There were tons of Halloween decorations all over which definitely put us in a festive mood. Camp Snoopy was open to guests because the area was transformed to a Trick or Treat Trail. The trail was included with the purchase of a Junior Tasting Card. For the older guests, bags are available to purchase which allows you to collect candy along the trail with your little ones. The bags are party favor size, but at each station we got three pieces of candy such as Hershey's bars, Kit Kats, Junior Mints, Twizzlers in different colors and flavors, large Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids, Jolly Rancher lollipops and Hershey's Cookies and Cream bars. Our bags were more than half way filled. Guests can also walk through the trail without purchasing a treat bag and just enjoy the decorations. The entrance to Camp Snoopy is through Fiesta Village. A lot of the food and drink items were fall themed, which meant a lot of pumpkin things. We had a couple of MAD Shirley Temples, Graveyard Funnel Cake, Caramel Apple Cheesecake Trifle, Corn on the Cob, Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese, Sausage and Chicken Jambalaya, Boysenberry Beer, Boysenberry Smoothie, Pumpkin Spice Churro Sticks, Orange Creamsicle ICEE Float, Creepy Cheeseburger Slider with French Fries and Cookies and Scream Whoopie Pie. We did notice it got more crowded towards the evening and there definitely were more guests at this event than at the Taste of Knott's. Thank you for allowing families like mine to visit your theme park even without the rides being open. It was so nice just to be able to walk around and enjoy the sights!

Covid-19 review!…read more Since all my fave Halloween events are closed this year, my fiancé and I loved Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween to get at least SOME type of Halloween activity in! The park is fully decorated for Halloween, but unfortunately there are no rides open and no scare actors like Knott's Scary Farm. There are a few costumed cast members interacting from a distance! Parking is FREE! Tickets are date specific and currently sold out. Each attendee is scanned with a body temperature scanner prior to entering. Face coverings and social distancing is enforced. I did notice a staff member ask someone to cover their face in the park while this person was walking around. Staff members did a great job at wiping tables and surfaces. You receive a tasting card which contains your barcode to scan for 5 tastings! I thought it was pretty easy to navigate around the park and find the food stations. There are maps for assistance as well. I looked up Yelp photos and Youtube videos of the foods so I already knew what I wanted. There are a few food items that are available at more than one food station. My initial thought was that 5 tastings for each of us would leave us still hungry but BOY, WAS I WRONG! We shared our first 3 tastings (so 6 in total because we each ordered 3 different things) and we were STUFFED! The servings are fair in size! If you run out of tasting scans, you can buy items for $7. My favorites were the pastrami tater tots and open face reuben sandwich! The tater tots were so flavorful and I thought the portion was huge. You can get BOTH at "Sutter's Grill" (Letter E) in Ghost Town. Ghost Town is located to the left when you enter the park. The "Graveyard Funnel Cake" has chocolate and vanilla funnel cake, but the chocolate funnel cake portion was HARD! While I was ordering, another customer returned hers saying the whole thing was too hard to eat. We just ate around the hard chocolate funnel cake and enjoyed it! We walked through the Camp Snoopy trick-or-treating trail which was cute! Lots of photo-ops inside. The headless horseman on a real horse, actors in scarecrow costumes and snoopy were there at a distance. I noticed some recycled sets/props from Knott's Scary Farm, but nothing scary popping out so it remains kid friendly. I would definitely do this again next year!

My kid has come here a few times for birthday party and independent play time…read more The pros: -Parking is good, plenty to share with other businesses in the same mall. -Facility is decently big, clean. The playground is bigger than other ones I've been to in the area. -There is a cafe place inside with food, which I like because we could snack on something, get drinks and my kid could continue playing. The food is also pretty decent here. -There are many game machines that line the front area leading to the playground (think Boomers Vibe). -The party room towards the back of the facility has decent size, I would say it can fit up to 30 people. -The process is simple: we go to the counter where kids enter to play, pay the tickets, fill in the waiver forms electronically with QR code, then the kids/ adults get the paper wrist bands and can enter the playground. -No shoes inside the playground (there's a cubby for shoes past the playground entrance). Anti-skid Socks are required in the playground and can be purchased if we forget ours. -Employees are pretty nice. They look really young (around early college years just after high school). I hope they are trained well in regards to emergency situation when it comes to kids (this is neither positive nor negative so I'm keeping it a neutral perspective here). The cons: 1. There used to be a person at the door checking people entering and leaving the place to ensure kids don't leave with strangers (just like Chuck e Cheese). We didn't see anyone here upon entering but I ocassionally saw an employee coming back to that spot (maybe their job is not stationed there all the time? Which is strange). 2. They charge one adult ticket, on top of kids' tickets for kids under 7 yr old, which is unreasonable considering adults don't "play" in this area. 3. There is no outlet anywhere at the benchs/ tables so we can plug in our phone charger/ laptops. While I understand it's not a cafe, it'd be a nice feature to have considering the kids play here for min. 3 hours.

One top of the list change needs to be having someone at the main doors, checking and making sure no kid leaves alone or with another stranger adult...These doors are sometimes wide open- not safe- do better please. The check in/ payment system is alittle strange. You pay at the cashier and then get stopped again before the play area gate to review waiver. The workers there are nice yound adults but pretty young- no manager/main responsible person around. Other indoor playground areas do a better job keeping the place cleaner and generally watching over the kids around the facility- here mostly are just hanging out with other employees. I will still be coming here, hoping we see things improve, just make sure you attend to your kid the whole time.

It does have an open space though and plenty of benches to sit at. At the base of the park are water tables where kids can splash around! At night, the fountain is completely different though! The tree roots allow kids to also explore, play, and crawl which is cool! My daughter spent a little while playing in this area and Goofy's How To Yard. During the summer hours, this area is open from the following 8:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M 10:30 P.M to 12:00 A.M It does close for the fireworks and additional shows. I do recommend stopping by CenTOONial Park during the evening! It is a different experience in Toontown during nighttime!

Fun playgrounds and tall slides for the kids to enjoy. There is a baseball field in back and behind that, an exercise area with the typical park equipment. Well maintained. I am sure it has to do with the fact that it is tied to the school next door. The only downfall is the lack of shade on a hot day. We were all baking. I find many people set up their party areas under the small, shady trees on left side of the entrance. This doesn't allow the regular folks to go sit in the shade. Other than that, the girls enjoyed it. We will visit again on a gloomy day or earlier in the AM to prevent the bake.

Nice how there is water play and regular shaded playground area for the kids to choose from. On a sunny day, there will never be enough shade around the regular BBQ and grassy areas. On a cloudy day, it's perfect. My kids had a good time. My dislikes are wood chips in the playground area. I would have expected it to be recycled rubber in this day and age. Less mess. The place feels lively and exciting in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot, especially because I saw so many teenagers jumping around, laughing, and trying different activities. The big trampoline areas and foam pits didn't cost anything extra, and by my surprise, the different sections looked even bigger and more colorful once I walked around inside, which makes them perfect for teenagers who love being active and taking fun pictures. It is a new place to me, but I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy there until I explored the different jumping areas and watched teenagers flipping into the foam pits and playing dodgeball. I really appreciated how easy it was to have fun there without feeling rushed. I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited Get Air Huntington Beach one time in my life before I made this review.
