Parents were not pros at identifying the various items out on the floor and it was a minefield to navigate it all so you could easily turn an ankle on equipment. I watched a couple little girls stumble and start crying because of this. The bday had a game that 2 staff members ran but otherwise they were largely absent on the gym floor. There was no instruction, no structure otherwise. Kids wandered between the bounce house to every piece of equipment with total access. As a parent I kept close to my child to help him but I liked other party venues a lot better because they had staff to get involved and show safe ways to use equipment they had put on the floor. On a hot day over 80 degrees there was no a/c except up in the upstairs party room. I was very hot and uncomfortable as were the kids. Thankfully I brought my son's water to keep him hydrated. Everyone was sweaty and gross. Add to that the venue did not require socks, it seemed a ripe environment for athletes foot or other germs to flourish as I did not notice the equipment or mats looked particularly clean. Nobody was cleaning after use either like at other venues. Overall, nice idea but I think staff needs to think about execution of a bday party better. There is a wide variety of equipment but no instruction, little space between the equipment, and random jump boards everywhere that I don't think 5 yr olds were equipped to navigate well.

My kids learned to swim here, and Miss Bridget is truly the best instructor. She is patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and has helped my children build confidence and strong swimming skills. My 4-year-old son absolutely loves the Ninja class with Coach Max. Coach Max does an amazing job keeping the kids engaged while helping them develop strength, coordination, and confidence. My daughter has also loved her gymnastics classes with Coach Jamie. Coach Jamie is kind, supportive, and makes every class fun while teaching excellent gymnastics fundamentals. Every instructor we have worked with at Cal Elite has been kind, experienced, professional, and genuinely invested in the success of the children they teach. The positive and encouraging environment keeps our kids excited to come back week after week. We highly recommend Cal Elite to any family looking for swim lessons, gymnastics, ninja classes, and other activities for their children!

Young employees work directly with children in the Sweet Peas class, yet there appears to be no appropriate dress code. I understand wearing gym clothes, but having an employee's buttocks exposed and more while working with young children is completely unacceptable. A construction project is normally planned well in advance, so parents should have been notified much earlier. Overall, the lack of proper management and communication is very concerning.

We first…read morestarted coming when my eldest daughter was just 3 years old, and now my youngest daughter attends as well. We have always enjoyed our time at Olympica, the coaches, and the way they have cared for our girls over the years. My girls absolutely love this place, and it has really become a place that feels like family to us. This summer, Olympica became even more special to our family. While my one-year-old son was hospitalized, Leigh went above and beyond for our family and welcomed my girls to camp during the second week we were in the hospital. This camp gave my girls something fun and exciting to look forward to while our family was going through a really difficult time. And of course, they got to experience their favorite week of camp--their final week of summer camp, when they combine all of the gymnastics fun with water play! My girls had such a great time and came home excited to tell us about everything they got to do. What meant the most to me was knowing that my girls were somewhere they already loved and felt comfortable. They knew the coaches, the coaches knew them, and I knew they were safe, cared for, and going to have a great time. During such an uncertain and difficult time for our family, that meant so much. I am especially grateful to Leigh for the kindness she showed our family. She went out of her way to make sure my girls had somewhere fun to go during a time when so much of our attention had to be focused on the hospital. What could have been a traumatic experience for them instead became a week they were excited about and will remember for all the fun they had. After five years of being part of Olympica, I can honestly say that our family has always felt so welcomed and cared for here. The coaches have been wonderful, my girls love coming, and we are so grateful for the role Olympica has played in our girls' lives. Thank you, Leigh, and thank you to all of the coaches and everyone at Olympica for taking such good care of our family over the years. We are so grateful to be part of the Olympica family and can't wait for many more years here!

After summer, I was placed in a different group with a new, inexperienced coach and significantly younger athletes. Despite the challenges, I stayed committed and continued working hard. I actually never missed a single practice in the 4 and a half months I was there. There were ongoing issues within the group (specifically one girl) that made the environment uncomfortable, and although they were brought to the coaches' attention multiple times, nothing was effectively addressed. A month before our first competition--after we had already begun learning routines--I received an email stating that I was no longer welcome at the gym. I was given no clear explanation, no prior warning, and no opportunity to discuss or resolve anything. Being removed from a team this way, especially right before competition season, was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I would strongly encourage better communication and fairness when handling athletes in the future.

She taught my little cousin and had no control of the situation she was in. Can be also harsh teaching to. I would have felt better with some of the other coaches but to be honest I don't feel this place is good for us. We are considering places like era or vibe gymnastics. The environment here seems like they are putting a show rather than actual teaching methods and passing down the experience. Just seems like coach Madelyn was a prime example of that. Wouldn't recommend her or this place either

The coaches are knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely care about each athlete's progress and well-being. The owners go above and beyond to create a positive, safe, and uplifting environment. We just love this gym and cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone involved. They create an environment that feels motivating and positive without being overly stressful, which makes training something I actually look forward to. The facility is also excellent. The tumble track is one of the best I've ever used and has been super helpful for building skills and confidence. Everything is well-kept and organized, and the overall setup makes it easy to focus during practice. The atmosphere of the gym is another thing I really appreciate. It has that classic chalky gymnastics feel, but it's still clean and not unpleasant. The environment overall is welcoming, energetic, and focused in the best way. Overall, World Elite stands out for both the quality of coaching and the environment they create for athletes. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and well-run gymnastics gym.

Communication from staff is inconsistent, policies are unclear, and parents are given conflicting information depending on who they speak with. After being told one thing in person by staff, I later spoke with Liz, who provided completely different information with no acknowledgment of the earlier guidance. As a result, a reasonable request regarding already-paid classes was denied due to staff miscommunication. When I was at the gym in person, I specifically asked to speak with the manager, Taylor, but she refused to come out and instead said she would call me. That call never happened. The lack of accountability and follow-through only added to the frustration. We have been members for over two years and currently have another child enrolled, yet there was no flexibility or effort to resolve the situation fairly. For a business that serves families and children, this level of customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this gym based on how poorly concerns are handled.

When I shared that I hoped to compete at a high level and possibly even the Olympics, I was told, "sorry to burst your bubble, but you'll never make it to the Olympics." This was extremely discouraging and not something a young athlete should hear from a coach. After my parent followed up, I was allowed to join the pre-team for a trial period. During those two weeks, I experienced a lack of support. One athlete was consistently rude to me, and when I struggled with a bars skill, a coach responded in a way that made me feel embarrassed rather than helped. At the end of the trial period, I was told I would hear back about whether I made the team, but I never received any communication. Overall, the environment felt unsupportive and unprofessional. I believe young athletes deserve encouragement, respect, and clear communication, which I did not experience here.
