What a great concept. Given how popular American Ninja Warrior is, I'm surprised there aren't more places like this. This is a very basic version of the ones featured on TV show, but still quite challenging and provides just enough variety to appeal to the whole family. I mainly bought a ticket for my son but also got to try some of the courses since I purchased a guardian pass. There are two main areas. The inflatable section is good for little kids. It has inflatable slides, and the whole area is basically a huge bouncy room. The main area is composed of more challenging obstacle courses sectioned off by difficulty level. I wish this place would provide some instruction or show a video on how to do some of the courses as I wasn't sure on some of them. There's a cafe and private rooms for large parties, which I assume would require advance reservation and fee. Tickets can be purchased at the facility, or you can purchase in advance on its website. Everyone entering the facility must sign a waiver. It's located on the second floor of Santa Ana Main Place by JC Penney. Parking structure 4 is the closest area to park.

It's cheaper to get tickets from Groupon than buying directly from them. I got the 1hour voucher and felt like that was plenty of time. Sign the waiver before you check in tho. During check in, they'll ask if you would like to buy their sock so you can go into the inflatable obstacle course area (it's optional if you buy it, but entrance include both the regular and inflatable course). There's free lockers to use to put your belonging and shoes. The regular course included 5 different course. Start from the left and difficulty increases as you go to the right. This is such a workout, but fun. Some areas are def harder than others. The staff was super friendly and nice and made sure everyone was safe. The inflatable course was a bit on the easier side (it's made for kids). There's climbing stairs, slides, and rock climbing. The bathroom is also pretty clean!

We recently celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at FunParx, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The kids had a blast--especially on the obstacle courses and the inflatables. It was the perfect balance of safe, high-energy fun that kept everyone entertained the entire time. The communication with the FunParx staff was excellent, both before and during the party. Booking was incredibly easy and the whole process felt smooth and organized. I really appreciated being able to use the push cart to transport all of our things to and from the car--it made setup and cleanup so much easier. They even stored our cake in the fridge for us, which was a huge help. The staff deserve a special shout-out for being so friendly, patient, and professional. They were always nearby, ready to assist and offer support whenever needed. Alyssa was amazing--so kind and helpful in planning the party and answering all my questions. She went above and beyond by surprising my daughter with the sweetest capybara plush to match her party theme. It truly made my daughter's day even more special. Joy was also fantastic! She helped serve the guests, played games with the kids, and even handed out coupons at the end of the party for their next visit. FunParx's flexibility, accommodations, and attention to detail made the whole experience less stressful and enjoyable. The cost was a great value for what we received. We left feeling so grateful and impressed. Overall, it was a fantastic celebration with exceptional customer service and memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

This was a really fun experience to do with a group of friends or for a date! I'm 5'3 and felt like some of the portions of the course was hard to do since I wasn't tall enough. But nonetheless it was still fun! We booked a 1 hour time slot and finished within an 45 min. We arrived before the 7pm slot, which is the last slot before closing!

Love this place!! So clean, affordable and such a fun time for the kids! If you are going to get a membership anywhere for your child this is the place!! Even the food is affordably priced. All the employees are great and helpful as well!!

Great experience for my kids especially my daughter who had her birthday there with 10 of her friends. It's very clean and the people who work there are very nice. Get the party package if you want something easy yet, fun and enjoyable for everyone and any age.

Kids had a blast!!! The food was great! Used Groupon for the tix! Great deal! They can't wait to come back!

Fun for kids and adults alike!!! We came in on a Sunday afternoon, and it felt like equal parts adults and kids using the courses. Definitely more kids in the "bouncy" obstacle area and adults on the rest of them it seemed. These courses are no joke! As many other reviews stated, my partner and I got 90 minute passes but could barely last an hour! We both felt that this was a great workout. It was fun and challenging. The sense of accomplishment we both felt finally getting a course after trying a few times was unmatched. We're already planning to come back. I will echo what some other reviewers said and say watch out for kids! Signs state only one person on a course at a time, but that wasn't the case. Some small kids were weaving in and out, so stay alert! I saw on the TVs there that the third Thursday evening of each month is adults only -- would be fun to check out!

The place was smaller than I anticipated. Obstacles were also easier than expected. Overall still a fun time. Wouldn't recommend 90 mins. Just do 60 mins.

Super fun activity for kids and adults! At first I felt a bit uncomfortable because there were a lot of kids. But after a while you learn that you are all there to have fun and to try something new. They had quite a number of children there but the obstacles vary by difficulty. They had some workers on the floor to provide support or to cheer us on. These courses were no joke! I posted videos to show how difficult they could be. They offered a one or two hour option but honestly one hour is enough! You are doing a lot of physical activity so you will sweat and get tired! I think we were on the active floor for about 35 minutes. They have about 5 obstacle courses at different levels. I was able to complete the first one but the last one was super challenging and I could not complete it. They also had a large bounce house with slides and obstacles where you had to climb.  There was a sign in the front that said it is cheaper online but I could not find an individual ticket or for a party of two. If you look online they offer memberships or party packages only.  In person I purchased the one hour for 2 people + grip socks which cost a total $46.96. I highly recommend bringing water and taking breaks when you need them and to stretch! They play a quick tutorial video before you start so you know the dos and don't. They have a lot of lockers available for free to store your items and if you don't know how to use them you can ask the workers there.  It is located in Mainplace Mall on the side near Macy's where parking is free. I took my little cousin to try it out and we would like to take friends/ family there too! It is a great place to celebrate a birthday with their large seating area or to do a physical activity.

This is a must activity for any Ninja Warrior fans who have always dreamed of trying out a similar course. My oldest son has been begging to be on the show, so when I started planning our trip to CA, I discovered that this place was 15mins from our hotel! Located at the Mainplace mall on the 2nd floor, near Forever 21 side and a short walk from the elevators. Sign the waivers per person on the kiosks then go to the counter to purchase your time and socks. Or you can do this online and reserve your time in case they sell out when you arrive. Next you'll wait in a hallway with benches and lockers and watch a short safety video. It was very packed in here. Lots of birthday parties and tons of kids running wild. Since my 4yr old was too young, hubby was required to get a wristband and join the fun. We purchased the 60min, plus socks. Socks are required! The worker said I had to get a wristband and sign a waiver even though I'm just watching with my baby girl and she's too young to join anyways, it was free for me though so no biggie. (I just didn't want to embarrass myself but that jump ramp was tempting to try haha. Don't be fooled though, I've watched some tall grown men who tried and failed time after time throughout my visit. It's not as easy as it looks). We opted out for some girl shopping. There was a stand to purchase candy, drinks, popcorn, etc. And at the entrance counter, you can purchase American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park shirts, long sleeves, other merch. Customer service was alright. Nothing to rave about, but if you see a customer looking at the shirts behind you, maybe acknowledge them! There was 1 girl who was kind enough to check the back room for more sizes though after I got someone's attention.

I would love to have my son's birthday party here but I see no outside food is allowed? Is that correct? How do you keep adults entertained while the kids play? Your menu is limited and there's not even fruit or vegetables on there. It seems silly

They've recently changed rules so that you can bring outside food as long as it's not something they have in their cafe for $50. Kids play for an hour; it's not long for adults to hang out and watch the kids and chat.

Is it just for kids? Any teen or adult obstacle courses?

They're for all ages. The courses are challenging at any fitness level I think.

5 hour session but 1 hour is definitely plenty of time to do both the obstacle course and the bounce house.

It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.

FINALLY REOPENED!! The lines to get in last weekend was literally out the door. It felt like I was waiting to get into a club LOL Rancho is about 27,000 sq ft of kid focused activities. A lot of their set up was similar to Vista but there are things that I liked better at the Rancho one. First let's talk about pricing as that is super important. It's $30 for the full day and ins and out privileges are allowed. We went during their reopening weekend and admission and parties were 50% off. So I def had to book my little one's party. Their snack bar is so reasonable priced. I have been to other indoor playgrounds and snacks are so expensive where a can of soda was $5. Secondly, the play structures, interactive actives and jumpers are huge. The jumper was so big that it had a basketball court, climbing apparatus and mini obstacle course inside (much bigger than Vista). The multi level play structure had a basketball/soccer court inside, touch screen projection video game and many slides ( I count at least 4). The toddler area had a ball out and slide and had this spaceship where it would drop balls into the ball out. This is where all the kiddos were cause it was so fun. In the toddler area, there was a mini jumper so the toddlers could also enjoy a jumper and be safe from the bigger kiddos. Oh! There was a trampoline in the toddler area too! Overall I'm still really impressed with Play City and can't wait to go back. As the summer is coming and staying away from outside playground while not impacting play time...Play City is the answer. Ninja Factory is an indoor playground for older kiddos should be opening in 3-4 weeks. Same owners so you know it's going to be great!

If you're a parent, you already know that alone is a win. It was busy, but not the kind of busy where you're stressed the whole time. My son was still able to run straight to all the fun spots and actually try everything without waiting forever. That made such a difference. I did overhear a parent frustrated that they charge for infants (0-11 months). Parents can come in free to supervise, which is nice, but you do have to pay if you plan to jump. We went during a 50% off weekend, so two hours at half price felt like a total mom win. Also they allow outside food, which I honestly love. Someone had an entire box of Costco pizza, and I saw another parent with Uber Eats McDonald's. No overpriced snack-bar pressure, just bring your own food. I've been going back and forth about the membership... but $54.99 a month (with one buddy pass) and $89.99 for VIP just feels a little steep for our budget right now. Maybe if they run a special or adjust pricing. Overall though we had a really good time and we'll definitely be back.

This place *sorta* reminds me of a kid Souplantation, just sub out the soups for pizza (& note the fact that Souplantation is much neater and slightly more elevated foods). There's a fully loaded salad bar with your choice of greens and corn, peas, carrots, and toppings+ (too many to remember). There's a pasta bar, sauteed veggies with sausage, quinoa and potato salad, a couple of soups, LOADS of pizza flavors, a fully loaded dessert bar, and ICEE/soda drinks. It can get a bit crazy, and sometimes piles of dishes can accumulate quicker than workers bussing tables. Also, what sets this place apart is that there is a whole play area for video games, little rides, and claw machines. Review challenge 58/365 Day Challenge…read more We frequently visit UA for casual Play dates or bday celebration either it's for a friend or a mini celebration for my 2 youngest kids, this past year. Especially hearing that there's a new attraction SKYRIDER that opened mid September 2025, my son came here w 2 of his closet bud to celebrate his bday. They were so excited to ride the Skyrider, it's a zip line across partial of the park. I highly definitely recommend this indoor playground. It's probably the best one in OC. We've gone to a lot the past years. This place has so much for your kids to do. Met the manager Terry and Sally. They are both amazing and friendly. Always there to answer your questions and needs. Our school Mabel Paine had a day of fundraising here also. UA loves to support and gives back to the community. Love a friendly oriented company. What's awesome is they now have a security here that I love since it's open. Security really nice. The indoor playground is pretty clean and well taken care of. Love the mascot Urbie. He's also cool with the kids. We are regulars here and definitely plan to return. They have great yearly membership at a great value. Must check it out!

They offer birthday packages that include EVERYTHING- private room/s, food, beverages, hosts, decor (I was able to bring my own decor/cake too which was a plus). The entertainment/attractions are perfect for kids of all ages. Our assigned hosts were Natalie and Andre - I completely recommend!! They were both WONDERFUL. As soon as I walked in everything was decorated/setup as I had requested. Natalie was on top of it all - she reviewed my food order one last time day of to ensure all was accurate (we communicated food allergies and she made sure the right pizza crusts/ orders were in place - Thank you this truly meant a lot) . She was so sweet and attentive she answered all my questions and executed the party flow perfectly. Andre did an amazing job getting my guests checked it and set with wristbands/socks. They both were patient and welcoming! They truly made this such an unforgettable fun, smooth and well organized experience for us! THANK YOU!
