5pm on a Saturday is the worst mistake you can make!!! Took us about 15-20 minutes to get in the place because of the amount of parties going on. They another 20 minutes to order. Once I place my order they tell me it's going to be 45 minutes!!! Whatever!!!! I'm already here!! I get the play card and the kids run off to have fun. 45 minutes later I gather both of them up and we head to our table. We wait 15 additional minutes and no food still. I eventually hear over the intercom that they cannot locate #60... That's me!!! The number on the stand on the table like always so I walk up and point at the table and let them know where #60 is! My visit was yesterday. A Wednesday afternoon. Not busy at all. I had a coupon for a large pizza, soda and playpoints for 31.99 I also ordered salad and a bottle water. They also have a promo, buy $20 in play points and get $20 playpoints free. When the cashier gives Me the total its $85. I ask her to repeat my order because that amount did not sound right. She got annoyed but noticed She hadn't given me the discount for the $20 play points. I showed her my other coupon for 100 free tickets for the birthday boy. She said oh just show it to the person at prize counter. She handed me the cups and I asked for the water bottle. She said she'd bring it to my table. Took us a few minutes to find a table because most were dirty and no one had bothered to wipe them down. She never came with the water bottle. When our pizza arrived 30 minutes later, we had to ask that person for the water. The large pizza was more like the size of a medium. Oh and salad bar was the worst I've ever seen. Most of the choices empty. Whatever was full had spill over from other foods. It was seriously gross! The ranch dressing tasted expired. By the way at the ticket counter, I showed the girl the coupon for the 100 tickets and she says I'm supposed to show the cashier and I told her I did but the cashier told me to show her. The real reason I came on here was to give tremendous amount of credit and applauses to jason. Jason was such a great guy. When I needed him he was right there to help. This guy is like no other he always walks around with a smile on his face and it's just wonderful to see the young generation happy. He does his job outstanding. I have a grandkid who worked at a Chuck E. Cheese location and she said Jason did more than just his job. He made the atmosphere feel like we were at our second home, he would constantly talk to us and check if everything is alright. He made us feel welcomed and we really appreciate that. We saw this guy probably work all the spots. He was at the front giving the stamps, he was cleaning tables, sweeping the floor, cleaning the booths, doing the gift center, fixing a ton of games but the best part is when he put on Chuck E. THIS MAN DESERVES A RAISE!!! I have never seen any Chuck e interact with the kids and with the adults as he was. He was playing games with the kids taking photos giving the kids some candy and paying for kids games. This is the best Chuck e I have ever seen. When he came out of the dress room you can easily tell he was Chuck e his hair was all messed up but because he did such a great job. This chuck E cheese's is the worst I've been to. It's dirty with scrap wires on some of the tables. The managers don't have name tags on. When doing the Chuck E dance one of the workers keeps rolling her eyes like she was annoyed by the kids. When ordering the food I had to tell the manager 4 times what I wanted due to her not paying attention, my order still came out wrong and took 45 min to get to me. Everyone working at this location should not be working here. It's for kids to have fun and the workers kill the mood. There were kids playing in the croutons. Instead of the employees replacing the product with clean containers they just added more food on top of the old food. The utensils for the salad bar were laying all over the counter. Food was mixed in with other food. No one bothered to clean the mess. The drink station was wet with spilled drinks and straws every where. There was trash all over the floor and piled up on top of the trash can. I'm mad that I even wasted money here. Honestly if it was up to me I'd give it a 2 and a half stars, the food takes too long usually around 40-60 min long, the service sucks they only have one person usually on the register and in charge of the games and salad bar. This has been out of multiple visits. The salad bar is never fresh and rarely refilled. I could tell that she didn't want to help me with my order. When I ask her to repeat the order so I know what I was paying for she was very quiet about it and rolling her eyes. Very rude. Salad bar wasn't good. We order around 11 am n that bar looked like it wasn't refreshed or cleaned. The restrooms weren't nice missing n broken soap dispenser no mirrors. Restrooms are next to the salad bar n the party area for birthdays. If you needed help from anyone you wouldn't get it right away. My cousins and I went here yesterday because we were feeling nostalgic, so what if we're all in our twenties? Don't be judging, haters! This is easily the GHETTOEST Chuck E. Cheese that I have set foot in. The salad bar was small, wilting, and sad-looking, so we opted for a large pizza. We made the right choice, the pizza was as gooey, cheesy, and crispy as I remembered. Except this time, I patted down the slices with napkins and reality set in. The oil stains closely resembled ink blot tests, which was kind of amusing, but disgusting. I guess it's too be expected, Chuck E. Cheese is not the leader in health foods. On to the games! We were going for 1000 tickets (Angry Birds plushie), but soon realized that our goal would be unattainable. Our sad performances at skee-ball and basketball only resulted in four tickets, at the most. We wasted many of our tokens on the "Price is Right" game, once we saw a kid gaining hundreds of tickets from it. But we didn't have as much luck. Chuck E. Cheese is a casino for kids! Why haven't I realized that before! With our (pathetic) combined total of 333 tickets, we went to the prize table and were placated by a nerf shooter each. Definitely not worth our money. Not too long ago, my girlfriend's cousin was having her birthday party here so I was invited and although I am 23 years of age, I was entertained nonetheless. I have not been to a Chucks since my early childhood and immediately after stepping in the vicinity, my precious childhood memories were solidified. Memories of my parents bringing my younger brother and I to consume top-notch pizza and afterwards enjoying the pastime that was Turtles in Time. Need a kid ask for anymore? Maybe a super cool Stretch Armstrong! As I was saying, it was fun for an 8th year old but the party room of the restaurant is the epitome of "cheesy" no pun indented. I thought they would have evolved with the times but they continue to implant their ghastly productions of lame 70's music as parodied in many shows and films. If you can withstand the torture of those songs then you'll be able to enjoy the food which normally consists of pizza and wings and a salad bar. It's not much of a variety but what do you expect from a children's restaurant? I also want to inform you that every arcade machine is now 25 cents to play and with a deal like that, I don't see why you shouldn't bring the wee ones to this fine establishment. Ahhhh nothing but fond memories of my childhood... Been comin here ever since the place opened in the early 90s. I came here at least twice a month and used all my allowance on tokens and cotton candy. I knew where to get all the free tokens, at the bottom of the ball pit, inside shoes by the ball pit, inside coin return slots, underneath machines, etc. I was always hustlin, even at the age of 6. I once broke open the clown game and starting taking the tokens and tickets. In the process, another kid saw me and his greedy ass grabbed my hair and pulled it back and tried to steal my bounty. I screamed and fought him and managed to kick him in the stomach and come away from the scene of the crime with at least half of the clown game's goods. Took the wifey's four year old cousin here on Monday. The look of sensory overload on his face was awesome. The kid doesn't really eat much pizza, but when we threatened to not let him play until he ate his food, then he chowed down. The pizza is ok for a place that focuses on kids. The crust is cripsy and they make it pretty quick. My wife found a coupon online that got us a large pizza, 4 drinks and 40 tokens for 19$. That was a great deal that covered two hours of fun for the kid. For those that don't know, Chuck E Cheese is a pizza place for kids with lots of games. This isn't your typical arcade and pizza place. The games are clearly aimed at little kids, not teenagers. And they even have a kid size hamster tunnel system inside for the kids to crawl in. Most of the games give out tickets that the kids can exchange for cheap toys. And they make it pretty easy for the kids to get tickets. They also have a system of stamping kid's hinds with invisible ink and stamping the adult too so you have to have matching numbers when you try to take kids out of there. You can't bee too careful with the predators out there. (but they didn't check our stamp when we left, that is not a good system.) So the wife's cousin was total shell shocked when he was there, and totally afraid of the guy in the Chuck E Cheese costume, but when he got home, he couldn't stop talking about it. The Torrance location was our local and closest, Now it's Norwalk off Firestone. We had stop our chuckle e Cheese visits after my son turned 9 that was 2 years ago he thought he had outgrown the place, I think it was the location we had frequent that was the Cerritos across from the mall , On a few visits our orders was forgotten I had to ask n ask & the games weren't updated and way to crowed it made us Forget and not want to visit the restaurant chain, Sad I really liked the pizza with the salad bar. Very Happy to find the Norwalk location and it will be our Chuck E Cheese to go to from now on , Having our baby Ryan who just turned 2 and celebrating his birthday here, He now says Chuck E Cheese please all day since his birthday .. LOVE THE SERVICE ,THE FOOD pizza so so good and the salad bar .. THE PLACE is BIG , CLEAN rides are Newer and 3 Big rooms for the games is a plus everyone was super friendly and a BIG PLUS was CHUCK E DANCE I even wanted to jump in and dance ... This place is ridiculous. We came in to eat and it was empty. We waited over an hour for a pizza and some wings when the building wasn't even full to begin with. My niece began crying from a stomach ache because of how long the wait is, (which by the way, they told us wasn't going to be long) . This was the most raggedy, broken down, dirtiest Chuck E. Cheese I have ever been to, and the worst part is the employees could not care less. We ordered pizza and they gave us an approx wait time of 45 min. An hour and a half later the pizza finally came. The small kid section has about 12 rides/games and 4 of them were out of service. Only 2 ticket counting machines worked, all the others had an error message, the ice cream machine was out of service, when Chuck E. came out to dance his nose literally fell off! He did not bump into anything, causing the nose to rip off, it straight up FELL off. He held it up against his head until the music was over. 3 of the skee ball machines were out of tickets. I took my daughter to the fourth one and after we played no tickets came out. I went to notify an employee and he told me someone would come help me. 10 min later nobody had come. I went back and told him and he said he would send someone right away. Another 5 min passed and nothing. I went back and notified him again and he just looked irritated. Keep in mind this was a Tuesday night and while it was not a ghost town, it was by no means busy. I gave up and decided to leave. At this point I did not want to wait for 1 of the 2 ticket counting machines. I put them in a bag to take elsewhere. I took my daughter to the restroom before leaving and immediately walked out because it was disgusting. Aside from that, the handicapped bathroom toilet was out of service. If I could give 0 stars I would but one was my only choice!!! My visit to this location was on Saturday January 6, 2018. So you all know all the kids start chasing Chuck E. Cheese mouse around when he come out to give kids tickets. All the kids were chasing him (not just mine). It just happen to be that just my sons luck he was in the front of the kid crowd. So me and my cousin were sitting when we saw the mouse (worker) corner my kid into a corner and was swinging his ticket sign at him. Then a worker comes out after and says you need to tell your kid to stop he hit Chuck E. Cheese on the head and now he needs stitches he cut his head open! Really???? I said first of all my son is 7yrs old Short he can't reach Chuck E. Cheese's head! Second of all stitches I said? Well bring him out I want to see my self! I really doubt stitches were is the ambulance did I miss them? Are you sure it was my son or is he just guessing when there was like 20 kids around? Make sure you are 100% sure before pointing your finger at my son. Now the way the mouse (worker)cornered my son was wrong threatening a 7yr old come on. This is my favorite Chuck E. Cheese to go to. There's this special employee there, Teresa, who is always very attentive of our every need. Whenever we ask for something, we are sure to get it right away. She is very special with the little kids. She knows how to entertain them so that they always want to come back. I was here for three hours today. The whole time I was there the cashier was the only one working aside from another guy not working the cashier. The lines were long and there was a lot of employees there but no one helped the cashier. Went to this Chuck E. Cheese on Friday 9/21. Granted it's a Friday night so my Husband and I knew it was going to be busy. We arrived before 5pm I waited in line for about 30 minutes for them to tell me it was going to be a 90 min wait for food. Our daughter was already playing so we decided to wait. I ordered 2 salad bars and of course we go to grab our salad and the salad bar was almost out of everything. We finally get our pizza 90 min later and its not what we ordered. So where do I start? The staff could be a bit more friendly but overall it's understandable every staff member is young. One thing in particular that really disgust me was the young lady that was in charge of handing out the cotton candy I wish I would of got her name she needs some training from OSHA! She had long black hair and was petite. As this young lady was in the booth I was noticing she would be picking her eyelashes( trying to fix her eyelashes)touching her hair and touching her face while having the gloves on that she was using while handling the cotton candy that is really disgusting especially when you are dealing with young children.
