Friendly staff and instructors. Well located and a nice facility. Lots to offer. My son enjoyed his class and interaction with the teacher.

Great place to visit in DCA!…read more Just an FYI, I noticed that unless you have your stroller designated as a wheelchair, you can't bring it in and you have to park it outside for those who have children. Kids love this place as they can run around, go down a slide, and use the tire zipline among the rope climbing areas. I think it's a more physical and interactive space where they can also learn about the wilderness and how we can take care of nature around us versus just running around a regular playground. You can interact with the cast members there and sometimes they have photo pass opportunities here too. For Oogie Boogie Bash, this area is used for the Villain's Grove and during the Xmas season you can meet Santa here or decorate some cookies. I went during the Hoppers Collaboration and it's a cute little "scavenger hunt" with signs of the critter characters, a puzzle to decode, and photo opportunities with some free stickers. Super cute and fun! Hope it becomes permanent since the theme is perfect and since I love Tom Lizard.

They can climb on rock walls, play up in the rope house and even do tire swings. My kids can play here for hours without knowing. If we need a break from rides and the heat, this is the spot we like going to and just let the kids run around. My kids are still pretty small so I follow them but bigger kids can just explore with you feeling confident that they are contained and safe. Great spot. Totally recommend.

The two examples they had to try out in the store had poor responses to their controllers; Antonio informed us that they're broken. When I mentioned that that is not a great way to sell their products, he said he isn't going to change them out until they're completely useless because kids just keep messing them up. I responded that this isn't a good testament to their quality. He continued the conversation with a slight bitterness about how children play so I stopped; kids are the main reason for your source of income- you should probably be nicer (I did not say this to him though I wanted to). The quality overall was quite low (everything is plastic!) so we opted to build models instead. The girl who showed us that was enthusiastic and helpful. We spent over 150$ on our custom vehicles; I got cool skull accessories on my truck. This store is better if you want to throw a party than to leave with a toy that will last. There's cheaper RTR and kits with far better quality than this place carries. Pros: - great location/around other activities - free parking for the first hour - clean and bright shop Cons: - pricey for low, low quality - no monster truck builds available - not truly kid-friendly

My first recent try was to go the traditional route - heater, filter, bottles of water conditioner & beneficial bacteria, etc. etc. - when I unexpectedly happened upon an eye-opening You-Tube vid about the Walstad method (less homework & a more natural environment, the way God intended). So I returned all that other gear & am starting from scratch. Fernando eased My initial anxiety arriving as a total tank newbie, and gave Me a tour of the various low-maintenance plants I could start My nitrogen cycling with. Nolan - the Captain of this aquarium supplies ship - answered every one of My questions with patience & grace, did not talk down to Me or make Me feel stupid, and I left feeling happily hopeful that I might actually be successful in creating a fish-friendly safe & healthy environment. First time we went as a party of 20, and this time we got a great deal through Groupon 12 bucks for kids for an hour of play and trust me, that's more than enough time! Between 11-12 was tiny tots time but we got lucky and since no one showed up by 11:30, we got to go in first and the park was literally empty, we had the entire place to ourselves! From the obstacle courses, and massive jumping house this place makes you get your workout in! For the kids, they had so much fun exploring, doing flips, hiding in the ball pit, and exploring-You need to come to this place! On Saturday nights they have 18 and over which is pretty cool but there's so much to do! They have a refreshment stand with chips, soft drinks, candies, and even ICEE! It is a little hot in there, so bring water that was my only suggestion! Although it's not ninja warrior anymore, this place still packed a punch! They do parties as well and have a large area for your guest and prices are not over the top like other similar places! Overall will we go again, damn right we will! Will we tell others about it, yes we will! It's a great place to get the kids off the screens and into a more athletic atmosphere!

There is also an inflatable side, which is a large bouncy house equipped with slides, small obstacle course, ball pits, etc. Pretty fun stuff [:

We absolutely love Discovery Cube Orange County! It's such a great place for kids to learn,…read moreexplore, and have fun at the same time. The exhibits are incredibly interactive, and they're constantly changing things out, so there's always something new to discover. The admission prices are already very reasonable, but we ended up getting an annual pass because you can easily make your money back within just a couple of visits. The annual pass also includes free parking, which is a nice bonus. Even better, the membership gives you access to a network of science centers and museums around the country that are part of the same organization, so when you're traveling, there's a good chance you'll be able to visit another participating science museum for free or at a discounted rate. The Discovery Cube itself is much bigger than I expected from the outside. You can easily spend several hours here, especially with younger kids. Pretty much every exhibit is hands-on and interactive, which makes it much more engaging than a traditional museum. My favorite exhibit is the supermarket. You get a shopping cart with a screen and go around the store scanning different items based on the game or challenge on the screen. It's surprisingly fun and also sneaks in some learning about nutrition, shopping, and making healthy choices. Overall, this is one of those places we're happy to keep coming back to, especially with the kids. The annual pass is absolutely worth it if you live nearby and plan on visiting more than once or twice. One small tip: bring hand sanitizer. With so many interactive exhibits and kids touching everything, you'll definitely want it!

I also found out that this visit can be free during the first weekend of the month, for Bank of America account holders. Upon entering the museum, there was a display of build your own racing cars where a lot of kids were racing their creations. It was definitely a fun site to see. As you venture throughout the museum towards the back area, you walk into the dinosaur exhibit area. This is where they talk about fossils and various dinosaurs and there's also an explorer kit that you pay extra to try and find items and clues. Upstairs, you can have a better view of the space missile rocket that's on display and it's quite fascinating to read about rockets. Towards the back right of the museum currently there is a Scooby Doo Halloween exhibit so it was also fun to experience that area. Lastly, the most famous area is still the indoor Minh water area where you can see where is fish and stingrays. Overall a great experience for kids and adults. One less star as you have to pay $10 to park in their parking lot. I remember many years ago I used to be free, but I guess since it's more popular, you have to pay for parking now.

Pros: clean, fun, high energy. Bathrooms were clean and easy to find. Staff was readily available. Spacious even for a big group. Organized. I hurt my hand on the swinging door (totally my fault) and I was able to quickly get an ice pack from a staff member. Guests were emailed a complementary pic taken by the staff with the BounceU logo. Cons: not a big deal at all, but I walked into the wrong room once and other people walked into our group room 2-3 times while in the glow room. I don't think it was a big deal but would be good to have the party name on the door to prevent this. Parking was packed as they share the lot with the rest of the shopping center. What's nice is you stay with your group or party the entire time so there's no mingling with people that are not in your party. CONs: Prices for the additional games and activities is a bit high.

They have over 100 games, just as much as, if not more than, your local Chucke cheese. You can host parties or just come on a casual day and have a blast. It does get packed but is not crazy packed; it's still really fun. Price point is the best selling point of the arcade; you pay in nickels exactly what the name implies. Most games cost about 5 nickels at most, which is about a quarter per game. You can order quarters in bulk, 3, 5, 9, or 10$. It is a baggie filled with nickels for whatever price point you decide to buy. You can also request additional baggies to separate your coins between People or baggies for your tickets. Admission is about $2 per person to get in, but it is not expensive at all. With $20, the four of us spent a good 1 hour and 30 minutes having fun. We were also able to get some really cool prizes at the end. There was no warning, no signage, no posted rule, and no indication whatsoever that slightly moving a machine could result in being removed from the arcade. We were paying customers there with our children, enjoying our time, and the entire situation was handled extremely unprofessionally. What was unfair was being immediately asked to leave over something minor without any warning or clearly communicated policy. Parents, just be aware: you can be a paying customer with your children and still be kicked out without a warning over something you were never told was a rule. Ps: homegirl with the glasses and light brown curly hair had a rude attitude, unprofessional behavior, and the way she handled the situation resulted in extremely unfair treatment toward my family. Very disappointing experience.

My mom introduced my kids to claw machines and they fell in love. I knew it would be a pricey outing but they really enjoyed themselves. The machines were mostly winnable. I noticed the 2 machines with Pokémon plushies in them were noticeably harder to win. They have workers walking around and rearranging the plushies to be able to win easier. And if they noticed you having an extra hard time, I've seen both set it up to basically guarantee you win. This type of customer service was the reason I went back and bought the second $100 round. You obviously do not need to spend as much as I did but I enjoyed watching my kids having fun. Even though my 2 year old was refusing help and would essentially waste the tokens. She double tapped and pushed the claw down the shoot at least 20 times but she really wanted to do it herself so I let her. At the end, we had enough to trade up for anything. And all my daughter really wanted were the toy story plushies. They traded at 2 for 1. The lotso was won in one of the machines. The alien was not out but when the worker noticed my daughter wanting the toy story characters, she told us to wait a minute because she thinks there's alien in the back. She came back with one and my daughter had to have it. So we traded 8 plushies for Woody, Buzz, Hamm, and an alien. As we were leaving, I had extras to trade but not enough for the really big ones or anything I really wanted. That's when one of the workers (I really wish I got her name. But she worked today, 8/19 at around 3pm) told me about their credit system. You can give them the plushies you'd like to use as trade in credit and they put it into their system with your name and number for next time to use. I love this since you cannot trade them once you walk out with them. I'll be back when my budget allows my kids to run wild again.
