She was very rude acted as though what I was saying about the salad bar being nasty was false#check pictures.I explained to Megan once again that this is unsanitary and Megan brushed me off. Oh my! I have never been to a Chuck E Cheese that was more ghetto.... This coming from a girl who moved from the heart of a big city. The place was FILTHY!!! It was about 7:30 when I arrived with my nieces and nephew so I know it was dinnertime rush hour but this was ridiculous! We had to hunt for a clear table which we still wiped down on our own while employees were standing around chit chatting... If I could of gotten away with leaving I would have! (but the kids were excited and would have never forgiven me!). Every table surrounding us had discarded drinks and half eaten pizza while there was trash on the floor all over... Very unappealing! That being said, once I got my hand sanitizer and started looking at what this Chuck Es had to offer I was pleasantly surprised! First they had the old school Chuck E and friends on stage singing songs (the big mechanical ones that have mostly been replaced by newer, not as charming versions.). The arcade games were also different from other Chuck Es, the kids especially liked a life sized horse that you ride in a horse race and the Deal or No Deal machine. Finally, Chuck E himself came out in all his mousey glory to say hi to the kids... Something I also rarely see at other locations... As he walked around he had a large big of tickets he threw out to the kids! Our kids collected at least 40+ tickets that way... Very cool! When we were getting ready to leave, about 8:30, an employee finally started to clear the tables around us... I haven't been here in a few years, but this place is still crazy hectic... to those that choose to work here, you are brave souls! Parking is okay, but you gotta get there early for a good spot. I'm a huge fan of skee ball, so I bought $20 worth of tokens this past Saturday and just crushed it! I kept hitting the 40k bonus that would spit out 100 tickets and it kept jamming up the machine... thankfully, the machine guy who kept coming over was always cool about it. I can't help it...I take my daughter here every few months (she's seven). It seems they've updated it since last visit but there are still some games out of order or not working correctly. My daughter is still at the age where she's ok with the little small prizes she gets for her tickets, so I'll enjoy that while it lasts. Really, it's $20 (ten for food/drink another ten for tokens...use coupons) that gets us a couple hours of fun, running around and acting like kids time. Our trick is to use the one game that you slam down the button on a number (my girl is great at hitting 9) to score our tickets, then just take our time playing others...to play. Just like spending $15 in the casino slot machines, go until it's gone. Pizza sucks, mozzarella sticks are mediocre but dude, they have Mello Yellow! Other than my trip to Indianapolis and finding it at the Indy airport I've yet to find it anywhere else. Sometimes...this is why I look forward to my trip here. It's edible but I wouldn't call it good. I had the easiest time as a parent. I have done all my daughter's previous parties myself; complete with themes and hours of work cooking/crafting/cleaning. I chose the least expensive package for my daughter and her guests. My daughter was thrilled with her party! And I got to come home to a clean house! All in all they have a pretty efficient set up here. I think they've taken some of the other Yelper's criticisms seriously because the place did not strike me as dirty or run down and I thought the tickets were pretty generous with the games. But I will add this: every party has a host and you want your host to be Marcus!!! He had the very best personality. One of those kids that you just know comes from a good family and has a very respectable way about him. We all adored him! And he has some pipes, so when singing the Happy Birthday song - listen up! I took my son to this location on a Tuesday morning. The website says they open at 11 but apparently they open at 10. The staff is VERY unfriendly. I would say that is you apply to work at a place like chuck e cheese one main factor should be that you like kids. It was as though the people working here couldn't be bothered. There was a coupon on their website. For $20 you got 95 tokens. We probably lost 10 of those tokens because the machines kept taking them and finding someone to help was near impossible. They had an all you can eat Buffett available for 5.99. I saw a pizza and a bowl of salad out in the "buffet" area. The place was fairly clean but there were a lot of people there most of which were parents sitting at tables just letting their kids run around. We had a Birthday party for my 3 year old daughter, Camryn, on Saturday June 22. Our hostess Skylar was outstanding from start to finish. She really exceeded our expectations in every way. She really made my daughters 3rd birthday one to remember and we are truly grateful for that. As you can imagine there are lots of things to juggle from food, games, presents, cake, deserts, etc., and she was there to help us every step of the way. She had all the kids dancing with Chuck E' Cheese, she cut and served cake, delivered ice cream for the kids, let them play in the ticket tornado thing, just did a great job overall. Arriving at 7pm I was greeted by a coworker from this pizza place for kids with a anger annoyed smirk. The whole place looks like a sad mess with a cheap quality of prizes for kids . We received a stamp on our hands , then we waited in line to pay for food and tokens , but it took about 30 mins for us to finally decide that our wait time and by the look of the pizza we saw other people eat would be disappointing. As I was leaving I was ask to place a led light on our stamped hand ..... My two year old son loves this place and loved when Chuck E gave him a high five. This is actually one of the cleaner locations that I've been to and I like how they have a huge and open layout. Extended family members from near and far gathered at this pizza restaurant to celebrate my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. On a Sunday midday, we expected pizza, beer, salad and games for children. First, the positive -- there was plenty of parking, and the restaurant interior appeared clean and orderly. But surprise, when we attempted to order we were told that the restaurant was out of both pizza dough and beer! Only salad and chicken wings were available. One guest, attempting to video this situation, was asked to leave the restaurant. A significant number of the restaurant's games were inoperative, and the ticket redeeming machines didn't work. Growing up in Iowa there was not much to do so I always looked forward to going to Chuck E Cheese. When I first moved to California and we went here this place was cool but not as cool as the chuck e cheese I remembered. The good: -decent amount of games for a quarter a play -food is still good in regards to chuck e cheese -good for young children The bad: -staff is not very friendly: I got kicked out for taking my cousin (who is 15) here, we just wanted to order some pizza but the guy told me since I'm not the parent I can't go in cause of insurance or whatever. I asked if I can order food at least and he said no. (My cousin was visiting from Japan and never experienced chuck e cheese, horrible first and last time, poor lad) -small and outdated. Place is pretty limited in terms of variety, machines seem old as well and the whole building just is not appealing Conclusion: If you are a parent and want to let your children have a good time and food, they might enjoy it.
