Stayed at Park Vue Inn last month while visiting Disneyland. We stayed here back in 2016, but had to stay elsewhere in recent years because it got to be a lot more expensive than some of the other hotels in the area. Decided to stay here again this year because my mom was coming with us and I knew she would need to take breaks during the day and I didn't want her to have to walk far to a hotel. This hotel is literally right across the street. Can't get any closer than that! The hotel looks like it has been renovated from the last time we stayed. Everything looked like it got an upgrade. Pros: beds were decent, lighting in the rooms were awesome, and room was pretty clean when we arrived. IHOP right next door and a little store on premises. Cons: it can get pretty noisy if you're on the ground floor. I thought the people upstairs were going to come crashing through the floor...and I don't think they were doing anything excessive - just normal walking back and forth. The shower is really weird. There's no door, so when the shower is on, the water splashes to the outside near the toilet. Just a strange setup. Had a decent stay and I would stay here again. The location alone is the seller for me. After a long day in the park, it was nice to cross the street and already be at your room.

Nobody else got the "QUIET PLEASE" memo..

FYI: If you are planning to show up after 10pm for "Check In," please be advised that there willl not be anyone available to physically do so. Staff leaves the premises and shuts down for the day after 10pm. Our room key was left with security who patrols the premises. **Our party made sure to keep communication and updates with the staff which made for an easy process once we finally arrived. Physical ID is required for the room key pick up!** Our party of 4 [3 adults, 1 toddler] arrived a little past 1am on Friday. We walked around or a bit trying to locate the security guard who was holding onto our room keys but the actual exchange was quick and super easy. Pros: -The parking situation was good during the duration of our stay. There was always parking available but be prepared to do a bit of walking. -The room is equipped with a mini fridge and tiny microwave. Both appliances worked well. -Our TRADITIONAL DOUBLE QUEEN room was spacious enough for my toddler to roam around comfortably & freely. -The property is literally located across the street from Disneyland!!! This reason alone is worth you booking your stays here!!! -Disneyland's fireworks show is visible from your room's doorway. -AC unit worked well. Whether we were in need of a cool down or a bit of extra warmth throughout the night, this thing had us covered. Cons: -There is signage all around the property reminding guests to keep noise and chatter to a minimum between certain hours. Not everyone received that memo. With our room being located right next to the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor, we heard loud stomping and thumping all throughout the night, EVERY NIGHT. -Shower is a bit annoying. Seems like the hot water temp is timed where it proceeds to cool after X amount of time. Either take quick showers or stretch out your time by SLOWLY increasing the shower handle towards the HOT side -Carpeting needs a deep cleaning! My toddler ended up with dark feet after roaming around barefoot. BRING SANDALS OR SLIPPERS Y'ALL. -TV was garbage- it took quite a bit of work to turn the tv on and the channels flip by so annoyingly slow. Lucky for us, we are all content with entertaining ourselves with our phones. 4/5 stars for the overall visit. I'd easily make the decision stay here again simply due to the close proximity of the property vs Disneyland. The room itself was not high end by any means but will definitely come through after a long, tiring day of roaming the streets. As mentioned above, it can be loud at night due to other guests but bringing some earplugs for those super sensitive sleepers is a good solution.

Noel was AMAZING to us, and super helpful during our visit. The manager I think is Erik, but whatever he's the worst and can take a one way trip out. He has 0 patience nor any hospitality morals. During our stay, I booked a kitchenette suite with 3 beds. We arrived and as soon as I opened the door I felt this humid style warmth. I turned on the A/C and it didn't work. So we were in our room for about an hour. We were told the A/C's blew and needed to be replaced, so we were given the option to have 2 separate rooms while the a/c was repaired the following day. I have a special needs child and a handicapped guest with me, so moving was really inconvenient. They told me to move back in the room by 11am or they would charge me for both rooms I was staying in. I spoke to Erik and he was so unhelpful. I told him it was inconvenient for us to be moving from rooms, and for us to have to worry about moving our stuff when I paid for one room. His response was, how were we supposed to know it would blow? Do the managers not inspect the rooms to know there's an issue? Especially with old A/C's?!? I was extremely frustrated and angry with him and this hotel. Never had an issue until now.

    Mouse poop?

I don't walk barefoot in hotels..but We have a one year old that's starting to walk now. There are times he still crawls. His feet, knee caps and hands were filthy from the floor. Housekeeping needs to be addressed

Bunk is off in the corner near ac with enough space for a side table and then queen bed. Small and cozy room. Thankfully the desk was large.

We stayed 4 nights and initially chose this inn due to the affordable cost and proximity to DLand. Our family of 4 stayed in a queen/ bunk bed room. Pros: Check in was easy with their online check in and the front staff made it simple and quick to get our keys. Our boys loved trying Cold Stone for the first time. We used the hot tub one night and had it to ourselves. Overall, we were happy with our stay and how quick it was to get to DLand. We came back every afternoon for a rest and I was glad we were staying so closer. It was fairly quiet. Loved the access to a fridge/small but separate freezer space and microwave in room. We saved so much money by doing our own food in the hotel and just bringing snacks into the park. Cons: True there is "free parking" but there is also a $10/night resort fee. No complementary breakfast offered though I imagine the resort fee might be higher if there was one. The floors felt sticky and the bunk bed rails and ladder felt sticky. They also had bunkbed made so that the kids heads were right by the A/C. I should have remade the beds so their heads were away from the AC. The room was pretty small (though we weren't in there much) and sort of humid/damp. Our sink faucet was set so far back from the sink basin that the water hit the counter and caused pooling on the counter. We had to place a towel to soak up the puddle. The cons were only mild annoyances and the pros outweigh them. All in all this inn is a more affordable option and we will definitely consider it in the future if we return to the area.

On my most recent stay, I was placed in a handicap accessible room that I did not request when booking. Not a huge issue, but definitely not what I expected. During the stay before that, on my last day, I stopped at the pool bar to relax and have a few drinks. The entire time, the bartenders and wait staff were either on their phones or arguing with each other. It made for a pretty uncomfortable atmosphere and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. On the stay prior to that, I had a very negative interaction with a manager, which I reported in a letter. The response from the hotel was lukewarm and didn't leave a good impression. I felt I was treated poorly, especially for a property at this level, and the small number of points offered felt more dismissive than helpful. On top of that, tours were repeatedly brought through the gym while my guests and I were trying to work out. I understand the space may be open, but having multiple groups walk through filming on their phones, combined with the manager's reaction and comments, was frustrating and honestly left a lasting negative impression. I will say the front desk staff are excellent and the housekeeping team is outstanding. Unfortunately, the issues with other areas overshadow the great work they do. Parking in the area usually runs $25-$45 a night, and we got free parking. We also had breakfast both days, which I'd easily value around $40 for a family of four. That's already close to $100 in savings, so you're really looking at about $180 for the room itself. You also get a trolley/shuttle to Disneyland, which adds even more convenience. We arrived early in the morning before check-in and were still able to grab breakfast. Even though the room wasn't ready yet, the staff let us check in smoothly, and we got the room later in the afternoon without any issues. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not luxury, but well-maintained and exactly what you need after a long Disney day. Location is a big plus -- close enough to walk to Disneyland, which is huge when you have kids and don't want to deal with parking or long shuttles. Breakfast is one of the better continental options. Not a fancy buffet, but solid and convenient before heading out. Service was friendly and efficient. Staff handled early arrival well and made everything easy. Only downside -- I didn't notice an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. You can also hear the trolley at times, especially at night, but it wasn't a big issue for me. I saw this mentioned in earlier reviews and it matched my experience. Overall, once you factor in free parking, breakfast, and the shuttle, it's actually a great value for Disneyland. Clean, easy, and family-friendly. I would come back.

Unfortunately, I've been getting used to abrasive front-desk people, so it was great to have someone pleasant. The room was a little tricky to find, but once we got in, we were very impressed with how wonderfully clean everything was. Having stayed at so many hotels for family trips, work trips, and just to get away, I will say that the cleanliness of this hotel is above average. Even the elevator smelled nice. We got the one-bedroom with 2 queens room. These beds were very comfortable, almost like home. The sheets were hotel sheets, so fine I guess. I got a pretty decent night of sleep. The living room pull-out sofa was actually kind of comfortable too. In the morning, we went to the huge breakfast area that actually featured some really great stuff. Having a food allergy, I'm used to being disappointed at free breakfasts. Sunday, I was spoiled for choice. Monday morning before we checked out, a little less so. Finally, the highlights and let-downs: the biggest highlight for us was our room location. On the 4th floor, facing Disneyland, we got a free fireworks show from bed both nights. It made the whole experience much nicer for me. However, the let-down was that the builders cut corners and the walls are very thin. On Sunday morning, I could hear every single door opening and closing, every heavy-footed person walking, every time the elevator came. The older gal was very helpful in answering my questions about the bus that goes to Disney I believe it is route 3 and comes every 30 minutes to the street side of the hotel. My partner and I did the walk there as we went late at night . It's about 28 minutes but we walk fairly fast so we got there in 20 minutes . The Toy Story parking lot is only a 15 minute walk and the bus take you to the park. So another option when got to the park. Room review it is really not that bad. Yes it is outdated but that is how it show on the website so you know what you are getting into. If it's not your style you can put a little extra money into the higher end Hiltons. But everything was very clean. There was no old smell. The water pressure was really great and the water heated up really fast which is great after a day in the parks. I believes some of the rooms have the sofas so it's kind of like a living room and bedroom vibe. This is great if you're taking a large family some people can sleep on the couch even. You have a nice hangout space if you have a break from the park. It is about the same price or less the regular room . We were able to get our room $113 after taxes and parking it was $180. The parking was $30 which is a given at any hotel by Disney. Regardless if you were to drive to Disney each day it's about the same price each. It is a compromise to be in a close distance to the park to walk pretty close and have a shuttle. I think it breaks even with making sure that your car is safe. Yes it sucks paying for parking but almost every hotel near Disneyland charges for parking each night. Also, the room does come with a fridge and microwave if you were trying to save and be budget friendly you can bring your own food when going to the parks or just traveling in general. Breakfast selection had variety and was a proper continental breakfast. Delicious. It was my first time here but I would book again in the future. I like that it's family owned and not a corporate chain.

Assisted us with the gated parking and was able to find plenty of space for our vehicle which was $14 for one evening. Haven't stayed at an Ayres since the pandemic. Fantastic to have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and breakfast included in the stay as most of those were not available in 2020. Our room was clean with two comfy queen sized beds. Hubby was not able to get good night's rest in the room but, I was able comfy and slept well. Also, the AC worked just fine. Enjoyed the morning breakfast and got there well before the big groups of guests did. The hot items were at a station and you have to inform the gal if you want eggs, sausage, and or hashbrowns. Cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, juices, donuts and coffee was at self serve stations. Check out was easy and we returned our keys to the courteous front desk clerk. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. 4 stars.

This was just perfect for us. I love booking at HIXpress because I know I'm getting a quality clean…read moreroom, a real breakfast my kids will actually eat, and it's always nice and clean and modern. I also love their heated pool that stays open til 10pm for the kids. And this location has the perfect feather pillow that molds around your head - great for back sleepers. I really wanted to steal one! I'd also like to mention that the breakfast is usually slightly different if you stay 2-3 nights. I appreciate that. The only issue we had (that I still need to resolve) was at check out she just asked if I wanted a receipt. She didn't say a total or go over charges. I said no becuase I expected it to be 80$ (40 each night for parking). But on my drive home I saw a 200$ charge go through. I tried to call while driving home but the call wouldn't go through. I am confident they will fix this for me. The best part of this stay was I used my chase saphire card to book and got a real value using points boost. We were going to Disney, but when I booked I had no idea it was a 8-10 minute walk. It really was great. We came home mid day when it was hot and napped and rested and then went back for the evening. Oh, and I loved the large large dining area for breakfast. We had been at a different holiday in express the night before that was nearby and it barely had any seating for breakfast, so I really appreciated this. We also got to see the Disney fireworks outside our hotel window. Tip- ask to be not on the side facing the freeway. It's pretty close and loud.

The shower is clogged so we couldn't even shower. And to top it off the valet driver spilled a drink in the car and didn't even let us know. He could have just told us and we would have been okay with it but the fact he didnt apologize and not even inform us. Is HORRIBLE. Never staying here again.
