We were able to check-in early, thankfully. The receptionist Parth was very helpful and kind. Our hotel room was very clean. No carpet in this room which is a plus! The bedsheets had no stains. The bathroom towels were clean. The shower was clean. Everything was clean. It looks like the housekeeper thoroughly deep cleans the rooms. We stayed here for 1 night and it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfy and pillows were soft. We will definitely stay here again next time. The customer service from Parth was great. He was very welcoming when we checked-in and when we checked-out. Parth is the type of receptionist that every customer should experience. 10 out of 10. He gets you into the hotel and out of the hotel quickly! Staying here was worth every penny. (I forgot to take a picture of the AC unit, windows, desk, dresser, fridge, microwave and TV)

Anaheim hotels were gouging (forget the Hilton where we last stayed, now a Westin, too expensive) trying to make hay while the sun shines after two long, lean years of the pandemic. Across my radar came Alpine Inn. Both close to the DisneyLand gate and the price was right, $660 (including all taxes) for four nights, a great deal. Rooms are basic, newly remodeled and clean with a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Pros: Clean and comfortable Mattresses were fine, no complaints, we slept well Excellent, pounding water pressure to relieve sore backs Free parking Small pool in the parking lot (didn't use) Walking distance to DisneyLand (15 minutes from the gate) Across the street from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Close to good restaurants (both walking or a cheap Uber ride away) Cons: Older building, could hear people come & go (not a major issue, guess it depends on the guests) Annoying DirectTV with testy remote Weak/insecure wifi connection Alpine Inn is a budget motor lodge. Not posh but clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff was welcoming. Save your money for souvenirs and stay here. Recommend.

Super friendly service. Room were clean and free parking. I highly recommend this hotel for location and making you feel welcome. Bed were comfortable and no street noise, very quiet.

Stayed here over the weekend for a comic book convention and had a wonderful time! The location here is perfect and that's what made me choose to book here- it's a 10 minute walk to downtown disney, and the convention center is directly across the street. Check in was very easy and the staff working were super nice. The motel lobby had some cute Disney posters, and they had coffee and tea available in the morning. As for the rooms, they're nice! They have laminate flooring instead of nasty carpet and our room was nice and clean. We saw housekeeping staff come through multiple times a day and check on the rooms often with fresh linens. Their laundry area is directly across from their lobby and I saw them running multiple loads. The beds were on the firmer side and very comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. No complaints other than the soap dispenser was a little stubborn at first. I wish they had curtains in addition to the shutters on the window, but the room got plenty of light during the day which was pleasant. I felt safe at night which is one of the most important things about travel. I was very happy with my stay here and I'm definitely planning on staying here again in the future.

That didn't matter because the stay and customer service was very nice. The staff was very courteous and kind and we REALLY appreciated the gym here. The gym here is awesome. They have almost every piece of equipment that you are looking for and they have every type of workout method that you're interested in trying. They don't just have treadmills and weights. There's HIIT equipment, a P-90X type resistance unit/apparatus, rower machines, etc. There's all types of unique gym equipment that you can utilize here. There is also water (filtered, tap, and sparkling) available. You really have to check it out. Unfortunately we were not able to use the pool and that was one of the main reasons why I wanted to come here but that's OK. It rained while we were here so I didn't wanna get caught up in that yucky weather in the pool. I thought it was impressive that they have movie night at the pool area on the weekends. There were many families visiting Disneyland and so it was great because I saw a lot of them at the pool area enjoying the movie night. I liked how they did the movies in sequence so it was like Friday Toy Story, Saturday Toy Story 2, Sunday Toy Story 3, etc. The issue that we had was the wait for the hotel buffet, included in our stay. The wait was 45min-1hr. We waited and it was ok. Our problem was that we had free breakfast in the Club Lounge that we did not try and there was no wait up there. This was a bummer, but we know for next time. Our room had a pool view but the Club lounge was at the other end of the resort. We know next time to ask for a room near the Club Lounge. The hostess at the Club Lounge, I believe her name was Carlissa, was AMAZING! Her customer service is stellar! She greeted us and checked us in and verified all of the other guests as well within a matter of seconds. You can tell that she is a professional at her job with excellent hospitality and great customer service. Carlissa made sure that everything was cleaned up and well maintained when the regular staff person wasn't available. The regular staff person was very busy busing tables and cleaning up items, plus serving beer and wine. It was good to see that Carlissa and the staff person worked off of each other and really kept the place clean, tidy, and well-stocked for all of the visiting guests. If you book at this location, make sure that you pay a little extra for the Club Level benefits. They offer a 6:30-9:30a breakfast buffet, 4-6p evening hors d'oeuvres & drinks, and champagne at 9 o'clock at night on the Club Lounge where the fireworks happen for Disneyland. Also, throughout the day you can stop in the Club Lounge to have snacks or water, sodas, coffees, teas, and cappuccinos. This resort is awesome and I am happy that we chose to stay here. Thanks!

This last bit was very important to me as I know that some of the hotels right near the parks can get a little gross. This was not the case here. It's clear that someone's taken a lot of care to really rehab this place and make it something special. The decor is so charming and it really feels like a little oasis on Harbor Ave. It is expensive don't get me wrong but you pay for convenience here. From the hotel to the security entrance, it's about a 10 minute walk. That on top of the free breakfast and aforementioned free parking make this place a no-brainer. I should also mention that there is a shuttle to the park, if you prefer that, it runs around every hour. Unfortunately, we came to Anaheim during one of the worst heat waves we've ever experienced, but the Candy Cane Inn came through with the stellar AC. This was a great retreat during hot days to cool off and catch up on sleep before heading back to the park after sunset. My only beef is they need to add a path between here and Avengers Campus since we're right next door! It would be so convenient.

The hotel is relatively modern and has been maintained extremely well. Rooms have consistently been very clean, and there are a surprising number of configurations designed for larger families. Depending on the room, you'll find bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that give mom and dad at least some separation from the kids at the end of the day. That's harder to find around Disneyland than it should be, particularly within the Hilton portfolio. The lobby is large, bright, and airy, with plenty of seating, a good snack/market area, and Disney+ seemingly always playing for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is the typical Homewood Suites buffet, but the breakfast area itself is enormous. It gets very busy in the morning--as you'd expect at a Disneyland hotel--but we've generally been able to find somewhere to sit even during the rush. The pool is OK. Nothing particularly special, but perfectly adequate for letting the kids burn off whatever energy Disneyland somehow failed to extract from them. Service has consistently been friendly and helpful. The property is also surprisingly easy to get in and out of for a hotel this busy. Two elevators keep things moving reasonably well, and multiple exits provide quick access to different parts of the parking lot. Parking is gated and does carry an additional fee, which is worth factoring into the room rate. Disneyland is walkable from the hotel, although I'd put an asterisk next to "walkable." With school-age kids it's very manageable; with toddlers or younger children, the distance becomes considerably less appealing--particularly at the end of a long park day. The location also works well for travelers who aren't visiting Disneyland, as the Anaheim Convention Center is very close. For families, especially loyal Hilton members, this is an outstanding option. There are hotels closer to the parks and certainly hotels with better pools or more upscale amenities, but very few combine the room configurations, cleanliness, breakfast setup, location, and family-friendly common areas as well as this one. While we are moving out of the stage of life where this may be the case, for our previous trips with kids ranging from 2-8, it's served our family, extremely well. -AC
