But there was no specific way to enter or even a specific loop. Just got to walk around a beautiful lake, then turned around because I had no idea where I was going. I feel like this is one of the more cramped areas of the park both from guests trying to get on rides and just move to other areas of the park. Walkways are narrow and windy which means it can be tricky to move around on busy days. If you're in a large group, please be mindful of this and don't stop in the middle to check a map or talk or something. Move to the side to let people move through more easily. The crowds aside, I think this area has some great attractions. From the classic (& admittedly hokey) Tiki Room to the thrill filled Indiana Jones ride. This area really has a little something for everyone. And don't sleep on the food! Beyond the iconic Dole Whip, places like Bangal Barbecue offer treats unlike anything else at the park. Be sure to spend some time in Adventureland. Don't just use it as your way to get in to New Orleans Square. It's worthy of spending a few hours in on your trip to Disneyland.

Right at rope drop we noticed a lot of people walking through Adventureland first and lining up at Indiana Jones. The walkways got really narrow so we couldn't run but instead had to walk. It's a popular area so I'd recommend going early.

The constructive feedback; the gentleman in charge of the clubhouse, (not sure how to put this) but I felt they were nitpicking, Requiring the trash bins / cans inside the clubhouse that stunk, with germs, bacteria, etc. had no Lysol, one had to reach in to get the replacement bags. Not very hygienic. I was under the impression that The two gentlemen in the clubhouse did not care and wanted us to dump the trash bags into the dumpster afterwards, which is fine, (and they weren't going to facilitate or lift the finger ) but there was trash - semi full and it would be really cool if they took out the trash bins to wash them out or had some type of antibacterial spray to use. - they didn't and it seem like they just didn't care. It could've easily been a five star review, but wasn't.

The "this" she was referring to was the unmitigated disaster that was the rideshare situation in Parking Lot 4. Drop off was fine, but the parking lot pick up procedure was both confusing, frustrating and a complete debacle. Keep in mind there were 45,000 attendees at least a third of whom probably booked a rideshare. Not only did police and event staff block off entry completely around 11:00PM (the show ended at 10:00PM) we were redirected to another parking lot supposedly letting drivers in (but didn't end up doing so) leaving people completely stranded to fend for themselves for their way home. Nobody seemed to have any idea what was going on or who had accurate information. You were completely out of luck if your phone died. Lord knows how you'd manage to get home. Our party didn't end up getting home until 1:30AM, 3.5 hours after the event ended. My guess is there's probably some kind of bizarre city ordinance that requires event spaces/parking lots close to residential homes to close at certain hours which is why they forced everyone out of Parking Lot 4 before anyone actually got picked up. I know this is the first year this music festival was held here and the space isn't properly prepared for traffic this size but this was completely unacceptable and avoidable. Shuttles and parking closer to the event were both pricy and sold out so for some folks the only reasonable alternative was a rideshare. What was otherwise an enjoyable space gave people a terrible impression and a bad taste in their mouths not to return to a place so poorly equipped to handle transport. If you're going to hold huge events like this, sort out the rideshare situation after the event or not do them at all at Irvine Great Park.

We initially went to the cashier, and they directed us to the computers on the side to sign the waivers first, then come back to pay. After we paid, they told us the wait would be about 30 minutes, but surprisingly they called our names within just 2 to 3 minutes while we were still walking around. That was a nice bonus. :) They provided headsocks for free, and we didn't have to pay extra or sign up for any annual membership. Each race is supposed to be 12 laps, but if someone finishes early, you might end up doing less. One of the boys completed 11 laps, but didn't affect the experience at all. As we were exiting, we saw a podium area so kids hopped on for a quick photo. I've been here before for birthday parties and even with coworkers, and every time has been consistently fun. The staff was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Not really sure why this place gets some negative reviews. I haven't experienced anything negative. Would definitely come back.

There were actually staff available to help out, and the vibe was just so much better. It did take a bit for folks to get started with the harnesses and helmets, so the kids didn't have as much time to climb, which was a bit of a bummer because it took them a bit to warm up and gain some confidence with climbing! Sender City is pretty awesome and the self-belay system is pretty cool too.

Four of them are drop-in open play all the time for on for off and the paddle system is ingenious and slides 4 paddles together each time another court opens up. Color-coded too. Played tonight once before dinner and once after dinner. Got to play with some friendly reasonable people. And when people play with a good attitude, like the ones I found tonight, it makes a good time, during my after dinner round, I noticed that the challenge court was open, so for the competitive people that want that kind of action, that court opens up for competitive play at certain times of the day. Otherwise, the other four courts go through some kind of a reservation system, depending what's set on the calendar.

Today was kind of hot. I come here annually not necessarily to this park but I do the walk annually in memory of my oldest daughter Jenny, who died at the age of 32 years of age on July 27, 2017 every year AFSP sponsors a walk such as this this year it happens to be at the Mike Ward community park the location changes every year if you know, someone suffering from mental illness or suicidal ideation, seek help.
