service, the managing chef is amazingly personable and super sweet. Came here recently with a friend and I was just underwhelmed. Nothing about food, service, atmosphere was necessarily "bad", just...meh. It was the Sunday night after Christmas & pretty empty but service was attentive enough. I asked a question about one of their cocktails & our server didn't know. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tried it anyway & it was alright (not great enough to remember what it was - something spicy).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm vegan so I ordered the vegan impossible tacos. I appreciate that they have vegan options on the menu, even including vegan cheese on the tacos, but they were just a little lackluster for me in terms of flavor. I also wish they didn't have to be on corn tortillas - they always seem to fall apart, even if you have 2 of them per taco. I ended up taking the filling out of the last one & just eating it with a fork. Rice & beans were...rice & beans. This may not be my first choice to return to if I pick the dinner spot again but at least I know I won't starve if I do come back. read more

Not sure why we don't visit Cantina Laredo in Addison more. The service and food is always very good and everyone has a smile on their face. This visit was no exception. Service by Esperanza was very good. We began with tableside guacamole. The guacamole is very good, but it is not made next to your table or tableside - at least not on this night. My wife loves the extra thin tortilla chips, but I am not really a fan of them, nor the bland salsa. Why they don't have a spicy or even mild salsa option is a mystery to me. It was a positive for me because I didn't fill up on chips and salsa. For entrees, we both had the Puerta Vallarta - so good! It was a great combination with a small beef fajita taco (they have fantastic carne asada), cheese enchilada, chicken enchilada, rice, and beans. I would have liked a little Pico de Gallo for my fajita, but not on the dish. Unfortunately, we ordered dessert with so little room in our stomachs. It might have been the cocktails lowering our will power to cut calories. Regardless, we took the plunge and ordered the mango Tres Leches cake. It is a large piece with lots of mango sauce. The Tres Leches dessert is excellent!!! So delicious. read more

I hardly give 5/5 stars but this place is amazing. Service is beyond amazing. We were sat and within 2 minutes had waters and chips and salsa. Wait staff are super attentive. Talk about the best service!! Francisco is absolutely awesome!! You never run out of chips and salsa. We sat outside and ordered our meals and again everything was super prompt!!! Nice, smiley people work here. That's always makes me feel good about a place. My friend took me here, he said this place had been around forever. I like to try traditional melas so we went. Lucienda was our server and she was a delight. We got some margaritas which were very tasty and boozy. We did not feel like trying any of their apps so we decided we will have dessert instead. We had the shrimp and cheese stuffed poblano peppers , and not crazy for cilantro rice so I switched to Mexican rice. The other dish was a fajita combo, chicken and steak. Side of Beans was tasty. Came with tortillas and when we needed more it took less than a minute for then to deliver it to our table. Superb. I wanted to try some fries, they were okay. Nothing special, kinda of a small portion. Tres leches cake to top the dinner off. I think it was very delis. I've eaten many in Miami but this one was very good too. read more

We went here for one of my girlfriend's birthday in January. We had an amazing waitress that gave us awesome drink ideas and food suggestions. Hopefully I can upload the remaining pictures later. We ordered the guacamole as an appetizer and it was really good, must order and the queso. I ordered a bowl with steak or Carne Asada which was really good with the flour tortillas. Everyone really enjoyed their food and we will have to plan to go back and try some other menu items. Now let's talk about this margarita!! We all only could order one because it was strong BUT was very GOOD! The drinks were a little pricey but definitely will get your money's worth because they are not stingy with the liquor. I don't want to leave a review because I want it to stay a hidden gem, but ultimately I want it to succeed, so here I am. If you haven't dined here, plan to do it after reading (and loving!) this review. They have an amazing happy hour from 4-7 M-F and all day Saturday with great specials ($6.50 house margarita! $10 steak or chicken nachos! Ahi tuna tacos!) in the bar area, which is when and where I spend my time. Yeri the bartender is an angel and I hope she's working when you go here in a few minutes. The space is large and open, so it can get loud, but the food and service is worth it. The GM Patrick is lovely, as is the whole staff. Secret tip - they have a second salsa that's spicier (at least to this girl's childish palate) and physically hot that is a fun thing to try. They also have Sunday brunch where every meal comes with a complimentary mimosa or bloody mary and the food options are delicious as well. Ok, you've reached the end. My brother moved away from Dallas many years ago & on this visit I wanted to treat him to a great lunch. We pulled into the parking lot & he told me he had many great memories of this Cantina Laredo. We were lucky they weren't too busy when we got there at lunch time recently. We had the best service I've received in a while. Henry kept an eye on my water glass & brought our food quickly. He checked on us often, even if it was just to make eye contact as he was rushing by, since the crowd picked up while we were there. The bar area was empty, this was about 12:15 (make note to come back on a Friday when not working for happy hour - they have a great selection of dishes & the drink prices are average). We were seated at a table near the aisle, in a great spot to view the sun thru the windows. As it got brighter, the shades were shut slightly as to not be a nuisance. We began with the tableside guacamole, although our friendly waiter, Henry, told us they aren't making it tableside during covid. He assured me that it is still made fresh. I asked him to make it without onions and they got it right. It was delicious, and a good serving! The hot sauce he brought us was good, not too watery, the chips were fresh, also. I wanted something different so I ordered the 'relleno de camarones'. Chili rellenos are my favorite but when I saw the listed ingredients I had to try this version! Filled with shrimp, vegetables & spiced up with red pepper - yum! Each bite had something different to wake up your taste buds! My brother had to have the same thing (he IS my younger brother) and he cleaned his plate. I had filled up on the guac & chips so I got to enjoy the rest of mine for dinner. It was my first time going to Cantina Laredo and the food was amazing! The guacamole was made table side and was extremely fresh. My partner ordered the Crab Cake Benedict without bacon and she loved it, it was also pair with a complementary mimosa. We were greeted at the host stand by Esperanza who was also our waitress. She provided us with great service and was very friendly. We decided to sit outside, she continuously checked on us and ensured we had everything we needed. Before leaving, the manager Yeri came over to check on our experience and even offered us complimentary dessert. My overall experience was a 10/10, I will definitely be coming back to this location. read more

The guac and drinks are really good here. When I went it was really windy and I constantly had sand flying into my eyes from a nearby construction site, so use your judgement if you're going to sit outside. Portions are really generous and food quality is great. Our waitress got one of our orders wrong and insisted that she was correct, but overall she was really sweet. read more

Good food, good service. 4 adults & 3 kids in our party. We got their standard chips with a variety of salsas. Like always their food has very clean and crisp flavors. While their kids menu has American fair, their 'Mexican' options are In line with their regular menu: Fine Mexican Food. The Crispy Carnitas Bowl, lunch menu only, is an amazing dish, yes the rice is great, yes the jalapenos are fresh, yes the rest is delicious, however the grilled then fried crispy pieces of pork in top steal the whole show. Waiter was kind, but not attentive. We order Queso Laredo and it was like eating a salt lick. Plus, we ran out of chips just a few bites in and received a refill 15 minutes later when our dinner arrived. By then, it was too cold to eat. So, we left the entire order largely untouched. I had the Casa Rita and it tasted like flavored water. My husband had the Sangria Swirl and it tasted like old grape juice. Needless to say, we left both drinks untouched. My Pescado had good flavor, but the veracruz veggies were a mix of stone cold and luke warm. My meager 1 inch strip of Mahi Mahi was cooked into a jerky - very chewy. The place was deserted on a Friday evening and now we know why. First time here and won't be back.
