This is a villain themed trail but no actual villains or treats. Its really well designed with music and sound effects. Dark with a lot of well designed lights. Its basically a themed trail. A nice experience but some might be looking for more. I still enjoyed it, though I did expect actual characters at first.

It was definitely a lot smaller than I remembered now that I am an adult, but it was truly the perfect size theme park for toddlers. It's nice that pretty much everything is included, just a couple of things that cost extra, like food to feed the animals, souvenirs, arcade games, but mostly everything we wanted to check out was included. Our kids are 3 1/2 and 5 and pretty much enjoyed all the rides! The roller coaster is a little rough, but I think it just depends on your kid, since my younger one really enjoyed it. They have food available to buy in the center of the park and tables all around, making it really easy to just take a break to eat something. I like that everything is really close to each other, so you don't feel like you're walking around a maze to get around. I wouldn't even bother with a stroller because everything is so close to each other. The tickets are the same price for anyone above one year old. I do wish the kids tickets were a little bit cheaper, but other than that, I thought it was a pretty fair price, considering you'd probably pay the same amount for a similar type wristband for rides at a fair for example, and at least younger kids can ride all of these ones. You probably wouldn't be able to spend a whole day here because of the size but an afternoon or a morning is plenty, especially for this age range.

She loved all of them! Wasn't scared! There's a baby area on Main Street by Plaza Inn with changing stations and area to nurse your baby. Not only for their rides and the beautiful park, but the variety of entertainment options, disability accommodations, family friendly environment, and the professionalism of every single cast member and support crew. Of course, they could always improve - but I think it's important to acknowledge that you're paying for consistency, maintenance/safety (or at least a bit more accountability), and convenience, much like any other luxury experience.

I will say tho I could make this place so much cleaner with a residential grade swiffer duster... like apparently it's some unspoken rule to throw your hair tie (and a fat gross chunk of your hair) on certain ledges again on spots I could easily hit with a duster. Booking: We originally booked a two-day, one-night stay in the spring but had to cancel due to an emergency. Thankfully, we were able to keep our payment as a credit to use within a year. When we decided to rebook, I had to call to use the credit. The phone wait was extremely long, so my advice is to call as soon as they open. Also, check their website for discounts before calling because the reservation representatives won't necessarily look for those deals for you. Arrival and Parking: Parking was easy in the large garage. You pay for parking based on the number of nights you're staying, and then you're free to come and go. We arrived around 10 a.m. and completed pre-check-in. They let us know we'd receive a text when our room was ready. There wasn't anywhere to store our luggage, so we left everything in the car. Thankfully, luggage carts were available near the garage elevators. Our Room: We reserved the Wolf Den suite, which has a queen bed and a separate bunk-bed area for the kids. We loved that the girls had their own little space! The queen bed felt small since we're used to a king at home, but the bigger issue was how loudly it creaked on my husband's side. Every time he moved during the night, it woke me up. The room was also surprisingly dark. There were a few lamps and lights near the beds and sink, but they didn't provide much overall lighting. We were close to the elevators, which was convenient because we didn't have to walk down those long hallways. However, we could hear people talking and making noise in the hallway. Thankfully, we brought our sound machine, which helped us sleep. We also discovered that our TV remote was missing a battery. We tried calling the front desk several times without an answer, so my husband had to walk downstairs. Once he spoke to someone, they came up to help within minutes. Water Park and Activities: The water park was a lot of fun! I highly recommend visiting when schools aren't on break because the crowds and wait times are much more manageable. Most of the water attractions are fairly tame, although there's a four-person raft slide that's pretty intense. Only two of the four of us enjoyed that one! There were renovations happening during our visit, but we also noticed some new activities, including mini golf and a ropes course. My husband and the girls spent about an hour on the ropes course and absolutely loved it. We also decided to check out the bowling alley, and a kind stranger surprised us by giving us free tokens. Bless her heart! We were able to play a round before heading to the water park. The bowling balls are smaller and easy for kids to handle, and the lanes have bumpers, which makes it a great family activity. We had a lot of fun! Of course, we also stopped by the arcade, which is always a hit with our family. Towels are provided at the water park, but you need to return them before leaving. There's also a shop selling swimsuits, water shoes, goggles, and other essentials. We forgot our girls' goggles and bought the least expensive ones there, but unfortunately, they broke almost immediately. Food: We ate at several restaurants during our stay. Hungry as a Wolf continues to be a favorite! We ordered pizza and wings through the Great Wolf Lodge app while enjoying the water park. The food was ready quickly, and we received a text when it was ready for pickup. We were able to bring it into the water park, which was very convenient. For dinner, we tried the Timbers Table & Kitchen buffet because the girls really wanted to eat there. The food was okay, but I didn't feel it was worth the price. The main benefit was not having to leave the resort. On Saturday, we had lunch at Buckets Burgers & Bites on the upper level of the water park. We ordered using the nearby touchscreen, and the food came out quickly. We had a burger, kids' chicken nugget meals, and chicken tenders with fries. Everything tasted good! Seating was somewhat limited, but we managed to find spots near the bar. Before leaving, we stopped at Wood's End Creamery for ice cream. My daughter and I had vanilla soft serve, and our other daughter chose birthday cake. My vanilla wasn't particularly good, but it was a nice final treat before heading home. Overall: Great Wolf Lodge is a fun place for a family getaway, especially if your kids enjoy water activities. We loved spending time together, and the girls had a wonderful time. There are definitely areas that could use improvement, particularly the room comfort, lighting, reaching the front desk, and the value of some dining options. But despite those frustrations, we made some great memories and enjoyed our stay!

That happened to my 12-year-old daughter on the Flamethrower at Boomers. She had just finished riding and asked to go again. The attendant said yes, then started the ride without checking her seat belt. She immediately began screaming that she wasn't buckled in. The operator showed no sense of urgency. I started yelling, "Please stop the ride! She's not buckled in!" During the roughly two-minute ordeal, the only explanation I heard from him was, "I tried. I don't know what to do." I called across to other employees: "Do you know how to stop this ride? He doesn't know how!" Another employee said he did--and casually walked over. Walked. While my daughter was screaming that she wasn't secured. Where was the urgency? The ride continued through its entire cycle while she screamed. Once it stopped, I got her off and spoke with a manager, but I left without confidence that the seriousness of what happened had been addressed. How can parents trust a ride when the employees operating it appear unable to stop it in an emergency? This was one of the most frightening experiences I've had as a parent. Based on what we experienced, I would not bring my daughter back.

Having visited again last night, I can happily report Golf n Stuff is still a great family-friendly place to have some fun. The mini-golf courses are very well kept, highly exceeding what you might expect from someplace that opened back in '69. With 4 courses there is plenty of fun to be had in mini-golf alone. The arcade is a great size, not too big to be overwhelming and with a great mix of classic and more modern arcade games. Plenty of ways to earn some tickets and walk out with a fun little prize. Bumper boats and indie cars are still going strong- please note if your hair is past shoulder length you'll be asked to tie it up into a bun for the rides. They'll give you a hair tie if you need one. This is also applicable on the little train near the mini-golf. I can't speak for the food as we had a private party, but the pizza and salad we had were great- nothing fancy and exactly what you want at a joint like this. At our private party the staff actually served us our food and drinks which was so different than a lot of places you go today. I think this speaks to the old-school values and culture of Golf n stuff- and I was happy to see so many young men and women working diligently in a place like this. It really leans into a more vintage vibe, considering this place is nearly 60 years old the grounds are immaculate, which is unheard of anywhere near LA. Amazing buildings and hedge arches dot the real turfed landscape. Vintage music plays out of old megaphones. Did I mention the place is massive? The parking lot holds maybe 400 cars, but expect it to be nearly full. It has vintage bumper boats, an arcade and 4 18 hole courses. Pricing is fair, 16.50 a person, and parking prices can vary but are usually free. Whoever maintains the grounds needs a serious raise, everything here is just perfect! COME AT NIGHT.
