There was broken/ missing play equipment and the splash pad was no longer in service, which was so disappointing given how hot it was outside and families rely on fun places like this to cool down.

After speaking with other people at the park, we were told the City of Temecula does not currently have plans to reopen it. This information definitely needs to be updated online so families know before making the trip. Aside from that, the playground itself is very clean and has a nice rubberized surface for the kids. There is a massive toddler playground with its own separate swing set, along with a larger playground for older kids. It is honestly a nice park, and the closed splash pad is the only reason I am giving it three stars.

There was a gazebo that provided shade. And a water fountain that had cold water. There was a large monument called " They passed this way," that listed the names of pioneers and people that are important in the history of Temecula I had a Great visit here .I didn't see any picnic tables but I did spot a family sitting at the gazebo having a picnic with plates on their laps. There is a huge grass field to the left of this picture and plenty of shaded tables to the right of the pictured area. There is a bathroom available but it is porta-potty style. The park is well kept and always clean. Due to the amount of mature trees in this park there is always plenty of shade no matter what time of day you are here. I can see this being great for parties but keep in mind it's street parking so it is limited on the amount of cars that'll fit. There are slides for all age groups as well as climbing areas for all difficulty levels. The disk swing in the center is a huge hit with all the kids and when more than a couple families are here there is always a line for it. One nice thing I have noticed, usually you can hear frogs chirping in the bushes. It's a really cool sound that makes you feel far outside the city and is really enjoyable:) Come check this park out for yourself, it'll quickly become a favorite!!

Most people brought their own doggie bags because there was mostly a big field with some grass around it and a walking trail. Coco ended up posing for pictures! BAD NEWS: Our Coco still did not let it go so we took some nice pictures and went home afterwards... WOLF CREEK PARK is a great spot to just come and relax at. It does get nice and windy during the late afternoon. I would suggest bringing a jacket if you're visiting during the evening hours... OVERALL: It's a nice and pretty clean park overall!

This park has a number of soccer fields that are well maintained. It's fun to see these young players learn good sportsmanship, engage in physical activity & develop their athletic skills while having fun. We're fortunate that Temecula has a robust parks & recreation program. We are also grateful to the coaches, who volunteer & dedicate their time to the youth soccer program. This park has held many other community events and is in a great location. Parking can be a bit tight so the game times are staggered. There are playgrounds and bridges as well as pickle ball courts. Overall it's a lovely park.

Or pull the classic "park in some neighborhood and hope no one notices" move. Off-season? Sam Hicks Monument Park is located at the end of Front Street in Old Town Temecula. It is a shot…read morewalk to Oldtown and you can always find parking here. The park is about 2 acres acres and has a beautiful gazebo which is a really nice place to sit and relax. There are a ton of shade trees because Temecula in the summer can get very hot. The park has nice and clean picnic tables and BBQ grills. It is not usually crowded, but use of the BBQ area can get crowded for a kid's birthday or other family event. The entire are is very clean and you can bring your dog. Keep them on a leash. The restrooms are clean and safe. The Sam Hicks Monument (designed by Hicks) is made out of a 150 ton block of white granite. The monument was designed by Hicks to honor those who came through many years ago on their way to another California area to make a life. It is lovely. There is a super nice place area for kids and they will be busy about an hour. It is not huge, but wine/grape themed and super cute. It is a great place to park, go to the park and then walk over to Old Town.
