We just had my daughter's 7th birthday here. Our party of 13 + parents had such a blast! I'm so surprised not more people know about this place. The play area was clean. The obstacle courses were challenging but not too challenging you would feel like you would get hurt. The jump area, the littles had so much fun in. We would like to thank all the staff especially Shayla who was our host. She provided everything we needed, helped pass out pizza and drinks and was so kind settings up and putting things away. We went to the Ninja on New Years today because they had a deal that was too good to pass up: $5 for 60 min. They also have a winter deal running now for $10 for 90 min. There is a parent pass for $3.99 those accompanying kids under 8 but this wasn't available with the special deals. Normal prices are $23.99 for 60 min ($21.99 online) and $29.99 for 90 min ($26.99 online). So definitely always book online first instead of at the park and check for any running promos. Grip socks from Funparx are required for the inflatable for $3.50 per person and they have a lot of sizes to match your shoe size. These socks are different from other grip socks we have because the grip is at the front and very strong. We booked in the morning for a group of 6 and by lunchtime, timeslots from 12-3 were sold out. We were given information on the best /closest place to park. Booking online, we could fill out our waivers first online so that we could be ready for check-in and getting socks as soon as we arrived. There are 3 computers to fill out waivers there if you didn't do so beforehand. The person checking us in was very helpful at explaining things and friendly. There is a long row of free lockers right when you walk in for you to put your purse/wallet/jackets etc. A few of the lockers were not working. Don't put your shoes in there because after you walk in, there are shelves for your shoes by the inflatable section and you can also leave your water bottle there for easy access while playing. Since my son almost 4 years old, I was wondering how much of the courses he could do. It was very pleasantly surprised. As long as there is an adult with him, he could do all of the inflatable area. And he can even go through the ninja warrior area with a parent to lift him through. There isn't anything too dangerous for young ones even though they're on the same course as everyone. The ninja course area is 5 different courses parallel with each other. Other people there was good about waiting in line and waiting for others to pass through if they needed more time. We all had such a blast! Within 15 minutes we were all soaked in sweat. It really is fun for all ages - whether you are just bouncing around on the inflatable or trying to get through a certain section of the course. There isn't much air circulation / airflow there so it's very hot and stuffy. Hopefully that could be improved. There was one section of the course that wasn't working but it was clearly marked. Also when booking online, it says there will be a safety briefing 3-5 minutes before the start of the session but we didn't get one or see where it is. There wasn't a person to check our wristbands upon entering or at the end of your time because there is a long wait at the check-in area. It does require some time to check-in with multiple large groups in front of you so give yourself plenty of time by arriving early before your timeslot. What a great concept. Given how popular American Ninja Warrior is, I'm surprised there aren't more places like this. This is a very basic version of the ones featured on TV show, but still quite challenging and provides just enough variety to appeal to the whole family. I mainly bought a ticket for my son but also got to try some of the courses since I purchased a guardian pass. There are two main areas. The inflatable section is good for little kids. It has inflatable slides, and the whole area is basically a huge bouncy room. The main area is composed of more challenging obstacle courses sectioned off by difficulty level. I wish this place would provide some instruction or show a video on how to do some of the courses as I wasn't sure on some of them. There's a cafe and private rooms for large parties, which I assume would require advance reservation and fee. Tickets can be purchased at the facility, or you can purchase in advance on its website. Everyone entering the facility must sign a waiver. It's located on the second floor of Santa Ana Main Place by JC Penney. Parking structure 4 is the closest area to park. read more

It's cheaper to get tickets from Groupon than buying directly from them. I got the 1hour voucher and felt like that was plenty of time. Sign the waiver before you check in tho. During check in, they'll ask if you would like to buy their sock so you can go into the inflatable obstacle course area (it's optional if you buy it, but entrance include both the regular and inflatable course). There's free lockers to use to put your belonging and shoes. The regular course included 5 different course. Start from the left and difficulty increases as you go to the right. This is such a workout, but fun. Some areas are def harder than others. The staff was super friendly and nice and made sure everyone was safe. I visited FunParx (American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park) with a group of adult friends this weekend. Let's just say we had a blast!! We ordered our tickets on Groupon which offered about a $10 discount (score!) and in store we had to buy grip socks for $3 (if you bring your own you do not have to buy). Beware, though this is an "all ages" park there were a lot of children. There are 2 types of courses at FunParx. The solid courses (like the American Ninja Warrior show) and an inflatable, bouncy castle type course. The courses were so much fun and whew I realized I am out of shape. We enjoyed both but our group voted that their favorite was the inflatable course which had lanes for racing. Downsides: A few courses were designed for children and were too small for adults. A few of the handheld obstacles were a little bit greasy and we wished there was a more frequent cleaning schedule on commonly touched surfaces. Overall 7/10! If you're looking to act like a big kid and have a fun time I definitely recommend FunParx. I'm not sure how to rate this place. I love it and I don't. We bought a few groupon here, love how easy it was to use. You come in, read a few lines, sign a waiver, look at a screen for details and go and have fun. They do require you to pay $3.50 for socks to use the balloon bounce section. This is don't love. It was a grippy bottom to use inside the bounce house. Even that bounce side was a little difficult for an oldie like me. Now for the ninja side, its not that big. It's got a few obstacles that's exactly like the actual ninja warrior course. This i love. But you'll have to share the course because on the weekends, kids birthday parties are a plenty. This i don't love. There's two warped walls here, one easy. One almost impossible. But don't expect a running start here because again the lack of space here. We recently celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at FunParx, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The kids had a blast--especially on the obstacle courses and the inflatables. It was the perfect balance of safe, high-energy fun that kept everyone entertained the entire time. The communication with the FunParx staff was excellent, both before and during the party. Booking was incredibly easy and the whole process felt smooth and organized. I really appreciated being able to use the push cart to transport all of our things to and from the car--it made setup and cleanup so much easier. They even stored our cake in the fridge for us, which was a huge help. The staff deserve a special shout-out for being so friendly, patient, and professional. They were always nearby, ready to assist and offer support whenever needed. Alyssa was amazing--so kind and helpful in planning the party and answering all my questions. Finding the place was a challenge. Best place to park is JC Penny and head into the main entrance and go upstairs and walk a little until you find it. It's basically around the corner. I had a really great time here. It's a great place for both children and adults to enjoy. Be sure to bring athletic shoes and grip socks! Though, I think you have to buy their company socks. More specifically for those participating. Some of the courses require shoes and other parts are socks only. The place is well watched (for the lack of better words) by employees to be sure people are following the rules and not getting hurt. Super fun activity for kids and adults! At first I felt a bit uncomfortable because there were a lot of kids. But after a while you learn that you are all there to have fun and to try something new. They had quite a number of children there but the obstacles vary by difficulty. They had some workers on the floor to provide support or to cheer us on. These courses were no joke! I posted videos to show how difficult they could be. They offered a one or two hour option but honestly one hour is enough! You are doing a lot of physical activity so you will sweat and get tired! I think we were on the active floor for about 35 minutes. They have about 5 obstacle courses at different levels. I was able to complete the first one but the last one was super challenging and I could not complete it. They also had a large bounce house with slides and obstacles where you had to climb.  There was a sign in the front that said it is cheaper online but I could not find an individual ticket or for a party of two. If you look online they offer memberships or party packages only.  In person I purchased the one hour for 2 people + grip socks which cost a total $46.96. I highly recommend bringing water and taking breaks when you need them and to stretch! They play a quick tutorial video before you start so you know the dos and don't. They have a lot of lockers available for free to store your items and if you don't know how to use them you can ask the workers there.  It is located in Mainplace Mall on the side near Macy's where parking is free. I took my little cousin to try it out and we would like to take friends/ family there too! This is a must activity for any Ninja Warrior fans who have always dreamed of trying out a similar course. My oldest son has been begging to be on the show, so when I started planning our trip to CA, I discovered that this place was 15mins from our hotel! Located at the Mainplace mall on the 2nd floor, near Forever 21 side and a short walk from the elevators. Sign the waivers per person on the kiosks then go to the counter to purchase your time and socks. Or you can do this online and reserve your time in case they sell out when you arrive. Next you'll wait in a hallway with benches and lockers and watch a short safety video. It was very packed in here. Lots of birthday parties and tons of kids running wild. Since my 4yr old was too young, hubby was required to get a wristband and join the fun. We purchased the 60min, plus socks. Socks are required! The worker said I had to get a wristband and sign a waiver even though I'm just watching with my baby girl and she's too young to join anyways, it was free for me though so no biggie. (I just didn't want to embarrass myself but that jump ramp was tempting to try haha. Don't be fooled though, I've watched some tall grown men who tried and failed time after time throughout my visit. It's not as easy as it looks). We opted out for some girl shopping. There was a stand to purchase candy, drinks, popcorn, etc. And at the entrance counter, you can purchase American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park shirts, long sleeves, other merch. ANW Adventure Park is the best addition to the main place Mall in decades! For one low price each month , kids and parents can have access to their Ninja Warrior obstacles and their entire blow up race area. This place is definitely a fun spot for friends, but I'd say it's more geared towards kids. It was smaller than I expected, especially after seeing videos online that made it look much bigger. We went through all the obstacle courses within an hour and were left wishing there was more to do. One of the workers kept quizzing us on the safety video, which felt a bit strange and unnecessary. Also, I bought grip socks from them, but my friends brought their own. Unfortunately, they wouldn't allow my friends to go into the bounce house because their socks weren't the ones sold on-site. It honestly felt like a money grab since the only difference was the "American Ninja Warrior" branding on their socks. They even tried to tell us their socks were specially designed for the bounce house, which didn't make much sense. Another downside was the slides in the bounce house--they weren't very smooth and actually burned us a bit when we slid down. We visited the American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park in Santa Ana today for the 6:30 PM session and had an extremely disappointing and disturbing experience. First, a man aggressively confronted a boy because his daughter thought he had pushed her. The boy insisted it wasn't him, and even the girl wasn't sure. The boy was visibly shaken and started crying. Shockingly, a staff member stood nearby and did absolutely nothing. I had to intervene and offer the boy help. Then, my own son stepped on a needle that pierced his foot. We handed the needle (photo attached) to a staff member -- no follow-up, no concern. The park itself was filthy -- clumps of hair, plastic sock wrappers scattered across the trampolines, and trash just left lying around. One of the worst hazards was a "Wet Floor" sign dangerously wedged between trampoline seams -- right where kids are jumping. It could easily cause an injury. The concept of this place is great, but the execution and management are completely unacceptable. It felt chaotic, unsafe, and uncared for. Sadly, we won't be coming back. read more

Had a great time at American Ninja Warrior with our niece and nephew! The facility was very clean and well maintained. We came on a Tuesday so it was pretty empty which was great. Check in was a breeze since we bought our tickets online. They ask you to wear their ANW socks with the grips on the bottom for the inflatable park. But the obstacle courses was where we had the most fun. Courses range from easy then to intermediate then challenging... I believe there was 5 or 6 courses in total, and then a "beat the wall" section with 8 ft, 12 ft, and 14 ft ramps. The hardest obstacles for me were definitely the ones that required grip strength. I knocked off a star because I think the pricing was just a little more than we thought it should have been. But overall, we had an awesome time. My hubby and I were super sore the next day! We figured it would be a fun lil outing for us all to do so we decided to go for it. My sister and I did not know what to expect but decided to give it a try since we're big fans of the show. We had to buy their grip socks to use the inflatable course but wanted the full experience so we paid the price. The employees were very kind and explained everything clearly. The place was pretty clean upon walking in. There were 4 different courses with various challenges with increasing difficulty level. They had a snack bar and kids parties are pretty popular on the weekends. We paid for 1 hour and you can repeat any course as many times as you'd like. My sister and I enjoyed our time but probably won't return just because it was busy and filled with kids just climbing and jumping off and through the course without any mind to other people waiting. MY ORDER 1 x 90-Minute Ninja Session 1 x M Toe Grip Socks 90-MINUTE NINJA SESSION ( $24.95): The park features five main courses laid out in straight columns, each packed with 4-5 obstacles you need to tackle to reach the end. Think ropes, swinging apparatuses, and monkey bars etc. There's also a bouncy house obstacle course for those who are sick of the subtle comfort of flat land. I focused on the five courses and found the difficulty level pretty spot-on for an untrained novice like me. There were one or two obstacles I couldn't quite finish, which, to be honest, only added to the fun because because the challenge is half the fun. My session came to an abrupt end when I fell in the bouncy house, tragically opening up a small (but painful) flesh wound. It turns out bouncy houses are not as innocent as they look. Wear long pants. That said, I left with my pride only slightly bruised and a strong desire for revenge on those courses next time. There is a concessions area inside, but I did not buy anything. TOE GRIP SOCKS ($3.5): You need to purchase a pair of their socks with grip underfoot, but i believe if you already have your own, you can forgo the purchase. Nice socks. Fit well with orange grip things on the bottom. I'll reuse them. Tips: - Wear long pants--scraping your knees or other exposed parts on plastic surfaces is not the badge of honor you think it'll be. For an adult that works out pretty often, 60 minutes was totally more than enough time for a fun session. There are 5 different courses and there's also an inflatable course section. We opted out of that for this session. I was tired after 15-20 minutes of trying the 5 ninja warrior courses. I was o Lu able to complete two. They range from easy to hard. Gloves are definitely recommended and if you forget them, they are available for purchase. Make sure to bring your energy and water although they do have a drinking fountain as well. We paid about $21 for 1-hour and we were required to buy their socks for an additional $4. 5 Minutes before your call time, they make you watch a safety video and then you just get to do the ninja warrior course with closed-toe shoes or the inflatable course without shoes. Lockers are free which is appreciated. The obstacles are challenging but fun, great for all ages. Open floor plan. Such a fun place! You pretty much pay for the kids and as an adult supervising your entrance is free. You do pay for the socks when you get into the bounce house area. This place is super fun even for us adults. The staff were all very nice. Inside the main place mall by JC Penney on the second floor. read more

Definitely a super fun active activity. Always wanted to try this as a kid and now that I've done it, it's cool to know. We booked for an hour and a half but due to the activeness level, we were done at an hour. The inflatable side was fun but I did not go in there as much as the actual course. Essentially the inflatable costs $2.50 more since you need to get their socks. One thing is my boyfriend and I were stared down the entire time we were in there by an employee which made us very uncomfortable, causing us to leave the inflatable area. The actual course was really fun, but it was a bit dangerous as there were small children running around everywhere and even in between the obstacles. I almost ran into kids a few times. If you are an adult, would recommend try going later at night or for adult only times as there were way too many children around. read more
