Our kids are 3 1/2 and 5 and pretty much enjoyed all the rides! The roller coaster is a little rough, but I think it just depends on your kid, since my younger one really enjoyed it. They have food available to buy in the center of the park and tables all around, making it really easy to just take a break to eat something. I like that everything is really close to each other, so you don't feel like you're walking around a maze to get around. I wouldn't even bother with a stroller because everything is so close to each other. The tickets are the same price for anyone above one year old. I do wish the kids tickets were a little bit cheaper, but other than that, I thought it was a pretty fair price, considering you'd probably pay the same amount for a similar type wristband for rides at a fair for example, and at least younger kids can ride all of these ones. You probably wouldn't be able to spend a whole day here because of the size but an afternoon or a morning is plenty, especially for this age range.

It felt like you were truly in the Wild West. I loved buying souvenirs in the shops. They have a large Knott's Berry Farm official restaurant there as well. The rides are all very unique which was nice. A good variety: there are big roller coasters, fun car/buggy rides, tall drop rides, 3-D rides, etc. They also had tons of great candy stores too. As a sugar lover myself, I throughly enjoyed the candy bins & boysenberry snacks. Overall, a very fun place to spend the day. I stayed all day & can't wait to return again.

The guy working at the merge between the regular line and the "fast lane" in the afternoon at 3:30 PM was the absolute worst. I understand that people in the fast lane have priority over riders but you don't just let 25 to 30 minutes of people pass and let the regular lane on standby. There would be a few groups that would scan in via wristband or with their piece of paper which is fine but there were so many times where the line ends and the guy working would wait 2 to 3 minutes without letting anyone from the regular line go on. The line to get on the actual ride wasn't long at all until it got very full with 30 minutes of fast lane riders which was about 80 to 100 people easily. Once we got to the actual standby line, it started drizzling a little bit so they closed down the ride for who knows how long. We waited and waited even after the rain subsided but they still didn't open up. We waited over 30 minutes and decided to leave the line through the front which was the only way out. After about 10 minutes, they decided to open up the ride which was very frustrating. Two of us came back at 4:50 PM. I'm a tall guy but I was within the height limit. I know this because I've been on this ride a few years ago without any problem at all. My friend and I waited almost 30 minutes and it was finally time for us to get on. As soon as I get in the car, some teenager working there with blond hair demands that I get up so they could measure me. I asked if I can take off my HOKAS which add an inch to my height to which he declined and told me to get out. If I was approached by a Knott's employee anytime within the hour of me waiting my first time around or the 30 minutes my second time to check my height, I would've been okay with that. Instead, I waited almost an hour and a half total only to be kicked out in a rude manner after I got comfortable. My neck also fit the headrest with plenty of room to spare so there was no problem there. My biggest complaint is to the young Hispanic male working the merge that's probably in his early to mid 20s. He was 100% not following line protocol because why would you let 20 minutes of "fast lane" holders through without even batting an eye to the regular standby line even when nobody was coming through? At one point, there were a few guests with wristbands that didn't scan but he let them through anyways. Also, your ride wait times are not near accurate. There were a few rides in Camp Snoopy with a 5 minute wait time and they all took 25 to 30 minutes. The log ride said 60 minutes but it took less than 10 minutes. Most rides said 10 to 15 minutes but actually was a 30 to 40 minutes standby wait time. Knott's is one of those theme parks that only hire incompetent teenagers and kids in their early 20s that know nothing about customer service or safety. Since the Knott's owner merged with Six Flags, I expect lots of changes. First off, paying $40 for parking for it to be way off property past the hotels is insane. The $60 preferred parking isn't good either because it's still extremely far away. Your employees are absolute garbage and need to learn basic communication skills. Lastly, the safety equipment for your rides are all trash. Every single ride needs a renovation because there's rust everywhere and it's very bumpy. Spend more money and go to Disneyland or an actual theme park and not this hot garbage. Easily the worst theme park in the area.

Usually the weather is a lot cooler compared to summer, but definitely not the case this time around! Surprisingly, the park wasn't too busy either, which made the visit even better. I always recommend getting there for rope drop so you can knock out your must-do rides early before the crowds pick up. After that, it's nice to just take your time, grab some food, walk around, and enjoy all the Halloween decorations. There's just something special about Disneyland during this time of year. Always a great experience with family and definitely my favorite season to visit!

I saw 2 fights and there was poop on the kid's slide in ToonTown. The haunted mansion workers used to be my favorite to interact with. They stayed in character that matched the rides theme. To add on to that, the new line extension for the ride looks cheap. I go to Walt Disney World once a year with my family (I wish I could go more). It is awesome there! Whom ever is running WD needs to come to Disneyland, revamp it. It opens during sun down AKA when all the other normies without event tickets get kicked out around 6 PM I believe and of course its an experience that is BEST in total darkness when the sun has already set. Despite going to Oogie Boogie for a couple years already, this was my first time ever going to Villain's Grove only by virtue of the line moving super fast (less than 15 minutes in our case) and that we reached the capacity of the amount of candy that we've already gotten from Trick or Treating. Since this experience has NO VILLAINS to meet NOR any candy to get, just make sure you have your priorities in check. Since any wait longer than that will cut into your precious Oogie Boogie time and that IS a sold out event most years, if not every year. This takes place at what usually is the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and there's a slightly different route if you need ADA wheelchair accessibility. It's a neat experience with "geysers", candles, lights, fog, music, the simulation of rain and thunderstorms that give you a neat villainous vibe from familiar faces such as the Evil Queen, Maleficent, Scar, Dr. Facilier, etc. From an artistic perspective it's pretty neat how they pulled off some of the grove. Make sure to get a picture at the end of the grove when you enter the light. Very cool and dramatic photo for sure.

They also have a couple tall water slides, and basketball pool area, a pool that creates waves, and a lazy river. So many different options for kids to explore. Great wolf lodge also have an arcade area, mini bowling, outdoor climbing area, and miniature golf I did not have time to enjoy this time around. They have really good deals for hotel nights that include the indoor water park tickets. The only Con I can think of about this hotel is the $35 daily parking fee. There is no free public parking around the area. Besides that, we love this place and will definitely come again in the winter.

We have returned year after year, referred countless friends and family members, and trusted this resort to provide a positive family experience. Unfortunately, after our latest experience, we are done. I called approximately one week before our reservation to explain that I had undergone emergency surgery and needed access to our room no later than noon. The gentleman who answered assured me he would make a note and that it would not be an issue. I called AGAIN the day before check-in, explained the circumstances to another employee, and received the same reassurance. I was simply told to notify Guest Services upon arrival. Not once was I informed about a $35 early check-in fee or told that my request was not guaranteed. Had anyone communicated those conditions during either call, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I relied on the information provided by your own employees, only to be met with a disappointing lack of understanding and professionalism from Concierge Willow. To add to the frustration, our app displays our reservation as two adults and one child, despite my consistently booking for three adults over the past six years. The accuracy of our reservation is yet another concern. And here is what makes this particularly disappointing: we had planned a five-family holiday vacation for December. Those plans are now being canceled, and my family will not be returning. We have spent six years supporting this business and encouraging others to do the same. That ends here. Let me be clear: this is not about miscommunication. It is about a lack of understanding, accountability, and professionalism. I am tired of insincere apologies that do nothing to address the actual experience. An apology without genuine accountability is simply words. Garden Grove has countless other amusement parks and water parks competing for families' business. That happened to my 12-year-old daughter on the Flamethrower at Boomers. She had just finished riding and asked to go again. The attendant said yes, then started the ride without checking her seat belt. She immediately began screaming that she wasn't buckled in. The operator showed no sense of urgency. I started yelling, "Please stop the ride! She's not buckled in!" During the roughly two-minute ordeal, the only explanation I heard from him was, "I tried. I don't know what to do." I called across to other employees: "Do you know how to stop this ride? He doesn't know how!" Another employee said he did--and casually walked over. Walked. While my daughter was screaming that she wasn't secured. Where was the urgency? The ride continued through its entire cycle while she screamed. Once it stopped, I got her off and spoke with a manager, but I left without confidence that the seriousness of what happened had been addressed. How can parents trust a ride when the employees operating it appear unable to stop it in an emergency? This was one of the most frightening experiences I've had as a parent. Based on what we experienced, I would not bring my daughter back.
