This place is very cute. Came here to bring my almost 3 year old and he really enjoyed it. It's $25 per kid and $5 per adult which I think is reasonable. Probably work for those parents I see that let their kids run loose and they're just sitting on their phone but for parents like myself and my husband, we really can only handle about an hour at this place. Make sure you wear socks or you can also pay $3 to buy some. The place is clean from the looks of it. There are some things that had the paint peeled off and one game wasn't working but that wasn't too noticeable. They have an area specifically for those 2 years and younger and then an area for kids ages 3+. My son did both since he's in between but primarily stayed in the 3+. I'd be back to let him burn off some energy. Only thing I didn't like was we couldn't park our stroller inside. read more

I came here yesterday with my child. I was very disappointed. Firstly, the bathrooms were flooded and smelled. So we weren't allowed to use it. No place to wash our hands after. Secondly, this place is dirty, it looks like no one takes care of it. I mean they had the workers going around with the sanitizer spray but was literally spraying the air. Floor mats were dirty. There's an area outside of the enclosure where they are just storing random things, clutter and dusty. Maintenance people can walk by and there's an opening from the play area where anyone from the back just go in. I think it's not safe. From the outside, it looks big and clean but when you get inside, it feels icky and pretty small. Thirdly, for the price it wasn't worth it. Any child will have fun here, but as a parent I'm disappointed in the cleanliness, convenience of the bathroom and safety issues especially at the price point. My experience at PlayPie in Buena Park was extremely disappointing and upsetting. My son was playing in an area when an Asian family started raising their voices at him and made him leave because their two children wanted to play the same game. What upset me even more was the way the staff handled the situation. Instead of being neutral and making sure all children were treated fairly, the staff seemed to support that family and acted like their bodyguards. We were simply told not to play next to them, while the other family appeared to receive special treatment. I also found it very concerning when the staff told us that we could not sue because we had signed a waiver. That response was completely inappropriate and made the situation even more upsetting. No child should be made to feel unwelcome or unsafe in a play center. Every family deserves to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of their ethnicity or background. Based on my experience, I do not feel that this location is a safe or fair environment for families who are not from the same cultural background as the staff or other customers. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and ensures that all children and families are treated equally in the future. I hade to edit because there was no reply, Thank you for your response. I understand that you may have a different perspective, but I don't expect you to fully understand ours unless you review what actually happened. Your child was not the one being yelled at, and your family was not treated the way we were by your staff. I simply hope you will look at the situation objectively by reviewing the security footage and speaking with the staff who were present. This place was disgusting! Went on the hottest day to stay cool and I was terribly grossed out. You can tell nothing ever getting thoroughly clean. The options for the kids are nice but I had to wash their hands and arms before we left, disinfect their clothes before they got into my car, and re-wipe their hands. Would never go here again. I feel bad writing this review because this place has a lot of potential: it has different sections and the kids were never bored. They had a blast! They don't want to leave even after a few hours. My main issue is with the filth. I've been here before a few years ago and it's no better. The place has an all over sticky feeling, finger prints and visible filth everywhere but then it got worse! I was sitting on a bench in the big kids area and a roach walked by and then crawled behind the benches. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to alarm other parents and kids but I didn't sit or put my belongings down for the entire time I was there. You know that there is a roach problem when a roach is bold enough to be visible where there are a bunch of kids running around. I can only imagine how many more are lurking about. I really hope they get ahold of this cleaning issue especially as a kids place because of how easily they spread germs and get sick. Let me start off by saying that we love this place. I've been bringing my son here since he was 2 years old (4 total). They've upped their cleaning game. Everything seems nicely organized early in the morning. My 3 star rating is about the climate. We went during a heat wave... they had their AC at 80 and the door open. I asked an employee if they were planning on turning the AC on cooler. She said she'd check and get back to me. There were 4 employees minimum. I waited 30 mins and they turned it down 1 degree. At that point I was completely untrusting they'd put the AC down and proceeded to ask for the refund which they kindly did. We went there to beat the heatwave and have our son play around. I think they charge enough to have that AC cranking. I called over to Emporium in Fullerton and they said they had their AC set at 73. I was left highly disappointed with how it all went down. read more

Just from visiting this spot a couple times on separate occasions, I would definitely consider this the best indoor spot I have ever seen for a toddler. It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area. read more

We've been to PlayPie in Buena Park about five times now, and we've had a great experience every time! My kids always have so much fun, and there are plenty of different things for them to do. I would personally recommend it most for kids around age 9 and under. We went on a Friday this time after school 8/14, and the staff was constantly cleaning, which I really appreciated. They've also changed and updated a few things since our previous visits, so it was fun for the kids to come back and see something a little different. They also offer a military discount, which is a nice bonus. Overall, it's a great indoor playground, especially when you're looking for somewhere the kids can play, stay busy, and burn off some energy. We'll definitely be back! read more

There are so many things for kids to do, which makes it easy for them to stay entertained for a long time. They also offer party packages, so it would be a fun place to host a birthday party. It's a fun place for kids. Lots of different varieties of toys, activities, and gym for the kids. The staff also vacuums and cleans very often. However, 2 stars goes to the equipments that are not maintained well. For example, the ball pit has only like 20 balls inside, all pretty dirty as well. There is a spinning machine that is also broke for at least for the past few months in the toddler section. Legos in the book area is very limited to random pieces that don't really attach to each other since it's different brand. The play pretend rooms also needs to be repainted and replaced with new toys inside. They look all dirty, stained, and paint coming off the walls and toys. We've been to this indoor playground previously and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I booked our 4 year old's birthday party here because I could just place my reservation request and then confirm details. No set up, no lugging catering in and no party supplies. You can literally just show up and have the kids run around the playground and then come to the party room to eat pizza, cupcakes and drink juice. This was probably the easiest birthday party I've hosted! Highly recommend this to anyone who just wants to have a nice time without working too hard. The staff were professional and super helpful. I've been to a few of these places and this definitely feels like one of the cleaner spots. It's a pretty large spot too and in the 2 hours I spent here I wasn't able to check out the entire thing. There's a kitty corner for youngsters under age 2 which was nice. A game room to decorate a fish and watch your art work come to life. The same room had Mario Kart with 2 steering wheels for driving but it was much easier to use the arrow keys to play. Also, a giant lite brite. I also appreciate the quiet book area to sit and relax in and flip through some books. The sitting area also had giant animals to sit on. They had a good variety of books available in various languages which was nice. I forgot socks for my infant and you can get some for $3 with tax that have the grips on the bottom at the front desk. This place is so cute. I needed tire my kids out on vacation and this place was perfect. My kids are three and six so this place is just up their alley. They have the big slides, the ball pits, and everything is clean. It was just right. I highly recommend this place if you just want to just have them have their fun as well on vacation. Been here multiple times and like the variety of a toddler area, ball pit, older kids area, play pretend, reading area, Mario Kart and sensory areas. They also have party rooms available. Like most reviews mention there is a lack of supervision. Some kids have parental supervision (like myself and husband all the time) and some do not. No staff in multiple areas to supervise- like I guess that isn't their job. Here's some examples: Our child is 2 y.o. and was in a moving vehicle. He literally stepped off right next to the vehicle really quick and a older child at least 6 y.o. or so comes running in and sits where my son was and we told him it wasn't right. The parent didn't want to fess up. Another time a girl at least 7 y.o. wanted to hog toys and didn't wanted to share. Same girl was tossing snow in the air above the pretend snow area. Same girl climbed to the top of the reading area. She may have had a disability? There's been multiple scenarios like this where young kids aren't being supervised and parents simply aren't around or on their phone or busy socializing. read more

I just added my review on Google but this place was so expensive and for the money you're paying they should have AC at a good temperature not a money saving temperature. The place was so hot inside, my kids were sweating and I was sweating. We weren't the only ones either. Other customers there were sweating as well. One lady brought a fan in and was using it while she was there which should be unacceptable at an establishment. No one should have to bring a fan to keep themselves cool while inside somewhere. I also didn't like that you had to pay per adult that was there. Almost always when I've been to indoor playgrounds I've never had to pay for an adult. They're always one included and most of the time 2 per child. So I had to pay an extra $18 for the adults (it was my mom and I) and for 3 kids it came out to $99 which is a ridiculous price to not have a comfortable temperature inside. My daughter started getting heat rash while we were there so we only stayed 40 minutes so $99 for 40 minutes and we will never be back. Absolutely unacceptable for an establishment to not have comfortable AC going just to save money. Ridiculous! If I could talk to someone in management I would love to. read more

Zero checks and balances here. Very poor supervision, saw several kids hitting each other with the toys, getting pushed/kicked/shoved, big kids playing in toddler area. Staff is busy chit chatting, and if you don't watch your kids, some creep could easily come inside and snatch them and no one would bat an eye. Saw one staff member (a lady in blue shirt) yell at a child to not be in restricted area (concrete) but if she wasn't busy scrolling her phone, she would have noticed that the child was actually pushed into the restricted area after she was punched in the stomach by another child. I've been coming here since they opened the place. They've added some things since then. The pretend play area has been around for a few years now, it's really nice and they have a couple of stations for the kids to pretend play. They added some Mario cart video games too which two people can play at a time at no additional cost which I thought was pretty cool. The place overall is up kept and overall clean. I saw the workers disinfecting with a little mist gun every hour. The workers here were really friendly and involved with the kiddos, for example if the kids wanted a conversation with them they would keep a conversation with them. I saw that they had some regular customers and the kids knew them pretty well which I found cute. The whole play area is filled with cushioned flooring. And they have you take your shoes off in order to maintain the flooring clean and maintained. You need to wear socks so make sure to take some but if you don't they do sell socks there for you to buy. My kids has come here a handful of times with their uncles. It was finally my 1st time here w mama friends. Came on a Friday evening during Thanksgiving break. Not quite too busy. Which was good. Located at the Source OC 1st floor. Great indoor playground for kids. Pretty big and spacious. With a lot of fun activities and play to do. Because of that, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my kids there, as it didn't feel like the safest or cleanest environment. This place was a blessing to take my girls. I have various problems with my foot I cannot stand on my bare feet in socks. This place was a god send, they had medical doctor covers for my shoes so I could walk around! So awesome because I'm limited where I can take my kids with my foot problem. I would have gave this place five stars because it's a great place for toddlers. So much for them to do however as a parent I know things don't stay clean. But you could tell the difference between dirty and just build up dirt from not cleaning. I could definitely say I won't be coming back here. Just the amount of filthy was not it for me. My son unfortunately is fighting a virus after visiting here, not only was it dirty but I've noticed a good amount of children sick. I brought my son here to stay out of the sun but he ends up sick from this place . Instead of the employees just gathered in the front hanging out.
