Good service, complimentary breakfast and parking and trolley service. Room was clean and a good size for 2 people. My favorite items from the breakfast were oatmeal, banana, pound cake, hard boiled eggs, and the cheese cubes. The shower had what looked like 2 faucet types...the lower one had water that was too strong at times. Parking spaces were ok the narrow side but thankfully there were a good number of spaces open. Stayed at Candy Cane Inn for a Disneyland trip and paid about $280 for one night. At first it feels pricey, but once you factor everything in, the value is actually there. Parking in the area usually runs $25-$45 a night, and we got free parking. We also had breakfast both days, which I'd easily value around $40 for a family of four. That's already close to $100 in savings, so you're really looking at about $180 for the room itself. You also get a trolley/shuttle to Disneyland, which adds even more convenience. We arrived early in the morning before check-in and were still able to grab breakfast. Even though the room wasn't ready yet, the staff let us check in smoothly, and we got the room later in the afternoon without any issues. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not luxury, but well-maintained and exactly what you need after a long Disney day. Location is a big plus -- close enough to walk to Disneyland, which is huge when you have kids and don't want to deal with parking or long shuttles. Breakfast is one of the better continental options. Not a fancy buffet, but solid and convenient before heading out. Service was friendly and efficient. Staff handled early arrival well and made everything easy. Only downside -- I didn't notice an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. You can also hear the trolley at times, especially at night, but it wasn't a big issue for me. I saw this mentioned in earlier reviews and it matched my experience. Stayed for three nights and it was comfortable for my family and I. Great beds, friendly staff, and nice breakfast. There was always staff everywhere keeping everything stocked and keeping the grounds clean throughout the hotel. Water and coffee are free in the lobby. No issues with finding parking, which was free. Water pressure was very strong. In good way, or bad way, depending on your preference. I thought it was great and so much water came out at one time, making showers faster for me, personally. There is a shuttle that takes you to the Disneyland park and it was spacious and comfortable. The only con is that at night it can be heard while it leaves the parking lot. The rooms are motel style so the rooms can hear things outside. Not a huge issue. Breakfast was nice and provided many choices. Cereal, oatmeal, muffins, breads, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cheese, and breakfast sandwiches with egg and sausage or bacon inside. Something for everyone and breakfast can be eaten by the pool outside. Lots of families here and it felt very safe. Walking distance to Disneyland as well. Had a nice stay at this accommodation and would recommend it because of its a decent price and proximity to Disney and also Walgreens and another souvenir shop next door. read more

Clean rooms. We had the premium rooms which offered complimentary snacks and breakfast to be brought to the rooms. I wasnt a fan of the breakfast selections but there was a variety of options so there's something for everyone. The staff is amazing and so helpful with any requests or questions. There is a shuttle to the parks but it's close enough to walk so I decided to get my steps in. The pool area is nice and the even have a kids pool (2.5feet). Check in and check out is a breeze. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is stocked with soaps, towels, etc. They offer robes and slippers which are nice and the turn down service is a great touch. I went back after they did their renovation and I can honestly say I love how they fix up the rooms. It looks super modern with new upgrades like lights, floor, mirror, bathroom, etc. They even have breakfast included and also free parking. The works here are nice and friendly. Every time I stay here I feel like I'm at home. They even transform their shuttle into a trolley which looks cool. The trolley take you and from Disneyland Resort. Don't forget there's even an ice machine in the center of the Inn and right next to it is a laundry room in cast you need to wash and dry your clothes. I never had any issues staying here which make me want to come back. read more

Candy Cane Inn is located conveniently on Harbor Boulevard within walking distance (10 minutes) to Disneyland (although they do also offer a complimentary shuttle every hour to/from Disneyland) In addition to the complimentary shuttle, Candy Cane Inn offers free breakfast and free parking. The breakfast consists of an assortment of croissant sandwiches, donuts, pastries, fruits. They also have a waffle maker and pancake maker. We had a two queen sized bedroom and it was a good size. The tub/shower worked well. The fridge was a good size and there was also a microwave (which we didn't use) Our only small issue was the parking lot spaces. It seems that everyone was driving large trucks/SUVs and didn't park well within the lines. Other than that, we would definitely return to Candy Cane Inn for our next Disneyland adventure. read more

I just returned from my first visit to California and my first time staying at the Candy Cane Inn for 4 nights and I couldn't be more impressed!! 11/10! We arrived well before official check in time, but they had our room ready for us within minutes. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly. A staff member even gave my daughter an adorable Disney gift! The shuttle was always on time and the drivers were very kind. The breakfast offered lots of options. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The landscaping is over the top and so pretty!! Our room was cleaned well each day. The location is great if visiting Disneyland. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Very nice updated rooms with comfy beds, free continental breakfast, free parking for one vehicle, and a short walk / trolley ride to the park entrance. You can even text the front desk if you need anything. We requested a pack n play for our baby. It wasn't the most comfy, but my baby didn't mind. Flat sheet provided as the sheets. There was still plenty of space to move around the room for three adults. Only slight inconvenience was staying on the second floor and having to carry our stroller up and down the stairs. I stayed here for my first time in November 2025 and it was amazing! The best hotel I could've picked for my Disney trip. It was the perfect walking distance to the park (15 mins) but I LOVED they offered their own trolley service (at the top of every hour) to get you to the park as well. I stayed in the Deluxe King and it was very spacious. The room was very clean and smelled fresh when walking in. The bathroom and microwave areas were well equipped with any needed items. Any other items needed can be purchased at the gift shop, which was very convenient! The bed was comfortable and sheets were soft. The staff was so sweet and professional with every interaction, before, during, and after our stay. We did need maintence a few times during our trip for minor things and they were at our door within 5 minutes! All staff members are very accommodating and you can tell they take pride in their jobs. The amenities were a major reason for picking The Candy Cane Inn even if we didn't get to use all of them! The breakfast buffet was simply jaw dropping. So many choices that made for a great start to the mornings. It was also very nice to have a clean fitness and laundry room available as a guest. Genuinely, one of the best/comfy hotels we have stayed in....this coming from a family that travels a lot. We enjoyed the free on-site breakfast. Your typical Continental breakfast but with a twist. The breakfast sandwiches were a hit with our family. Who wouldn't want to start a Disney day full and happy. We loved having the Trolley available and the drivers were extremely friendly. We also walked to the park and back. No more than a 10 min walk each way. Our room was clean, faced the Disney parks which was great as we were able to see the fireworks. The beds were comfy and spacious. Best part about our stay in my opinion was the free parking. You genuinely can't beat that. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Staff was great and kind. This is going to be our go-to hotel whenever going to Disney now. The amenities are top notch - free breakfast (delivered to your door!), complimentary self parking, coffee 24/7 in the lobby, fitness center, pool, fridge & microwave in your room, etc. They offer a shuttle to Disneyland as well, but the location makes it so that walking is faster. Plus, it's next to a 7-11 and all of the local restaurants, including Downtown Disney. Check-in and check-out were super easy, the rooms were very clean, people were constantly cleaning every inch of the place, including power washing the concrete, and trash was literally picked up from your doorway less than an hour after you put it out. The concierge who checked me in also remembered my name afterwards. That's 5-star service right there. Maybe some people would say it's a little pricey, but I would refute that based on neighboring hotels and their amenities. Can't wait to come back! read more

This has to be the best, most hospitable hotel in the area. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights last week to take my granddaughter Mia to Disneyland for her birthday and the hotel was the icing on the cake. So many good points I dont even know where to start. The staff. They were amazing, from the front desk, to housekeeping to the security guards, everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I want to call out Ericka at the front desk, she was phenomenal!!! Ericka remembered my name and used it every time she saw me, that in itself really rubbed me the right way. She remembered it was Mia's birthday and wished her a Happy Bday every time she saw her, even called her princess. The trolly drivers were awesome as well. Friendly and happy with great huge personalities. They let Mia ring the bell when we boraded and even had the whole trolly sing Happy Birthday to her. The trolly was a really nice touch, it was in much better condition that the prison style busses that the other hotels were using to pick up and drop off passengers. The hotel itself was immaculate. People were ALWAYS cleaning something there. I even saw them pressure washing the parking lot, who does that? The beds were one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, I woke up refreshed and with no back pain. The pillows and sheets were super soft. The pool was very clean as well and heated. They even had a spa AND a small splash pad for little kids. Plenty of lounge chairs and not one but 2 firepit tables!!! They have a few towel stations around the pool area which is extremely thoughtful of them. Security was very friendly and a constant presence, I never felt unsafe there or worried about my car being broken into. They have FREE parking AND FREE breakfast. It consisted of fruits, pastries, cereal, juice and some seriously good croissant sandwiches. They think of everything, right next to the sandwiches they had a microwave and a small toaster over thing to run the sandwich through to get it nice and toasty. Outside by the pool they had pancake and waffle stations where you can make your own, along with every topping known to man. I cant say enough good things about this place. If I didnt know any better Id swear the staff are family members, the way they took such pride in their jobs. I will be back 100% and recommend them to everyone read more

We have been coming here for a two years now. Newly remodeled a few years ago. Everything is clean, beds are comfortable. Yes- Mini Refrigerator, no microwave in standard rooms. They do have a microwave you can use in the office. They offer an awesome breakfast in morning. Fresh fruit, donuts, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, waffles, pancakes, cheese, boiled eggs and breakfast sandwiches. Juices, hot cocoa and coffee. We have never tried the pool or spa but looks refreshing. At night when fireworks go off you can go to the 2nd floor balcony that faces park to see them. Getting to Disneyland, they offer a trolley service during certain parts of year they do every 30 mins 7:30-10am only. Then every hour on the hour from hotel. Park pick up 15mins after every hour at stop #13. For close convenience to the park, free parking & shuttle to & from park, free awesome breakfast, comfortable rooms this is our go to hotel. read more

4.5 stars! Comfortable hotel within walking distance of Disneyland! This renovated boutique hotel was great for the price ($320 per night in December) and we would definitely stay here again. We stayed here for five nights and appreciated the close proximity to the parks/downtown Disney. The rooms were clean with soft beds, a refrigerator, and plenty of channels on the smart tv. We received housekeeping everyday which was so nice to come back to a clean room with fresh towels and linens. All staff were so kind and friendly. The hotel offers great perks like a complimentary extended continental breakfast that includes breakfast sandwiches, boiled eggs, assorted breads and pastries, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, make your own waffles/pancakes, coffee, tea, and juices. They also had complimentary water and fruit infused water in the lobby. Additionally, we used the complimentary shuttle to the parks which runs every hour. There is also a swimming pool and gym available. If you have mobility issues or have a lot of luggage, I recommend requesting a room on the first floor as there isn't an elevator - however, I believe if you ask at the front you can receive assistance with your bags. There is a small gift shop on site if you forgot any essentials but the hotel is also within walking distance of several stores including CVS and a 7 Eleven. My only complaint is the motel set up and if you walk around at night there are quite a few transient people on the streets surrounding the hotel. However, there is a security guard on site which gave some extra peace of mind. During the day it absolutely feels safe and there are lots of people also walking around to the parks and the nearby Anaheim garden walk. read more

Where do I start with Candy Cane Inn? We have made many trips to the Disneyland resort in the past 13 years and have stayed in many different hotels around the park. The Candy Cane Inn has been recommended to us for many years by some close friends but for one reason or another we had never stayed here, until last week that is. The staff here are all very warm and welcoming, from the cleaners, groundskeepers, security, and front desk. The property is meticulously maintained, and very cozy. The included breakfast was a huge plus, and the kids looked forward to going down each morning to make pancakes and have cereal. The park is close enough to walk to, but the complimentary shuttle came in handy after a long day of walking. James was the shuttle driver during our trip, and was incredible, informative, and truly enjoys what he does. There is also a pool and fitness center on the property. To top things off, this is one of the few hotels we've stayed at over the years that does NOT charge an additional fee for parking. I think after all of these years, we've finally found our go to stay while visiting Disneyland. read more

Excellent hotel and no complaints. Location was 10 mins walk from the gates of DisneyLand with a free shuttle that comes every hour. Staff was friendly and always welcoming. I can even say even more welcoming than at DL. Rooms are renovated with some thought, including lots of hooks to hand towels and things. Lots of storage space and multiple luggage holders. Small things but makes a difference. The heated pool was a nice bonus and they served snacks and water in the afternoon if you're taking a rest day. Free breakfast with lots of pastures and fresh fruit. Wish they had some gluten free/dairy free options as oatmeal everyday started to get boring for me. Check in and check on was seem less and loved the motel concept because of easy access to car for loading and unloading. Would def stay here again! read more

Absolutely Perfect Disneyland Stay! We recently stayed at Candy Cane Inn for a three-day Disneyland trip, and I can honestly say everything about our stay was completely perfect. From the moment we checked in, the service was outstanding. Within about 15 minutes, the manager personally texted to check if we needed anything and even brought us a fresh, warm six-pack of chocolate chip cookies. That level of care truly sets this hotel apart. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. The shower was amazing, exactly what you want after long park days. Speaking of recovery, the hot tub was absolute perfection for tired legs after hours at Disneyland, and the kiddie pool was a huge hit with our kids. The complimentary breakfast each morning was fantastic and made getting out the door to Disneyland so easy. Another huge bonus was free parking, which is rare in this area and saved us a lot compared to other hotels. Location-wise, you can't beat it. You're backed right up against Cars Land, which is such a cool touch, and it's only about a 10-minute walk to the Disneyland gates. The trolley service was also amazing after long days of walking, and one moment in particular truly meant the world to us. The trolley driver noticed my son decked out head-to-toe in Spider-Man, his favorite superhero, and surprised him with a Spider-Man pin. It absolutely made my son's experience and set the tone for his very first day ever at Disneyland. It was such a thoughtful, unforgettable gesture. What truly impressed us most was the follow-up care even after checkout. They texted to thank us and offered $10 off per night on our next stay when we come back to Disneyland. That kind of thoughtfulness and customer service is rare. If you're planning a Disneyland trip, especially with kids, I would not hesitate for a second to stay here again. This is a great place to stay near Disneyland. Me and my nephews stayed here and loved it. There is a complimentary breakfast with many options that they loved. A nice quaint pool. The service at this one is top notch with very attentive staff topped off with cheerful, very professional trolley drivers to the park. My room was very clean with comfortable beds and the rooms are very soundproof from the nearby traffic. I went to the 7-11 to grab drinks and snacks and had totally forgotten how close we were to the busy road since the inn goes so far back. You can expect to pay around 250-300+ a night so while not the cheapest in the area they provide great service and value for the money. Can't beat the location. I opted to not wait for the trolley and it took me a few minutes to get to security... maybe half a mile walk or so. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

The trolley was excellent! The drivers super friendly! They did forget to pick up on the Oogie boogie nite (different schedule) however after a quick call to the front desk they showed up! I don't know why, but at 1st glance, this property seemed a little motel-ish. I've been staying at mostly resorts or higher end hotels, and I have to say, the Candy Cane inn outdoes most of them. Pros: Proximity to Disney. Approximately 10-15 minute walk Customer Service is top-notch. The room was clean, updated, and big. Fridge and microwave in room. Details: we received a bucket of snacks, popcorn candy etc.. and water. Order ahead for bfast. See photo. Jacuzzi x 2 were clean, and the pool was nice. Shuttle to Disney. Security is on point. As I was sitting outside by the lobby, a nefarious looking guy barely made it onto the property before security appeared out of nowhere. Cons: Parking could be an issue. I didn't move my vehicle the whole time, but as I understand, they allow non guests to park here. However, it is Saturday, and I can see about 5 open spots from my room. Although it is literally next door to CA adventure (cars), it is relatively quiet. I highly recommend this place. read more

We came here for an overnight stay, spent 2 hours at Disneyland and my daughter randomly threw up so we came back to the hotel to get our keys to the room after receiving a text it was ready. Once we checked in we were only in the room 15 minutes before our daughter got sick again. I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do either refund our money so we could drive 2 hours back home before anyone else started getting sick or if we could change the reservation to a later date. They immediately said there was nothing they could do and would put a note on our account for a future stay that we get cookies. I know things come up and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it, the situation was unfortunate I just wish they would have offered us some alternative options especially since we are Disney pass holders and definitely will be back soon. We usually stay at the Westin but this place was recommended by a few family members, not sure if we will try & stay again! Just be mindful when booking here with kids! read more
