I've been looking for different indoor play places for my mom to take the grandkids and this one popped up, based off the reviews, I was excited for them to try it. My mom took the kids a few weeks ago for the first time and she said the person working wasn't very friendly and while the place was semi welcoming, it's not like the others we frequent. The kids had fun, so we figured we would keep it in the rotation. My mom ended up going back and she said the moment she walked in the same person working as last time was rude and notified her more than once they had changed hours and closed in an hour. My mom was bummed because we don't live in Fallbrook and usually spends about 2 hours there, but not a huge deal. When she was leaving, the person working again was extremely rude when my mom tried to make conversation. With that, we've decided we won't be back. The places closer to home are more welcoming and friendly, both space and staff wise. read more

I had my son's birthday here and it was the best birthday yet! They set up the whole table with plates and stickers for the kids. The surprise balloon drop was a hit!! It really made the party. I'm excited for the new owners to take on this place. I was already pleased of the changed they had made by moving a few of the large play house buildings so that you can view your child from the other side of the fence. I'm not going to compare the changes made from the first to the present owners. I will mention that I feel more comfortable with the current owners. I have only met one of the owners. His customer service is on point! He listens and is open to any suggestions to improve and better service the customers at Busy Bee. I feel they take pride in their business. I also like that the owner pays attention to what is going on in the play area when occupied. He's followed up on the restrooms after a diaper has been disposed. I find the place clean and safe. One of the suggestions I made to the owner was having the toddlers entrance from the lobby side only. The older kids tend to go in the toddlers section and get a little rambunctious and rough with the toddler toys and bringing into the older section. I enjoy bringing my grandson here knowing the place is clean, safe and the owner stay aware of the happenings going on in Busy Bee. read more

I love that they have open play every day and you don't have to secure a spot in advance or make a reservation. You can pay for an hour or an all day pass and come and go as you please. 2nd visit here. 1st visit her son was behind the counter with her sitting. 2nd Good place for kids to get their energy out & clean but unfortunately will not return. Owner brought her 2 kids and her son wasn't friendly with my daughter. I had to remove her from him multiple times as he kept coming back to her. Owner explained to son a couple times to not do it but not the why and didn't remove him out of play area as he would act out as some children do. We have been bringing our daughter here since she was 6 months old. The entire area is fenced in so you don't have to worry about wondering littles. The baby area is also separately fenced in so they are away from big kids and small choking hazards. Busy Bee is a sanctuary for the days I don't have energy and she has too much. There is a kitchen, garage, dress up area, and grocery store!! Perfect for little imaginations. They also have a play gym with two slides as well as a rock climbing wall! There's endless entertainment for them and lots of seating for you to watch them play. There are two restrooms as well! I recommend you follow them on Facebook because the owners will post events and specials that they are having. They have some pretty cool programs where you can drop the kids off on a Friday and go on a date. Busy Bee also has different pass options for hour, day or month. I honestly don't know what I would do if we didn't have this amazing area to bring our girl. She's made a ton of friends here and we get a needed break while watching her entertain herself and socialize. read more

Perfect place for the under 5 group! We moved to Murrieta from the OC and there's despite having much more inclement weather, there's simply not any good indoor playgrounds. This place has toddler size imagination areas - a kitchen, costume area, mechanic area, and grocery. Small foam pit, rock wall, and playset with two slides, train table and those rollercoasters you ride little tikes on. Plus a reading nook and play area for blocks. For the small space - there's so many fun activities and I love that there is a clear line of sight to the kids unlike the other places. It's really upsetting for the Yelp hours to say open, and the business hours sign next to the door to say open "10:00 to 4:00" but to show up and see the place closed at 1:25pm. Especially after I have already paid $90 (plus gas and my time) to come here with my kids so they can burn off some energy. I completely understand that ish happens but from a customer perspective, this really rubs me the wrong way. At least put a sign on the door or change your voicemail greeting. Love the Busy Bee! I've come three times now and each time has been great. I have three kids between 3 and 8 and all of them love this place. We drive past it all the time and the kids always beg to come back. They offer sibling discounts for hour passes, but we always get the day pass to really take advantage it the deal. Overall a nice little quiet place my kids loved playing at. My only suggestion is this place needs a lot of cleaning and disinfecting. There was a huge spider web between the entry door and wall when you first walk in. That tells me they haven't cleaned the place in a while. Kids play with all the little toys and a toy banana in the play kitchen was dirty/moldy. However, the bathrooms were clean which was nice.
