The campus is nice- the buildings are clean and there is free parking. The student lounge is equipped with water, a kitchenette (microwaves, fridge), and computers. Students can also print in the lounge (for a nominal fee). The instructors are really nice and are available for office hours if you have any questions. I went to UCSD for my first degree and I think that these instructors here at CSUSM Temecula are way more approachable. They all want you to pass the class so they are open to helping you succeed. I highly recommend coming here for the ABSN program! It's a little pricey but, what isn't?

He's not just a talented drummer, but also a great teacher who knows how to break things down so kids can actually understand and enjoy learning. Paul mixes in songs that my son already likes along with the fundamentals, so practicing at home feels less like homework and more like something he actually wants to do. As a parent, it's been amazing to watch him sit down at the drum set with excitement instead of resistance. The progress we've seen has been incredible. His rhythm, timing, and coordination have improved so much, but what stands out to me the most is his confidence. My son used to hesitate when trying something new, but with Paul's encouragement, he's learned to just go for it and keep pushing himself. Paul has this great balance of being encouraging and patient while also holding his students accountable so they don't just mess around. I went there on a Wednesday to ask about using the wheel and purchasing 3 hours of independent clay…read morework for $40. The guy I spoke with also told me that I could buy clay there and that all I needed to do beforehand was call to make sure they weren't busy and that there was space for me. On Thursday, I called ahead to make sure they weren't busy and then drove there. When I arrived, I was told, "Oh, we don't sell clay anymore." Luckily, I had mentioned that I didn't have clay because they were about to charge me the $40 anyway. First of all, why do they not sell clay when their name is literally "Temecula Clay"?! More importantly, please educate your employees on whether or not you sell clay, because I used to buy clay there a few years ago. I drove there TWO TIMES and wasn't able to use the wheel or work with clay at all. Just sell me the clay? Especially when the closest place to buy it is an hour away. Very frustrating and a huge waste of time. Update: They completely rectified the situation! Thank you so much to the owner and employees who fixed the issue.

Temecula Clay is Amazing! I brought my son with special needs there. He has high functioning…read moreautism. He is 23 years-old. I am his mother and we both had a fun, informative, creative time! Summer, our instructor was kind, patient and extremely helpful. She would teach us step by step what to do with the clay and then go to each student in the class and help them individually. I know personally that my "coffee mug" would have looked terrible without her expert help. My son did everything on his own with a little help with Summer and made two pieces. (I only made my coffee mug) We will continue to go there again and again. When I got home, I enthusiastically told my husband that I had found a new hobby! Thank you Summer! Thank you Temecula Clay! We came back for another session and learned they really only offered the "paint and sip" style class, and open studio was extremely expensive. We searched for another studio and found this place. Upon walking in, I knew IMMEDIATELY that this was the place where I could learn and grow quick throwing on the wheel. The owner Robin runs a tile shop by day, and then hosts monthly members for the studio by night. Everyone there has been there multiple years, with a few members being over 10 years! This place is a true community with members bring food and drink often, and always willing to help, or offer advice when solicited. Robin herself is terrific. Though she doesn't call herself a potter, she can make almost anything on the wheel, and is a true pro. She's super flexible, and willing to help. The studio monthly membership age is 18+, and there are no "classes". It's monthly, no contract, pay as you go. In your membership, you get open studio time and a full kiln shelf worth of pottery (dimensions on her website), one bisque firing and one glaze firing (she also has 16ish glazes for studio members). Total, there are 10ish wheels at the studio, and bats are also provided. For those who haven't thrown before, Robin offers a 3 pack, 1 on 1 class (1 day throwing, one day trimming, one day glazing) for $100 called "try it, you'll like it". This is instruction you literally cannot get anywhere else for under $250 just for the throwing lesson 1 on 1. Raku firings are also offered every so often, with glazes provided specifically for raku as well. She also offers community kiln firing for those who only need glaze or bisque firing. Lastly, Robin carries a variety of clay types (black, bmix, bmix with specks, speckled buff, porcelain, red) that she offers members at discounted prices. We've now been here as members for around a year, and I figured it was time to write a review! If you are seriously interested in pottery, or are a serious potter, this is a place you don't want to pass up. Check her website and give her a call!

When students needed support or clarification, responses were sometimes delayed or unhelpful. The organization of the program did not meet my expectations, and I felt that students were not provided with the level of guidance and transparency that should come with such a significant financial and time commitment. There were instances where policies and expectations were confusing, which added unnecessary stress throughout the program. Before enrolling at the Temecula campus, I encourage prospective students to ask detailed questions about tuition costs, academic expectations, grading policies, and the support services available. Speaking with current and former students can also provide valuable insight. My experience did not meet the standards I expected from a professional educational institution, and I would not personally recommend this campus based on my experience.

Social aggression in the class was happening and my daughter was suddenly refusing to go to school. I started paying close attention to the group chat the girls had going and quickly realized there was a lot of exclusion and bullying happening. I took screen shots of the girls' chats and the teachers messages she had with a parent that another mom had sent me. I was polite, respectful, and very patient. I was promised a confrontation with the girls, coaching sessions, etc. however, weeks went by and although they kept promising interventions, which I was very accommodating and supportive of for everyone involved, they quickly went silent. they swept it under the rug. I ended up having to pull my daughter out of the classroom. I had tried to approach the teacher, Miss G, and she was rude, dismissive, and accusatory of my daughter being the culprit (mind you, this is one girl up against about 6). I had recorded this conversation as well. The principle was nice and "I'm a christian" to my face, but she did nothing about the behavior and never reached out- even after my daughter was pulled from the school. Don't send your kids here, they seem to favor the majority of the minority.
