My family (family of 4) had a blast here! We stayed there for about 6 hours. We did the obstacle course twice and rented 2 kayaks while we were there. Bought 3 food items and a gatorade. But we spent alittle over $300 there on everything! There is a $35 or $45 entrance fee depending on when you come. It's just to come inside the lagoon. If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion. read more

Please be ready to pay for each hour your spend in the obstacle race, other than that there is nothing to do. Can't believe you pay an entrance fee to pretty much nothing to do, they also do not allow outside food and their food is not that great and is expensive. The website doesn't explain all these extra charges, might as well go to Wild Rivers instead. They also stole my son's crocs, I was so shocked that they got stolen! management was super dismissive about it saying they don't steal there but he says they don't have cameras facing the lagoon. Someone else was complaining about the false advertisement from the website and he was super rude to the lady saying "we have plenty of business and that'a your opinion", how rude for him to say that, instead of acknowledging how misleading the cost and description of the lagoon is advertised at their website. The Adventure Lagoon felt incredibly misleading. I was planning to take my kids to the beautiful Splash Park at Castaic Lake, but my son told me Adventure Lagoon was a better deal because it advertised $35 for the day. When I arrived, the employee asked, "Do they want the water park too?" I replied, "That's why we're here." She then told me it was an additional $10 per person. What wasn't made clear is that the $10 only covers one hour. After getting inside, I learned you have to keep paying for every additional hour. For comparison: Castaic Splash Park 2 kids = $70 total Parent = free Adventure Lagoon (calculation based on 3 hours - though I chose this place to come for 4 hours since it was advertised as same price for all day) 2 kids admission = $70 Water park fees = $60 Parent admission = $35 Total = $165 So instead of spending the day at a beautiful lake surrounded by nature, we paid more than double to be at a small water park surrounded by warehouses. The website prominently advertises the day rate and has a big "BOOK NOW" button, but the hourly water park fees are not made clear upfront; you have to literally scroll below the pricing and "Book Now" to see them. Kids had so much fun. The obstacle course was fun and challenging. My kids played tag and a great way to spend for my daughter's 9th birthday. Last year she wasn't tall enough for the obstacle course so this year was awesome she got to go on it. The Adventure Lagoon may be the most fun I've had at any water park I've ever been to! When you are here it feels like you are at a beach oasis and can easily forget you aren't on a vacation. The entire staff here are all exceptional and were very accommodating and friendly, especially Ruth! She has such a warm smile and is so sweet, friendly and helpful and made the time my daughter, husband I spent here comfortable and an absolute blast. A huge thank you to David (the owner), Buzz, Melanie, Addyson, and Jack. They are an incredible team here and do such an amazing job making Adventure Lagoon as awesome as it is. The obstacle course is so much fun!!! There are so many fun things to do here and it is a great time for adults, kids and families! What an amazing oasis! We found this place over the weekend and for $50pp the kids can play all day ($40 entrance and $10 for an hour on the inflatables). We didn't need a cabana as there was plenty of room, but I'd love to do a birthday party here for my kids sometime. They have a well priced snack bar and the place was clean and well maintained. We celebrated my son's 12th birthday yesterday and we all had a blast! The service was top notch, the staff were friendly and helpful. We got VIP service. Everyone was so friendly. Shout out to Dave and Buzz! It was a HOT day. The shaded party area with loungers, chairs and table made it a great place to have a kids party. The water was clean, much cleaner than a lake water. As an adult, I had no issues getting in the water. I had a blast with the kids on the obstacle course and enjoyed floating in the water. It was perfect temperature. Everything is piecemeal. $35 gets you in the park with access to first come, first serve seating, access to the kiddie area (suitable for toddlers and younger little kids specifically), and access to the water to splash around. Everything else, you pay separate. $10 extra dollars for one hour on the obstacle course (the inflatables, there are no free inflatables aside from a couple toddler-size options in the kiddie area). $10 extra dollars for an hour on the kayak $10 extra dollars for an hour on the paddle board $10 extra dollars for an hour on the row boat So if you wanted to do everything once, it's really $85 per person. Which, if you go for the whole day, that's not a bad price. You just can't go in with the mindset that it's $35 or else it's going to be frustrating. They offer VIP seating, which is a small section near the rentals. But it's $150. They do not allow food in the park. They check your bags to ensure you don't have any outside food or drinks. Water is fine. They also didn't have a problem with us bringing in our Starbucks. They have a snack shack with lots of options (chips, crackers, ice cream sandwiches, etc.). Four bags of chips cost $12. They have a taco truck there from open to close. It was amazing! I ordered two burritos, a taco plate, and a quesadilla, and it came to $53 bucks. The portions were big so we could have split plates to save money and avoid leftovers. They also have a Maui Ice truck that is also there daily. It was delicious!!! But warning, the syrup attracts bees. We had SWARMS of bees around us the entire time we were eating the shaved ice. The owner of the truck had a squirt bottle and said it was normal for the bees to flock to the treats. The service honestly could have been much better. They all knew the function of their jobs really well but they did not deliver friendly service at all. The entrance clerk was mostly concerned if we were sneaking in food, the ticket clerk seemed annoyed by our questions, and the guy at the rentals was just going through the motions. We rented a bicycle boat for an hour and the girls wanted the green one. When I asked the guy for the green one, he said no because he already untied the red one. To be clear, it would have taken him less than 30 seconds to accommodate our request. And if it's against policy to do so, he could have communicated in a more customer-service oriented manner. I also found two old life jackets and a scarf floating in the kiddie area. I fished them out and there were multiple dead bugs on them so it seems like they were there for a while. Ages 10 and under are required to wear a life jacket the entire time, even in the kiddie area that is only 2-3 feet deep. Our 10-year old boys were getting annoyed with the life vests--but I get it, safety first. There were lifeguards all around, except no lifeguards on duty in the kiddie area yesterday when we went. A woman near us ran from her lounge chair into the water screaming when she saw her 5 year old trapped under an upside down tricycle boat. The kiddo was fine. They have cute activities like tether ball, jumbo jenga, jumbo connect four. But it was too hot so we didn't do those this visit. Not a perfect experience but I'd definitely go back. The kids had fun. Tips for next time or first timers: - The parking lot is small. I have been here twice now and both times I have noticed a man with binoculars looking out at fellow patrons for a long time. My daughters have said how uncomfortable this makes them feel and I have even noticed him looking in our general direction multiple times for long periods of time while my daughters are here with me. I don't even see other lifeguards with binoculars and this place, in my opinion, is nowhere near big enough to even need binoculars. I have also seen this man lead a group of teenager girls whom he had just met and take them to the VIP section. Mind you this guy looks like he's 60 or 70. I've asked around about him and I guess he doesn't even work as a lifeguard. What a fun time!!! The kids and adults had fun time. The whole thing is great! So I won't repeat all the great stuff others have wrote about of the toys and obstacle course, cuz it's all true. Staff was friendly and welcoming. It wasn't busy and plenty of parking and seats and shade. We brought chairs and umbrellas, but didn't need to use them. Tho, I'm not sure if there's any place we could have set them up. I used a wagon to bring our stuff in, but was told to collapse it once we got to our seats. I would have preferred to keep my bags in the wagon, cuz things got sandy. Few things though tho... there was a lot of algae so that was unnerving. And the beach was rough to walk in. Very pebbly and occasional rocks. Fortunately no major cuts. So maybe water shoes would be handy. One food truck and everything is $15. Simple food, but pricey. Just want you'd expect at any waterpark. Bathrooms are clean and sunny. They have separate changing rooms, but no doors?? They have water toys you can borrow, but please make sure to return them after your done. Ladies... be thankful for the lifejacket when you're on the obstacle course, cuz my bikini top wouldn't have held up with all the splashes, slides and jumps. And expect to get a few wedgies. I called to verify, and the gentleman who answered the phone told me that they had not updated the website, but they are open. He told me to purchase tickets & waiver at the facility. Went here to celebrate my husband and brother's birthday and it was so fun for adults and Littles! We did one hour of the obstacle course which was fun and challenging for the adults and children that did it. We also played volleyball, lawn games, and utilized the toddler area. The owner, Dave, Manager, Yesenia, and the security guard was it Beast? Lol not sure if it's a nickname but the Samoan dude, all were super helpful when my moms car battery died. They all got together to find cables and the Security Guard helped Jumpstart my moms car. Super sweet of all of them! Cons - Parking fills up quickly but the owner did say he's working on getting a shuttle system going. - Wish there was more seating areas. We arrived right when they opened on a Saturday and most of the loungers were full but it was also a holiday weekend. - More food options would have been nice since they don't allow food. I can see maaaaaaybe $10!!! It's not like it's an amusement park One hour: so we got there at 11:30 and the next session to play (and literally there were only ten other kids) was at 12:00pm. We boys entertained themselves with their Jenga and tetherball (but like it's so janky come on). The kids played for an hour in the inflatables and really enjoyed but I kept and eye on them cuz like others pointed out, the lifeguards are young and chatting with their friends. Promptly at 1:00 the session was done. You can't bring drinks or snacks and they're strict (I heard a lady complain her bag was searched) And just to really paint the picture....this is such a janky place. Like in The background there was legit construction and rubble from being in an industrial area. Which is fine but be realistic that should be a $15 place not $45 for kids to play ONE HOUR!!!!!!!
