When i had a love for horses i was so exited to try riding and Blossom hill ranch is the perfect place to do that. I started by walking and then i cantered it was so fun. sofia,abby and Ilene were amazing teachers and so kind too. This is a great place for kids to learn to ride. Sophia is great with kids, super patient, and loved by all the kids. The ranch itself is great--all the horses and ponies are super sweet. The goats and the sheep are so cute. My kids have really enjoyed coming here, and I've been so happy to meet horse people here after moving to the area from Ohio and losing my lifelong connections. You really couldn't find a better place for kids to learn to ride. read more

We stumbled across this local gem when a friend gave us a heads up on a social distancing "feed the horses" drive-by event. What a fun thing to do as the horses popped their heads into the car to get a carrot. Since then, our 7 year old has started riding lessons and thoroughly enjoys the volunteers there (especially Becca) and the horsemanship class was really fun as well. We started with a free 30 minute lesson, signed up for weekly lessons, and now looking into booking her birthday party there as well. She totally loves this horse heaven and asks every day when she can return, we definitely think she has found her calling. Thank you, Blossom Hill for providing our community with a fun outdoor activity during these hard times, it really gives the kiddos something to look forward to! read more

My oldest daughter has only been coming for a few months (on and off) but in that short amount of time she is much happier. There are so many positives--nice the calming environment, the gentle horses which are very well taken care of, the trainers (shoutout to Ms. Julia her usual trainer who is the MOST patient with her, very gentle never irritated and that says a lot considering my daughter has some difficulty focusing at times). I feel that it's a very safe environment for her to learn. Furthermore, it's more than just the horseback riding lessons. They also teach a good work ethic (hard work caring for these beautiful animals), independence, social skills, teamwork, etc. Highly recommend this place! It will enrich your child's life in so many ways. read more

This place is Joke. It's run by kids teaching kids not professionals. They allow bullying, there's not order or control. Horses are old, out of shape and mistreated. Do not waste your money or time. My daughter got bullied by other kids and treated poorly by staff! This place should shut down. I should not even give it 1 star. Hands down worst place to ride in the IE! read more

No never ever come here, First off when I was 10 years old I went here and rode a horse named Oliver I was riding and all of a sudden a big truck came by and spooked all the horses and all the horses spooked but mine, I understand mistakes happen but the way they handled this ,he full on went off on me he threw me off and stepped on my elbow and I hurt my elbow really bad because he hurt me I broke my arm, and when that happened Candis and Sophia where sitting down in there GOLF CART and they didn't care they just stared and just didn't care my dad had to run over and he had to carry me I couldn't move and there were many witnesses and people who left because of how bad this business is, not only that they charged us 400$ and more for the monthly tuition and I wasn't even riding with them, and they let kids ride bad not cared for sassy horses who don't listen you have to kick super hard just for them to listen and the people who teach are super young they don't do teaching right they make you pay a monthly fee?! Most certain of all until this day I have nightmares from what they did and neglected me and what happened to me they treated me so badly and didn't help when I asked a question for help when my horse didn't listen they just said figure it out I am telling you they do things without ur permission with your horses Never come here. read more

My daughter has been taking lessons here for about 2 years. She loves it and it is the highlight of her week. I love that they offer horsemanship classes each week as well as the lesson. I cant wait for my daughter to be old enough to help on Saturdays with the ranch hand class. We signed my stepdaughter up for lessons at Blossom Hill over a year ago and love how much she looks forward to being there. It's her favorite part of every week and we love that she not only can go for her lesson, but can also help take care of the horses on the weekend. She has made several great friends here and her confidence, resilience, and love of horses have all increased and continue to grow by the day. My daughter has been riding at Blossom Hill for the last 14 months. She has learned so much. I took my daughter and niece for pony camp and they loved it. We did a single day just to try it out and my daughter is asking to go back. Candice is great with the little ones. I was able to stick around since I didn't feel comfortable to just randomly drop off my 5 year old at some camp. It's a nice place they got. They really make them work, clean stables, give horses water, prep the horses to ride etc. Great summer activity to get the kids outside and moving. read more

Where do I start? Bought a voucher for two on Groupon for my bf because he has never ridden a horse before and we arrived to the smallest, dirtiest little barn ever. It was an hour riding lesson, but I think the whole ride itself was 30 mins. But I didn't mind because it was such a horrible experience. 1. 1/3 of the course is through loose dirt, you will get dust all on you from the horse in front of you. 2. My horse, Cherry, was scared of any loud vehicles, but a major part of the course is on a street. A motorcycle passed by, it froze (that was okay). A UPS truck passed us by and it ran up a hill. Why would they pick a horse to go on a street that is terrified of loud vehicles? 3. The horse was slow.. I was falling so far behind. They kept telling me to kick, but if you have ridden before, you know that you don't have to kick soooooo hard to get it moving. And no matter how hard I kicked, it wouldn't go, but that was okay because I would rather go slow than it sprint or jolt trot on me. But guess what? Out of nowhere it sprints for a quick second, for no reason. 4. And that horse would keep going left or right on its own. I had to keep tugging left or right the horse ever so slightly to keep it walking straight, but every time I did, it would scoff and not being a professional, I was freaked out by everything this horse did. 5. They don't teach you anything before you get on a horse. They get you up on a horse and say tug right or left (for direction) and yank both reins (to stop) and then they start walking. I know there isn't much more, but the other places teach you thoroughly, tell you about your horse, get you a little acquainted before you hop on its back. All I can say is, there are like a many other ranches in Temecula/Murrieta area, go anywhere, but here. Even if you don't get the horse I got, this place is not professional or a good trail at all. read more

I've ridden english and western at several barns all across the country. This was one of the best english lesson experiences I've ever had. The horses are absolutely beautiful and so fun to ride. The facility is very nice, including great trails and a handful neighboring rings for ground work and dressage. I brought my boyfriend who has only been taking lessons for six months and they were great at pairing us with horses and exercises that best fit our differing skills and personalities. The horses were super responsive, agile, and sound (safe). The biggest selling point of the barn is the welcoming and knowledgable community led by Candice. Candace was great at articulating and showing riders how to make helpful improvements to your riding style. She also took great in-action pictures. Overall, a great experience and I really look forward to returning! read more

Hi i feel like if i didn't write this review someone would be missing out on a great experience. i have 5 horses of my own but my son showed no interest in riding. my niece had a birthday party at the ranch and everyone enjoyed the day. the kids had a quick lesson and a trail ride and they all couldn't stop talking about it. for Christmas i decided to get my niece riding lessons and went back to Candice since she is so reassuring and sweet i thought she would be a great mentor. my son decided that he wanted to go as well and we have been there ever since. i love to watch him ride. but most of all i love that he loves it. he shows up in my room as 6 am ready and dressed with helmet on (lesson is at 11:00 am) so he is excited to say the least. and well she has given him so much confidence and you can see it in his smile. he shines! read more

I love, love, love horses; just being around them gives me so much peace! I went to Blossom Hill Ranch for the first time with my girlfriends and loved it. We went there for lessons and it was an awesome experience! The owner, Candace, is wonderful! She and her team took great quality time and care of the five us, showing us the ropes from beginning to end: saddling our horses, brushing them, bonding with them, learning proper form for riding, jumping moves, trotting and so much more. Her Ranch is inviting and very peaceful, and needless to say, the horses are so majestic and very beautiful. I bonded with Jordan and he was amazing, 6.2 hands high (very tall). I bought my granddaughter 4 riding lessons for her 6th birthday. She has always had a love for horses. The young teacher taught her so much in such a short time. She taught her how to brush and saddle the horse. They are amazing. I highly recommend the ranch. It is on a big hill, always a breeze and so comfortable to be there. The staff a pleasure to talk to. This is money well spent for 5 days of fun! My boys (10 & 12 1/2) LOVED their time here. They woke up on the last day of the week long session, sad that it was the last day, even asking when they could come back.
