cool place, very different from all the other kid activities. my daughter's had an awesome time. Damion and his wife are super nice and interact great with kids. Definitely a cool experience. would recommend it to others :)

This place is great! My 4 year old has been here several times and really enjoys the different digs that they offer. He actually has a cool rock collection now.I also appreciate that with each dig he learns about what he finds. The owners are super nice and really take the time to interact with the kids. A great fun place to take you kids!

The kid paleontologist in me forced a trip to this place. Using my kiddo as an excuse, we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. I think rocks have always been trendy. I remember as a kid collecting them, pocketing ones I found along trails and going to places like Knott's Berry Farm where they'd have a geode cracking station. Seeing this place brought back rich memories of a childhood focused on what we need more of! I was talking to the incredibly nice couple who runs it, and they told me that they wanted to share all of their travels with everyone. What better way than bringing back little pieces of it back for kids to dig and find. Not only does this experience fill my educational cup, but it provides kids with a sensory exploration. Each section is divided into themes, and each theme contains different things to dig for. You can add on a geode for $3 more (yes please!). Kids are given a bin of dirt and a sheet of potential rocks/gems to find. They have as long as they want, and have a number of pieces that they can pick out of the ones they find. Once they finalize their pieces they are given a water bin to rinse them off! This part I really appreciated, because what kid doesn't like water play? Once the pieces are all dried and clean - each rock/gem are explained to them with brief detail from a display board. Once everything is finished you are given a cute little drawstring bag for your treasure. If you get the geode experience, there is a geode cracker in the back. You will get to select your geode and they put it in the cracker. Once cracked, it's then put in its own little box. Overall I think I was more impressed and amazed than my son. I love the concept, and enjoy out of the box thinking. They also do birthday parties I believe in 2 hour blocked windows. If you need a unique activity for a busy kiddo (especially one 4+ years) this is a great option!

    Glow dig!

This place is amazing! Mrs. Char and Mr. Damion are so extremely kind and informative and make it such a fun experience! They have so many crazy cool samples and they teach you about each item and how it is formed. They have different dig options like glow gems, fossils, VIP, etc...and each one is FANTASTIC! You come away with so many great samples and you learn each time you visit! I highly recommend this place. I would rate it 100 stars if I could. We always come away with a renewed love for rocks and gems.

The kids were engaged! And had a blast!

I enjoyed petting them and feeding the animals and being able to spend that time with the animals unlike in a crowded carnival style place that has a petting zoo. The staff who greeted us at the front were super sweet and friendly and playful too which makes the place feel just like another alternate world full of good, happy people. They have a little shop full of chocolates and when you enter, a staff member offers you a sample. She asked what we would like to try while kids received a milk chocolate with sprinkles on it. Because they're probably made with a lot of love and labor, the chocolates aren't cheap but not ridiculously overpriced either. I'm for sure the type though who would have spent a lot more on the chocolates if the tickets were cheaper but that's just me. I'm sure the ticket sales are better. A lot of people do walk out with purchasing any chocolate when I was there. I had fun looking at all of them though and deciding what I wanted. I will be back again when my children are a little older and it's a good excuse to stop by a winery while you're in the area.

We went in 2 days prior as our plan had got rained out and he was so flexible and understanding. We had a large group and they did everything to make us comfortable and well taken care of. Our party host was named Steven and he was phenomenal. He was so great with the kids, organized, got everything we needed and made sure we were up to date with the plan of the evening. It was amazing! We had been to portals about 6 months prior just as a fun family date of laser tag and mini golf and we had the best time. I would definitely recommend it and we plan to continue to make future trips.

The course itself was clean and interesting; however, the courses were very easy and not very challenging. As a result of the easy courses, my husband and I got through them really fast. I was a bit annoyed because there was another group playing, and they were running all over the place. They were stepping on the props and going out of order. The parents weren't paying attention, and I just wish there had been some intervention from staff, unless they don't have cameras in the room to see this type of behavior going on. I think the mini golf is more for little kids. I've been to other mini golf locations, and have always found them to be fun and challenging. I just feel like I didn't get my money's worth. I think the price should be lower than what it is. Overall, the place was clean, restrooms clean, and the staff were nice and helpful.

We drove the hour to come up from San Diego to Temecula to visit this park and spend the day with littles. Arrived at noon on a weekday, and the team was very informative about their lunch time closure and process. Check the city website. They do have great information and details there as well. I love that things were fenced off -- both around the playground and again around the splash pad -- to moderate the number of folks entering and exiting. The team working there is very kind.. keeps a good eye on the littles (parents do need to enter with the kids).. and do moderate the number of folks to avoid over crowding. This splash pad is associated with the Margarita Community park (https://www.yelp.com/biz/margarita-community-park-temecula) but the splash pad itself is listed separately with the city. I wanted to recognize the great job the team working the splash pad did. It's not huge.. but it's just right for kids up to early elementary. Mostly for the littles in attendance are of the age where they are just discovering their walking skills and can enjoy the splash of water on a hot day. The other kids weren't too crazy or rambunctious.. so I felt safe. Parents that day (weekday during school hours).. did pay close attention to their own children to keep everyone in check. There is one outdoor shower post to rinse off (the water is highly chlorinated -- or has a smell like outdoor pool water). Not much shade so definitely bring the sunscreen and hats. Recommend water shoes... even though the ground was clean and paved, the ground does get a bit toasty and it's just safer imo. They run in 55 minute increments to then shut the water off. and give the space a break and refresh the crowds. Once school lets out.. it does get more crowded in both the park and the splash pad. I believe the splash pad (as well as the surrounding park) are ADA accessible which is fantastic. I'm happy to see that all friends, of all abiliites, are able to enjoy fun time in the sun! Lots of fun.. and wish we lived closer!

We visited with six kids ranging from 1 to 9 years old, and every age had something to enjoy. The staff is friendly and upbeat, bathrooms were clean, and we appreciated the snack area with both treats and healthier options like string cheese and fruit pouches. If you're in California and looking for an indoor place where kids can truly be kids and burn energy, Uptown Jungle is a great choice. We'll definitely be back.

However, when you purchase the membership, it states that you get two months free. The term annual means 12 months, so you should be getting a total of 14 months. But in reality, what they do is make you pay for ten months and give you 2 months free for a total of 12 months. Last January I purchased 3 annual memberships for my grandkids I expected to have fourteen months, which would bring me to march. I didn't remember what day I purchased it. So I called them to ask what date I purchased the annual memberships, and they told me january ninth, but my membership had expired. I stated that I paid for the twelve months up front, and what's supposed to get two months free. She told me that to the best of her knowledge. What she could find out is that you pay for ten months and get two months free. When I questioned her what is said on my contract, she stated it, she was new and had only worked there for 2 weeks and she would ask her manager and call me back or have him call me back the following day. It's the manager who called me back and told me that when you buy ten months, you get two months free. I don't know when 10 months became annual, meaning a year, but apparently at Uptown Jungle, it does

My son was one of the youngest there and had no trouble playing with the bigger kids, but there is a separate area for just 2 and under. Bathroom was clean and there was a changing table with wipes and a diaper pail available. Pricing was $20 for 2 hours of play which was plenty long enough for us to explore everything. There were a couple play houses, a "fishing pond," a farmers market with tons of play fruits and grocery items, two slides, and tons of trucks and cars and other toys! There were plenty of places for parents to sit inside the play area and observe the kids. My only complaint was that it was a little warm for me inside and I wish the AC was on higher, but it was also 100 degrees outside and I was chasing a toddler. The parents to the older kids didn't seem uncomfortable at all! The website is a little confusing when booking, so pay extra attention to what days are available for which times! I had booked 10-12 on a weekday without realizing they didn't have open play slots until 12 that day. We killed time at Target and came back and it was still totally worth it. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcomed -- their customer service is incredible and you can tell they genuinely care about kids and families. Hours & Location: They're located right in Murrieta at 33050 Antelope Rd. Suite 210 -- easy to find and easy to enjoy! Their regular schedule has open play sessions most weekdays and Saturday sessions too -- check their calendar since Saturday/Sunday times vary a bit. Weekdays typically start around 9:00AM and go until around 5:00PM, with toddler times and open play blocks throughout the day. Ticket Prices & Fun Options: Play sessions are usually around $20 per child and siblings are discounted (under 12months often play free!) -- totally worth it for the fun and learning. They also offer special Montessori life skills classes like Little Chefs and Little Helpers (great for ages 2‑6!) for an added cost, and these are amazing for building confidence and real‑life skills. What We Loved: * There's a separate spot for babies and toddlers (0‑2-ish) -- super thoughtful for little explorers! * So many activities and pretend‑play areas that keep kids entertained and learning! * Clean facilities and bathrooms -- huge plus in my book! * They take dedicated cleaning breaks to sanitize toys and play areas, which made us feel safe and happy the whole time. Overall, this place is such a gem for young families -- playful, supportive, and unbelievably fun for littles! Whether you're looking for a fun outing, a learning play session, or a safe place for kiddos to burn energy -- this is it! 100% recommend!
