The person answered the phone said there was nothing they could do about it and that I needed to call GrubHub. I don't know where the disconnect is. They charged me for a pepperoni pizza and two additional toppings and they didn't deliver what I ordered. I don't know if it's a problem with the GrubHub app or Yelp or what but the bottom line is I got a pizza with no meat on it. There was no offer to make it right and that just sucks. I paid for three toppings and I only got two. The part that really sucks is I gave them an opportunity to make it right but she told me there was nothing she could do because she did what she was supposed to do. In my eyes a mistake was made and now I have a pizza that I can't eat. Thanks for norhing Bob's pizza.

Each slice is $3.75, or you can get two slices for $7.50 plus tax, so there's really no discount. I paid cash and noticed I was charged $7.99 for two slices instead of the advertised $7.50. I pointed it out to the man who took my order, but he insisted I wasn't overcharged. I even showed him the menu and the payment screen, where you could clearly see the discrepancy (see photos), but he was dismissive and said the register never makes mistakes. I had a long day at work and wasn't about to argue over less than a dollar. Still, it's the principle. Charging customers more than the posted price and refusing to acknowledge it is not okay. It made my experience very disappointing. As for the food, we ordered two pepperoni slices, one pepperoni and mushroom, and one ham and pineapple. The toppings were good, but this is definitely not New York-style pizza. The crust was overcooked and so dry that it was close to tasting like cardboard. I wouldn't recommend this place. If you do decide to eat here, pay close attention to the price you're charged and ask for a receipt.

Brought my wife and her mom to the closest location in Norwalk when it first opened around 11 am on a weekday (specifically to have the buffet, priced at $11.99 without drink) and found the price and food to be good. The first Mountain Mike's opened near Stanford in Palo Alto in 1978 (it's interesting how some chain restaurants opened first as a local joint on a college campus and then grew to become a lot more than that...Jimmy John's comes to mind, though I am not comparing EIU to Stanford). There are 271 locations in California, with over 30 in SoCal now. The set-up of the restaurant was a bit different than I was expecting from a buffet restaurant. It's located on the first story in a multi-story office building with other restaurants. Parking can be tough: there's a lot of surface parking but the many other businesses in the complex (including a LA fitness) take up a lot of spaces as well. We were one of the first ones to come in. You order and pay first (then handed two plates: one for pizza and one for salad), and find seating in the small indoor dining room (maybe enough seating for 20 diners) or larger front patio (another 20). It doesn't have dedicated steam tables for the pizza, instead the pizzas are put under heat lamps at the front counter, and a very small refrigerated salad section is part of the price. This means the selection is small for both the pizzas and salad bar, and really only 2 people can be selecting at a time. They offer different types of crusts on the menu, but the only one at the buffet was traditional (typical pillowy hand-tossed) with a crispy bottom, but a bit thick for my preference. There is space for 4 pizzas (the kitchen combines different topping slices into one pan, so there are probably 8 different types at a time) and a small basket of cheese bread. The salad bar was basic but the toppings were fresh. Off to the side, there is a self-serve soda fountain with Pepsi products. Next to that, there is a 'Game' section, just 6 different crane games, ripe to take your money. On the initial pizzas, the cheese was plentiful along with plenty of toppings, and the crust was well cooked. As the pizzas were getting refilled, the replacements were not as good: amount of cheese was definitely a lot less and the toppings were more haphazard. I tried both pizzas with marinara (liked) and bbq sauce (not as much). The toppings were good: with the vegetables being sliced thinly so cooked al dente, and the quality of the sausage was solid (far better than Dominos or Pizza Hut). And their classic pepperoni pizza was well liked by our group. Read on-line that at other places, one can ask for specific pizzas to be made for the buffet, but didn't seem like that was encouraged here (since only space for 4 pizzas and no thin crust). Regardless, for $11.99, this is great value, especially with a salad bar.

Maybe its the low quality pastrami they use, or the way the pastrami is prepared? Couldnt figure it out. Now the wings. Not good. Dry, lack seasoning, lack flavor. Ranch was decent, the watered down but yummy kind you get form Tams or hood burgers. This place has been around for a while, maybe surviving in their usual customers? Not sure.

Im not a Yelp woman. I downloaded it just for this purpose. I have to spread the news and have many people enjoy this fabulous place. Have to say I've been to so many Chuck E. Cheese and nun of them come close to this one. I went to La mirada, Cerritos, Huntington park, LA and nun of them are good like this one. My kids love the pizza and the wings and these somehow taste way better than those named locations. The salad bar was clean and topped every minute and the drinking fountain was clean often by this girl. It was a little packed. But I have to say the Chuck E was the best part. My kids absolutely loved him. He interacted with everyone like no other he often sat at other tables to be with the families. We took a lot of photos with the Chuck E and so did so many people. The kids around absolutely adored him. We saw him go in his room and when the worker came out we greeted him and he goes by the name Jason. Me and my husband thanked him so much because our kids loved him. We stayed a few to observe and Jason is absolutely a hard worker. He often went to reward center and the kid check and cleaned tables took dirty trays to the back and sweeped while at last cleaning all the games in a certain section all while keeping the smile on him. Many kids called him for help and he always helped and not even stoped smiling once. He definitely deserves a raise because I don't see much doing it like him. You can easily tell the difference between Norwalk and la mirada, Cerritos, Huntington park, and LA combined. Well today we celebrated my son bday at this place. Not the first time we come here but pretty much this is our near by pizza restaurant. Well today was a horrible day for a few of us parent here at this chuckie cheese in norwalk. While police were called and parents wondering what was happening because police officers were outside talking to Employees about an incident that went on inside. I ask on of the employees from the entrance what was going on and if i should be consern for my child cause i had the gut feeling something bad happened. well they didnt say what but that it wad being handle by police officers. so i went to try to find out what was going on and nothing. me as a concern parent have every right to know if my kids are safe. so i asked the woman whos child was being question by police officers and asked what happen. well to cut this review short, we find out someones kid was confronted by a predator that was offering the. 7yr old winning tickets an exchange to show his private part inside the mens restroom. Pretty much this upset me very much knowing that this can happen or continue happening and we cant be informed to protect our kids. Come on. This is a child molester, predator, sick mind individual that shouldnt be protected by parents. Us parents should be informed ASAP. Hope this doesnt happen again. Employees or places like this should be fully aware that places like this aint safe. Glad the boy is safe. Police handled this individual and took him into custody. Thsts sll needed to be said. My 4 year old boy had a rough day today so I took him here for some guy time. We played for 45 minutes and honestly had a good time. Why one star? Because when we go to leave we stop at the ticket counter. We wait a solid ten minutes plus before someone comes to help. In that time I'm strategizing with my boy how to spend his measly 320 tickets. There's a "Dino skeleton" next to the 500 sign but I see clearly labeled in the shelving it says "Dino skeleton 300." In fact there's two different bins that say the same thing. Sweet. Finally get helped. "I'd like a Dino skeleton." "Nope. That 500." "What about that sign right next to you with the Dino skeletons that's says 300." "That's just for storage. It's not real." Why would you have it labeled that way and facing your customers if it's "not real." Ok, whatever. We'll take this rocket for 300. "Ok....oh, sorry we're out of stock." Me: "ok, then just give me a Dino skeleton to make up for it." "Sorry can't do that." Day ends with my tired toddler in tears because even though I dropped a good amount of money they won't give me rhythm on a five cent toy that they mislabeled. Thanks guys. read more

We had such an amazing experience at Chuck E. Cheese while celebrating my nephew's 7th birthday! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make his birthday celebration special and memorable. I especially want to recognize Manager Yusuf, who was absolutely amazing! He was kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a wonderful experience. His positive attitude and the way he treated our family really stood out. The entire staff deserves recognition for their hard work and kindness. Everyone was so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the celebration. I am not the type of person to go to Chuck E Cheese, however, the only reason I came across this place is because my cousin had a birthday party for her son. Anyhow, I do not recommend anyone to bring their kids to this location, whatsoever. First and foremost, most of the games are out of service and if they do work they don't give you any tickets (for my godson). Second, this place is a disaster, from kids throwing things at each other to cursing each other out, who wants their children surrounded by that? Not me! Last, to make this whole experience so not better there was a predator in the building and the cops had to be called to get him out!!!!! Stay far away from this place. The only good thing was the pizza and that's a shocker. read more

Honestly, the food at this location was better than that of a lot of CECs, but the overall service was kind of slow, and it took us a while to get what we ordered. And the person who plays the walkaround character could really have had way more personality, which goes for the rest of the Norwalk staff. Food was good; the pizza was nice and hot and the boneless chicken bites were nice and crispy. The roller coaster simulator in the gameroom is pretty awesome, and I kind of wish that my local CEC had one. Norwalk is definitely not the WORST location in the CEC chain, but it could definitely use a personality boost, because that's what Chuck E. Cheese's is about, honestly! read more

No. Just no. NO. I'm tolerant and I love to bring my kids to have a good time, but this experience was very unpleasant to say the least. We came for a friend's kid's birthday and when came in it was mediocore. It didn't seem very sanitary and wasn't sure when the last time the swept or vaccummed... Nevertheless we came to celebrate a birthday. The food was average if anything. I was semi scared to bring my kids to the ball pit (which i'm sure is very, GROSS). Kids running around and all I couldn't take. The employees were understanding and considerate to our party at least by giving extra tokens and paying attention to adult needs. What kind of BUDUSSY crap is this? Only two beers per ID one beer per hour. Doesn't corporate know we are parents, with bratty ass kids. That all they ask for is pizza and money to play games? Not only do we run after them around the facility. But we also have to partake in most of the games! (Ok, that part is fun) but we as parents need beer!!! And who the fuck got rid of the pitchers!!!! One cup per hour?!? I would've been ok with it if it was a red solo cup! But a clear cup? All I am saying, is bring back the beer so I can deal with my bratty kid. The employee then refused to give us a refund and then bribe us to pay him $20 to allow us to play. We paid him via Zelle since it was are only choice. The employee was very unprofessional. Good enough parking if you come early and I think there's street parking in front of the building gate. We left at 8pm ish, parking lot was full and people were waiting for parking. The turf seems well maintained in my opinion and the kids had a great time. We played on field#3 and like that the session is recorded, which you can review the games/play. I believe it takes a couple hours or next day to view, but once it's available I'll be able to show my son. Would recommend to trying this place out.

She came back too and checked again "i need to see the ids of the people who ordered at the bar and came back" so you don't trust your other coworkers at the bar to check ids then. It turned the experience very sour and turns me away from coming back.

To top it off, there is plenty of free parking in the immediate lot as well as Downey High School next door. Inside, the theater is modern and not too big and not too small but just right IMO. I love how there is ample space in between the rows so that patrons are not packed in (seated) together like sardines...it's also nice that patrons can easily breeze by without stepping on toes etc. Overall, I liked the venue and hope to return soon. Plenty of food options nearby for a meal before/after a show. Porto's is literally a block or two away!

It is a small park located just off Excelsior Drive. They keep the field locked up so you can't use it for a family softball game unless you are willing to climb the fence. There is also a small t-ball field that doesn't have a fence surrounding it. There is only one basketball court and two handball courts. There is a small open grass area where you see people sometimes have a small pick-up soccer game. There is a recently renovated playground for the little kids and a recreation center with a room/patio that can be rented out. The main problem with this park is it just seems "dead"...you don't see young kids or families hanging out having fun...there is usually more adults there hanging out that look a bit sketchy like they are there because they don't have anywhere else to go and are possibly homeless, unemployed, and you will see people hanging out on benches in the shade of the trees smoking weed and getting their drink on...more a hangout for losers than families in my opinion.
