    Hoppers exhibit
    Ann T.

Visited and walked through as a non hotel staying guest. I heard that they had a "Hoppers" exhibit since the movie is out in theaters. It's walking distance from Downtown Disney on the side closest to Din Tai Fung. You have free reign to just walk in and enjoy the facilities and visitors have access to the second floor. LOVE all of the attention to detail, great for any Pixar fan. The Luxo Pixar ball walkway lights outside, the little Wall-E next to the fire extinguisher, and all of the art and decor. You can also meet some characters here like Wall-E and Eve and Bing Bong. Super neat. Definitely stop by the second floor foyer area, even without a seasonal limited exhibit, the decor for the classic Pixar characters is impressive. But if you do catch the "Hoppers" exhibit, it's perfect if you're a fan. Lots of concept art, story boards from the movie, how they made the movie, the research they did, lots of art to look at, sculptures of the characters, and much more. A must if you're just casually visiting in the area.

Good: Disney property, ambience was very nice, walking distance to park was ok (we've stayed across the street with a much shorter walking distance), vending machine drinks were $2 cheaper then in the park, gift shop is open early if any needs were needed, fridge actually worked at keeping things cold right away, AC worked great Bad: standard room size was really small, water pressure wasn't good at all, beds were way too soft, couldn't use the luggage carts without having a cast member right there with you (awkward having them grab bags with your dirty clothes in them) Would we stay again? Probably not. Recommend? Yes We stayed hoping it would be the kind of experience where we couldn't wait to come back. My wife and i both agreed that it was nice, but we'd rather stay at Camelot across the street At least we can say we stayed at a Disneyland property.

My family and I stayed at Pixar Place 1/3/2026. It was the perfect time because it was their slow season and they have their Christmas decorations still up. Pixar Place is directly across from DCA and Grand Californian. As a matter of fact, if you are in the higher rooms, you can see the water show at night as well as the firework show. Sadly, today was next to the last day that Disney is having early entry for hotels guests. The entry through the side of Grand Californian is now shuttered. Service here is 10/10. Check in was amazing. We had the club room with a designated concierge check in area. They sent down a concierge to personally walk us to the lounge. Wow! We came in at 10am and while the room wasn't ready because I chose to upgrade to a high floor with the view of DCA, they let us hang out at the lounge. Plus after we checked out the next day at 11am, they let us use the lounge until 1pm! The lounge is small. It was a bit of a letdown. The food offerings were subpar. They did have soda in a fridge. I expected more from a Disney lounge. Even though it was a slower time for them, on weekends the lounge was packed. The problem is they didn't plan for it. For dinner they had a potato bar. They ran out of Potatoes and subbed Tater Tots. What?? Then they ran out of that 20 minutes before the end and my teenagers were hungry. If they are like this on a slow day, I hate to see what it's like in the summer. This is where service might've been better. I mentioned this in a QR code provided at every floor asking how they were doing. No answer. They sent an automated email after my stay. No one from Disney reached out. Hence the 4 stars. The room was clean and spacious for 5 people. The theme in the room was Toy Story related. The beds were comfy. Amenities provided were great. I needed slippers and they responded quickly. The pool was amazing as well. Beware they have tight security getting in. They check you in and put a wrist band on for your stay. It's not the biggest pool but the slide is fun. They have yard games also by the pool. Bing bong walks around the hotel which is a highlight. Also they have a pianist who plays jazz music in the lobby. It's not like the Grand Californian lobby but it's ok. It has more of a hotel feel than a resort. I would stay here again!

Stayed at Disneyland Pixar Place for the first time. Walking into the lobby was super cute where you see the giant Pixar lamp. Entire lobby is decorated with hidden Pixar friends. Rooms are a decent size but a bit smaller compare to surrounding hotels that I've stayed at. Bed is comfy. Room is clean! Shower door does have a gap with no protection strip to cover it so the bathroom floor got kind of flooded. Used about 4 towels just to clean it up. Overall I would love to stay again but price will keep me from staying there. But it was a great first time experience. Staff were super friendly.

Honestly I was extremely Impressed with our stay at Pixar place hotel! The room was extremely clean and the best was probably the most comfortable bed that I have slept in at any hotel. Just a quick walk to the parks this is at an ideal location. We accidentally left out magic band chargers in the room and we were able to easily stop by the next day to snag those. We can't wait to stay here again!

OMG we just home and what a Fun Beautiful Hotel. The whole place was so happy and people always asking if you need help. And the Great Maple Modern American Eatery was So Awesome the rooms are so Amazing and lots of Lights. And the front desk girl Spencer was so nice and friendly she got us a Beautiful view room. Pixar was just a Great place to stay. And for 8 days too !!!...

What a great hotel. As soon as you walk in you feel as though you are in a Pixar movie. Everything from the ceiling to the floor was perfectly thought out. This hotel is also home to the pop up Pixar Putt (which I will write a separate review for). The hotel staff works hard so be patient and kind. Can't wait to enjoy another stay here.

Visited last week and thought they did a nice job of updating it. It is filled with cute Pixar themed decor now and sometimes a Pixar character is walking around, who you can take pictures with. Everything was so cute and I loved the Christmas decorations. The beds are still comfortable and there is a good amount of space in the room. I like that they added a coffee shop. It opens at 6 and it is nice to find coffee before heading to the parks. My go to was a cold brew with vanilla and oat milk. Very delicious! They have some eats too - fruit, pastries, goodies. All of them looked good. We did not try the actual restaurant but the menu looked good. It is about a 10 minute walk to get to the monorail and about 15 to the front gates of both parks. Try to enter downtown Disney through the Grand California or there are two security gates located near the Disneyland hotel. My only gripes are the elevators are still slow and they are getting rid of the hotel perks which were my reasons to stay. The Pixar only path to California Adventure and the advantage of early entry, which allows you to get in the parks 30 minutes before everyone else, will not be a thing starting next year. It is a bummer because they both were very helpful. Hopefully they will be rewarding guests with something else. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

When visiting the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, there are many of options both on and off the Disney property. With this stay, I now have stayed on every on Disney property hotel. I wish I could say I saved the best for last, but I was disappointed compared to the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel. Likely a one and done stay for me. Here is a list of the pros and cons to this Disneyland hotel property: Pros: - Own entrance to Disney California Adventure across the street that enters near Corn Dog Castle - Firework viewing on floor 3 with music synced - Door entry key on Disneyland mobile app - Ability to check in/out on Disneyland app Cons: - Entrance to Disney California adventure is only open to 12pm, but can exit all day - No room service like Disneyland hotel - No amenities like a dental kit that I've received at both the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel - Limited dining on property that is lackluster (both ran by Great Maple) - Price point (not worth $600+/night) - No shuttle stop for RunDisney event - Early entry is sunsetting in January 2026, so the small perks of staying on property are diminishing Overall, my stay at Anaheim Majestic Garden have been similar to this stay to be completely honest, at 1/3 of the cost. I actually prefer the dining at Anaheim Majestic Garden, though I will admit the quality of the room at Pixar Place was much better. The theming is nice, but I much prefer the Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian Hotel if wanting an on property hotel experience.

This was my maiden voyage staying at the Pixar Place Hotel and I honestly was pouting a bit before coming on property, having been "spoiled" by staying at the original property hotel on many occasions. However, once my BFF and I arrived on the Pixar property ALL of that instantly faded away. As soon as you walk into the hotel you are greeted by the friendliest staff. This continued throughout our four day stay. From the front desk, to security, to housekeeping, to pool staff...EVERY single one of them is kind, gracious, engaging, and makes you genuinely feel special and welcomed for staying at their hotel. The rooms are beautifully Pixar themed and have so many wonderful touches that just made me happy to discover. All rooms are themed the same and I loved that we even had the Pixar Lamp in our room! Each floor when the elevators open reveal a beautiful mural of a Pixar movie. These range from Finding Nemo, to Soul, to Turning Red, to The Incredibles. This is such a lovely touch. Speaking of elevators, outside of each of the four elevators is a console where you enter the floor you wish to go to and it then tells you which elevator to go to. This is a very nice feature for those who don't want to have to worry about little Johnny wandering into an elevator and pressing all of the buttons. The pool area and gaming area on the third floor is beautifully designed and has many different areas for families, couples, or even singles to enjoy. Another bonus about staying at the Pixar place is the close proximity to the entrance of Downtown Disney or crossing the street and entering through the Grand Californian. Either is easy and convenient. My ONLY request is please please please place bathrobes in the rooms for guests to use. This would be the cherry on top for this lovely property. I DEFINITELY will return and look forward to staying again! Thank you for a memorable first visit!

First time booking here at Disneyland resort! Very pleased with the staff, the cleanliness & not crowded at all. The only downfall I had was upon checking in I only had a balance $886 due but when I checked my bank I was charged $1515 w/ my debit card ($250 hold + other fees) that were not stated upon checking in but a few days later I got the remaining funds released. I was told paying with credit cards are more lenient with fees than it is with debit cards... but happy to have that resolved now. Pixar putt... highly recommend!

We had amazing celebration experience while stay at the Pixar Place hotel! 10/10 would recommend for family's and couples and friend groups! The cast members are so incredibly kind and helpful. Warm and welcoming all hours of the day! We also stayed club level and LOVED all the amenities and snacks through the day! They were so prompt to offer anything and everything to make your day better. My ONLY complaint is about the slow elevators, but just be patient! Such a fun themed hotel and a great pool area! So close to the parks and easy to get to food in and around Downtown Disney! Andrew, Summer, Marion, and truly ever cast member there was making our day everyday! I can't rave about their great energy and super abilities enough.

On my most recent stay, I was placed in a handicap accessible room that I did not request when booking. Not a huge issue, but definitely not what I expected. During the stay before that, on my last day, I stopped at the pool bar to relax and have a few drinks. The entire time, the bartenders and wait staff were either on their phones or arguing with each other. It made for a pretty uncomfortable atmosphere and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. On the stay prior to that, I had a very negative interaction with a manager, which I reported in a letter. The response from the hotel was lukewarm and didn't leave a good impression. I felt I was treated poorly, especially for a property at this level, and the small number of points offered felt more dismissive than helpful. On top of that, tours were repeatedly brought through the gym while my guests and I were trying to work out. I understand the space may be open, but having multiple groups walk through filming on their phones, combined with the manager's reaction and comments, was frustrating and honestly left a lasting negative impression. I will say the front desk staff are excellent and the housekeeping team is outstanding. Unfortunately, the issues with other areas overshadow the great work they do. Parking in the area usually runs $25-$45 a night, and we got free parking. We also had breakfast both days, which I'd easily value around $40 for a family of four. That's already close to $100 in savings, so you're really looking at about $180 for the room itself. You also get a trolley/shuttle to Disneyland, which adds even more convenience. We arrived early in the morning before check-in and were still able to grab breakfast. Even though the room wasn't ready yet, the staff let us check in smoothly, and we got the room later in the afternoon without any issues. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not luxury, but well-maintained and exactly what you need after a long Disney day. Location is a big plus -- close enough to walk to Disneyland, which is huge when you have kids and don't want to deal with parking or long shuttles. Breakfast is one of the better continental options. Not a fancy buffet, but solid and convenient before heading out. Service was friendly and efficient. Staff handled early arrival well and made everything easy. Only downside -- I didn't notice an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. You can also hear the trolley at times, especially at night, but it wasn't a big issue for me. I saw this mentioned in earlier reviews and it matched my experience. Overall, once you factor in free parking, breakfast, and the shuttle, it's actually a great value for Disneyland. Clean, easy, and family-friendly. I would come back.

When something has gone wrong, they've handled it without making me feel like I was asking for too much. The rooms are worn, it's an older property, but the pool, hot tub, and gym check all my boxes. Breakfast is standard Hyatt House fare. The location is fantastic- walking distance to Disney, right next to a Walgreens, CVS across the street for everything you forgot to pack. It's also right next to a mobile order Starbucks so you're ready to grab your caffeine and hit those parks!

The pool area is really nice, with plenty of lounge chairs, shaded areas, and towels provided. They also have fun extras like cornhole and an outdoor shower. Breakfast is included, which is always a plus, and there's also a bar with a great happy hour for both drinks and food. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities - they have a list of items you can check out, like a steamer, full-size coffee pot, a high-powered blow dryer, and even items for kids' sleep needs. There's also a mini market in the lobby with snacks and essentials, which was very convenient. The staff was super friendly throughout our stay. Parking is available underground for $40. The only downside is it can be a bit loud. You can hear all the noise and movement of people in the hallways and upstairs, and if you're in the street side, you can hear street noise as well as. Overall, the whole guest room space felt a bit like a dorm setup, but it had everything you needed and a good amount of space. Overall, a really convenient and comfortable stay in a great location. We'd definitely stay here again!

And, honestly, for a place so close to a theme park, I was kind of expecting to be ripped off. Shockingly, I wasn't! The check-in was super easy and the guy at the front was really nice. Unfortunately, I've been getting used to abrasive front-desk people, so it was great to have someone pleasant. The room was a little tricky to find, but once we got in, we were very impressed with how wonderfully clean everything was. Having stayed at so many hotels for family trips, work trips, and just to get away, I will say that the cleanliness of this hotel is above average. Even the elevator smelled nice. We got the one-bedroom with 2 queens room. These beds were very comfortable, almost like home. The sheets were hotel sheets, so fine I guess. I got a pretty decent night of sleep. The living room pull-out sofa was actually kind of comfortable too. In the morning, we went to the huge breakfast area that actually featured some really great stuff. Having a food allergy, I'm used to being disappointed at free breakfasts. Sunday, I was spoiled for choice. Monday morning before we checked out, a little less so. Finally, the highlights and let-downs: the biggest highlight for us was our room location. On the 4th floor, facing Disneyland, we got a free fireworks show from bed both nights. It made the whole experience much nicer for me. However, the let-down was that the builders cut corners and the walls are very thin. On Sunday morning, I could hear every single door opening and closing, every heavy-footed person walking, every time the elevator came. It happened overnight as well, but I always bring ear plugs to hotels. Overall, it was great - just wish the walls had more insulation.

When I told the supervisor about the dirty bedsheets that I need help changing them, she rudely brushed me off "that's fine that's fine" without any acknowledgement nor apology. In the middle of the shower, I found out there's no body wash. The same housekeeper who had a bad attitude with my sheets changing request, brought up the shower gel and expected me to change it myself again while she's... eating chips. Please get better housekeepers than this before your housekeeping completely ruins the Hilton name! I give 0 stars for this housekeeper. Other than that, the room is spacious and in good location close to Disneyland with many restaurants. Pictures after I already brushed off a lot of these black dirt on the sheets and cover.

Had an amazing stay here for another last minute trip extension. I had a warm welcome by the front…read moredesk and got my free cookie! The older gal was very helpful in answering my questions about the bus that goes to Disney I believe it is route 3 and comes every 30 minutes to the street side of the hotel. My partner and I did the walk there as we went late at night . It's about 28 minutes but we walk fairly fast so we got there in 20 minutes . The Toy Story parking lot is only a 15 minute walk and the bus take you to the park. So another option when got to the park. Room review it is really not that bad. Yes it is outdated but that is how it show on the website so you know what you are getting into. If it's not your style you can put a little extra money into the higher end Hiltons. But everything was very clean. There was no old smell. The water pressure was really great and the water heated up really fast which is great after a day in the parks. I believes some of the rooms have the sofas so it's kind of like a living room and bedroom vibe. This is great if you're taking a large family some people can sleep on the couch even. You have a nice hangout space if you have a break from the park. It is about the same price or less the regular room . We were able to get our room $113 after taxes and parking it was $180. The parking was $30 which is a given at any hotel by Disney. Regardless if you were to drive to Disney each day it's about the same price each. It is a compromise to be in a close distance to the park to walk pretty close and have a shuttle. I think it breaks even with making sure that your car is safe. Yes it sucks paying for parking but almost every hotel near Disneyland charges for parking each night. Also, the room does come with a fridge and microwave if you were trying to save and be budget friendly you can bring your own food when going to the parks or just traveling in general. I am excited to come again.

I was comfortable enough to walk barefoot and had no need to take off the extra sheets on the bed like at other hotels. Sheets were clean. No stains. Didn't see much dust. Assisted us with the gated parking and was able to find plenty of space for our vehicle which was $14 for one evening. Haven't stayed at an Ayres since the pandemic. Fantastic to have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and breakfast included in the stay as most of those were not available in 2020. Our room was clean with two comfy queen sized beds. Hubby was not able to get good night's rest in the room but, I was able comfy and slept well. Also, the AC worked just fine. Enjoyed the morning breakfast and got there well before the big groups of guests did. The hot items were at a station and you have to inform the gal if you want eggs, sausage, and or hashbrowns. Cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, juices, donuts and coffee was at self serve stations. Check out was easy and we returned our keys to the courteous front desk clerk. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. 4 stars.

I also love their heated pool that stays open til 10pm for the kids. And this location has the perfect feather pillow that molds around your head - great for back sleepers. I really wanted to steal one! I'd also like to mention that the breakfast is usually slightly different if you stay 2-3 nights. I appreciate that. The only issue we had (that I still need to resolve) was at check out she just asked if I wanted a receipt. She didn't say a total or go over charges. I said no becuase I expected it to be 80$ (40 each night for parking). But on my drive home I saw a 200$ charge go through. I tried to call while driving home but the call wouldn't go through. I am confident they will fix this for me. The best part of this stay was I used my chase saphire card to book and got a real value using points boost. We were going to Disney, but when I booked I had no idea it was a 8-10 minute walk. It really was great. We came home mid day when it was hot and napped and rested and then went back for the evening. Oh, and I loved the large large dining area for breakfast. We had been at a different holiday in express the night before that was nearby and it barely had any seating for breakfast, so I really appreciated this. We also got to see the Disney fireworks outside our hotel window. Tip- ask to be not on the side facing the freeway. It's pretty close and loud.
