First time going to a place like this, and it was for my 4 year olds birthday party. We booked sight unseen based on reviews. Delaney was our host and so super sweet and so so helpful. She kept everything on track and kept me informed on what was happening and what was coming up. She was so good with the kids and really made the party go so smoothly. We only got pizza for the kids which I'm glad cause it was pretty expensive for a whole pizza for the adults and it was cold and not very good. The kids were happy with it though. We paid extra for the photos they took during play since there were a handful of cute ones. Lots of blurry ones and a lot of my niece and nephew (more than the birthday boy lol) but a few gems we wanted to have for memories. The other play attendee was alright. She was on her phone a lot and at one point my son was distressed and scared of an activity (the one where you jump from island to island) and he was crying to come down. The attendant was literally sitting near him on her phone not helping him. Thankfully I heard him and went to help him off the activity. At the end of the party, my husband gave Delaney a cash tip because she was so good to us. As stated before, we've never been to a place like this and didn't know any better. When I went to pay the bill, the manager gave me a bill for $800 and I knew it was the wrong one. It was for 25+6 kids and our event was 10 kids (but we only had 5). She questioned me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I gave her my kids name and she gave me the correct bill and she pointed out where to put gratuity. I told her my husband paid cash to Delaney and the manager asked if it was for the "team" or just Delaney. I said I thought it was just for Delaney since she was our primary person and I didn't know my husband's intent. I admitted we had never been to a place like this and didn't know the procedure. She asked if I wanted to go ask my husband how much he gave and I just stared at her. She again asked me if I was going to tip the team (she was listed as part of the team but this was my first interaction with her) and I said we already tipped Delaney. She gave me my receipt to sign and lectured me about how the tip should go to the team. I said I'll know for next time and left. My husband was outside with the kids and I told him what happened just for the manager to come outside to put something in a car. He told her tip was for Delaney since she was the most helpful to us and again the manager explained we're supposed to tip everyone. We just left Everything was wonderful except for this manager. Almost a perfect day. My son had so much fun though so that's all that matters. read more

I truly cannot think the staff that pump it up enough! Everything was absolutely amazing! If you want a carefree birthday party where you literally just show up and the kids have fun and the parents do absolutely nothing. This is a place for you! The staff was so tentative. I love the timeline they had everything was done. The kids had such a great time. They did the set up and the cleanup! The kids went and play and I love the fact that it was just our party and no other kids there so the parents had a comfort knowing that the kids cannot go anywhere and that we aren't watching somebody else's kids. It was such an easy set up probably one of the easiest birthday parties I've ever thrown for my son! And he felt so special! All of his friends had such a great time! read more

This is our current observations just by attending quite a few birthday parties multiple months in a row, 4 to be exact including our son's. They don't call to confirm your party until a day or two before which was a little stressful, they were thorough over the phone, but no they did not specify that I would be paying for every child 2-17 so older siblings (mine is going on 18) was added to the party package along with a handful of older kids even though they just sat and didn't participate. For the amount of money you all make here, you sure do nickle and dime for every little thing. Please don't offer a photo package ($20 extra) for an employee to take terrible pics with a 1990's CoolPix camera that are blurry or are mostly just the backs of the kids. Maybe make an investment for a camera of this decade. The thing that made me most upset is that even though the party hosts were nice and polite, they didn't enforce safety rules in the rooms (like limit how many kids in each bouncer like the posted signs say) so my anxiety was through the roof watching 20 kids on one inflatable. Also I purchase extra pizza for adults and brought in as many snacks as I could to save money. Hosts let the kids mow through the adult pizzas instead of offering more pizzas to the kids OR bring out the extra pizzas for the adults. We ended up being stuck with 2 1/2 large crappy pizzas to take home. Our party plus the most current party we attended left a bad taste and we won't be returning even with our free jump passes. We had a glow in the dark party in December. Not sure how everyone feels about it, but it was mask optional since no staff wore masks. They did have another party right after ours. Not sure if they clean the rooms after each party, so you'd have to ask. The jump rooms were great. Had a small private party and it was amazing to have it all to ourselves. Staff was nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. They take pics of your party and you have the option to purchase them. Overall great place for a party for your kids. read more

While the play areas are nice I can't recommend this place for a birthday party. It's way too overpriced for what you get and they are constantly trying to add on to your cost. I was particularly frustrated that after paying $400 for a 2 hour birthday party, I was expected to tip the workers. Why in the world aren't they getting paid based off of the insane amount im already paying? I paid extra money to have it be a themed party and they had only 1 table with a table cloth and gave each child only one themed plate and cup but charged me an additional $40 for that. This place is a rip off and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I'd come back for their open jump time but do not recommend it for a birthday party. Please keep in mind that I had 1 parent who came late. At the end, when the team was eating pizza, the parent that arrived late asked me of Pump it up supplied the tray of cookies in the party package and I said no, I bought them for the team. Well, apparently, my parent that arrived late, said when she arrived and was checking in, the staff at the check-in desk were eating my cookies, while my group was in the back having fun. THAT WAS FOUL, YOU ATE COOKIES BELONGING TO KIDS AND WERE NOT YOURS. After complaining to the supervisor on site who didn't even look 20, tell me they will look into it. Meh. I remembered coming to this place as a kid and having birthday parties that were memorable and fun. That was not my experience when I had my sons 3rd birthday here and I feel like I spent a TON of money and didn't really enjoy the experience. We spent about $540 (yes you read that right) & we were nickel and dimed for everything. Do not pay extra to have the photos that they take. They are taken on a bad quality camera and they don't even take good photos. It's almost like a toddler has a camera and is taking the photos. I believe it's $25 extra, DONT DO IT. They had teenage kids working here as party hosts who don't know anything about anything. Any question I had about anything was answered with "I have no idea" seriously? NEXT, the jumpy rooms are clean and well kept from what I could see. They don't allow adults to go onto the inflatables anymore (didn't like that) so I couldn't really see how clean they were on the inside. We paid extra for the glow package which I felt was ok and semi worth the extra money. Once we got to the celebration party room is where I got nickel and dimed. They only allow you to bring a few small things to feed all the adults unless you purchase extra stuff through them. They don't even allow you to bring drinks I think except water. Pizza is overpriced and not worth it. Drinks are overpriced and not worth it. I ended up being sent home with a large pizza that was ordered for the kids (not even touched) because they didn't even offer it to us, THE ADULTS. The upselling here is absolutely a shame. I get your a business and that's how you make money but if people are already spending an arm and leg to get into this place to jump you should allow them to bring Costco sized pizzas to feed adults and or kids. I really can't recommend this place & that's a shame. I spent so much money here and I don't feel I got my moneys worth. That's a hell of a lot of money to not feel happy about spending. We had a glow in the dark party here in December for both of our kids and it went so smoothly and problem free that I couldn't believe how organized and fun this place was. The kids and the adults really enjoyed every moment and the party planners and staff know what they are doing. I wanted to give both my toddlers a wonderful birthday during such a hectic time and I know they got just that here. If your a busy mama or just want a smooth sailing party, pump it up Murrieta knows what they Aaron doing. Trust me. We had right under 25 kids and about 40 adults and absolutely no issues. Awesome play place to take the kids to! Took my kiddos with a friend and they had a blast! We went during the open jump which was 2 hours and cost only $10 per kid. There are a lot of cool huge jumpers with mazes, jumping, sliding, and ball throwing. There were also a couple of other things besides the jumpers like big foam blocks, rock climbing, and that floor projecter game. Definitely recommend for families to take their kids out to play and take a break from being indoors and iPads and video games! It's good for 2 years and up and they will have fun! It's also a good place to host parties at! Very clean, big, friendly welcoming place and the staff was very nice! The place is a bit hidden in between all the commercial buildings and for parking a lot of spots said loading so I parked in parking that was not labeled but was by the place not right in front. read more

My daughter had a fun birthday party here but I feel taken advantage of. The upselling is ridiculous. I received a confirmation call a few days before the party asking what I'd like to have included at the party. We were on a tight budget so I opted out of the add-ons. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the party due to a funeral that was planned the same day. My husband handled everything at the party and for whatever reason the staff decided they would ask all the add-on questions again to him. It's a wonderful concept, but Elsa was a little weird and the experience besides letting the kids play was not really enjoyable. Elise was the party coordinator and she was delightful but besides that Elsa was bringing up things that weren't a bother (such as the parking and whose parents belongs to whose kids) and was very very particular on how the process went before your reservation started(without letting you know how it goes). Luckily, we have been here before Covid so we remembered how the processes went. With that being said, we definitely won't be back again, ever(our friends who came won't either). Nice for a last minute party but not for a laid back type of get together for kids. Elsa makes it not laid back. I wish I didn't have to say that but I had called 4 days before our reservation and there was awkward dialog where I had asked to change our reservation to 15 kids instead of 10 (like I had reserved for my deposit) and she had told me over and over again asking if I understand what she's saying. Yes I understood, the reason I was calling was because Elsa had confirmed 7kids but I personally confirmed 15 kids (which is what they charged me for) I wanted everyone to be fed but we ended up leaving the place early to find a place to feed ourselves haha. read more

We were invited to a party at Pump It Up to celebrate my cousin's daughter and our experience was good for the most party. The kids did have a great time playing, but a lot of us parents were concerned there were only two attendants provided to supervise. The playroom was just too big to be managed by the two attendants who I have to say rated a A+ among the group. Both of the ladies were so engaging, attentive and kind to the children; keeping them busy throughout the entire play period. Both of the attendants were also very quick to help when an issue arose with my child and went above and beyond to help me. The staff here are amazing. Our first time there and we bumped into two other special needs kids plus my own. The attendant staff kept the three kids going. My son had so much fun as he was engaged with a friendly staff. He soon was attached to her (Sydney). Another staff named Sean was always taking care of our kiddos. I'm just amazed of how interactive these staff are to kids with special needs. The second time we went there Hayley, Amanda, and Sean were doing great with kids. They looked out and played with the kids. Another day of awesome time for my son. If you go there, go to the afternoon session because there will be more attendant staff. The last time we went there at 10:00, there was only one staff who couldn't watch both rooms, therefore was unable to open up the Daredevil Island for kids to jump or slide down. I was thinking if you have two rooms, you should at least put two staff to work. People pay and were not able to enjoy all the inflatables. Anyway, at the last 5 minutes when my son so badly wanted to go on the Daredevil Island, the one staff as he was wrapping things up allowed everybody to go on that two times. I gave this place because of the amazing staff and my son actually enjoyed the inflatables especially the slide. Also, it was very affordable. I bought the punch card for five punches for $25 which is actually cheaper than Groupon. $5 for one kid for two hours of entertainment. What a deal!! read more

This is an awesome facility but I have booked parties here and attended and the teens that work here are so rude when they're serving the kids they quietly tell them no because the parents aren't paying attn and they want to hurry up and get everyone out. This time the kids asked for more pizza the servers were being dismissive and weren't getting them food, even though they had full pies left and the kids had only had one piece, because they wanted to check serving cupcakes off their list. This happens every time I'm here and then they end up loading the food to go for the host. This time they had packed up pizza on the to go cart and the kids were like can we have more. I purchased 5 tickets on Groupon for free jump time. My family has 5 people so it was awesome it was offered in that amount! On Christmas break there is not much to do but go stir crazy so we bought the tickets and went! READ ON FOR FACTS 1.) we arrive ready to jump and we were greeted like this, what party are you here for? No party ma'am just here to jump. Let me find my tickets. 2.) the rep let me find my Groupon and then said you cannot jump on weekends. Come back M-F when it's free air time. 3.) I show her the FULL disclosure and fine print on Groupon and no where does it say that! NO WHERE! 4.) she literally looks at me and goes oh it supposed to but you can't jump today. Um....how about I'm sorry for the confusion and that your whole family got dressed and drove up here to Murrieta to jump, let me notify my manager of the Groupon wording. No nothing. My husband bought my sons these blow up balls they have there and he was putting them together and another employee walked in and she tells him they can't jump they are leaving. Yes ma'am we are calm down! 5.) my 3 year old proceeded to run around and grabbed the door handle of a door in the corner and pulled it open so I stopped him and said no baby we can't go in there. While I'm doing that both employees are like NO YOU CANNOT TOUCH THAT DOOR! Really? Clearly you see me grabbing him and he's 3! Again this is a children's place chill out!! 6.) I finally visit the website to check what she said about free air time and OMGGGG get ready!!! Are you ready??? It's a 2 hour window per day and they pick the time!! AGAIN, good thing I didn't just take her word for it that it's M-F & drive up there to jump I would've been sent away again! Literally I have 2 toddlers who nap and of course ALL free air time is during nap time! 7.) I have attached a photo for you! So if you have Little's unless you want to come during lunch nap & dinner you are at a loss! I asked my friend if she wanted to go? I am out this money and now to use it I gotta deal with cranky kids b/c the hours are awful!! I'm thinking the business does this on purpose! It's in a warehouse park and there is very little parking and they must not welcome a large crowd. 8.) my friend I offered the tickets too said no thanks we are not a fan of this place at all! So what's that tell you! My husband is military we move a lot we are new here and my friend is from here! So take that for what it's worth! After I use these tickets they will NEVER see us again and I will spread the word to all I know. I've also contacted Groupon about false advertisement for hiding the part about only on certain days only during the window they give only for 2 hours once a day!! What an awful idea!! Our experience was overall good, because the employees were great. But we had a large party (20 kids) plus adults. 2 hours was definitely not enough time. There should be an option to add on an hour. They advised I would have to buy another party slot at $700. Things that need to be improved are the kids are so thirsty after jumping, luke warm gross water fountain is only option. The pics they take are blurry, definitely need to update their cameras. Paying $25 for 18 party pics wasn't worth it when you can take much better photos on your phone. Jumpers are old and need to be updated. When moved into the party room it was absolutely so rushed and crowded. We sang happy Birthday as soon as we walked in the room. Then they served pizza to the kids and cut the cake and you are rushed out. No time to even eat. They were serving cake and kids were still trying to eat pizza.. and absolutely no time to open gifts (they are loaded in a bin and you take to your car). If you have a small party and can do everything in 2 hours, this will be a good place. Unfortunately for us, we wouldn't book again due to our family didn't even fit in the room (adults were standing trying to eat, because seating is limited for kids). This is a great place to throw a child's birthday party. The set up is great and is perfect for hosting this type of event. And it's also very organized. And the staff is friendly and grounds are clean. FINDING THE PLACE: It can be a bit difficult looking for this coming from Elm because it doesn't face the street. If you have the patience, you'll be fine. PARKING: Because it's located between warehouses, it can be difficult to find a close parking spot; however, there are plenty of parking spaces around. Be sure to wear comfy shoes. UPON ENTRANCE: We were greeted by one of the employees and given a waiver to sign in the kids. Also, kids should also wear socks to play. Easy peasy! PLAY TIME: We were directed to go to the play arena, which is a kid's dream!! A whole room of jump houses and there were 3 huge ones where we were in. It can be a bit cramped in there with a bunch of kids and adults but it definitely creates a fun environment for the kids to enjoy. So A+ to that! DINING/PARTY ARENA: After play time, everyone went to the dining/party arena. This is where the birthday celebrant sat on a huge inflatable throne and where his/her guests sing the Happy Birthday song. What I really liked in here was the TV they had in the room playing the photos that the staff took of the kids playing from earlier in the day. I didn't even notice anyone taking photos so a lot of us adults liked this idea. There were 2 employees there in the room helping pass out pizza slices, cake, pouring drinks, and collecting trash. We even watched the birthday celebrant open gifts. This place is perfect for those who want to throw a child a quick and fun a birthday party. The total length of the party was about 2 (maybe 2.5) hours long. I can not give enough praise for this location's Pump Ut Up!!! I've been to several friends' kid's birthdays at these venues and I have never experienced the attention and as friendly a staff as I have had here, hosting my son's birthday this past weekend. What a wonderful experience!!! The staff learned the kids' names, even, as I would hear them rooting the kids on on the rock climbing wall. I had a new staff introducing themselves to me at least every half hour or so, joining the staff already assisting me. There was never a shortage of attentive and friendly help. It was my first time hosting a birthday party where everything was take care of so well! It is worth every cent to host a fun event here and a memorable way to celebrate a young one's birthday. I planned and reserved the venue a month before the event and placed a $50 non refundable deposit. The party I chose was the Glow Party Theme to host in the evening and Glow Necklaces for guests in a darker jumphouse setting. It was about $215 for 2 hours, 26 kids. $10/ additional child guest over 2, but adults were not charged to accompany kids. It was pouring rain on our party date and I was so glad we chose to do this year's bash indoors!!! Email confirmations were sent to me and complimentary invitations to hand out with a waiver and sock reminder for guests. Also, everything is available online. I received a courtesy call a couple days before the event from Elsa and last minute instructions made. Arriving at our party time, we loaded our cart and the staff immediately took our supplies to the party room to set up for us. All I had to do was greet and meet our guests. They collected everyone's waivers. Children watched the safety video and we entered our first arena play room filled with the inflatable obstacle courses, rock climbing wall, inflatable boxing arena, etc. All the kids received one-on-one help as they could climb the rock wall. The second room was filled with more slides and obstacle courses. Staff, again, was so attentive and constantly checking up on me and our guests. Another young lady found me just before the last minutes before the end of our time in this room to check on the party room's setup. I apologize I can't remember all their names, but it goes to show you how many there were in a way. And I was so preoccupied with my guests and kids but I do feel badly I didn't remember one in particular. In my eyes they were all so wonderful to us! Finishing up the last jump arena, we took a few group photos, and guided into the party room for cake and sweets! The room had four long tables that could easily fit 80+ people. Plus additional seating around the edges of the room. They had our guest of honor seated in the inflatable throne and all his gifts proudly displayed along with our snacks and cake. Doing this again, I'd definitely have them do everything with pizza, (found out they use Pizza Factory) cake, and balloons!! We didn't have pizza because the event was set later in the evening and thought kids would have eaten dinner before 9 pm. They can even do party favor packages. Once gift opening time came, our girl helping with the party in this room assists with the gifts with my son and lists in detail who it was from and what items there were. It really helps so much for my thank you notes! I could truly sit back and enjoy my son's big day with our guests. Gratuity was an absolute must for such a fun and wonderful staff!!! After seeing the quality of service, it is money well spent to have them truly take care of every detail to your event!!! Just my opinion... Kids and parents love this place. I attended my niece's birthday party there today. The kids had a ball and my sister and brother-in-law liked having everything taken care of for them. It cost $250, plus extra for the pizza, and they felt it was well worth it. The staff takes care of everything, even helping the birthday girl, as she opened her presents, and keeping a gift list for "thank you" cards. My only gripe: I found it a little annoying that they make you pay 50 cents per game to use the air hockey table. You would think they wouldn't need to nickle and dime you when they have been paid top dollar already. The party lasts 2 hours. You start in arena 1, move to arena 2, then end at the party room for presents, pizza and cake. read more

I went here several times over the period of a decade. When my 2 oldest daughter turned 15 they got a job here. This is when I realized how this place is actually ran, breaking several child labor laws. Owner scheduled my 15 and 16 year olds to work 12 hour shifts many times (nearly every weekend day the last month they worked there). When I checked my daughter's check, she was not paid OT. Further, it came to my attention that my 15 year old had fallen behind in school and the school informed me that a work permit was never done. When I talked to the owner of this business about this, she did not care. I reminded her that it is required by law that minors get a work permit to work legally, still didn't care. I found out that NONE of these kids working there have work permits. I also was told of several instances in which the manager yelled and cussed out her minor workers in front of everyone, including parent and children customers. One of my daughter's is highly allergic to cats, which is a common allergy. The manager brings more than just her birds to work...she brings her cat and other animals. I had to bring my daughter allergy medication when her eyes started swelling and she began having breathing difficulties. When my daughter told the owner, the owner's response was "the cat doesn't run around everywhere." and continues to bring the cat. I told my oldest daughter to find another job and put her 2 weeks notice in. When she did, the manager never responded to her and my daughter had to find out she was taken off the schedule by a coworker. In addition, another petty action was taken or lack off...she was never sent her final check. Also the manager steals these kid employees tips. She will only be at the register and not work the parties, yet when the parents tip the workers she takes an equal share of it. She even got mad at a father who put his foot down that the tips were for the young workers who worked his child's party, not the person he didnt see at all. I also found out that they do NOT wipe the play equipment after each use or even at the end of the day or even on a weekly basis. I'm disgusted with the way these kid's naivety is being taken advantage of and I will never support this business again. I've never filed a complaint against a business to the California Labor Board but my conscience wouldn't let me just let this go. read more

I've gone back and forth about leaving this review, however I think every parent needs to know what they're in for. While pump it up is fun for the kids, they're a nightmare to work with. NIGHTMARE! The owner, the woman w the parrot, is more difficult then a three year old with no nap. If she didn't work there or have to speak to guests, I would give it 5stars. She's rude, unprofessional and extremely awkward. Many of my guests complained about her, and her tone. How embarrassing! I was mortified for my guests to feel that way. I had felt that way the entire planning process, however, I hoped that on the day if she would be better. When planning, one should be able to ask questions and not be spoken down to. When planning an event and spending lots of money the coordinator should be communicative and cooperative. However, the owner is difficult, condescending and not pleasant to work with. I brought in my own everything, decor, plates, napkins, table coverings, cups, favors, you name it. But that was a task, because she makes it so difficult. Furthermore she wouldn't even communicate with me until 2 days before event, because "that's how she does it!" I'm sorry, this is a party with 30+ kids and you can confirm? Additional options are made difficult, I paid for glow party, but was then only given one item per kid. To be told, after she charged me, she felt they were too young on day of. Say you don't recommend that the "two days before" when planning, don't rip me off. The hosts were fine, nothing amazing, they took fun pictures of the kids. We have been to Pump it Up countless times. Every time we go, we are so pleased by the professionalism and the warmth of Elsa (one of the owners) and the entire team. They have open jump for the kids for 2 hour blocks at $8 per child. As a budget conscientious family, this is an amazing deal. But one of the reasons we keep returning is for their birthday parties. They're private, they provide the host/hostess, and the staff have thought of everything possible to personalize the day to the special person of the day. We may have reserved a party for my son today, but I was the one that felt catered to. Thank you Pump it Up team, you guys keep on doing that great work you're doing! read more

This place used to be so fun for the entire family, but now birthdays are just not the same, They don't let you fully open gifts anymore ,you pay so much per child to jump ages 2-17 NO ADULTS are allowed to jump this changed recently,which is so disappointing,especially when your already used to the rules! So if you have a shy 2-3 year old you can no longer help them along, you basically just waste your money ,they won't refund you nor will they disclose this information up front. Obviously they would lose your business, when you enter the play area is when they diside to disclose this information, we definitely won't be back especially with how rude the manager was after asking for information on why things changed, she was rude and went on to speak badly about me just because I asked a few questions, I wasn't rude I just wanted answers and she just wasn't in the mood, very Rude of her to treat customers this way , definitely racial profiling. read more

Update: 07/06/18 Went to another open play session today and once again it was great. All of the staff was really friendly as usual. One of the gals that works there named Sydney is super awesome. She goes out of her way to memorize the kids names and interact with them. Thanks for making my kiddos feel special! read more
